It has been a month since my last update and I didn't expect it would take me so long to get this update out so here's an extra chapter! This whole story's turning point with Esther took me months to come up with, but that part will be explained in ONE MORE CHAPTER I hope lol
Kai working his magic as the master of all illusions, does this man have any shame?
Two songs for this chapter are Possum Kingdom by Toadies and Dangerously in Love by Destiny's Child.
The theme of this chapter is that love can make you do, crazy, impulsive things. That's why the name of this chapter is Dangerously in love!
Mystic Falls 2013
Kai's POV
Kai still had Bonnie wrapped in his arms as his teleportation spell landed them back at his apartment. Bonnie turned around and returned his embrace with a small squeeze. God, she's actually touching me and she wants to! He felt like a giddy teen.
"Kai," she began. "That whole marriage thing was cute. We could've just taken all of those vampires out. You know that right?"
She pulled back to look at him.
"Damon's dead, that's a start. As for the rest of your traitor friends, I've got another surprise for them."
Kai's arms slid down her side to her waist. He paused his hands as his eyes studied Bonnie, now that he had a chance to really look into her eyes without her shooting emerald daggers at him. He regarded how gently and softly she gazed upon him, so warm and inviting. This is what it was like to be in Bonnie's world, one of Bonnie's people she'd do anything for. She'd probably die for him and kill for him. He wondered how much blood and mayhem he could coax her into, now that she was finally his. His witch wife, that is.
He'd manipulated her into performing a matrimony spell and tweaked it with an 'oh yeah' spell so that her memories of Damon were replaced with fond memories of Kai. There was no Damon in her world, at least not one she wasn't physically repulsed by. Her hatred for vampires was back in place as well as she didn't trust any of her vampire friends. Bonnie was fair game and Kai was the only one with access to her. All he needed to do was coax her memory and a new memory would form, making her agreeable. Life out of the prison world only seemed to get sweeter for him.
Still, he didn't want to move too fast or freak her out because she was under the impression that he has been her friend for the past few years, holding her down and he just killed the psycho who tortured her in the prison world. He'd also made it so that in case he or any other supernatural tries to lay claim to her, she will physically, emotionally, and mentally reject them. No vampire or witch could bypass that. Sweet! He wondered how long it'd take her to want to physically express her desire for him.
"Kai? You still with me?" Bonnie asked, snapping her fingers in front of his face.
"Sorry, what?"
"Ok, you've been hella distracted lately. What's going on?"
"Nothing, I'm just enjoying your presence. And the feel of you against my hands."
Bonnie squirmed and pushed his hands off of her. "Stop, be serious. I'm not really your wife, that was only an illusion to get that psycho off my back. What have you got to eat around here? Besides strawberry jam?"
She strolled away from Kai into the kitchen and Kai was quickly on her heels, his heart having fallen at the loss of physical contact.
"I am always serious about you, Bonnie." He said in her ear. "I've got some leftover Chinese food. Sit down, I'll heat it."
He went to the fridge, handed her a beer, and began rummaging through its contents.
"What the hell. This is new. Kai, I don't have any tattoos. I don't know where this came from." Bonnie held up her left ring finger, which had a black ink tribal-looking tattoo.
Kai came over to inspect it. "Hmm, that's weird. Is there anything else?"
"I dunno."
Bonnie removed her blazer to reveal a nearly backless tank, and started examining her arms and her stomach. With her back towards Kai, she asked "Do you see anything?"
Kai sucked in his breath at Bonnie's perfectly toned back.
"No, looks perfect to me," he spoke in a gravelly voice and reached out his fingers to stroke down her backside. She scowled and jerked out of his reach, pulling her blazer back on.
"Easy now."
Kai smirked his signature smirk as Bonnie strolled back into his living room to his bookshelf. It was filled with his family's collection of spellbooks.
"I'm going to go check your grimoires, something might have went wrong with your spell. It was supposed to restore Damon's humanity, I don't know why there's ink on me."
She grabbed a few and headed to the table in the dining room.
Kai groaned. "What's the point, he's dead. Let's just take out the rest of the vamps and blow this po-dunk town."
"Quiet while I'm studying, please."
Kai plated the Chinese food for Bonnie, grabbed a fresh bag of pork rinds for himself, and joined her at the table.
"Find anything yet?" He asked as he opened his bag.
"It's a matrimony tattoo. That explains why it's on my ring finger."
Kai was about to pop a pork rind in his mouth when Bonnie snatched his hand.
"Hey get your own-"
"Shut up! Kai, you have the corresponding tattoo! You were serious?! You really bound us in matrimony?"
Kai gave her a mischievous smile. "Oh about that. I was gonna tell you…"
"You little weasel!" Bonnie squeaked as she th. "I thought that was a joke! Why would you do this?" Bonnie demanded, eyes drilling holes into his soul. She grabbed his pork rinds and threw them to the floor.
"That is how serious I am about you, Bonnie. I told you, we're supernaturally married." He waggled his tattooed finger, amusement scorching through him as Bonnie's eyes grew into saucers. "No vampire or witch, any supernatural can ever come near you again or claim you as their mate. It'll keep you safe !"
"Are you fucking kidding me? Please tell me this is a fucking joke?" Bonnie yelled. Kai could tell in her voice she knew deep down it wasn't. "Why?!"
"Because I fucking love you. I just made it so that no one can touch you without me knowing, and if those sick fucks even try to go after you, I will know, and I will kill them all!"
Kai stood up quickly, his voice rising. Bonnie rose to her feet as well.
Kai took a breath, attempting to calm himself. She seemed downright angry that she and Kai were officially official. It was a blow to his pride at how disgusted she was acting, after all he'd had to do to get them to this point. He reasoned that Bonnie was just having a tough day which was making her seem ungrateful. He would need to be patient with her.
