Me: Hello everyone 'hide behind laptop' okay so yea…took a while to update, sorry. You see, around June, I went to the ER and found out I had UTI, again, but well…it lasted longer than it did. I'm just barely recovering as it took up to five visits to the ER to be admitted into the hospital cause the UTI wouldn't go away. The fourth ER doc told me to come to the ER if I didn't feel well while still taking the antibiotics and said that I had to be admitted, but nope! The fifth ER doc just told me to continue taking it and go home and make an appointment with my urologist…but I know he have send me back to the ER and be admitted.

So in the beginning of August, I got worst after finishing the meds so back the ER where I'm finally admitted as I think this ER doc looked at the notes from the fourth ER doc. Not only that, but the urologist doc in that hospital was pissed that none of the previous ER docs didn't call him after my second visit from the same UTI.

Hehe, he went to visit me to make sure I was during alright before going downstairs to rant at the dunderheads ER docs. Haha, I freaking wish I could have seen that!

Anyway, I discharged with an IV on my right arm as I was taking antibiotics through the IV and pill ones as well. Just finished the IV but left my right arm a bit weak. It's a good thing I had this chapter and other chapters typed. So enjoy the long waited update and hope you'll enjoy it along with my other updates I'm doing today!

So thanks to those who reviewed: (sorry if I miss one) Guest #1 (ch.9), NinjaFang1331, The Keeper of Worlds, mewmaster89, foxchick1, Wishfull-star, guicontiero2 (ch.1), Guest #2 (ch.4), Lor (ch.3 and ch.6), Luiz4200 (ch.1, ch.5, ch.9 and ch.10) and Guest #3 (ch.8).

-Classroom-

Sho dashed into the classroom and towards his seat with Vante and Judai. Unfortunately, Judai wasn't attending his afternoon classes since Tome-san needed some extra help.

"Vante-kun! Bad news! I heard Manjoume-kun's gone missing!" shouted Sho, dramatically.

"What'd you say, mate?!" said Vante, eyes widened. That's when the students around them started to whisper.

"I heard he packed his things this morning and ran away."

"And all because he lost to Misawa, I bet. What a loser!"

While Misawa stayed silent, Vante and Sho didn't like what the other students were saying about Manjoume.

"Bloody hell, what's with them? They used to follow Manjoume nonstop," said Vante.

"Hey, Vante-kun…you don't think he's really hiding from everyone just because he lost the duel, do you?" questioned Sho.

"Hell no!" replied Vante before frowning, "And if he is hiding cause of his bloody 'pride' was hurt, I'm giving him a good one."

Sho nodded before taking a sit as class started. After the lesson, Vante and Sho sneaked to the front doors and was about to stop outside when someone pulled Vante's red jacket.

"What the – Nagisa! Did you really need to pull my jacket?! You were choking me!" said Vante, holding his neck. Nagisa simply shrugged with her tongue sticking out a bit.

"The real question is why you are cutting classes?" asked Kaida.

Vante sighed, "No need to lie to you. We're going to look for Manjoume. So, please don't tell the professors."

"…in one condition," said Kaida as Vante nodded, "We're going with you."

"Wait! Why?" said Sho.

"We can't just sit around and do nothing," replied Asuka.

Nagisa winked, "Besides, you two can't have all the fun."

The six set off into the forest to look for their missing classmate.

"Hey! Manjoume!" shouted Vante.

"Manjoume-kun!" shouted Sho.

"Oi Manjoume! Come out where you're hiding!" shouted Nagisa.

"He's being a sore loser," murmured Kaida.

"This is pathetic – get out here Manjoume! I can't believe you'd hid over losing a duel! That's just pitiful!" shouted Asuka, getting annoyed. Her shout startled the birds and they flew away while Vante and Sho backed away.

Vante smiled, sheepishly, "You're as forceful as ever…"

Junko frowned, "He's really just a weak boy."

Momoe smiled, "I'm sure Manjoume-san's different! He's such a cook guy!"

Vante and Sho made a face while Kaida and Nagisa shook their heads.

"I thought you said that Misawa-san was dreamy the other day?" said Junko before sighing, "You're just fine with anyone that's good-looking."

Momoe laughed, sheepishly.

That's when Asuka and Kaida spotted something move at a nearby bush. Asuka pointed, "There! Something made that bush move just now!"

True to Asuka's words, a large bush that was nearby started to move again.

"Is it Manjoume-kun?" wondered Sho.

"Let's find out," said Vante, walking over to the bush, "Hey, is that you, Manjoume? If it is then stop hiding and let's head…"

Suddenly, a shadow figure jumped out from the bush – it was a monkey wearing a metal suit of armor. As Vante and the others freaked out, the monkey jumped at them before grabbing Junko and runs off to the trees.

