(Start Train Ride)
On a train on its route to the Kawaguchi Convention Center a trio of Ashford Students were seen in a compartment. "This is the first time I've gone this far out of the Tokyo Settlement!" Shirley commented with a smile on her face while looking through a window on a train with her friends Milly and Nina.
"It would've been nice if Lelouch had come along, wouldn't it?" Teased Milly which made her flinch shyly as she knew full well that Shirley liked Lelouch, so she constantly teased her about it. "Don't be embarrassed. Didn't we agree that tonight we'll talk about men we like until dawn?" Milly waved off most likely teasing Shirley again.
"Madam President do you have such a person?" Shirley asked with her voice quiet enough for her to hear.
"Who knows?" Milly said playful tone in her voice shard with the look on her face.
When the train passed through a tunnel, Nina flinched and clenched her hands on her shirts in fear. She is an intelligent and shy girl, but has xenophobia; fear of foreigners, it is unknown what caused her to dislike and fear foreign people, especially to the "Elevens" Milly of course put her hands on Nina's trying to comfort her. "It's alright. There are a lot of Britannian tourists in Kawaguchi, so the security is good there. It's not scary like the Ghetto" Milly assured Nina unaware of a select few who saw the darkness this shy girl kept hidden.
"But…" Nina began but was cut off by Milly instead.
"We're here for you. We won't leave you behind this time." Milly supported her like any friend would.
"O-Okay" Nina said as she slowly relaxed and let out a small smile. Once the train exited the tunnel, it showed again the Mt Fuji, several buildings and fields. Shirley looked outside happily and excited. It was going to be a wonderful day.
(Scene Break the Tenno)
The Tenno were enjoying a bit of down time as they were on their own personal platform. The fortress the Man in the Wall left for them had everything they needed and with the newly added allies from the Saitama Ghetto they now had more positions filled. On the Tenno's personal Platform that could only be accessed via the primary command platform the Tenno were in varying states of swim wear having a ball.
Sayak, Zeeka, Amaros, and Ava were playing Lunaro as it was Sayak and Ava vs Zeeka and Amaros. As they played their game Ven, and Eureka were reading up on a few things about this world to the side lines as the two teams went at it. Nearby a TV was playing as Ven and Eureka continued to do their own thing. "Our numbers are growing by the day." Eureka said as their latest mission brought them several new recruits.
"I know it was fortunate that we have these numbers to help boaster our own." Eureka said as she sat on a lounge chair. "Ghost Squad is still away performing hit and runs while freaking the locals out as a ghost ship." Eureka said remembering those three. "And other squads are forced to remain silent in their attacks against the Britannians and all of which we've yet to catch anything on the net we set out." Eureka said calmly as she read her book.
"It's unfortunate but we need to be patient." Ven said knowing full well how things could go wrong if they just charge in without considering their options and what their actions can cause. "After all, Zero killed Clovis and almost cost an innocent man his life." Ven said as he focused on the TV when he noticed something. "Huh?" Ven asked when he saw what was playing on the TV opting the others to swarm in as well.
(Meanwhile with Zero)
Ohgi and his group arrived to find a giant vehicle after a summons from Zero. The door was opened and thus when he was in front of the door, it automatically opened surprising him and rest.
"What's wrong? Hurry up and get in" Zero was heard as Ohgi peeked inside and saw Zero on the right side, sitting in the middle of a large green sofa.
Eventually everybody entered the vehicle as Zero continued to speak. "From now on, this shall be our base." Zero said as his new recruits began to take a look around.
"So, I take it you're willing to cooperate with us?" Ohgi asked with a bit of concern over the situation.
"Yes. Were comrades after all." Zero assured them as he sat on his seat.
"This is amazing. What is all of this?" Tamaki asked amazed while looking how spacious is the vehicle.
"How did you get this?" Ohgi asked sharing Tamaki's question.
"Corrupt aristocrats are willing to give me whatever I request." Zero responded which basically summarized to him knowing people.
"Request? It's that simple?" One of the group members asked with an unsure tone.
"Don't worry no strings attached." Zero said as the Rebels continued to look around.
"Hey, hey. There's a second story too." Yoshida called out while looking through the second floor.
"Isn't this vehicle a bit too big?" Asked another one as he saw the vehicle had a second story.
