Welce back to The Injustice Wars. Last time the Legion arrived on scene at Stryker's Island, setting up shop for preventing the Regime from breaking out Superman. Most of the group manned the walls, while two smaller teams split off. One ended up in the generator room to protect it from Black Adam where they ran into Black Canary and Green Lantern. Meanwhile Blaze led the other team to Superman's containment cell, confronting Blue Beetle, Firestorm, and Harley Quinn. A siege is imminent, we know that much. So how is it all going to go down? Read on to discover...

(Our story resumes aboard Black Manta's submarine, where the seafaring villain is observing the waters surrounding Stryker's Island. And just as he settles into a routine, an alert goes up on the sonar. Immediately he rushes over to the panel, pulling up a camera display for that side and sees an army of sea creatures mobilizing under Aquaman's command)

Black Manta: It has begun.

(Seeing the invaders approaching, Black Manta immediately opens up communication channels, specifically to Leroy, representing the team on the wall)

Leroy: What's going on?

Black Manta: Eyes to the water, dragon. We've got incoming. I'm going to contact Blaze, you all get ready.

(At this point, we transition over to Leroy's position and we see the water is starting to bubble from the forces beneath it.)

Leroy: (Seeing this) Thanks for the warning. (Hangs up) Everybody get ready! It's about to hit the fan!

(And with that, Aquaman rises out of the sea on some sort of giant crustacean like creature, an army of smaller versions of it following in the wake)

Leroy: It's really hit the fan now...

(And just like that, we transition into Superman's containment area, where Blaze is taking a message from Black Manta)

Blaze: They're already here?!

Black Manta: I've already alerted the wall, and I'm about to go in and start firing myself if you want to take a look.

Blaze: I believe you.

Black Manta: Then get ready for the worst.

(As Black Manta hangs up, we can see Superman has been watching the entire call)

Superman: I don't know how you could ever trust Black Manta.

Blaze: The same way you trusted Sinestro and Bane. Cautiously.

Superman: So you did learn something from me.

Blue Beetle: Watch it, Not-So-Superman.

Flash: So, what're we thinking their plan is?

Blaze: Diana did always favor bold action, so she's probably coming to get Superman herself. And likely alone.

Supergirl: And we know Black Adam's going for the generator.

Spyro: So where do Cyborg and Robin fit in?

(And just like that, a voice can be heard from the rafters, one known for its obnoxious quality)

Robin: Oh, that's quite simple. (Drops down from the ceiling and brandishes his sword) I'm here to clear the way.

Blaze: Just you, against all of us? You must realize this is suicide.

Robin: Not when I can kill you in 18 different ways.

Blaze: Very well then. Your funeral, Bat-Brat.

(As this battle is about to begin, we transition to downstairs in the generator room, where Shade is getting the warning from Black Manta as well)

Shade: Copy that, Manta. We're ready to go.

Green Lantern: You honestly trust that guy?

Shade: He knows how to fight against Aquaman, so he proves quite invaluable.

Black Canary: Not sure how Batman is going to react to that

Shade: We really don't give a damn about what the Bat thinks. Now focus. If anything, we need to be prepared for Black Adam's inevitable arrival.

(And just as Shade says anything, a storm erupts as Black Adam emerges in the stage)

Black Adam: The only inevitability you will face, is your own death.

Red Hood: How corny can you get?

Shade: Keep him away from the generators at all costs.

(Now the battle begins. The dragons and Black Adam are going at it with backup from Red Hood. After a few minutes of back and forth, Black Adam is knocked back and attempts an electrical attack, only for it to be neutralized by Black Lightning and Blitz, who afterwards provides a charge able to send Black Adam flying into a rack construct generated by Green Lantern)

Green Lantern: That was... surprisingly easy.

Blitz: Too easy.

Black Canary: I'm with the dragon on this one.

Green Arrow: You and me both, pretty bird. (Draws an arrow and aims it at Black Adam.) What's the deal, Adam? You've never been this easy to beat.

Black Adam: (Chuckles menacingly) Did you really think we would be so obvious in our plan?

(And just as Black Adam says this, a blast of energy emerges from the background, knocking Green Lantern to the ground as Cyborg emerges)

Cyborg: Diana figured you'd be down here. So she sent some backup.

Blitz: Victor Stone. I figured you'd be up hacking the main control panel on Superman's cell.

Cyborg: Too obvious. (Powers up his sonic cannon) Besides, I still owe the girl for hacking me.

Blitz: Good, looks like I'll get to shut your eye down permanently this time.

(Now the battle begins, with Cyborg attempting to fire on Blitz with his sonic cannon, only to be met with resistance by Black Canary's sonic cry. After a few seconds of this, Black Canary is taken down, and Twirl steps up to the plate, blowing Cyborg around a bit)

Twirl: Hands off my girlfriend, Regime scum.

Cyborg: (Getting back up with a smirk on his face) Nice hit.

Shade: I wouldn't be so confident if I were you, since you're the ones on the ground.

Cyborg: Who said that stopped us?

(With that, Blitz notices something in Cyborg's mechanical eye.)

Blitz: You've got to be kidding me.

Cyborg: It's already done. The High Councilor is about to be let loose

Shade: We've got to get upstairs. Now!

(With that the group rushes upstairs, ending our tale for today)

And that looks like a good spot to end for today. A nice climactic cliff hanger. Clearly Cyborg hacked something, but what? I'll say this, tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
