Code Tenno Uprising of the Void

(Start Area 11 Interrogation Cell)
"Do you know anything about this weapon, Suzaku Kururugi?" Jeremiah asked, performing an "interrogation" on the "suspect". "It was the one used to rob Prince Clovis of his life. The barrel striations leave no doubt. And we've done a little homework on you as well." Jeramiah said as he glared at Suzaku no doubt with plans to make this into a kangaroo court against the Eleven. "You're the eldest child of Japan's prime minister, are you not? Your motive here is clear." Jeramiah said making it clear his thoughts on Suzaku's innocence clear that as an Eleven he was clearly guilty.
"You're making a mistake. I have never even laid eyes on that gun!" The Japanese boy protested but this however just earned him the reward from a soldier, Kewell Soresi, with his chair being kicked out from under him. Which left the boy helplessly lying on the floor due to his restraints.
"We've found your fingerprints all over this weapon." Jeremiah stated but that was a complete lie, though. Any fingerprints belonging to Suzaku on the gun had been planted on it by the Purebloods. "You're also suspected of murdering members of the Royal Guard. Come clean now, and you'll be judged as if you were born a Britannian, not some worthless Eleven!" Jeramiah said as he intended to see this Eleven sent to the firing squad.
"You're wrong! I've done nothing!" Suzaku tried to defend but in response to this protest, Kewell kicked him in the face this time.
(Scene Break the Tenno)
"This is load of Kubrow shit!" Sayak yelled as he slammed his hands onto the table causing it to shake. "Culprit my ass they plan to Kangaroo him!" Sayak yelled clearly angry at what was a clear misuse of justice.
"And what do you suggest we do, go over there to rescue him and make him look even more guilty of the crime?" Eureka asked as Sayak growled a bit and turned away.
"I don't know maybe!" Sayak said but clearly, he wasn't too sure on this especially as he let his emotions do the talking for him.
Eureka gave him a cold look but before any more arguments could be made Ava smiled to this. "Good old Sayak always easy to rile up." Ava giggled and in turn Sayak glared at her.
"Easy to rile up, am I?" Sayak growled as Ava laughed a bit.
"Well of course, after all... wasn't you getting riled up what lead to you almost joining the Stalkers?" Ava asked as her joy turned into a cold glare showing that she still remembered what Sayak nearly did after the Lotus left them.
"Why you." Sayak began but Ven decided to cut in.
"That's enough both of you!" Ven called out all but ordering them to stand down.
"Fine." Sayak and Ava both said as they eased back from each other.
"Lotus what does this mean in the long run?" Ven asked as Lotus was leaning towards Natah for this one.
"For starters it shows that any further assassination missions need to be taken with exceptional care." Lotus said making it clear that they can't accept every Assassination job that they are offered while in this world. "Rescuing him may provide us with valuable enemy intelligence but one should also remember he is a Private hardly close to a Grunt." Lotus said as she knew it sounded cruel, but it may seem that Suzaku had to die. "If we reveal ourselves openly like that it will make further missions difficult." Lotus said as Ven saw what this meant.
"We can't help him... can we?" Ven said more then asked and thus the Lotus grew silent to this.
"Damn." Ava sighed as she saw what this meant.
"Wait what about that figure from Shinjuku the voice who helped us out?" Eureka asked as she saw what this meant.
"You think he might fly in to save the day?" Sayak asked as Ven then had a small idea since he knew who the true killer was.
"Maybe... and I think I know how to find out." Ven said and in turn had a solo mission in mind.
(Meanwhile with Lelouch and Nunally)
"I can't believe Suzaku was on the news like that." Nunally said as she was happy to see that Suzaku was alive, but she did not like how she found out.
"Yeah. It looks like he is still alive." Lelouch said as he helped Nunally into bet, yet his reply held another meaning in it. He was relieved to learn that Suzaku was still alive. He had thought that he had been killed by those damned Royal Guard soldiers, but somehow, he had managed to survive.
"It's been a long time. We haven't seen him since the war ended." Nunally said as her brother tucked her in unaware that they were being watched from inside this very room. "And Lelouch it wasn't true what the news said was it?" Nunally asked as even with her eyes closed Lelouch knew she was looking at him.