"But they may not suspect a hideout to be this conspicuous." Kallen said as she gave their hideout a look over.
"There's a television in here too." Minami said as he sat down on the sofa and turned on the TV.
"Is there anything going on out there?" A male voice spoke with an alarmed tone on the TV.
"What is it?" Kallen asked while looking at the TV and in turn everyone saw a news story being played.
"Yes. I'm reporting from in front of the Kawaguchi Convention Center Hotel. The hotel hijackers claim to be from the Japanese Liberation Front. They have taken Chairman James, the members attending the conference on the division of Sakuradite, tourists who were around there and several staff members as hostages." A female reporter said from the site as everyone watched in shock at what was happening.
"This is the video that the culprits sent to us. Several students can be seen here along with Chairman James" On the TV it showed a small footage of many soldiers armed and the hostages has their hands on their head.
"The student council…" Kallen said with a worried tone as she saw that her friends were amongst the hostages. But when Kallen said this her words caused Zero to perk up a bit over what she said.
(With Nunally)
"The leader of the claims to be Lieutenant Colonel Kusakabe of the now defuncted Japanese Military." The woman spoke as Nunally and Alive saw this with Alive giving it a concerned look with Nemo simply glaring still unseen by everyone but Nunally. Nemo then growled as she saw that Lelouch's friends were there and were no doubt in danger.
(Outside the Convention Center)
"Sakuradite is essential in the manufacturing of high temperature super-conductive substance. It directly affects the national security of the world and is an important war resource. This place, Area 11, is the world's largest production zone of Sakuradite. It supplies up to 70% of the markets demands." The newswoman said as it was clear that may be the target for this hostage situation.
"The national Sakuradite Conference is held here every year in order to deice the ratio of Sakuradite each country is allotted. The result is said to determine the power balance between Britannia and the other countries. The terrorists were probably aware of the international attention being placed on this conference and have thus carried out his bold act of hotel hijacking." Informed the reporter, while the hotel was surrounded by the Britannian army.
On the streets that connects to the bridge of Kawaguchi convention center there was a young Japanese teenage boy with an orange Britannian uniform named Kururugi Suzaku staring at the building. He was waiting for the engineers Lloyd and Cecil to prepare the Lancelot, so he could get in and save his friends.
(Meanwhile with the Hostages)
In a giant storage room, which is used as the room for the hostages, the people were being held in a circular formation with the Japanese soldiers surrounding them. Suddenly, a Japanese with a large brown beard entered the room with two guards.
"I am Kusakabe of the Japanese Liberation Front. We have stood up for the independence of Japan." Kusakabe announced as he glared at the Britannians. "Ladies and gentlemen, even though you aren't soldiers, you're Britannians. The ones who rule over us." Kusakabe said as Nina started to cry and holding onto Milly. "Be obedient and all will be well, or else!" Kusakabe warned making his threat to the group clear.
"Lulu." Shirley muttered fear evident in her voice. Kusakabe and the Japanese soldiers left the room, leaving only 4 soldiers to guard the hostages.
(With the Tenno)
Ven and his team were already meeting with the Lotus as she was going over the data. "We can't let them do this!" Ven called out as he led the charge while the Lotus considered things.
"I know." Lotus said as she made the new recruits clear on how they operated and while many would not agree she was planning a rescue operation. "But we can use this to announced ourselves as well." Lotus said and thus the Tenno saw where this was going.
"We're finally going global?" Sayak asked with a grin on his face.
"About time." Amaros said with a grin that mimicked Sayak's.
"So, you have a plan, Lotus?" Eureka asked as she looked to their handler.
"I may have a few." Lotus said and thus the Tenno prepared to deploy into battle. "I will need to make a call." Lotus added as she knew who will be leading this little operation.
(Back at the Hotel)
Princess Cornelia was in charge of the operation. Knowing her well, she would just storm in by force and eliminate the threat. But she decided not to, for her sister, Euphemia li Britannia, was amongst the hostages.
Right now, she is in her Mobile base with officers trying to come up with a plan to save the hostages.
She looked calm, but inside she was angered, yesterday she interrogated the surviving soldiers from the ambush orchestrated by Zero, as wells as the purist faction. The soldiers told her that during the attack they saw several soldiers with their face covered with balaclava and dressed in a strange outfit that resembled to a resistance group. They were armed with weapons that are deadlier than any firearms that Britannia possessed. It was like if someone improved it.