"You're an idiot, he's going to kill you, Kai! I won't be able to stop him…"
Kai's eyes narrowed as he advanced on Bonnie. "What the hell are you talking about?"
Bonnie glared. "You know damn well who I'm talking about."
Kai towered over her now, his patience running dangerously thin. He gripped her shoulders so hard it made Bonnie wince.
"Answer me!"
"You're hurting me, Kai," Bonnie whimpered.
Kai didn't understand what the fucking problem was. Damon was dead, no one stalking her anymore, they were going to get rid of her annoying friends. Then he'd have Bonnie all to himself. What is the big deal?
"And you obviously don't care about me at all, you just proved that! God, you've done some stupid fucking things, I'll admit but this is by far… You're as good as dead, Kai." Bonnie finished the rest of her sentence in a small, regretful voice.
Kai decided to change the subject. "Bonnie, this isn't how I wanted to spend our honeymoon."
Her green orbs flashed with anger at that.
"Please, you have more important things to worry about." Bonnie sneered at him. "What do you think he's going to do to you when he finds out what you've done?"
Who?! Except exclaiming that question would start to waver the spell if Kai didn't act like he known her for years. Her father, maybe? Kai would kill him too.
She started pacing. "I wasn't cloaked anymore, but I know he's on the way. Shit, you know what, it's best if you leave town ASA fuckin P. God, why would you do this Kai! You know that I'm in love with him, only him, and I will always love him,"
Kai was beginning to piece it together. Bonnie wasn't in love with Damon. There was someone else! Oh no. He wasn't prepared for that. This wasn't in her memories of her history with Damon. He'd replaced the wrong guy. He could kill her for misleading him. That fucking whore! She had Damon wrapped around her tiny fingers and stole Kai's heart like a thief in the night, yet there was someone else. He was feeling quite murderous.
No, not murderous but she was his. She belonged to Kai. Fuck that other guy! He finally had the girl of his dreams and he knew what he had to do. If he didn't consummate the marriage soon his memory spell would begin wearing off as it was contingent upon fulfilling the wedding ritual.
"I did this for you! Don't you see that?" He hissed in her face. "Everything I do is for you. Understand that you're mine now."
A silent spell Bonnie cast had Kai being flung across the kitchen and slamming into a shelf, knocking over all the contents it held.
She continued pacing as Kai got up. "First of all, ow. And second, come here,"
An enchantment drew Bonnie nearer to him and he grabbed her elbow. She slapped his hand away. "Kai, stop it, don't touch me!"
" Bonnie ," Kai said as she pulled back from him but not before the entire room morphed into his bedroom. "We have to finish the ritual."
Kai reached for Bonnie again and she swatted his hands away, protesting in despair at the hungry look in his eyes. He grabbed her arms, siphoning her slightly to help weaken her, or as in his eyes, coax her. He needed her to relax or the spell would be null and void.
"Kai no, if our friendship means anything to you, you won't do this!" Her eyes implored him.
But it was too late. Kai had her right where he wanted her and he wasn't going to waste this opportunity to finally mark Bonnie as his and only his. He leaned in to embrace her.
"Shhh, it's ok Bon," he whispered in her ear and gently kissed a trail from her ear to her mouth, tasting salty tears. She turned her head away as she whimpered and Kai followed to press a slow, shaky kiss to her lips. She opened her mouth to protest again but he took it as an invitation to slip his tongue in and massage hers. After a few moments, she gave in and returned the kiss with more force than Kai expected.
That ignited the beast in him and heat coursed through his body. He pulled his shirt over his head, breaking the kiss briefly to only do that but he looked at Bonnie who was now staring back at him with the same desire and hunger he had for her. Well that was easier than I thought it would be. He guessed his impressive kissing skills could make any girl swoon and have a change of heart in the heat of the moment. He smirked. What other guy? In the moment, it wasn't important, he would find out later. Something powerful and transformative was about to take place and nothing in their world would ever be the same again. Kai looked down at Bonnie before he caught her lips again, this time they both started off their lip lock equally hungry. It took a few minutes before they came up for breath.
Kai stood towering over her, gently pulling her blazer down her shoulders. Then he walked her backward towards his bed and descended on the bed with her. He kissed down her chest, pulled her blouse up with one hand, cupping her right breast in one hand. He continued kissing down her stomach until he reached her belt buckle. With his free hand he undid it in one swift motion, unbuttoned the jeans, and slid them and the thong wrapped around Bonnie's bum down her caramelly legs.
"You're so fucking perfect," he whispered, looking down at her exposed lower half.
"What are you waiting for? We don't have much time, Kai." Bonnie murmured. She ripped off her blouse and threw it behind Kai.
He stared a hypnotic stare into Bonnie's eyes. "Tell me you want me," he said as he ran his hands up and down her thighs.
"Silly siphon," Bonnie laughed out a seductive giggle. "I don't want you at all," she moaned as she sat back on and spread her legs, gazing hungrily at him.
"Always spewing that shit but you know you want me," he said as he descended upon her. He positioned himself between her legs. She wrapped hers around his waist and moaned in rapture as he rubbed the tip of his erection against her clit. She was already dripping wet. Bonnie pressed her hands against his chest and dragged them to his neck, bringing him closer, demanding that he silence himself and fuck her.
Kai looked eyes with her again as he entered her slick heat slowly so he could feel every invasion as he opened her up and broke through her virgin barrier. Bonnie's mouth formed an O in equal parts shock, pain, and pleasure. Finally sheathed inside the essence of Bonnie he'd been craving for the past eight months, he began to move.
"Ohmmm," Bonnie breathed through a hitched breath. The way she was reacting, the way she smelled, the way she looked as if she was actually enjoying this -which Kai initially found odd being that she claimed to still have her virginity, but he wasn't going to complain- Kai was on sensory overload. He was about five pumps in when he felt that feeling of release about to burst. It didn't help that Bonnie was squeezing her muscles around his dick and begging him for more. He covered her mouth with his hands and tried to focus but she was digging her nails into his back and whimpering so desperately. She was practically sobbing with pleasure at his dicking. He couldn't help it anymore.