"Of course not, Suzaku would never do anything like that they just made a mistake." Lelouch said as Nunally was hopeful for that.
"I hope so." Nunally said as she held Lelouch's hand in hers. Nunally then began to drift to sleep and in turn Lelouch smiled to his beloved sister.
"Goodnight Nunally." Lelouch bid and thus took his leave from the room. Once Lelouch left the room and the sound of the lights flicking off was heard Nunally decided to approach something inside said room.
"I know your there so stop hiding." Nunally said as she turned her head to the figure that Lelouch had unknowingly just walked past. She looked exactly like Nunally except her hair was blond and she was wearing a skintight suit and most importantly she had a bird insignia on her forehead much like CC did.
"I wasn't hiding." The Nunally doubleganger said while leaning on the furniture in the room.
Nunally was skeptical as she knew there was something strange going on here. "Who are you, exactly?" Nunally asked as she looked to the figure invisible to the world. "Why can I see you even though I'm blind?" Nunally asked as she looked to her look-a-like. "And you look just like me..." Nunally spoke and thus the figure had the answer.
"The contract." The figure said surprising Nunally. "Don't you remember? You sought power that's why I entrusted you with that Knightmare and that Geass which gives you the ability to see into the future." The figure said and thus she turned away from Nunnally and glanced at the Mirror. "In return... I took something from you that I have been wishing for." The girl said as Nunnally was concerned.
"What... what did you take from me?"
"The Darkness in your heart." The figure said in a matter-of-fact tone. "Anger, sadness, and the vengeance born from those emotions." The figure said as she turned to face Nunally. "By utilizing those feelings of loss, I've evolved from a mere mud doll to a higher state of being." The figure said as she gestured to herself.
"How do I know you're not real, my brother could not see you, yet I can." Nunally said as she was no fool, she could easily have snapped, and everything was starting to come undone in her mind.
"Simple I am a Quantum-like being created by stringing together cells of a Witch." The figure said as she looked to Nunally. "No one other than you and a select few with the gift will be able to see me." The being said and thus Nunally heard this.
"A select few with the gift?" She asked and thus the being smiled to this.
"With this crest or the powers born of it, others can see me." The being said and thus walked over to Nunally. "They used to call me Magical Device Nemo." The being now named Nemo said. "But now I am the other, you." Nemo said as she smiled to Nunally. "In a way to ensure our brother has nothing to fear for your safety I have become the Knight to Princess Nunally Vi Britannia." Nemo said before kneeling to Nunally as a Knight would their liege.
"I see..." Nunally said as she then tried to drift off to sleep with the silent prayer that she wasn't going crazy.
(That Same Night CC)
CC had been spending a good amount of time going through the memories of her latest Contractors and so far, they have left her... confused. As Ven's memories started to filter in – ones that genuinely perplexed C.C. They showed a society unlike any she had seen before, ones that wore togas like the Greeks of old, but who lived and worked with advanced machinery. No two were alike, and despite their beauty, C.C. could feel them radiate with malice.
More images came of Ven, and several other children like himself with their families boarding a ship that traveled the stars, to seek out a promised land. What followed was memories of being chased, of hiding in cupboards and closets, of doors being sealed, and following it one memory in particular of... something that she could not properly perceive and some sort of deal before it all went white. The Next images that came was the tables turning against the insane of children hunting adults now.
Yet more memories came forth, ones involving needles and operating tables, the kind that C.C. was all too familiar with. A woman bathed in a jade light, leaving behind only a puddle of blood and gristle. A monster of mishappen flesh, wandering through a hospital of sorts. One image in particular haunted the immortal witch: that of herself resting on a bed, with two figures sitting beside her. The one on her right made her feel at peace, but the one on the left, the one with an inhumanly long arm, radiated with malice.
Then came the penultimate memories, ones of war unlike any she had seen or fought. She saw soldiers running into battle, only to be cut down by alien horrors. More beasts of mishappen flesh appeared, fighting the new horrors, yet still losing. Then she saw memories of Lelouch and his sister, both clade in strange armor, battling the eldritch creatures. Fire, lightning, ice and poison flew forth from both, killing the monsters in creative ways. The sequence faded into one memory that sent shivers down her spine: one of the beasts, with a head resembling a bird's skull, moving to impale her on one of its freakishly long arms.