Cornelia wanted to investigate this further if this group was related to Zero, but now the JLF hijacked the hotel with her sister amongst the hostages. She decided to settle the hijackers first and then keep investigating. Once she finds out who they are, she will punish them and execute them for killing many soldiers and disgracing the power of Britannia during the Saitama Ghetto invasion.
"All of the bridges that link to the hotel have been destroyed, except for the main one." An officer with Andreas spoke as he detailed what they do know thus far. "Attempts to approach via the air and the water have been unsuccessful." Informed one of the officers while the screen displayed images of the unsuccessful attempts. turning to Cornellia the officer had one more plan they could employ. "There is only one route left the will allow us to develop a possible hostage rescue plan." The officer said and while Cornelia watched intently her interest peaked.
"The main utilities tunnel running directly under the convention center hotel. If we used that in our operation, we could destroy the foundation block and sink the hotel." The Officer said as this was their best and only plan. "Since this tunnel is used to deliver stock, a Sutherland might be able to fit through it. The enemy is most likely prepared, but there shouldn't be any problem." The Officer explained unaware how he was about to eat his words.
(Meanwhile in the Tunnel)
the Japanese Liberation Front saw the Sutherlands on their scanners and knew it was show time. Unknown to the Sutherland pilots the JLF had mounted a modified cannon composed of 4 Knightmare Frames at the entrance of the tunnel.
"Enemy sighted. They're coming in from the path below as expected" Japanese soldier reported from inside one of the Knightmares.
"Understood. Raikou unit 2 activated. The four linked support structures on both sides are in position. Superconducting maglev style shrapnel cannon, energy confirmed." The Japanese soldier said from behind the seat of previous Japanese soldier.
Meanwhile with the incoming Sutherlands, one of them activated their factosphere and got some info on what they were dealing with. "It looks like these guys have Knightmare rifles, spread out and break through." One of the Sutherland pilots commanded making his order clear.
Of course, this would be for not as the Raikou operators were prepared for this. "Super Electro Magnetic Shrapnel Canon FIRE!" The gun man called out and thus pulled the trigger. The Bullet launched and while it went at high speed it broke apart and sent out smaller bullets that hit all the Knightmares in one fell swoop.
(In the Hotel)
The JLF saw the entire move play out as they grinned over the victory. "They did it!" One of the Japanese soldiers cried out in joy.
"With just one blow!" Another added as Kusakabe saw it play out.
"The Raikou was a complete success!" A third said to his commanding officer.
"What do you think of that, Britannian pigs." Kusakabe taunted with a triumphant tone in his voice
(Cornellia)
"Wiped out!?" Andreas asked in shock over what he just heard.
"It looks as though they modified a Glasgow into a linear canon." A General spoke and in turn panic began to set in.
"Are you saying that it's impossible to penetrate their defenses?" Another officer in the room commented.
"What should we do? Should we give into their demands and release the political criminals…" Another suggested with a hopeless tone but was interrupted by the rough voice of Cornelia.
"We can't show weakness to terrorists!" Cornellia roared refusing to give them what they want.
"But Princess Euphemia she's..." Guilford urged as he whispered into Cornelia's ear.
"Yes, I know." Cornelia said as she growled to this still sore over her previous defeat to the Tenno.
"Thus far it seems that none of them have discovered that fact." Andreas said as he turned to face Cornellia. "If they learn that Princess Euphemia is among the hostages, they'll undoubtedly use her as a bargaining chip." Andreas said and in turn their communications started to gain static. "W-what?" Andreas asked as the communications were being hacked into by someone. Just then the symbol of a Lotus flower began to appear on their screens.
"We meet again Cornellia." Lotus spoke as the Princess glared at the Lotus's symbol.
"You." Cornellia growled as she silently signaled for her staff to start tracing the call.
"Fear not I am not here to fight but to offer my Tenno's assistance in this matter." Lotus said surprising the group who heard this.
"And why would you aid us in rescuing Britannian civilians." Cornelia demanded as she glared at the symbol.
"There is a difference between civilians and a soldier. What you sent at us were enemy soldiers, so we responded as needed. What the JLF have are innocent civilians whose lives are in danger." Lotus said and thus Cornellia had an argument.