"Oh no," Kai let out a guttural groan as cock twitched and spilled his seed deep inside Bonnie. He shuddered and fell limp onto Bonnie's chest.
He heard her giggling and at the same time he felt her walls clenching around his still sheathed, semi-hard member.
"What's so funny Bon?"
"A minute man? Really Kai? That's all you've got?" She smirked an evil smile at him.
"Relax, Wifey. We have forever to get it right. Round two?" He grinned right back.
"You think you deserve round two, you two pump chump?" Kai snapped his head towards a new voice that had filled the room. His eyes bulged when they saw Damon standing before him in front of the bed.
"You're dead!" Kai nearly whispered.
"And he's stupid too. What were you thinking, Bon? How many years in the prison world?"
"Almost twenty years," Bonnie chuckled, suddenly standing next to Damon. "All that time alone must've made him stupid and crazy. But lame in the sack too? Embarrassing. I'm embarrassed for you." She mused.
"Fucking pathetic," Damon shook his head and pulled Bonnie into his arms. "Let's show him how it's done, B." Bonnie leered at Kai before Damon turned her chin towards him and leaned in for a kiss. His hands reached down and firmly gripped her ass, eliciting a surprised moan from Bonnie.
"Bonnie, NOOOO!" Kai blasted at them with a burst of magic but suddenly he was on his knees kneeling before his father, admonishing him for being an abomination.
"Still coming up short, boy?"
"Dad? What are you doing here? What's going on?" Kai yelled.
"You're the coven leader and you still don't get it. It's not you boy, you're a failure. You'll never be good enough, not for this coven, not for her, not for shit!" The entire coven that had been slaughtered at the wedding was behind Joshua Parker, including Jo and his siblings. They were all murmuring something and Kai was screaming. He knew they were trapping him back in another prison world. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Damon and Bonnie still going at it, they were full-on having sex.
"Who do you want, Bonnie?" Damon asked between kisses.
"Not Kai," she replied breathlessly.
"Do you want me?"
"No!"
"Bonnie," Damon panted, sliding his fingers into her mouth while she greedily sucked.
There was way too much going on, Kai was going into sensory overload again and this time it wasn't a sensational feeling. He heard his coven still chanting and his dad still spewing venom, while Bonnie and Damon were apparently having hate sex. Something wasn't right. His coven and family were dead, there's no way Bonnie would be fucking Damon (zombie or not) senseless if that wasn't even who she really wanted. The atmosphere was shifting, as it did that night, eighteen years ago.
But now he was going back to the prison world? At the hands of his ghost coven? Fuck that. No way he was going to let them take Bonnie right out of his hands and imprison him on a desolate planet again. He needed all this noise to stop.
He threw a wave of magic towards Bonnie and Damon again but the coven closed in on him with their collective power.
"SHE'S MINE!" He roared and suddenly Jo appeared in front of him, eyes cold and dead, her body in the form of a rotting corpse in her wedding dress, and shoved a blade through his stomach.
Kai looked down at the wound and sputtered blood from his mouth before his world faded to black.
Bonnie's POV
Bonnie was still pacing in Kai's living room as he lay crumpled on the floor against the shelf she magically threw him at. He had been that way for the better of fifteen minutes and Bonnie was trying to figure out how she would explain this supernatural "marriage" to Kol if he showed up. He had no room to be angry over an accidental supernatural nuptials was forced on her when he willingly decided to be with Davina. A blatant difference!
She decided to call Matt, as she didn't trust the resident vampires of Mystic Falls and Matt was the only human person she could trust as he hated vampires too. Come on, Matt, pick up! Lucky for Bonnie, he answered on the third ring.
"Bonnie," Matt greeted her.
"Matt! Are you still drinking vervain?"
"Everyday, you know that Bon."
"I could really use your help with something, I think I'm having a supernaturally mental breakdown and I don't know who to trust." She said.
"Bonnie, where are you? Elena and Caroline are looking everywhere for you."
"The vampires?!"
"Those vampires are your friends and they've been your friends long before they ever became vampires." He tried to explain. "They said you acted like you didn't know them and you're in cahoots with Kai."
"That's what Caroline said but I'm so confused Matty, my memories are all mixed up. I still have my memories of you and Kol and trying to keep you safe but I don't trust those other vampires, they're not safe in my memories." Bonnie blinked back tears. She felt like she was going crazy.
"Where are you?"
"I'm at Kai's apartment."
"Bonnie, where is Kai? You need to get out of there, Kai is the sick freak who's been obsessed with you, it's not safe!" Matt replied with so much panic in his voice, Bonnie was nearly compelled to believe him. But she didn't remember , making it hard to trust anything he was saying that went against her memories.
"He's knocked out right now, I blasted him with magic because he was acting super strange. Well, stranger than usual."
"Get out of there right now, I'm at The Grille."
"Ok, I'm on the way."
Bonnie heard Kai stirring and threw a sleep spell at him for good measure. She needed him to stay out until she figured all of this out. She didn't want to hurt him if he was her friend but if he was actually crazy enough to manipulate her memories just to get to her, that meant Kai was the one who should be dead right now, not Damon. She needed to make this right.
Bonnie was feeling overwhelmed. She tried to focus, she focused her mind on Matt and getting to the grille when suddenly she appeared at his side while he was bussing a booth in the corner of the grille.
"Bonnie!" Matt did a whisper yell. He pulled her to the side. "In public Bonnie? How'd you do that?"
"I don't know, I just concentrated and it brought me to where you were."
"Let's go out back," Matt led her through the kitchen, not before asking his coworker to take over for him.
Once outside Bonnie explained her point of view of what happened. The town vampires were her enemies and she was supposed to perform a spell to restore Damon's humanity because he had been wreaking havoc on the town. Something about merging with his brother went wrong.