Now arrived the final set of memories, and somehow, they brought both fear and awe. She then saw Ven awaken from his slumber within some kind of pod, surrounded by an army of incredibly ugly men and women. The boy bisected the one who led those warriors, even as he taunted the child. She then saw the boy with another like himself fighting in a strange void, against one like them who seemed to be able to reverse time.
The boy collapsed in front of a child released from a pod hidden among machines resembling a lotus. Images came of the boy as he and his brother and sisters united to fight a woman who looked like a worm using powers she had never seen before. Now she saw the boy kneeling before another armored figure, who seemed to be crying by a peach tree. The scene shifted before she then saw Ven helping the armored figure drive a katana through the long-armed man's gut. She saw the twisted form of the one who had led the boy carry off the dying man into space.
Now the dying man turned into a mixture of human and whatever the alien horrors the children had been fighting. Hidden from his sight, she watched him forge a blade.
Her sifting through the boy's memories ended with her watching the bird-skull monster talking to the boy's former leader (who was apparently bird skull's sister) while the twisted man, now shacked and bound like a slave. But when she saw him drop the leash something did not add up. Then she saw more battle with a hidden message that one of his fellows learned. A message meant for them that their traitor leader had sent and needless to say it had but doubt of her treachery.
"I AM DYING!"
It was only then at the final battle did CC learn the truth. Needless to say, she felt a sort of connection to the woman as she was abused by everyone around her. Her family and her enemies and the children she took in they gave her their love unconditionally and they happily did as she asked out of love for her. Love... pure and equal not what that amalgamation of a man had for her their love was pure. Then, without warning, the memories vanished, replaced with a vaguely human form of golden light, with two dark orbs where its eyes would have been.
"LEAVE!"
(Waking World)
CC's eyes snapped open as she awakened, practically gasping for breath. When her panic finally subsided, she realized that she was still on the building top where she took a small break on. As CC began to rise, she suddenly felt a chill running over her body and as she looked, she felt something amiss. Just then she heard a chuckle sounding eerily like her own. Looking to the source CC was wide eyed when she saw an exact copy of her own staring at her. The double was sitting on top of the door into the building as he smiled down upon her.
She looked to her double and as she looked to her eyes that was when fear began to set in. Within seconds, she was huffing and puffing, and broke out in a cold sweat. This got a laugh from the being. "Well glad to see I still have that sort of effect." The other CC said with a smile on her face as her eyes showed nothing but a swirling abyss. Those eyes were most certainly not one's humans were meant to have.
"Who are you? What are you?" CC asked as she tried to make sense of this.
"That's hard to answer, especially since most of the answers I could offer to you for that question would make no sense." The being said as he then grinned to them. "What I can say is that I was here first." The being said as she leaned forward to get a better look at CC.
"Do you have a name?" CC asked, after she had managed to calm herself and was trying to put on an uncaring façade, like how she normally appeared toward others.
"Oh, don't even try to hide your fear CC after all with the contract you made with the Kiddo, I got a few details on the grand master plan." The being said as he knew exactly what they were doing. "Now I believe we have a matter to discuss." It said as CC's façade fell away with those words. Now there was nothing to mask her fear of thing being.
"What do you want to talk about?" CC asked as she knew something was up.
"Your contract with Ven." It said as CC was suspicious.
"You know him?" She asked finding it very concerning.
"I've known him for a long time. You could say that I am the Kiddo's contractor." The Being said to which CC found this shocking.
"You have a code?" She asked clearly not expecting such a thing.
"No. I merely mean that I have offered him powers in exchange for him fulfilling certain requirements for me." The being said as it now had all the information on the little scheme of the Geass Order.
"Oh. W-well, what do you want discussed?" CC stuttered as she felt a sense of fear reaching her heart.
"Not much. As is, I'm usually rather hands off with my 'contractors' I like to see what choices they make. But I also enjoy pushing them to their mental limits, after all it's what makes him so interesting." The being said before chuckling and leaning back. "Humans are a rather interesting species."
'Well, he isn't human, that's for sure,' CC said remembering the words she shared with him.