"And what gives you the idea that we will accept your aid?!" Cornellia demanded as the Lotus had two reasons for that.
"Because one your sister is in there and two because if my calculations are correct the longer you delay the more likely that we will have civilians being used to make a point." The Lotus said making it clear that the JLF will very well sacrifice the hostages to get their point across. "We can spend as much time as you like arguing while your staff tries to isolate my location." The Lotus spoke causing the Staff to go wide eyed that she already knew what they were doing.
"As it stands you have two options the Lancelot or my Tenno." Lotus said as Cornellia was adamant about this.
"Even if I did accept your offer for aid, we've already tried an insertion by land and sea that tunnel and by extension the Lancelot is our best shot." Cornellia said but Lotus chuckled to this.
"Then it would seem you need to have your forces develop a black ops team." Lotus said as this surprised Cornellia especially since they already had such a team in place. "The insertion from air is your best bet but instead of a vehicle landing remove the vehicle and have the troops land on their own." Lotus said and thus Cornellia was shocked and slightly horrified by this.
"That's suicide!" Cornellia said but it was Andreas who saw the logic.
"Not without proper equipment." Andreas said as he was surprised by the suggestion. "A Black Ops team capable of near suicide missions would have had no trouble getting in undetected if they performed a paratrooper drop from a high enough altitude. they would be too small to see or be detected until after they already landed." Andreas said as this surprised Cornellia.
"She might be on to something your majesty but regrettably we lack the tools for such an operation." A general said as the parachute would have given them away in a heartbeat.
"A glider suit would have been a far simpler piece of equipment to invest it." Lotus said as this got the groups attention. "Consider that a tidbit of free advice." Lotus said and thus Cornellia looked and saw they were short on options.
"Where are you and how fast can you get here?" Cornellia asked through gritted teeth showing she did NOT like this and did NOT want to do this, but the Lotus played her cards well.
"We can begin the operation at nightfall less chances of detection that way." Lotus said and thus Cornellia agreed to the plan in question. "Worry not... none of this will be traced back to you." The Lotus added with a subtle hint that they owed her for this.
(Scene Break with the Tenno)
"Ok we have our mission." Ven spoke as the Tenno were gathered around a table to discuss their strategy to get into the hotel undetected. Ven was still using Umbra but there were differences with his team. Other than Umbra Ven also had the Burston Prime rifle and the Twin Grahkata side arms for his weapons. Ava was using Nyx Prime this time around, the Warframe's psycho-based abilities would be helpful in avoiding detection as well as calming any minds on the mission. Hikou Prime was a weapon ideal as it was quiet and silent and the melee weapons the Scindo Prime, and a rifle to bring it together, Boltor Prime. Eureka went with Mesa Prime with her main gear for her, Baza Prime for the rifle, and the AkSomati Prime for her side arms. Her weapon for melee combat was Fang Prime daggers since she wanted to be silent during this mission like the others. Sayak however had opted to use Limbo Prime with the Orvius Prime glaive weapon, and his ranged weapons were the Latron Prime rifle with the Lex Prime side arm.
"Our first priority is to secure the civilians." Ven began as he looked to the group. "After comparing the news image with maps of the hotel we have confirmed that the hostages are held on this floor." Ven spoke pointing to the now highlighted floor in which the hostages are being held. "Our mission is a rescue operation our means of entry is a high-altitude insertion via our Landing Crafts." Ven said as the image of the landing crafts appeared before them as said crafts flew overhead in the hologram.
"Once we've made the insertion, we're to move our way downward avoiding detection and eliminating the JLF forces as we do so." Ven said as a path formed in the map showing their means to get to the hostages. "Once the Hostages are secured, we are to make our way downward to the ground floor for extraction." Ven added pointing to where they would be going.
"Yeah, why is the Lotus only deploying one team for an Ops like this?" Sayak asked with his hands raised as he had questions.
"Because she believes Zero will show himself and considering the sort of name, he made for himself..." Ven trailed off and thus Ava figured it out.
"A distraction." Ava said with a smile on her face seeing where this was going.
"In a way yes, it is. And it's one we can use to our advantage." Eureka said rubbing her Warframes chin in contemplation.
"Precisely." Ven confirmed as he figured Zero might have a plan for how to pull this off. He wasn't certain but he knew that it involved boats somehow and most likely high explosives.
