This is Part II of the Veteran's Day Special. Last time, Batman called the Legion back in to figure out what the heck happened to Brother Eye. But just as Blaze and co start arguing with Batman again, the same force tries to get into the Oracle system, sending a message. On orders from Blaze, Batgirl sends it through, revealing a message from Darkblood, the appearance of which catches everyone off guard, particularly Blaze with his resemblance to Dragnarok. So, what's going to happen here? What does Darkblood want? Read on to discover...

(Our story resumes exactly where it left off, the entire Element Guard looking at the Oracle system's screen in shock as the group sees exactly what Blaze sees in the visage of Darkblood)

Blaze: D...D...Drago?

(Hearing this familiar pet name, Darkblood looks in Blaze's direction and sees something familiar in her, but within seconds the familiarity is lost and something else takes its place)

Darkblood: My my my... a fine specimen indeed. (Letting out a perverse growl) Perfection given form. Have we met?

Ember: (Clearly not liking this guy flirting with her daughter) Just state your purpose, whoever you are!

Darkblood: Ah, of course. How rude of me, I should've introduced myself first.

Flame: So kindly do so, you pervert.

Darkblood: Very well then. I am Darkblood, but you may address me as the New Dark Master.

Batman: Enough posturing. Return Brother Eye.

Darkblood: (Looking at Batman with familiar disgust) Just like what I've heard of you. Straight to the point and dull as hell. And I'm afraid Brother Eye won't be returning to you any time soon. It is now an extension of my will. (To an unseen individual) Isn't that correct, Brother Eye?

Brother Eye: Affirmative, my lord.

Darkblood: Exactly. Now then, if there are no further interruptions, I will pick up where I left off. Now then, where was I? Ah yes. (Assuming a menacing pose) Listen well, all of you. As you have no doubt noticed, this world has now fallen into the control of it's new master. You are advised to direct your prayers to your new Dark Master immediately, lest I have to utterly destroy you.

Flash: Like hell we're doing that. This world just got out of the hands of one tyrant, we're not letting it fall into the hands of another.

Darkblood: (Recognizing Flash) Ah yes, Barry Allen, the Scarlet Speedster, disgraced hero of Central City. I had a feeling you would be involved in this. Be aware then, this arrogance will cost you dearly.

(At this point, Enchantress steps into the frame of the message, hands blazing with green magic)

Darkblood: This was your only warning. For this act of rebellion, you shall feel the wrath of my new Empire. (Looking back at Blaze) I'll be seeing you on the field of battle, my little dreamsicle.

(And with that, the transmission cuts out, but still leaving the Element Guard completely caught off guard by who Darkblood is, particularly Blaze after hearing that last line.)

Green Arrow: I guess that's our third threat, just like Doctor Fate warned.

Flash: Though what about the unexpected part? I would've guessed Enchantress would be one of the leaders.

Blaze: It's him...

(At this point, the DC characters in the room turn to Blaze, completely caught off guard that she recognizes this figure)

Supergirl: Wait, you know who that is?

Blaze: I don't want to believe it, but it's him.

Flash: Who is it?

Blaze: I don't know how, but... it's Drago.

(Ember and Flame look at their daughter, completely surprised, but then look to the rest of the Element Guard, as well as their old friends Spyro and Cynder, and the look on their faces confirms that Blaze is right)

Batman: That can't be true. Dragnarok is dead.

Blaze: I know those eyes, Bruce. He even called me by Drago's old pet name for me. It's him. I don't know how, but it's him...

(At this point, the entire group just looks at each other completely stunned at who this Darkblood character really is. As this reveal sets in, we transition forward in time to see Blaze writing in her journal again, still shaken by what is going on here. The entry reads as follows:)

"This can't be. There's no way that thing is Drago. But yet... he knew things nobody but Drago could've known. Nobody else calls me their "little dreamsicle". That was always Drago, since my scales reminded him of that particular ice cream treat, his favorite. The runes that signaled his transmission, Drago was a scholar of Ancestral Runes in his spare time. And those eyes... I know those eyes. It couldn't be anyone else. But what was that darkness behind them? Did Malefor possess him or something? That would explain this whole "New Dark Master" business. But how did they get co-mingled? And I wonder, did this "Enchantress" that Barry identified from the transmission have anything to do with this? And I will say this, if she did do this to my Drago, that bitch will pay."

(And as Blaze finishes her entry, our tale ends for today)