"However, I do want one thing made clear." The being said and in turn he vanished.
CC was confused but just as she turned around, she was shocked to find the being a breath away from her. "Don't get in his way because remember I OWN HIM!" The being said and in turn CC fell down and was scooting away from the being. "Are we clear?" He asked glaring down at the Code bearer.
"Crystal." CC said and in turn the being smiled and vanished.
"Then we're done for now but just remember I'm always watching." The beings voice said before it vanished entirely.
(Scene Break the Tenno)
At the Tenno's base of operations in this world Sayak was leaning on the wall as Ven's team was in the mess hall. Eureka had a pair of chopsticks where she was eating her food calmly. Finally, Ava was sitting on top of the table with her arms crossed without a care in the world. "So, what's the deal with this crap anyway." Sayak asked as he had his arms cross and a scowl on his face.
"You're going to have to be more specific, Sayak." Eureka said as she put some food into her mouth and continued to eat.
"I mean why push this whole trial, feels like they grabbed the first Japanese they can get their hands off to make into a scapegoat." Sayak said as Ava then nodded to this.
"That's because they did do that." Ava said and thus Sayak looked confused to this. "You've been away for a bit so I'll try to explain it, basically the Pureblood faction of the Britannian politics think that only Britannians should be allowed to serve in the military." Ava said as Eureka nodded to this.
"With that in mind the fact Clovis died under the watch of the Purebloods their trying to get an iron grip on the military and blame it all on the Japanese because in their mind the Purebloods can do no wrong." Eureka said as Sayak didn't like to hear that.
"So, we got an offshoot of the Orokin Empire only without its Caste system." Sayak said as clearly, he was not happy about this.
"It seems that wherever we go we topple Empires." Eureka said as she ate her food.
"Speaking of toppling Empires where's Ven?" Sayak asked as he noticed Ven was a no show.
"He, said he had something to take care of before leaving." Eureka said as she suspected Ven might try something foolish.
(Scene Break Ven)
Ven stood atop a building with the sun shining down on Excalibur Umbra. Glaring down Ven saw the Britannian's going about their day to day lives. As Ven glared down he clenched his fist coming out here to see if anyone would speak out for Suzaku but clearly that was not the case. It was looking more and more like a public execution to make the Britannians look better as a video played on the TVs to get sympathy for Clovis. But before Ven could ran he felt a presence and thus sighed to it.
"I was wondering when you would show yourself." Ven said as he stood up and glared over to the newly arrived CC.
"What are you exactly?" CC asked as she glared at Ven wanting to know what sort of being she forged a contract with.
"I told you already I am Tenno." Ven said making it clear with his response to her.
"That doesn't answer my question," CC said as Ven can hear in her voice, an almost serious and scared tone can be heard in her tone as he turned towards her and said, "Why do you want to know what I am anyways, as you were never this agitated when we first meet?"
"It's… never mind," CC said as she was afraid to tell him, meeting that double of hers… no that wasn't right, that being that took on her form and pretty much given her a new meaning of fear as she can still remember the words he said to her, 'I'm always watching' with that sending a shiver down her back as Ven takes notice of this, as he can tell something had scared her, an immortal being scared of something was almost laughable but not impossible.
Ven thought to what has cause CC to be afraid from, as Ven looked at CC poster with gesture of her hands, arms, legs, and eyes movement all points to fear, something she never shown while talking about those with similar power to her, so if it wasn't them, then who? With few answer that came to mind with one that would make sense to him as there was one being that most Tenno do fear and that was something greater than them and that was, 'The man in the Wall'.
Ven wanted to ask her but given the situation at hand he needed to focus on the mission he has given himself as he said to her, "Fine then, but what are you doing here anyways?"
"I should be asking you that," CC said to him as Ven soon said, "You already know that the Britannian Empire already has a "suspect" to the death of their Prince, right?"
"You know he not guilty of the crime to the murder then," CC said as she knew the Japanese boy wasn't the murderer, but can guess who is as Ven said to her, "Right, I know who killed the prince but I don't really care if he did murder him or not as the Prince was guilty himself of trying to murder an entire city to keep his secret in the dark on top of planning level Shinjuku anyways one way or another."