"So; Zero, will have boats for the hostages guess he finally got some allies if he does." Sayak said and thus they all knew the mission.
"Now then let's move." Ven said and thus they were off to save some lives.
(Scene Break Suzaku that evening)
"Those teenage hostages are from your school aren't they? they are still negotiation, so let not give up on hope yet," Cecile said Suzaku while she and Suzaku did some maintenance for Lancelot while also listening on the radio and watching event from the live view on a screen as Suzaku said, "I have faith in the system, I prefer the logic of system to individual emotions."
Cecile could help but smile to Suzaku's personality, believing that the system that Britannia created will save the day, but knew well enough it's just foolish thinking, then suddenly when on screen showing what was happening as Suzaku said, "Miss Cecile look!"
Seeing what is happening at the top of the hotel as 4 Japanese soldiers had one of the hostages as they lead him to the edge of the roof itself as Cecile said, "what are they going to do to him?"
"Don't do it!" Suzaku said as he knew what they were going to do, but before anyone could do anything, one of the soldiers push the hostage off the roof with reports going crazy to what they are seeing as Suzaku said, "NOO!"
(During the fall)
The man who was just push off the roof started to scream out as he started to fall, as the ground quickly came up while passing the trees on the way down, unaware to anyone as a thin black rope net was place around below tree branches, so as the man who was about to hit the ground suddenly hit the net instead and sprang back up, scared and shocked by all this as he saw his life flash before his eyes for a moment then with tears forming.
Nearby as one of the Tenno was hidden while watching the event going on as they said, "A hostage is secured, I repeat a hostage is secure."
"Good work Tenno, now get the hostage to safety without causing a scene," the Lotus said as the Tenno went, "Roger that."
The Tenno pull out a dart rifle that is mostly used for animal capture for relocation as the Tenno said, "This may sting a bit but I'm sure you'll be just fine after this Mr. Hostage."
"What-" The hostage started to say when they heard a voice but was quickly silent and black out a dart shot out and hit the guy's neck instantly put him to sleep as the Tenno said, "Okay now onto the next part."
(Cornelia's mobile base)
The leader of the Japanese Liberation Front soldier suddenly called up Cornellia telling them the reason why they push a hostage off the roof as he said, "Our demand has come unanswered, there for we will throw one hostage from the roof every hour until our terms are meet, for the sake of the hostages, negotiation Better be in good faith."
Cutting to the halls of the mobile base as Cornellia and two her knights came down it as Andreas said, "This is their warning? Barbarians!"
"Should we continue to wait for these monster that call themselves Tenno to save them, we should negotiate for the women and children," Gilbert said as Cornellia snap at him saying, "Forget it! You give into their condition even once then your simply legitimizing terrorism!"
"If they don't show then do, we use force," Andreas said as suggestion any alternative options to take as the other knight reminded him as he said, "We will pursue that action after we secure the safety of princess Euphemia."
Cornellia growled to herself as she was deathly worried for her sister. But before Cornellia could ponder their next course of action a man came from a door with a look of frantic panic on his face. "Viceroy It's Zero!" The grunt called out as he looked to Cornellia and her entourage getting their attention on him. "We just got a message from Zero." The man said as Cornellia growled a bit.
"This day just keeps getting better and better." Cornellia growled her voice dripping with sarcasm as she said it.
(Meanwhile with Zero)
Zero stood atop a news van that he had stolen for himself and his crew. Using his Geass he was able to acquire this vehicle and thus they were now driving right up to the blockade keeping them out of the Hotel. If all goes according to plan, then Cornellia would be showing herself right about now.
Thus, it held truth as Cornellia drove her personal Gloucester up to him and exit the cockpit after her forces surrounded the stolen news van. "So, Zero, we meet at last. Have you thrown your lot in with the Japanese Liberation Front, or perhaps you wish to aid us?" Cornellia called out but she had more to give.
"None of that matters now, though. Clovis' honor must be avenged!" Cornelia called out as she already had her mind made up. Without missing a beat, she drew her gun-saber and took aim.
But of course, she would have opened fire if; Zero, had not countered her. "Oh, is it Clovis that matters most to you now? Or is it Euphemia?" Zero asked making it clear where he stood on this situation. When Zero saw Cornellia freeze up it was clear that he hit a nerve on her. The first task was completed thus came the second task for his victory. "It is within my power to save Euphemia, if you are willing to trust me." Zero said as Cornelia was surprised by this.