"Bonnie, you're a powerful witch. You can see my memories. You can trust them. Go ahead."
She nodded and put her hands on his head and concentrated. She started chanting and her breath hitched when she accessed Matt's memory vault.
The memories were highlights over the last six years with Elena and Caroline becoming vampires, her grams dying, battling the Originals, both Bonnie and falling in love with her Original, Matt becoming a vampire hunter, Bonnie starting college as the anchor to the other side, her and Damon getting stuck in the prison world where Kai Parker dwelled. Kai!
"Arghh! That fucking weasel!" Bonnie collapsed into Matt's arms. "Why is he doing this Matt? Why won't he just leave me alone?"
This broke Matt's heart as he held her in his embrace.
"I don't know, Bonnie. But we'll find a way to take him out." He said quietly.
Bonnie wept a few moments in his arms. Then she stood up slowly, apologizing to Matt.
"It's alright. I'm always here for you." He assured her.
"I need to get to Damon,"
He nodded. "Just concentrate like you did when you got here."
Bonnie closed her eyes and concentrated until she was in the living room at the boarding house, where she observed Stefan kneeling near Damon's desiccated body on the couch.
"Bonnie!" Caroline rushed to her. "Are you, you ?"
"Caroline, oh my god!" She hugged her friend. "Yes, it's me. Kai did some form of mind manipulation with that spell. I thought he was my friend and Damon was the obsessed sociopath in my life. I didn't think I could trust vampires."
"I'm just glad you're back!" Caroline squeezed her again.
"Bonnie," Stefan said slowly. "I know you didn't mean to but.." he gestured towards Damon's lifeless body.
"I'm so sorry Stefan. I underestimated Kai. I'll make this right."
Stefan shook his head.
"You'll exhaust yourself and trade your life for Damon's. He wouldn't want that, is there any way you could make that possible for him and Kai?"
"I'm imbued with lots of power now since apparently, I'm the wife of the Gemini Coven leader. I can do this Stefan, I can bring him back."
"But the consequences?" Caroline said.
"Guys, I'm in love with an Original Vampire. I threw caution to the wind a long time ago." Bonnie smirked.
They exchanged looks in acceptance and stepped back.
"I need your blood, Stefan."
Stefan obliged, biting into his wrist and letting Bonnie guide his hand to let a few drops fall onto Damon's forehead. As Bonnie began her chant, the lines of desiccation begin to melt away and Damon's normal skin tone returned. His breath sucked in and he gasped to life as Bonnie faltered next to him.
Caroline rushed to Bonnie's side. "Bonnie, that's enough he's back." She was sure she was going to find blood coming out of Bonnie's nose but to her surprise, no nosebleed was in sight, although Bonnie did look fatigued.
"I'm ok, Care. Damon," Bonnie placed her hand on his cheek. Damon clasped his own hand over Bonnie's.
"I'm sorry. I killed you," she tried to blink tears away.
"You brought me back, Bon, I'm ok." Damon tried to soothe her but Bonnie wasn't having it.
"Damon, I don't think I can do this anymore. He got into my head, he changed my memories. He's taking my sanity!"
"Then we need to kill him for good." Said Damon.
"He'll find a way back! Don't you get it? He's never gonna stop coming for Bonnie, we need another plan!" Caroline exclaimed.
"Caroline, calm down. We're gonna-" Stefan tried but he was interrupted by Caroline.
"No Stefan, I won't calm down! Don't tell me it's going to be ok and we'll figure it out, we need another plan!"
She looked into Stefan's eyes, imploring him to understand. "Klaus has witch friends, he can h-"
"Klaus has witch hostages that do his bidding, Blondie. Bonnie, you don't want Klaus strong-arming more witches into doing his work, do you? Plus you can't involve Klaus without involving your boyfriend and I'm sure you-"
Damon was cut short by Bonnie.
"Don't mention him to me! Kol's not coming, he obviously doesn't want to be involved if he isn't here by now. But you're right. The only way we can get rid of the siphon for good is if we take him by surprise."
New Orleans 2010
Kol and Bonnie's POV
Kol led Bonnie inside the room which took on the form of a luxurious five-star hotel suite. "Well his taste certainly has improved," He smirked as he surveyed their surroundings. While he led Bonnie to a couch she leaned on him, still depleted from her magic draining. He sat her down and brought her some water.
Bonnie gulped down half of a water bottle before she took a breath. Panting, she leaned back as Kol crouched on the ground to remove her sandals. He began to rub her feet in such relaxing ministrations, Bonnie couldn't help but moan in satisfaction. All the same, the sound ignited Kol's arousal.
"Kol, that feels amazing," she crooned. Then she sighed. "The hex, I'm sorry-"
Kol crept up and settled in the seat next to Bonnie, pulling her on his chest.
"Don't speak of it. Tonight is for us, and us only. I understand you've had a long night, little witch. Please, let me extend my apologies for my earlier taunts-"
In a quick movement, Bonnie sat up and whipped around facing Kol. Captivating him to the spot with her emerald stare, her hands slid up the inside of his thigh, stopping just before she reached the site of evidently growing arousal. "Fine, we'll talk about the hex later. But you should know, I love you, Kol Mikaelson," his eyes grew wide at her admission. "There, I said it. First . But if you ever do what you did earlier to me again," she grabbed him by his groin, gently squeezing. "I'm going to crush your testicles with my favorite pair of stilettos. And when you heal, I'll do it again,"
Something primal came over Kol at Bonnie's feisty declaration of love for him. He couldn't breathe properly, he couldn't see straight. Confusion was the only thing he could make sense of until he focused in on her heartbeat, which was beating in anticipation. And then he felt her emotions. She was speaking from the heart, also dead serious about her ominous threat as well. His heart swelled with joy and admiration for Bonnie's love, her strength, her resilience. This crumbled all of his resolve, he had to have her that instant, knowing she wanted him as much as he wanted her, she loved him as he loved her and he needed her now.