"What did you plan on doing anyways, as I see, your all alone, and your friends aren't here with you," CC said with Ven told her, "I was planning on causing a ruckus, killing a few Britannian would be easy to do, no doubt they are just as arrogant as the rest and would kill any person that's not pure blooded as them, while also releasing him in the process and hope he would try to fight me to protect them if he is as much of a Dax that I think he is."
CC didn't know what a Dax was, but she can only assume it's something or someone that would follow blindly to the people or military that rule over them, as she soon said to him, "You don't have to worry about saving him as he already in good hands."
"And how do you know?" Ven asked as CC give a familiar look on her face as it seemed the talking had calm her down a bit as she said, "Because someone else is on their way of saving him already."
Ven could only guess, it was either that guy he had meet when he murdered Clovis, but that was only a guess.
With the sun going down as the night sky came forth, as his attention was now being drawn to the military escort that is escorting Suzaku is at right now being 4 Knightmares Sutherland with many other Sutherland up and down the roads for further protection and a platform that is being used to transport the Japanese boy showing him un the public his face bruised, no doubt they gave him a beaten before all this was set up maybe to help him look like a guilty person, but what Ven saw was an innocent person who is a slave to the system of the empire.
Ven gotten ready as he pull out his bow ready to shoot at the Knightmares if this "Person" doesn't show up in time, as the escort was getting closer Ven ready himself for a shot, as they gotten closer and closer, Ven pull back on the bow as an arrow formed for him with CC a bit intrigue by this as she wonder how Ven is able to form an arrow of pure energy like nothing.
Before he or anyone did anything the escort team suddenly stopped in the middle of the street as Ven thought that was unusual and wonder why they stopped, with his question soon answer by the site of a vehicle coming down the road in front of the escort team.
Ven quickly hack into the military's radios and broadcast signal as he can hear a commotion going on with the Vehicle being the former prince's transport vehicle. Moving closer Ven got a closer look with a enhance image and to Ven surprise. The vehicle was a Junker as he saw the inside as trash, but the outside was well painted to make it look like it was Prince Clovis's car but it's not. no doubt the real one is either lock up somewhere else and this one is just to catch the Britannia empire attention as the leading Knightmare came up with familiar voice from it as Jeramiah said, "How dare you desecrated his highness's transport?! Come out of there!"
Suddenly the flag on the car suddenly burns instantly, flash paper with the empire's crest printed on it, neat trick at least, and behind it was a person dress in black with a dark helmet covering his entire head no doubt to hide his true face as when the person soon spoken up saying, "I am Zero."
"Zero… Is that the name you decided to take up?" Ven said as he recognized the voice, being the voice had heard on the radio during the attack at Shinjuku and sort of meet when he killed Clovis, with CC watch with Ven to see what Lelouch would do next, with everyone around surprise by Zero sudden appearance.
(Tenno)
As the Tenno was watching the escorting on a holographic image with Lotus also watching as well, seeing what is happening as Ava soon spoken up saying, "Zero? What kind dumb name is that? I am Zero Fear me!"
"Maybe it the irony of things maybe?" Sayak Question as Eureka question him on saying, "The irony of what exactly?"
"I don't know, given the empire number all the countries they have taken over or something?" Sayak said as Ava soon said, "Unless this guy is Britannia or something maybe sense they would be the Zero being the start of it, otherwise it doesn't make sense."
"He may be using it for an symbolism," Lotus said as she would know, she took up the name Lotus as a symbol for her love for the Tenno, but for the name Zero, she can only guess the reason thinking this Zero character either see himself as a nobody, someone with a forgotten past or he choose to forget, but either way this guy Zero was standing before the Britannia Military with some sort of plan unknown to everyone watching.
(Escort)
"I've seen enough Zero. This little show of yours is over" Jeramiah said as he exited his Sutherland with his pistol drawn and shot into the air, signaling the other Sutherland to drop all around the transport as Ven drew his bow again ready to "Help" to say the least as Jeramiah said, "Now first things first, why not lose that mask?"
With Zero reaching his hand up to his mask as it seemed he was about to pull it off, then suddenly he raised his hand and snap his fingers as the back of the transport vehicle pop open reviling what was inside being the container that CC was in as Ven lower his bow and said, "Hu, cleaver."