Cornelia thought that over for a moment. She had no reason to trust Zero, but at the same time, allowing him through might buy time for the hostages...and Zero didn't know about the tunnel below the hotel. And if the Tenno were to be trusted they might already be inside the building. Yes, that could work one stone and three birds
(Meanwhile with the Tenno)
With the first hostage saved Ven knew that it was time to act. Thus, as their landing crafts hovered over the ground the four Tenno deployed into battle. Heading downward the four Tenno sailed down through the air to the building below. They were small enough that the JLF would not detect them until it was too late. As the Tenno went down, they had their target and made sure not to lose sight of it otherwise they would have to climb their way back up instead of going down.
"Sayak Ava you two take point B, Eureka and I will take Point A." Ven spoke as they continued their free fall. "We'll rendezvous somewhere in the middle where the Hostages are." Ven said and thus they began to split up.
"Right." Ava and Sayak said and thus they managed to maneuver themselves off the ledge heading further down for a pincer maneuver to rescue the hostages.
Once Ven and Eureka hit the ground the two went to a hiding spot making sure they were clear. Ven then signaled for Eureka to start moving and thus the two Tenno began their mission to rescue the hostages.
(Meanwhile with Sayak and Ava)
The two Tenno sailed down to the ground as they passed by the area the hostages were said to be located at. Once they got to a sufficient enough spot, they flipped their bodies and grounded against the stone walls between the windows. Once they were slowed enough, they swung into the room shattering the glass and thus trained their guns at the hotel room.
"Clear!" Sayak called out as they holstered their weapons a bit.
"We better start moving I get the feeling we're about to make some new friends." Ava said as she had her weapon ready for battle.
"Tenno." the Lotus spoke getting the squads attention. "I have confirmation that Zero is in the vicinity our assumption of his arrival was spot on." Lotus spoke and thus the Tenno knew they had an edge now. "One more thing I suspect Cornellia will try to hit the support beams holding the Hostages by employing the use of the Lancelot if that is the case, they might have developed a new weapon for it." Lotus said and thus it was clear what was to happen. "Alpha Team is moving to acquire transportation for the Hostages as well as acquire the data for this possible new weapon." Lotus spoke making it clear that there was a lot of pieces in play here.
"Understood." Sayak said and thus they got ready to move.
(Back with the Britannians)
Zero was allowed passage into the Hotel just as was suspected and just as the Lotus had anticipated Cornellia was going to wipe all her enemies out in one fell swoop. But while the Lancelot was being prepped Alpha Team was already in the area as they quietly moved through the army to where the Lancelot was stored.
Upon arrival they saw that the Lancelot did in fact have a new weapon equipped and thus it fell to the Tenno to get the schematics for it. So, it was a simple matter of using their Parazon to jack into the system and a Cipher attachment to hack into it in less than a second. They acquired the data on the new weapon as well as data on possible plans to give the Knightmares the ability of flight. They had 20 minutes to get this done more than enough time to get it done and get out undetected.
(Later inside the Hotel)
The two teams of Tenno quietly moved through the Hotel keeping out of sight while moving to their rendezvous point where the hostages were located. Both teams tried to be silent but a few times they had to kill a guard who noticed them and silence him before he could alert the JLF of their presence in the hotel.
Outside the Food Storage room, the Tenno arrived outside it and looked ready to move. "Once we bust in chances are they'll be aware of us." Ven said as they stood outside the door ready to move in and take out the JLF and free the hostages. "Ava Eureka you two take the vents Sayak and I will take the door." Ven said and thus the two Tenno were ready to deploy.
(Inside the Food Storage Room)
Nina, Shirley, and Milly watched as Zero and his guests were invited into the building. Wordlessly, Zero was taken to meet with Kusakabe, while the rest of his forces waited in other rooms, not that it made any of the trio calm down. Nina, in particular, was having trouble keeping herself calm. Finally, she hit her breaking point when one of the guards walked by her.
"An Eleven…" Nina said in a scared tone which served to anger the terrorist.
