A/N: This is Just a quick break in the story to explain how Saki became what she is in the current story. Also, just to remind you this does not follow the anime perfectly. This is an AU.

When I was about 4

"Saki can you go get ready for school like a good girl because today is your first day of kinder garden." My mom asked in her 'kind' tone as she held me in her arms. When I was little, I had no idea of what was waiting for me in a few years.

"Ok mama but I have a quastion first." I replied as my mother put me down on to the floor.

"What is it dear?" mom asked as she started to make my lunch for the day. God now I think back on it I was really a momma's girl when I was 4/5.

"Why dose you smell weird, mama?" I asked like the four-year-old I was at the time. If I smelled that smell now, I would instantly know it but I guess I have my childhood to thank for that.

"Oh well... you see mama has been quite busy recently and did something bad last night by having a drink or two of something bad." Mother said trying to keep it as child friendly as she could. I don't know how many times I heard that when I was small.

"Ok mama." I yelled as I bounced up the stairs to get dressed.

In school

"Hello gween and bwond haired boys. I'm Saki Natsume but you can call me Saki. What is your name's?" I asked as I walked over to two boys my own age.

"Hello, I'm Katsuki Bakugo but you can call me kat if you like, he calls me kacchan Tho." Kat yelled as he pointed to the green one. That yell is what I learned to know as his normal indoor voice.

"Hi, I'm Izuku Midoriya." Midoriya replied with a small laugh at Kats answer.

"Can I call you Izu-Chan instead please?" I questioned the small green boy. I was taller than both of them back then as well.

"Sure, you can. I would like that!" Exclaimed Izu-Chan as he jumped up to hug me. Izuku has always liked hugs since back then, to this very day.

"I hope we can be the best of friends." I Yelled as I broke Izu's hug.

"Yeh!" My new best friends yelled back. We always had fun back then before Katsuki got his quirk and became a bully to Izuku when he didn't get one.

A few months later. We are now all about 5.

My mom drank a lot and I didn't like that one bit but when I brought it up, she would ignore it. So, I learned to not ask as much from a young age. Mine and Kat's quirks developed on the same day which was a Saturday and Izu was sick that day so he wasn't with us. Katsuki and I were playing in the park with his mom watching us as we played hero. I said " Kat freeze" and well he did. I said the opposite and he unfroze. Then he put his palms up and little sparks flew out.

"MOM, MOM!" Katsuki yelled as we ran over to Mitsuki in a small panic. His mom was always kind to me and Izuku.

"Is something wrong Saki?" She asked me as both me and Kat stopped in front of her. She use to ask me instead of her son because I would give her a straight answer instead of an all over the place answer like her son did and still does to this day.

"We got our quirks!" I screamed in happiness. That day was one of the best/worst days of my life.

"That is great! We need to bring you home to tell your mom Saki!" Mitsuki said rushing around in excitement at this fact. I loved her like another mom and she treated me like her own child which always made me happy.

"MOMMA... MOMMA GUESS WHAT HAPPENED WHILE I WAS PLAYING IN THE PARK WITH KAT TODAY!" I screamed as I run inside my house with my blond friend following close behind me. I was screaming the whole house down.

"What happened honey?" My mother asked as she came out of her bedroom. That smell is odd and it is coming from mama's room. It smelled like a man, but that is unlikely because daddy is in England. He told me yesterday when he called. Unless he lied to me.

"We got our quirks!" Kat and I yell together. Mom hadn't even noticed Katsuki behind me until that moment.

"Really! Thats amazing. Yuri come here our daughter got her quirk." Who was Yuri? Was he, my dad? I mean she did say our daughter, didn't she? I don't think he would lie to me tho.

"I'm coming Sakura!" This guy responded as he came out of mom's room.

"Hey little girl and little missy's friend." Yuri said as he stood next to momma.

"DADDY!" I yelled in absolute happiness. I hadn't seen him since I was 3 because he was busy with work.