"What do you mean?" CC said as Ven soon tells her, "Well Clovis came up with a cover story for your prison container and said it was poison Gas, pretty much lying to the military with his own personal troop only knew the truth about it, but sense they are all gone no one but us and him know there is no poison gas and pulling a big bluff."
No doubt the bluff is working as Jeramiah was sweating in fear with all the other military personnel was very worried thinking it was poison gas they dare not shoot or else risk leaking the container as Jeramiah said, "You bastard."
He soon points his Pistol at Zero with his hand shaking in fear no doubt as Zero question him, "Do you intend to shoot? I think you know full well you can't."
"Fine, what are your demands," Jeramiah said as he knew he couldn't risk it as Zero soon said to him, "An exchange, this for Kururugi."
"Like hell! He's charge with high treason for murdering a prince, I can't hand him over," Jeramiah said not letting the Japanese boy go as Zero said to him, "No your mistaken Jeramiah. He's no murderer."
Down at the streets as a guy with a camera rush over to get a closer look at Zero as he broadcast the view live for everyone to hear as Zero said out loud, "The man who killed Clovis was myself."
Everyone gasp at this as everyone look to Zero in fear now with Ven wonder if Zero; was being smart or reckless about announcing that to everyone… probably both as Zero went on saying, "For a single 11, you save scores of Precious Britannia's. I find that to be a bargain."
"He's mad; I tell you, disguising this truck as his Highnesses. He'll pay the price for mocking the crown!" Jeramiah said with everyone soldier ready their weapon as they pointed them at Zero as he quickly said, "Careful now, you don't want the people to learn of Orange, do you?"
Ven did know to face palm or laugh at that idiotic idea Zero just made up, as the Tenno has been keeping an ear out for any secret project someone would have, that being every high ranking officer of the military maybe hiding one, including Jeramiah and Orange just sound ridiculous as some soldier question about this wonder 'what is Orange?' of the like.
Zero tap his foot on the car as the driver moves closer to Jeramiah as Ven can only guess Zero is planning on using his Geass power to control Jeramiah, he just needed to get closer to make correct eye contact as Zero went on saying, "If I die it will all go public, if you don't want that to happen…"
"What are you talking about, what is this?" Jeramiah question him of the nonsense, but before he could say anything else, Zero's helmet suddenly opened up a bit reviling a single eye as he activated his Geass and order him, "You'll do everything in your power to let us go, your prisoner as well."
With that Jeramiah was under the trance as his eyes glow slightly red as he suddenly said, "Right understood. You there release the prisoner."
With that Ven knew Zero is going to wrap this up soon as the two soldiers were confused of what was going on with Jeramiah keep ordering the soldier to release the Japanese boy with everyone confused and protest to him and saying what is he thinking as suddenly Suzaku was let go as he walk over to Zero. As Suzaku was about to say something the collar around his neck shocked him preventing him to say anything with Zero said, "As I thought, they didn't allow you to speak."
Suddenly the truck part of the transport transform into a humanoid machine, the body of an early Knightmare of some sort maybe. Meanwhile Miss Villetta had readied her Knightmare preparing to stop the group from leaving, the driver of the truck came up next to Zero and said, "It's time to go Zero."
"Well then until next time," Zero said as he pulls out a control switch and press a button, activating the container as it released red smoke. No doubt its purpose was made clear as it began scaring everyone and caused a panic as Villetta came in to shoot at them as she said, "You cowardly ele-
Before she could finish what, she was saying Jeramiah tackle her, cause a commotion letting Zero, Suzaku, and his cohort get away as they jump up away with that machine suddenly shot a trampoline for the 3 to jump onto across the bridge they were on.
As a Knightmare came up to shoot them, suddenly an energy arrow was shot at the weapon of the Knightmare, blowing it up which surprise not only them but, Zero, as well who saw this. Looking up where it came from all he saw was a figure vanishing into the shadows as he said, "Was that him?"
At that moment they escape with Ven soon tell CC, "Well I guess you were right."
"Was there any doubt?" CC ask him as Ven said to her, "Just a bit, but now we need to get out of here, no doubt they saw that."
Suddenly Ven picks her up, surprising CC by this as she said to him, "What are you?"
