This is Part II of the Labor Day Special. Last time, the Regime's attack began. Robin appeared to Blaze's team ready to fight, but our main action was down in the generator room, where Black Adam indeed tried to shock the generators out of commission, only to be stopped by Shade and his team, revealing he was a distraction for Cyborg to hack... something. But what? Today, we find out. So with that, read on to discover the truth!

(Our story resumes back in Superman's containment cell, where Blaze and her team are staring down Robin, ready to fight.)

Robin: Well then, who's going to make the first move?

Blaze: Your move, Bat-Brat.

Robin: Well then, gladly.

(And with that, the battle begins, Robin making the first move, attempting to slash at Blaze. But she's familiar with his movements by this point, so she side-swipes him with her tail, taking him to the floor. But having been trained by the League of Assassins, Robin gets right back up and starts fighting back even harder, swinging his sword with almost reckless abandon, only to keep getting tripped up by the Flash and Supergirl. As the Bat-Brat starts getting his face beaten in, Blaze notices something about this whole thing)

Blaze: You're holding back.

(At this point, Robin realizes Blaze is on to him and just chuckles,)

Robin: I wondered when you would catch on.

(With that, Robin flips around and kicks Blaze in the neck, sending her straight into the path of a pair of familiar armored boots walking into the scene. As she slides to a stop, Blaze looks up and realizes Wonder Woman has arrived)

Wonder Woman: Damian was nice enough to save you for me.

(Her intentions known, Wonder Woman kicks Blaze in the head, sending her flying back against Superman's containment cell. But ultimately, she does get up from this, spitting out a bit of blood and a fragment of one of her fangs as Wonder Woman draws her sword)

Blaze: Surprised you're focusing on me rather than Cynder.

Wonder Woman: The usurper is next on my list. But since you've become the biggest thorn in our sides recently, it only makes sense to take you out first.

Blaze: I'll be fair and warn you, though you hardly deserve it, I'm not the same girl you knew all those years ago.

Wonder Woman: Show me then.

(Just as Blaze gets up, we see she's immediately joined by Firestorm, Blue Beetle, and Harley Quinn)

Wonder Woman: Even now you refuse single combat. I expected nothing less from you.

Blue Beetle: She's got nothing to prove to you.

Wonder Woman: (Seeing Blaze's reinforcements) Unbelievable. Bruce sends children against me?

Blaze: Seems a little hypocritical coming from you, seeing Damian over there.

Firestorm: We punch above our weight class.

Wonder Woman: (Drawing her sword) We shall see.

(With that, the battle begins. Blaze immediately starts engaging Wonder Woman in near single combat, with aid from Firestorm, Blue Beetle, and Harley Quinn as she goes. But after a few minutes, Blaze signals it's time for the final strike. Blue Beetle manifests a weapon from his suit that fires what looks like energy handcuffs, but in reality are leg braces that hold Wonder Woman to the ground by emitting graviton particles. Harley Quinn then rushes in with her mallet, knocking Wonder Woman's shield away. Wonder Woman attempts to fight back with her sword, only for Firestorm to transmute the blade into melted butter, for some reason. With both of her primary weapons out of the way, Blaze is able to storm in and start kicking the heck of out Wonder Woman, and just as the charge in Blue Beetle's launched leg braces dies, she tail thwacks Wonder Woman into Robin, who has just exposed his position in the fight with the rest of the group, knocking both of them to the ground)

Blaze: (To Blue Beetle and Firestorm) Nice work, you two. I see definite potential in you.

Blue Beetle: (To Firestorm) Dude, we just got an endorsement from the dragons!

Firestorm: It's official, we rule.

(As the two fist bump we see Spyro and Cynder have already bound up Wonder Woman and Robin, but Blaze still seems uncertain of their victory)

Blaze: I've said it before and I'll say it again, that was too easy.

Harley Quinn: If that was easy, then I don't want to know what your idea of hard is.