Vante and the others were on the ground with confused expressions.

"W-What was…" said Asuka.

"I think…it was a monkey…" said Sho.

"Why is there a freaking monkey doing here?!" shouted Vante and Nagisa.

That's when three men wearing business suits appear from the trees and one of them was holding a gun. Quickly, Vante and the others got up from the ground.

"Who the hell are you three?" questioned Kaida.

"Did it escape?" said the guard, ignoring Kaida's question.

Kaida was about to snap at them when they heard screaming for help from the forest. Kaida and the others were looking around and noticed someone was missing.

"Junko-san! Where are you?" asked Mome.

Asuka sighed, "She can't answer you, Momoe. Since that monkey carried her off…somewhere."

"Shouldn't we be looking for her instead of standing here doing nothing?" said Nagisa. Meanwhile, the monkey was jumping to tree branch to tree branch while Junko was continuing screaming for help.

"It's over there!" said second bodyguard, hearing Junko's screaming.

"Quickly! Go and catch it!" said the elder man. The three men ran off to the forest, following the screams of Junko.

"W-What's going on?" asked Sho.

"I don't know, mate, but we do need to save Junko – come on, before we lose them!" said Vante. He and others ran after the three mysterious suited men into the forest.

The monkey stopped and placed Jasmine on a tree that was growing out from a cliff side. Junko stopped screaming and looked down to see where she was and spotted the waves clashing the rocks below. She turned around and holds onto the monkey, tightly.

"It can't escape anymore!" said the guard as the three men came out of the forest.

"If you don't want to be shot by the tranquilizer, come back to us – quietly!" ordered second bodyguard, aiming the gun at him.

Vante and the others came rushing out of the forest as well.

"H-Help me, Asuka-san!" shouted Junko, upon seeing her friends.

"Hey! What about us!" snapped Nagisa.

"I can't believe it took a hostage so brazenly like that…" stated the guard.

"What I like to know is – who the hell you people are?!" snapped Kaida.

"Vante-kun, that monkey's wearing a duel disk!" pointed out Sho.

"That isn't just a mere monkey!" said the elder man, addressing to Vante and the others. "This is the dueling monkey that we've been putting a lot effort into training!"

"Dueling…monkey?" said Vante.

"Right, and its name stands for 'Super Animal Learning', or SAL for short," said the elder.

Nagisa frowned, "Doesn't look that strong…"

"Doctor…top secret, remember," whispered second guard.

"Oh, right, slip of the tongue," said the doctor.

Vante had a smirk, but was he was about to step in, Nagisa pushed him aside. She placed her hands on her hips, "Hold it!"

"What do you want girl? Can't you see we're busy," said the doctor.

Nagisa ignored the elder doctor and walked close to the monkey. She shouted, "Hey SAL! What do you say to settle things in a duel?"

Momoe titled her head, "Is she really going to duel that monkey?"

Vante pouted, "No fair! I was going to do that!"

"You're too slow!" Nagisa sang before turning her attention to SAL, "If I win, you'll release Junko!"

"A-And if you lose?" asked Junko, nervously while SAL was holding her still.

"I don't know…I guess he can do what he wants," said Nagisa.

"No way! What's the point in that?! Asuka-san!" whined Junko.

"Will you stop calling her?!" snapped Nagisa.

SAL stared at Nagisa before nodding. He placed Junko a bit farther to the tree where she holds onto a branch. SAL jumped to a nearby rock and activated his duel disk.

"He accepted the duel," said Asuka.

"But how can the monkey understand Nagisa-san?" wondered Momoe.

"I'm sure he can understand human speech since he can duel," answered Asuka.

"It released the hostage!" said second guard. He was about to fire the tranquilizer when the doctor stopped him.

"Wait. We may just get interesting data, so let them do this," said the doctor.

"Right, let's duel!" said Nagisa, activating her duel disk.

"Duel! Duel!" shouted SAL. Nagisa and the others were shocked to hear the monkey speak while the doctor was laughing.

"It 'speaks' through the headset. And all of the dueling terminology has been programmed into it," explained the doctor.

Nagisa: 4000
SAL: 4000

"Ladies first – draw!" said Nagisa. "I'm summoning Ebon Magician Curran (1200/0) in attack mode and set two cards. I end my turn. Your turn SAL!"

"Hurry and save me!" shouted Junko.

"Will you cool it?! The duel just freaking start it!" snapped Nagisa.

Vante made a face, "No offence, but Junko can be so annoying. How can you deal with her?"

"She can be, but Junko's a good friend. Trust me," assured Asuka while Momoe was glaring at Vante, angrily.