He flashed them over to the bed and laid Bonnie flat on her back.
"What brought this on?"
"The moment Esther asked me to betray you tonight and everything that's happened since. She asked me that the night I met you but I realized I couldn't do it either way. I can't fight it, I never could. When I took her out, the awful things she said about you, I just- your crazy ass was already in my heart, I couldn't fathom someone who was really so awful deep down would ever have a place in it. You've always been there for me and even though you're pretty psychotic sometimes, you do make me happy," she smiled up at him. "I think I'm going pretty crazy over you too,"
"Bonnie, my beauty, my heart. I have loved you since the moment I laid my eyes upon you. So much it hurts," he said as he looked into her eyes, with each set of orbs radiating a soft silver glow. Bonnie pouted and leaned up to meet his lips.
They kissed hungrily, taking extra care to explore every inch of each other's mouths, with soft lip nibbling and biting. Bonnie began to pull at his shirt, until she pulled it off. Kol's body fought against his screaming impulses to pause and ask, "Are you certain?"
No more questions, just get to it, you absolute fool! If she said no, he might just throw himself out of the window.
Bonnie nodded assuredly, softly sighing yes. She wanted him to touch her again, to let her know that she belonged to him and he belonged to her in a way that showed her no one else would ever make her feel the way he could. And that out of all the lovers he may have had, the one he truly wanted was her . Her breathy response was all the green light he needed to proceed. He separated the flaps on her shirt, sending the buttons flying and she wiggled out of it. Kol pulled Bonnie up to straddle his lap while he kissed her. She gasped when she felt how hard he was between her legs and leaned back when he began trailing kisses down her neck and chest. He unbuckled her jean shorts and slipped his hand inside. This startled Bonnie and she arched forward, releasing a surprised gasp.
"Relax," Kol murmured in a soothing tone. "I want you to enjoy this but you must relax darling," he slid his thumb over the sensitive nub he'd had the pleasure of finally tasting earlier that night. It made Bonnie twitch by reflex so he kept rubbing in circles. When she was leaking her arousal, he slipped his index finger inside her hot sheath. She tensed her walls around him, which made him throb and ache to be within her. But Kol knew he had to take it slow and he couldn't yet express his affections with brute force. He repositioned them so they lay side by side and freed himself from his own jeans to guide Bonnie's hand to his engorged limb, silently instructing her on how to perfect her stroke.
His thumb massaged up and down her clit while two fingers gradually picked up a thrusting pace as his love twisted and pulled at his knob, until the pleasure mounted so high, an involuntary response took over her body and she released his swollen limb. He locked eyes with her as his ministrations eventually pushed Bonnie over the edge and she came crashing down with a high pitched wail.
"Oh my God," Bonnie said breathlessly, resting her head on the pillow. She moaned out a loud breath before she grabbed his member again and resumed her fisting of his shaft, twisting and stimulating his knob, building up his release until it erupted moments later.
She caught his lips in a deep kiss that expressed many weighted emotions that were as of yet, indiscernible. Then she caught her breath and laid back, reflecting on what they'd just done.
"Don't get too comfortable, we're just getting started," Kol pressed another kiss to her lips before he got up and went into the bathroom. As soon as he did, Bonnie grabbed a box of Kleenex that was on the bedside table and wiped her sticky hands. Then she wiggled out of her soaked shorts, ripped off her bra, and slipped under the blankets. It's really going down! Excitement as well as nerves of anxiety roamed her mind and body as she anticipated her first time having sex.
The nerves were only because Kol had made shit real awk when he'd admitted that he'd had many lovers, even before he was turned, and that he couldn't remember his first time, only that he was human and it was a one time thing with his partner. Insecurities flowed deep because Bonnie was worried she wouldn't be memorable either, she knew Kol didn't have a bad memory. What if she was underwhelming in bed due to first time pain? Those thoughts were prevalent before she understood she indeed had the ability to bring him pleasure and the knowledge that he loved her dimmed that mentality.
At the same time, she was excited because he made her feel so good and though she craved more of that feeling.
A moment later Kol came back into the room, wearing only a white fluffy robe, holding towels and another robe for Bonnie. When he noticed Bonnie sitting up in the bed with the blanket tucked under her bare shoulders, his eyes glowed, and fangs dropped without the veins.
"Your eyes, and your fangs," Bonnie gazed at him in awe. "I've never seen any vampire do that before. I noticed that this morning in the woods. What is that?"
"I don't know. It only happens when I'm with you, either in awe of you, or absolutely aroused."
"With you, those things are one and the same," Bonnie said with a smirk.
"True," he smiled at her.
"Except at the hotel, you were pissed. And then you weren't…"
"Maybe it's because I've had your blood and you're the most powerful witch I've ever met?" Kol suggested as he dropped his robe, his nude body on full display. He stood with his hands on his hips for a second while Bonnie gaped then looked away. The sheer size of him dimmed away her courage and she focused on his eyes, attempting a weak smile. He chuckled as he slid under the covers with her. "You'll have to get used to the sight in time, but is this better, for now?"
Under the blanket, Kol lifted it to view Bonnie's bare body and sucked in his breath. He pulled her close against his body and she felt so warm and so sensational pressed up against him. He grinned against her cheeks. "You are delightfully exquisite, do you know that?"
Bonnie's cheeks were burning red and she knew Kol could feel her embarrassment as well as arousal in equal parts. She decided to deflect instead. "You want me to get used to you naked. Is that because you actually plan on marrying me, or is that because I'm your soulmate?"
His smile faded as she pulled back to look him in the eyes. Her face was serious, which told Kol that she'd been informed of their fate together.
"You knew this whole time and you never said anything?"
"Are you toying with me, Bonnie? Using my own cruel games against me?"