Blaze: I mean, Diana's probably been spying on all of you for weeks from Kahndaq. How she didn't know what these two were capable of is beyond me. There's got to be something we're missing.

(With that, Shade and his team come running up from downstairs, clearly in a panic, followed closely by Green Lantern and Black Canary)

Supergirl: What're you guys doing here? I thought you were protecting the generators from Black Adam.

Shade: He did try to attack the generators, and we stopped him, but so did Cyborg.

Flash: Victor's here too?!

Blitz: He's been dealt with, but not before he could hack into something. We couldn't figure out what, but came up here to warn you.

(Just as Blaze looks like she's about to say something, the red sun lamps restraining Superman's powers shut down, and after about a second or two power back up, only this time, they're glowing yellow, something that catches everybody's attention)

Blaze: (Seeing the lamps) He hacked the sun lamps!

(As yellow solar radiation starts flooding his containment cell, Superman slowly starts to float above the edge of his cell, his powers returning to him. After a few seconds of powering up, Superman starts punching the wall of his cell, attempting to break it)

Blaze: Firestorm, transmute that material into something stronger!

Firestorm: I can only transmute something if I know the chemical formula of what I'm transmuting it into! And I don't know the formula for anything stronger than that material!

Blaze: Then we need to prepare for the fight of our lives.

(And with that, the inevitable happens. Superman's full strength returns to him, and he breaks through the cell holding him. And from there he just proceeds to wreck shop, taking out just about everyone in only a few moves, even after the team on the wall, led by Leroy and the Atom, pours in to provide backup, before grabbing Blaze by the throat)

Superman: The last time you were in my world, you lost the one you loved most. (Grabs her head) Allow me to reunite you.

(His intention known, Superman starts squeezing Blaze's head, slowly, fully intending to crush her skull. A little bit of blood starts to drip from her head, landing on the floor and puddling as Superman squeezes tighter. Seeing he's the only one left in a position to do anything, Firestorm looks at the situation)

Firestorm: There's only one chance to stop this.

(And with that, Firestorm charges up his powers, channeling intense thermonuclear energy between his palms, catching the eye, and the terror, of Blue Beetle)

Blue Beetle: Jesucristo, Jason! Are you crazy?! You're going to nuke us!

Firestorm: (Struggling to contain the power) This... is the only way... to stop Superman!

(The situation seems hopeless, but just as Firestorm's about to detonate, a chunk of metal flies out of the ceiling, a bat-shaped hunk of metal, signalling the emergence of Batman)

Batman: Firestorm, stand down!

(Seeing his faction leader has arrived, Firestorm tones down the energy and discharges what he's stored up at Superman, causing him to drop Blaze, having barely broken the skin of her head somehow.)

Superman: (Seeing Batman has arrived) I have no quarrel with you, Bruce.

Batman: You know I can't let you walk out of here.

Superman: (Firing up his heat vision) I don't need to walk out of here.

(With that, Superman fires his heat vision at Wonder Woman and Robin, breaking their bonds)

Wonder Woman: Damian, retrieve Cyborg and Adam.

(With the order given, Damian leaves, just as Aquaman enters, catching Superman by surprise)

Superman: I'm surprised you chose to stick with us

Aquaman: Considering the alternative was destruction by Brainiac, there wasn't much choice.

Superman: So that's who we're dealing with. Well, the time has come for us to do what we do best. Protect this world. (To Batman) Unlike you. (To his comrades) Let's go.

(With that, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman are about to leave, but Batman is just about to stop them, he stops. For some reason he hesitates, allowing Blaze to wake up and see that Superman is gone with Batman just standing there.)

Blaze: (Weakly) You let him go?!

Batman: (Angrily) We need to talk about your little plan.

(And on this moment of confrontation, the scene ends)

This concludes Part II of the Labor Day Special. For Part III, head on over to Dragons Plus Phoenix. So it looks like we're about to enter an apocalyptic scenario, with both Brainiac and Superman on the loose. Especially not good since Blaze nearly died.