"So, is this your dad Saki?" Kat asked in confusion. I had told both Katsuki and Izuku about my dad more than once in the past few months.

"Who is your friend Cupcake?" Dad asked not giving me enough time to answer Kat's question. Father's nickname for me was cupcake, he thinks that it sounds just as cute as I looked.

"I'm Katsuki Bakugo but Saki calls me Kat." Kat answered for me as I wasn't sure how he would want to be introduced to my dad.

"I also have another friend called Izuku Midoriya who I call Izu-chan for short but he's sick today." I followed on from where Katsuki left off.

"That's good but you two said you got your quirks earlier." My dad said in a 'kind' tone. I have been using quotation marks around the word kind when referring to my parents for a reason.

"So do you need to go to the doctor to find out what they are?" Mom asked offering to take Kat as well.

"Maybe." I answered shrugging as I did. How was I meant to know. I WAS 5 WOMEN; I WAS FIVE FOR GOD SAKE... FIVE I TELL YOU... FIVE!

"So yes. Mitsuki, would you like me to take Katsuki as well?" Mom said as she got her bag.

"Yes, please mainly because I think the kids would like that." Mitsuki responded to Mom as she glared Dad down like she didn't trust him one bit. God did I think she was so cool.

"Katsuki's quirk is explosion and Saki's is time manipulation." The nice doctor said looking at the results.

"Thank you very much doc." My mom said as we left the room to go home.

"I can't wait to tell Izu on Monday." I yelled as we got outside of the building.

Our 1st year in middle school

When we arrived to school that Monday after we got are quirks, we found out Izuku didn't have one. Kat did not take well to that and became mean to Izuku and eventually me for being friends with Izuku. Izuku got bullied a lot. I tried to help him but I also ended up getting slightly bullied because of it. To only make things worse my parents started to abuse me and mess with my mind. The kindness in their tone despaired and grew into hatred for me. I always got told if I'm not on top in everything I was nothing but a disappointment. My mom became an alcoholic and when she was drunk, she would hit me and so would dad. I do think dad manipulated her to do that to me. They would always tell me to use my quirk to make the cuts and bruises disappear. Their abuse did mess with my mind quite a bit but I hid it well enough. Though apparently, I didn't. I stopped calling Izuku and Katsuki be their nicknames when we started middle school.

"Young boy would you like my quirk?" The number 1 pro hero asked Izuku when we were walking home from school one day. The No.1 Hero is in front of me oh my god. Saki stays calm you can if you try.

"Who me?" My surprised curly-haired friend asked as he looked around to see if anyone else was around us. Ok even I could tell no one else was around and I wasn't even looking. Wait why was he just randomly talking about giving Izuku a quirk? Was that even possible?

"Well yes you young man. Is he ok?" All might whispered in my ear. Ok, so that just happened...he just whispered in my ear.

*sigh* "I ask myself that every day All Might." I responded with a sigh. I don't actually think he is ok but I couldn't say that out loud.

"YES, I WOULD LOVE THAT!" Izuku yelled in utter disbelief.

The rest of our first year of middle school was spent training. I helped Izuku with his training by healing any of his injuries and also got trained. To be honest I loved to be out of my house early but I hated when I had to go home to those monsters. They never stopped their abuse of me. They said it was the highlight of their day. I wished I could kill them but I know that would have made me a villain, so I never did. Then one day about a week or two after my 12th birthday something wonderful happened...

"Are you ok young Natsume you seem off today." My new coach asked me as we were warming up one morning. Was he catching on! I hope not. Should I lie to him or not?

"Ye... No not really but how could you tell?" I responded as I looked at the floor.

"You aren't as happy as normal. You are very hard to read as you can change your personality like the time." All Might admitted. People told me that a lot but I know why they did. It was because of how some peoples personalities are influenced by their quirks like mine.

"Saki why don't you talk to aunty about it wh..." Izuku started to say.

"NO!" I butted in before he could finish.

"Family problems?" Mr. I AM HERE asked sounding more concerned than a minute a go.