"What?" Bonnie furrowed her brows in confusion.
"You are going to refuse me now?"
"No, I just- we have all night for that. Don't you think that's something you should tell someone before you sleep with them?"
Kol lowered his eyes and glanced to his side. "I suppose so. I doubt it would have made a difference since you wouldn't have believed me in the first place."
A sudden banging on the door of their suite sounded before Kol could respond. Sensing the Salvatore on the other side, Kol growled as he wrapped a towel around his waist. Bonnie rushed to put on her robe and Kol walked at a slow human pace to answer the door.
When he finally whipped the door open, he growled at Damon. "You are interrupting. What the bloody fucking hell do you want?"
Damon looked between the two of them and his face contorted in displeasure. "No, this sight is interrupting the peaceful view of the door I was just looking at!"
"Damon! What is it?" Bonnie asked, urgently.
"Katherine is on her way back to Mystic Falls," his eyes bugged as he spoke. "Nadia's dead and she's blaming us for it. She said she's going to shove the cure down Elena's throat, then kill her."
Klaus's POV
Klaus entered the private cabin of the jet to find Abby pacing. "Abigail, we're about to land, love. You've got to take your seat,"
"I'm going to kill them, Nik. I'm going to fucking kill them, and then Rudy is going to kill me, and-"
"And then I'll rip his intestines out, should he touch a single lock of luscious hair on that gorgeous head of yours,"
"Oh my God, not literally. It's a figure of speech, come on!" Abby ran her fingers through her hair.
Klaus caught her as she paced past him, pulling her into his embrace from behind. "You've got to relax, you're going to cause a scene. May I interest you in a stress relief romp-"
"NO," Abby pulled out of his embrace and kept pacing. "If I wasn't so wrapped up in riding the pony, this wouldn't have even happened. We were supposed to go after Esther!"
Klaus sighed and sat down. He absolutely loathed seeing Abby in distress. He had a mind to dagger Kol and subdue Bonnie with a sleeping spell for a few centuries. Maybe even until the next summit, just to keep them out of trouble. It seemed the young star-crossed lovers had a penchant for seeking out chaos. Klaus sat down on the lounging compartment and leaned back, resting his hands behind his head. "Then why don't you just talk to me. Tell me what's on your mind, sweetheart."
Abby continued to pace as she expressed her guilt for not being the first one to check out the danger brewing in New Orleans, and being so focused on Klaus instead of her daughter. She also revealed she was worried about being such a new vampire in a crowd full of people, as the population was pulsing with heartbeats and her vampire senses were overly keen.
"I just got my daughter back, and she's a witch. She's got vampire friends but they're so attached to their humanity still. I know she's struggling with Kol's vampire nature. I just don't want her to hate me for what I am now," she knelt in front of her lover. "And I get so angry, I don't know how to control it. Why isn't it getting any easier?"
Klaus could no longer deny it, nor could he ever refuse telling Abby the truth, not if it was in her best interest to be apprised. It made sense, why she had a heightened sense of lust, it was to curb her potent bloodlust. He took her chin in his hands. "You're a Ripper, and you're afraid she will find out and what? Renounce her allegiance with you?"
Her eyes brimmed with hot tears as she nodded. Klaus pulled her up and cradled her in his arms, resting her head against his chest. "Listen to me. You are a hell of a woman and a strong vampire, made of my own bloodline. Before that, you were a powerful witch, and once upon a time, a loving, doting mother to your baby girl. Do not ever doubt that it is within your strengths or ability to be an exceptional parent, or a decent person. There is still light in you. You're containing your nature aren't you? Why if Bonnie should ever show her hide in a display of contempt, I have these magic blocking shackles and a few other dark objects that would teach her a grand lesson in respect,"
Abby sighed. "How do you always know what to say?" she asked, hugging him tightly. "Besides that last part,"
"Thousands of years of practice, love," he chuckled.
"But Bonnie's just a kid and Kol won't even listen to me. The boy has no respect, he just thinks I'm some deadbeat. If that continues, she won't respect me either. She already thinks she can run off with him!"
"She went off with Damon," Klaus corrected.
"Even worse," Abby scoffed. "But she had to have known Kol would go after her,"
"He will listen to Bonnie. He's got mad respect and devotion for her. And he's had to answer to Elijah and I from time to time. If you can get Bonnie in line, he'll have no choice but to follow suit. I can always enforce the matter. If that doesn't work, he can always meet the pointy end of a dagger for a decade or two,"
A slight turbulence of the jet's descent shook the cabin momentarily before they touched the ground. 'Welcome to New Orleans' was heard over the intercom.
Klaus adjusted their positions and pushed Abby on her back. "Now that I've eased your worries, allow me to ease your tension one last time before we mingle amongst all those tempting humans," he murmured against her lips.
Within minutes, the windows of the cabin became steamy with fog.
Kol and Bonnie's POV
Bonnie woke with a pounding headache. Then the events of the previous night came rushing back to her. Dispatching Esther and Finn and getting Kol hexed in the process, coming to Marcel's, the Mikaelson child and hybrid agenda, Katherine on the warpath again. Then she looked down to find she had new undergarments on as she remembered her intimate fondling session with Kol.
She remembered after Damon came with the news about Katherine, she begged Damon to return to Mystic Falls to protect Elena. In a frenzied panic because she was too far away and without her magic, Kol had given Bonnie an excessive amount of wine to calm her down.
At the time, he'd thought it was a good idea until she became relentlessly aroused and bombed him with affection. She whimpered as she pleaded and demanded him to take her then and there, insisting she was ready, pressing her body against his in nothing but her robe. He'd denied her penetration but gave in to the temptation of oral play. Kol discovered they both had innate talent and a penchant for pleasing each other, hitting the right spot at the right time.
Kol visited the restroom, spending an extra amount of time debating whether or not he should just go for it. Ultimately, the uncertainty of whether she would wake up angry, denying him for an even longer amount of time won out over his primal urges.