"Don't worry, Junko-san! Nagisa-san will beat him and you'll be saved!" shouted Sho.

"That's only if she does, though…: murmured Momoe.

"It's my turn! Draw! I summon Berserk Gorilla (2000/1000)!" said SAL.

"2000 attack points already?!" said Nagisa.

"Berserk Gorilla attack Ebon!" ordered SAL. The muscle gorilla hit his chest before charging towards the small magician.

"Don't think so! I activate the trap card, Negate Attack! This stops your beast in his tracks!" said Nagisa as a barrier protected Ebon.

"…I set a reversed card and end my turn," said SAL.

"My turn and first off, Ebon's effect activates! She inflicts 300 points of damage!" said Nagisa. The small magician girl hits the monkey with her whip.

Nagisa: 4000
SAL: 4000 – 300 = 3700

"Next, I activate the trap card, A Rival Appears! This allows me to select a monster from your field and I can special summon a monster from my hand that has the same level as the selected monster I chose," said Nagisa.

"That means she can summon a level 4 monster, but would it be strong enough to beat that gorilla?" said Sho.

"Let's see what she's going to do," said Asuka.

"Since you only have a level 4 monster then I can special summon Familiar Possessed – Hiita (1850/1500)! Then, I equip the spell card, Book of Secret Arts to Hiita, increasing her attack and defense by 300," said Nagisa.

Familiar Possessed – Hiita (1850 + 300 = 2150/1500 + 300 = 1800)

"Awesome! Now her monster can beat that gorilla!" said Sho.

"Her spellcaster deck is built to face almost any type of deck. Her father made sure of that," said Vante.

"Her father?" said Momoe.

"Lastly, I summon Element Magician (1500/1200)," said Nagisa. "Go Hiita, attack Berserk Gorilla!"

Hiita pointed her flaming staff and her flaming fox dashed forward to the gorilla, burning and destroying it. SAL loses 150 life points.

Nagisa: 4000
SAL: 3700 – 150 = 3550

"Can't have Hiita all the fun? Go Ebon and Element Magician, direct attack!" ordered Nagisa. The two spellcasters casted their spells and hit the monkey. SAL screamed and fell to his knees after the combo attack.

Nagisa: 4000
SAL: 3550 – 2700 = 850

"Is he alright? He's not worn out already?" wondered Nagisa.

"Well, you did blow out a large amount of his life points," Asuka pointed out.

Nagisa made a face, "Oh right…"

"Just surrender and release Junko-san!" shouted Sho.

The doctor laughed, "Don't underestimate him. He'll get better for every passing turn. Monkeys are for intelligent than humans so we use monkeys for our dueling experiments."

"Dueling experiments?" said Kaida, 'Does my father know about this?'

"Doctor!" warned the guard.

"Oh right, forget what I just said," said the doctor.

"It's my turn – draw! I summon Acrobat Monkey (1000/1800)," said SAL as a dress suited monkey appeared on his field. "Next, I activate the trap card, DNA surgery."

Nagisa blinked her eyes, "DNA surgery…that's sounds awfully familiar…"

Kaida sighed, "You should be. You saw that card last summer."

Vante smirked, "That trap card can change all monsters' types to one you choose."

Nagisa paled, "Oh shot…"

"Beast type! Beast type!" said SAL as the monsters on the field changed into beasts.

Nagisa screamed in terror as her magicians grow fur, claws and a long tail. The magic card, Book of Arts was destroyed and Hitta's attack and defense return to normal.

"Next, the magic card, Wild Nature's Release!" said SAL.

Asuka widened her eyes, "If memory service me, that card raises that attack of one face-up beast type or beast warrior type monster on the field by the amount equal to that monster's defense."

"T-Then that means…" said Sho.

"Acrobat Monkey! I pick Acrobat Monkey!" said SAL. The former machine monkey's muscles started to grow and hit his chest.

Acrobat Monkey (1000 + 1800 = 2800/1800)

"2800?!" said Sho, nervously.

"Not good. None of Nagisa's monsters can withstand this attack," said Asuka.

"Acrobat Monkey attack! Attack Ooki!" ordered SAL. The former machine monkey attacked Ebon, destroying it and Nagisa loses 1600 life points.

Nagisa: 4000 – 1600 = 2400
SAL: 850

Suddenly, after the attack, Acrobat Monkey was destroyed.

"Huh? What just happened?" wondered Sho.

"The monster affected by Wild Nature's Release is destroyed the same turn," explained Asuka.

Vante smirked, "And the biggest mistake he made."

"What do you mean?" asked Sho.

"SAL's wide open for a direct attack," said Vante, grinning. Sho and Mome widen their eyes while Asuka shook her head.