"Just hand on," Ven said as he suddenly started running very fast with CC hang onto Ven very tightly as they soon leap across building and over streets with CC could not believe she was seeing this and wonder what the hell is a Tenno?
(With Zero)
Zero had taken Suzaku to an abandon building within the Ghettos as a resistant member said to him, "Man I didn't really think you could do it,"
"Man, who is this guy?" Another resistant member asked as 3rd member said, "That's crap! How many times can a bluff like that work anyways?"
"Well, you got to give the guy some credit thou," Ohgi said as he went on saying, "I got to admit it, no one else could have pull that off. Not the Japanese liberation front, and certainty not me. We always thought that a full-on war with Britannia wasn't a possibility at all, but maybe with him, it is."
Kallen who was the driver for Zero look surprise by her leader by saying that. Kallen then looked over to Zero as he was talking with Suzaku as Zero said to him, "It looks like they treated you rather roughly. Now you know what they are really like private Kururugi, Britannia is Rotten, if you wish to bring change to this world, then join me."
Zero offer Suzaku a change to join forces with him as the Japanese boy said to him, "So is it true, are you really the one that killed Prince clovis?"
"This is war, why wouldn't I kill an enemy commander?" Zero said to him as Suzaku soon question him again, "And the Gas? Those were civilians out there"
"A bluff to help things along, the result not a single death," Zero said to him as Suzaku took this a wrong way as he said, "The result? That all that matters to you I suppose."
"Come join me the Britannia you serve is a worthless dominion." Zero offered but Suzaku had other ideas.
"Maybe that's true... but this nation can be changed for the better and from within." Suzaku said as he made it clear where he stood on this. Unaware to this Zero was wide eyed to Suzaku's words. "And any ends gained through contemptable means aren't worth anything." Suzaku said unaware that he was proving Zed correct on Suzaku being a Dax.
"Wait! Where are you going?" Zero asked as he looked down to where Suzaku was.
"My court-martial begins in an hour." Suzaku said as he walked away no doubt to face his destiny.
Zero growled to this while clenching his fist over Suzaku's actions. "Are you mad!?" Zero asked shocked that Suzaku would do this. "The only reason they are giving you a trial is find you guilty! The Judge, the prosecution, and the defense!"
"Rules are rules." Suzaku said stopping for but a moment. "And if I don't go, they'll start cracking down on Elevens and Honorary Britannians." Suzaku said as he knew he had to do it less his fellow Elevens be made to suffer for it.
"But you'll die!" Zero yelled knowing full well that Suzaku was walking to his doom.
"I don't mind." Suzaku said showing he was not afraid of death.
"Don't be an idiot!" Zero snapped as he was trying to keep Suzaku from dying.
"An old friend of mine always used to tell me that. He'd say I was a fool." Suzaku recounted as he still didn't know if his friend and that girl were alive or not. "It's my weakness, I guess." Suzaku admitted before he then then turned around. "I'd try to bring you in, but you'd probably end up killing me if I tried." Suzaku confessed before he turned back around. "And if I'm going to die, it'll be in the service of the people. Even so, I thank you for saving me" Suzaku said before he resumed walking and eventually, he left leaving only Zero there.
(Meanwhile with Nunally)
Nunnally heard everything going on in the news and smiled as she heard how Suzaku's guilt had been called into questions. Truly it was a wonderful thing as now Nunally had nothing else to fear... except maybe. Taking a small glance, she saw Nemo still there beholden to only to Nunnally and no other. Just then the door opened and in turn Nunally glanced her head to where the noise came from. "Miss Sayoko?" Nunally greeted as she looked to the pair of beings hiding in the shadow. From the shadows Ven in his Warframe, Excalibur Umbra accompanied by CC stepped forward, but it was Ven who spoke first.
"No but I have been looking for you... Nemo." Ven said causing both Nunally and Nemo to go wide eyed in shock. Nemo growled as she looked ready to attack as she knew her Geass would activate if she summoned the Mark Nemo. Meanwhile Ven had his own Geass active and thus saw the invisible being who looked ready to attack Ven if he makes a threat of himself. A Princess of the Holy Empire had at last met the Tenno of the Void, now the question remained if this would result in peace or war.