"Kol!" She called out. As if on cue, Kol emerged from the kitchen with a tray in his hands, carrying a full course breakfast meal on it.
"Here I am, beautiful one," he placed the tray over her lap and kissed her fully.
"Last night," Bonnie said when Kol settled in the bed next to her. "We didn't… I mean, I know we kinda,"
"We did not have sex, at least where penetrative intercourse is concerned. Your virtue is still intact," he assured her. "Orally, however,"
Bonnie giggled. "I remember that part. I might have strangled you if you would've pulled the same thing you did at the hotel,"
Kol gazed at her in awe. "You are surprisingly calm and casual about all of this,"
"I'm just proud that you didn't push for more, I know I was pretty relentless but I was just drunk. Obviously, I've realized I'm not ready. You really do love me, don't you?"
"More than anything, precious. I have always loved you,"
Bonnie suddenly grew self-conscious.
"What is it?"
"Did I… please you too?"
Kol smiled. "Repeatedly. But you also tormented me. To have you in such a state and not be able to fully act upon it is destroying me."
"This fuckin hangover is destroying my brain cells," she reached for his hand. "May I, Mr. Mikaelson?"
Kol moved the tray across the bed and hovered in front of Bonnie. "You spoke of marriage last night. Does that mean I'll ever have the pleasure of calling you Mrs. Mikaelson? Even if it's only briefly?"
Taken aback, Bonnie didn't know how to answer that. Kol sliced his carotid artery with a fingernail and pressed Bonnie to his neck. "Drink, love. Your mother is in town with Nik. They'll be here shortly."
His blood rejuvenated her, and her hangover subsided. After she'd had her fill, she laid on Kol's chest. "Abby is going to be pissed at me,"
"What can she really do? You've got me. I'm stronger and faster and I can compel her to sway her mind. I answer to no one,"
"Kol, that's my mother. That would be so disrespectful. You can't disrespect a black momma, she will literally kick your ass. Or in your case die trying, but then I'll kick your ass,"
He sighed, understanding the sentiment, though he could no longer relate. Trouble and the reprimands for it was a thing of the past, the only trouble he ever got into since turning was his bouts of blood and violence, the reprimands for it were always decades daggered in a coffin. That was the only way anything could be denied to him.
"Tell me about a time when you got into trouble with your parents," Bonnie whispered. "Can you even remember that far back?"
"Oh yes," he replied as he stroked her hair, strumming his fingers across her scalp. It was a gesture that always soothed her. "I wasn't truly at fault but we all took turns taking the blame for Nik sometimes so Father wouldn't beat him. He had recently returned from battle and spent a lot of time drinking and sleeping past the early morning. It was about my fourteenth summer and I was old enough to wield my own sword. I wanted to experience what it was like to spar against Father's sword. I convinced Nik to wield his sword, though it had already been polished. During our sparring, I got the upper hand and Nik dropped the sword on the cobblestone, nicking it. Father was furious, he immediately blamed Nik, he was always on about his incompetence causing any mishap. I insisted it was me, and gave a jovial display of how clumsy I'd been that day. My brother Henrik always helped me temper our Father's moods, except that day, it was to no avail. He was absolutely pissed off and claimed we were all imbecilic fools. He never struck me but he intimidated me nonetheless. The next day, Nik, Henrik and I were all made to extend our daily chores into the evening, plowing the fields and stacking hay. It was about seven days before he calmed down,"
Something about each time he got to just lay with Bonnie and talk to her about anything warmed Kol's heart, in a way that made him feel surprisingly human. And he had begun to realize he loved that.
Bonnie shuddered against Kol, though they were wrapped under a warm blanket. "He doesn't sound very nice,"
"He was a nightmare, who only grew worse after our transition. He's part of the reason I didn't tell you about our fated romance,"
The little witch looked up at him. "How so?"
"I'm convinced I have my father's rage. You remember my brothers each courted the original first Petrova doppelgänger, Tatia. She had a sister, Emelia. I courted her, unfortunately so did another man from our village. She never told me she'd considered anyone else, before I stumbled upon them,"
"Emelia, who worked on the hunters with Ayanna? That was your bae?"
He chuckled.
" That was a mistake. Only you, my darling," Kol kissed the top of her forehead. "After that, the rage I felt for her deception, I feared would bring out my father's temper. Ayanna prepared a spell for me, and that's when I saw you for the first time, the visions. The season before we were turned."
"Oh my God," Bonnie's hands clamped over her mouth in shock. "You saw me? A thousand years ago?"
"When I say that you are mine, and when I tell you that I love you, Bonnie, know that I mean it eternally, from the depths of my heart. I know my passion is overwhelming, but I can't help it, nor can I ever let you go," Kol's voice trembled as he spoke. "I've loved you for a thousand years," he whispered. "And for a thousand years I've known if I was ever to be blessed with your presence in my life, once that happened, I'd never be able to do without you. I was torn when you left with Damon, and intent on killing him. As much as I hate his gravitation towards you, I can tell he means to protect you in some way," he sighed. "If this trip had gotten you harmed in anyway, there'd be no Damon. A thousand years I've waited on you and I'd be completely damned if I allow anything to take you away from me. You're mine, my angel… my everything,"
Suddenly, it all made sense. When Davina performed the spell, she didn't mention that the spell had been performed for Kol a millennium ago. All his antics, which had come off as overprotective, psychotic impulses, violent outbursts, were because he had finally found her . Rebekah had explained that she was his one soft spot and that his crazy impulses were his knee-jerk reactions when he was distressed about their relationship. That his greatest fear was losing her.
Then there was this hex. They hadn't even discussed it, but Marcel warned her not to use magic, but either way, to make the most of her time with Kol while she could. It must have been truly bad, especially with Damon's recollection of how it worked.
