guys, I really need some votes on the poll I made, as I am still not able to write the next chapter of another story until I have a straight answer as to what people like more. Pls vote for me.
Sadie's POV
After that image, we wondered how Uncle Amos managed to get out of there. And where Amos was taken.
Fortunately, the next dream gave me that answer. I saw Amanda with a knocked-out Kid Amos, who still had the cast on his leg. I had no idea where they were. The room they were in had a bunch of couches, a railing surrounding an obelisk, and a mini kitchen. The other girls were sitting in some couches.
They ran over upon seeing Amanda with Uncle Amos. She explained what happened, and the girls rolled their eyes upon hearing about what had happened with Julius.
"When talking to Amanda, always expect her to have chloroform or curare. Number one rule of being around her." Ariel said.
"Now what?" Fiona asked.
"Now, we keep him here, until his leg is completely healed." Amanda responded. "Now, Coraline, Dory, get him to bed in the infirmary. And make sure to place him in the bed with the straps."
"Ya know, I think Imma change my name to Diane at the rate we are going." Dory said.
They carried him to the room they were talking about. Kid Amos was beginning to wake up by the time he was in the room. He looked around confused, until Dory and Coraline placed him on the bed with the straps.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Amos asked as he began to freak out a little.
"Calm down. Not making it easy for you to hurt yourself anytime soon." Coraline stated as she held his arm down.
"I don't need to be tied down like a psychopath!"
"We know better than to believe that after the last time you were sick around us." Dory said, doing the straps up.
Kid Amos groaned, and watched as they tied down his uninjured leg, and got his leg up in a suspension like the kind they used in the hospital.
Coraline stroked his head as he fought against his restraints. She then left, and left Amos tied down. He gave up a half hour later.
I felt kind of sorry for him, but I didn't blame the girls for the method of keeping him in a resting position. After Amos was possessed by Set, we had noticed he hardly sat still, and often just walked around, despite our best attempts to get him to relax and lie down.
Amanda came, holding a try of syringes filled with some kind of mush.
Kid Amos seemed to know what the mush was.
"Amanda I am not a baby. I don't need that kind of feeding."
"Considering that you broke a leg, I will be feeding you my concoctions that will get you full on updated on nutrients and vitamins."
"But it tastes awful."
"I am improving the taste; you just need to behave."
She then went over, set the tray on his stomach. Kid Amos kept his mouth shut, obviously not a fan of these concoctions, but Amanda grabbed something and put it on a pressure point by his neck. His mouth was wide open in a second.
She then took a syringe from the tray and fed the substance to him. She removed the thing holding the pressure point, and he was able to close his mouth. He swallowed the mushy medicine.
"That... actually tasted good."
"Told you. Want more?"
"Fine."
Kid Amos opened his mouth, swallowing the rest of the syringe mush.
She then took the tray away, and then fed him some ham, which he ate quickly.
Then, she grabbed a syringe nearby, and gave him a small dose of whatever was in it. His eyes began to droop, but he didn't resist. I watched as he drifted off into a deep sleep.
I watched her walk away after tucking Kid Amos in and locking the straps holding him in place.
The dream shifted to Dad standing in the Hall of Ages. Desjardins and Iskander stood, watching him explain how he lost Kid Amos.
"So let me get this straight: Amos was injured when you two went to see what the scream was about, and when you took him to the hospital, his cousin caught up and gave you a dose of curare, and teleported him and herself away?" Desjardins asked.
"That is correct, unfortunately." Dad said.
"I am uncertain if I am mad or impressed."
"What do we do?"
"We figure out where Amos is, and rescue him."
"How do we do that?"
"Easy, we project our Bas to his side." Iskander said.
"Um, I don't know how that works, or how to do it." Dad said.
"I will do it." Desjardins said.
He then left, and went to his room, and began to concentrate.
I saw his Ba leaving his body. He managed to get to the Rocky Mountains, where a building that looked like a giant pipe and fort mixed together was.
Kid Amos was being fed actual food by Esperanza and was still tied down. Fiona waltzed into the room in that moment, and grabbed Kid Amos by the face.
"Listen up: if you behave, we may untie you when you have supervision. Kapeesh?" Fiona said, forcing Kid Amos to look at her.
"Kapeesh. Can you do it now?"
She then unstrapped him, and left him with Esperanza to finish his feeding.
Desjardins went back to his body.