"Yes..." I mumbled as I explained. While I explained what had happened over the past few years with my parents (a)Izuku looked like he wanted to punch them in their faces. (b)All Might was angry as hell and (c)I started crying which was unusual for me.

"Do you mind if we come over after school today?" Izuku asked looking angry as all hell. Izuku has always been here for me and so had Dad Might, since we'd first met.

"You can come if you want." I said as I dried my eyes. What were they going to do? I really hoped they can put mother and father in jail for child abuse. That was the least of my problems when I got home that day.

Our morning training never really happened that morning but neither All Might nor Izuku could care less. When we got to school people could tell something was wrong with me as I wasn't smiling and laughing like the normal me. Katsuki asked me during lunch if I was ok which surprised me and All Might Jr. but I told him I'd explain it all another time. When school was over, we went to where we were meeting All Might and then went to my house.

"Are you ready kiddo?" All Might asked as he stopped outside of my house. Oh My God the No.1 hero is going into my home.

"Yes, just be quite so they don't hear you." I said as I opened the door to a, quite frankly, horrifying scene that no one wants to see when they are young or ever really.

"DAD WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!" I yelled as I ran inside to see dad standing over mom who was lying unconscious in a pool of her own blood with dad holding a blood covered knife. *crying* "HELP!"

"What happened to aunty Saki?!" The very concerned short green-haired boy shouted as he and All Might ran inside.

"Oh, you brought All Might cupcake? How cute!" Father said with a laugh that made shivers go up my spine.

"Young Midoriya take care of Natsume and I'll take care of him." All Might ordered as he passed me by.

"OK" Izuku answered as he walked towards me. I was ready to attack my father but Izuku stopped me by bringing me into a hug.

"Yo...you mo..mon...monster!" I yelled though broken sobs.

"Midoriya take her out of here and call the police!" My favorite hero instructed my bff.

The next day

"Are you ok honey?" Aunty questioned as she brought me lunch. After yesterday Izuku took me to his house so I could be safe with his mom while he was at school today. I was too traumatized to go.

"I don't know." I responded as I took the food. I just needed a hug from Izu-Chan right now.

"Is it ok if some people come ask you some questions later?" Inko asked me as she sat down next to me.

"Sure, I don't mind." I said acknowledging the question that was asked. I felt so numb, like I wasn't even really there with them.

"Great they said they will come around 4:30." Inko said as she left the room. Two guys came and asked me who I wanted to live with. They also told me that mom left me 100,000 euros. I told them I wanted to live alone in the same apartment complex as Inko and Izuku. I went back to school the next Monday with my normal attuited and Katsuki asked what happened. I told him "I will tell you one day". A few weeks later Bakugo started to bully Deku again when I went to the bathroom.

"Katsuki stop it!" I shouted as I ran towards him. They are at it again, of course.

"No one loves you. Aunty would probably die before she would love you!" Kat said as he hit Deku one more time.

*Quirk malfunctions* "KATSUKI DON'T SAY THAT ABOUT HER!" I yelled at the top of my lunges. Crap Saki calm down, control your quirk. *Bakugo turns into a child*.

"Oh crap." I whispered as I stopped in my tracks. Some people were staring at him. He was going to kill me unless he was too scared of me now. Oh, please let that be the case!

"Turn him back Saki!" Izuku exclaimed as he got up off the ground.

"Well, you see I have to wait at least 30 minutes before I can use my quirk again after a malfunction." I admitted sheepishly as I picked up baby Kat. He is so adorable.

"Great." Izuku sarcastically said as he followed me. We took advantage of our time with the baby Katsuki by... taking a lot of pictures. We lowkey spent the 30 minutes taking pictures and then I turned him back... unfortunately.

"Stop calling him Deku!" I ordered the Pomeranian once he was returned to full size.

"Ok Saki." Katsuki agreed with a scared tone as he backed away from me and that is why Katsuki became a little bit afraid of me.