"I can't let you go either, or do without you, I won't!" Bonnie was shaking in his arms. "I feel so dangerously in love with you, I think it's making me stupid," he laughed and pressed his forehead against hers.
"I know the feeling all too well," he murmured. Kol didn't think it was possible to love a person more than being madly in love would make one, yet it was like theirs was a love as infinite as the universe. As if it would always continue to expand.
"But the hex," before she could stop herself, tears began to pour out of her eyes in excess. Kol held Bonnie as she sobbed, shushing and soothing her the best he could. "It's going to kill you isn't it?"
"Bonnie," he said after a while, taking her chin in hand. She gazed up at him with somber, moist greens. "I know of a spell that would bind us together in matrimony. In the supernatural world, we'd be recognized as husband and wife. You wouldn't need the consent of your parents, just two witnesses. And someone to perform the spell," he raised a brow at her.
"You wanna marry me?"
Kol rose from his place in bed and went to his jacket and pulled something out. He returned presenting a little black box, with a light illuminating a 4ct Pear Solitaire engagement ring in yellow gold. "I picked this out in the 1500s, then had it altered after I met you,"
He dropped to one knee. "Bonnie Bennett, I love you more than anything in this world. You are my heart, my light, my way. I may only have days left, but if you would do me the honor of being my bride, I would die a happy vampire,"
Bonnie scrambled out of bed in her underwear and dropped down next to Kol. "Get up, sweetness," he chuckled. "You're not supposed to be down here,"
"I'm too excited to stand!" She squealed. "Yes! I will! Oh my goodness, are we really gonna do this?" Kol slid the ring on her finger while Bonnie swooned and then he scooped her up in his arms.
"We're really doing this, little love,"
Marcel's POV
"Absolutely NOT!" Marcel heard Abby Bennett and Klaus Mikaelson hollering in unison at the teen couple. Then everyone began arguing back and forth.
Bonnie: "Mom, you can't tell me no! I'm gonna be with Kol and I don't care-"
Abby: "I said NO, dammit Bonnie! You're too young, you don't know what the hell you're getting into!"
Kol: "You're not my father and you won't keep me from her!"
Klaus: "You're a bloody damn fool! You can't even take care of yourself, what are you going to do with a wife?!"
Abby: "You're still in high school, for God sake's! You can't get married!"
Kol: "She doesn't need school, I can provide all that she needs, which is more than you'll ever do for your own daughter!"
Bonnie: "Kol, don't talk to my mom like that!"
Abby: "See what I mean? The disrespect!"
Kol: "Well, it's the truth, is it not, Abby? Where have you been for the last 15 years?"
Bonnie: "Stop it, Kol!"
Abby: "Klaus, you better talk to him!"
Klaus: "You fucking idiot, that's your girlfriend's mum, what the hell is wrong with you?"
Kol: "My fiancé, get it right!"
Klaus: "I'll cut off all your access to our trust and then how will you fare?"
Kol: "As if I need your support, I've always been better off without you anyway!"
Abby: "This is the kind of guy you wanna marry? You don't even know him, you've spent like what, two, three months together?"
Bonnie: "I love him, mama! Why can't you just support me and be there for me?" Her voice broke slightly.
Kol: "Why are you so surprised, love, given her absentee history?"
Abby: "You little shit!"
Bonnie: "Shut up, you aren't helping!"
Kol: "I'm the only one seeing reason here! These two pathetic excuses of authority figures are just-"
Klaus: "YOU WILL SHOW YOUR ELDERS SOME RESPECT!" Klaus thundered. "Or so help me, I will dagger you and you won't be revived until eighty summits have passed."
Marcel heard Kol heaving. "You do that and I will raise literal hell for the both of you, if you separate me from my Bonnie,"
Klaus: "On the contrary brother. Your little blushing bride shall slumber right alongside you in an enchanted sleep. All I need is a witch to perform the spell. That will give you both time more than enough time to come to your senses."
Abby: "If that's what it takes,"
He then heard the young Bennett witch gasp before she began to cry. "Your family sucks !" He heard a stomp and footsteps running until a door slammed…
"Now look at what you've done! Bonnie," Kol called.
Abby: "I'll go talk to my daughter,"
Bonnie: "Leave me alone, all of you!"
Fucking teenagers and their theatrics, Marcel thought as he rolled his eyes. He took the momentary lapse in silence to enter the room.
"Knock, knock. The door was cracked," he said when three heads turned to look at him. "Now that this family squabble is over, can we move on to the next one?"
"The next one?" Abby questioned.
"Oh trust me, it's gonna be a good one," Marcel said with a smirk.
Kol scoffed. "I'm not interested," he turned towards the bathroom.
"Oh, this concerns you too, Loverboy. And I think Ms. Bennett needs a word with her daughter,"
"Thank you, Marcel," Abby gave him a slight nod.
Kol rolled his eyes and flashed towards the door but Klaus intercepted him, dragging him by the back of his shirt. "Alright, I'm coming!" Kol jerked out of his hold.
Klaus grinned at Marcel. "Lead the way, son,"
AN: It amused me a lot to add that last part, I originally wanted to do a cliffhanger on that proposal but to immediately have it shut down by the parental units in the next scene was better timing.
I also wanted to get more of Marcel's point of view, maybe I will later, but I wanted to show how silly it sounds from an arbitrary third-party viewpoint that two young lovers are being reckless and impulsive, really showing how they're not yet ready for that commitment.
Next chapter will get back to what Kol is trying to get out of Davina in the future.
If there are any errors in grammar or continuity, I shall hunt them down and correct as I look back on my first baby :)
As always, please read, share, add comments or kudos and tell me if you're enjoying my story! Thank you for reading.
Had to make a quick update, also must add that I am currently working on multiple fics as well as an original story, I will not be taking fic requests at this time. But I will be doing a crossover between the three fics I've got published from this one, Got your back, and Closer :)