"My turn – draw!" said Nagisa, looking serious. "This is what you get for changing my Spellcasters and – for ruining my hair back at the forest! Go Hiita, end this – Huh?"

Nagisa and the others turned to see a bunch of monkeys, hiding behind a large boulder.

"Bloody hell! That's a lot of monkeys!" said Vante.

"Are they going to attack?" asked Momoe, nervously.

"No…I don't think so," replied Kaida. That's when she noticed the sad expressions on the monkey's faces. Kaida's face softens, "You came to see your family and friends. You missed them, right SAL?"

SAL nodded.

"So, like he wanted to go back to his friends," said Momoe.

"But if Nagisa-san wins, he'll go back to that research lab," said Sho, sadly.

"Kinda feel sorry for him," murmured Vante.

"I know, but we can't just leave Junko there," said Asuka.

"If we let this monkey go back to his friends, we can't save Junko-san. If we save Junko-san, that monkey can't go back to his friends," said Sho before ruffling his hair, "Ah man, what should we do?"

Nagisa sighed, "…sorry SAL. Once a duel's started, we can't hold back, no matter the reason – Go Hiita, end this duel!"

The beast like Hiita points her flaming staff to SAL and her flaming fox dash towards SAL, surrounding him of a firewall.

Nagisa: 2400
SAL: 8500 – 1850 = 0

"Alright, a deal is a deal. Release Junko," said Nagisa.

SAL stared at Nagisa for a moment before walking over to Junko and picked her up. He placed Junko safely to the ground where she runs off to her friends.

"Junko-san, you're safe now," said Momoe, happily.

"Thanks for saving me, Nagisa-san, but…" said Junko before everyone glancing over at SAL, "The monkey's going back to the research lab, isn't he?"

Suddenly, the two guards pushed them aside and ran over to the monkey.

"Well done, girl. Leave the rest to us!"

Nagisa gritted her teeth and dashed in front of the guards. She blocks them, "Hold it! I said to release the hostage if I win the duel, but I didn't say he'll go back to the research lab if he loses!"

"That's right! SAL's going back to the forest with his mates!" said Vante.

"And if you do, I'll contract my father about this," threatened Kaida.

The two guards ignored Kaida's threat, pushing Nagisa aside and captured SAL with a net.

"As if your father can do anything to us," said the doctor. "No, if it wants to go back with its friends so much, then they'll be coming with us to the lab!"

"What?! Do you know who I am?!" snapped Kaida.

"Like I care, girl – capture them all the other monkeys!" ordered the doctor as the guard was ready to shot the other monkeys who were trying to hide behind the boulder and trees. The doctor chuckled, "We are short on animals to experiment on, after all."

Suddenly, Pharaoh came out of nowhere and scratched the guard with the tranquilizer gun who dropped it. That fat cant walked over to Daitokuji who picked him up.

"Great work, Pharaoh," praised Daitokuji.

"Daitokuji-sensei!"

Daitokuji walked in front of the three suited men, picking up the gun by kicking it upward to his free head.

"Who are you?" asked the doctor.

"Oh, just an animal lover like Miss Kaiba-san and her friends-nya," replied Daitokuji, smiling.

"K-Kaiba?! As in Seto Kaiba's daughter?!" said the doctor, nervously before looking over at a smug Kaida.

"And if this goes public, you'd be the embarrassed ones, wouldn't you-nya? You'll be charged with animal cruelty, you know," stated Daitokuji.

"And fired," murmured Kaida.

The doctor scientist gritted his teeth before he and his guards left, leaving SAL behind. Nagisa and the others took off the metal suit from SAL who was happy to be with his family and friends again. But for some odd reason, the monkey kept the duel disk.

"They look so happy," said Sho as Nagisa agreed.

"Thank goodness," said Junko, relived.

"I wonder what would've happened to us if Daitokuji-sensei didn't show up," said Momoe.

"Good question," murmured Kaida before pouting, "That old man didn't know who I was. Thanks for the rescue Sensei."

"Yes, thank you," said Asuka.

"Oh no, I didn't do anything. It was Pharaoh-nya," said Daitokuji.

"Smart cat you got there, Sensei," murmured Vante. "So, why did you come here, Sensei?"

"Oh, that's right. I found Manjoume-kun-nya," replied Daitokuji. Vante and the others gasped. He had his students follow him to the pier. "He left using his family's boat in the early morning."

"So that bastard hightailed out of here," said Vante.

"Manjoume-kun left the island…" said Sho.

"Manjoume-san…" murmured Momoe.

Kaida closed her eyes, "…he'll be back. You'll see."

Vante and the others looked at each other before nodding.