"What did you say?!" The Terrorist snapped as he glared at Nina for using that word. In response Nina whined and buried her face on the shirt of Milly frightened. "We're not Elevens we're Japanese dammit!" The Terrorist yelled as he glared at Nina.
"Yes, we're aware of that so just lay off of her!" Milly snapped as she glared at the Terrorist in front of her.
"Then correct her we're not called Elevens!" The Soldier yelled as he was not going to let some random brat, call him that damn word.
"Fine we'll correct her!" Shirley snapped as she tried to defend Nina.
But the Terrorist did not like the tone he just used. "How dare you speak like that to me! You three come with me to the next room and I'll teach you a real lesson!" The Terrorist yelled and in turn he just triggered the Tenno. Just then the vent broke open and from it, Ava and Eureka came down and opened fire on the Terrorists. They of course never saw it coming and in turn were unable to react fast enough. Ava then charged in and swung the Scindo Prime Axe and cleaved through the Terrorist that was yelling at the girls. His blood stained the wall and some of the victims in it as he had no time to react.
"Is everyone alright?" Eureka asked as she looked to the people in the room.
"Y-yes thank you." Milly said as she had some of the blood on her face while Nina had a full frontal of Ava's savagery. Ava saw this and sighed before kneeling down to Nina and putting the index and middle fingers of both of her hands on Nina's temples. Nina flinched at first but then felt her mind being calmed by an exterior force. Ava was using Nyx to calm Nina down because a panicked rescue target was a detrimental one to the mission.
"Ok that should keep her calm for the next hour or so." Ava said as she got back up ready to move. "Does anyone have a cloth or a towel?" Ava asked and thus a pink haired young woman raised her hand.
"Here!" She called out offering the cloth. In turn Ava proceeded to wipe off the blood from Nina who was surprised that one of the alleged monsters of Shinjuku was helping her. "Ok good as new." Ava said and thus tossed the cloth and in turn got ready to escort the hostages to safety.
Just then the door opened up and everyone panicked when they saw two Japanese terrorist on the other side. But then their horror turned to shock when they fell over with slit throats showing they were recently killed judging from the blood pooling on the ground. On the other side Ven walked in with Sayak as Ven was retracting his Parazon after cleaning it of his victim's blood.
"Are all the hostages accounted for?" Ven asked as he looked to the many hostages in the room.
"Yeah, that should be all of them including the unnamed VIP." Eureka said keeping the Princess identity hidden for the time being.
"Good." Ven said and then looked to the Hostages. "We're going to escort you all out of here follow our instructions and keep your heads down." Ven said making it clear that they will get out of here as long as they followed the Tenno's instructions. "Priestess you and I will take point, Beast and Madness you two take the rear." Ven said using code names for the mission and thus the Tenno looked to the Hostages. "Stay between the two sides and you will all be able to get out of here alive." Ven said and thus they got ready to move out.
(Meanwhile with Zero and Kusakabe)
Meanwhile up in another room, Zero, was discussing with Kusakabe about the possibility of him joining the Black Knight, as well as releasing the hostages. So far it was not looking favorable for Zero in this regard.
"So, you have no intentions of allying with me?" Zero said concluding what he had learned during their entire conversation.
"Remove that mask and reveal your real face to us, its disrespectful not to." Kusakabe said as he wanted to see who Zero really was.
"I understand but before I do, I'd like to ask you something." Zero said making his request clear before he 'removed his mask,' for the JLF. "What exactly do you hope to accomplish by this action?" Zero asked as he wanted to see how Kusakabe would respond to this honest question.
"To gain attention, I want this country and the world to know that the Japanese aren't dead yet." Kusakabe said and thus Zero got what he needed to know.
"How stale," Zero said to the general as that took the man by surprise and upset by Zero words as Zero went on saying, "You people are obsolete, there's is no saving you."
"What?! why you arrogant," A solider of the JFL said, no doubt pissed off by zero saying their method are practically worthless which they are as the general soon ask zero, "Explain of what you mean by that, zero?"
(Lancelot)
"E.M boost," Suzaku said as he was preparing to launch as Cecile soon said, "Lancelot Now launching!"
Soon enough Lancelot took off like a drag car as it sped down the tunnel. Meanwhile down the way the JFL troops with the cannon take notice of the Knightmare on their radar as one guy said, "Reaction confirm, one enemy Knightmare."
"It moves twice as fast as the others!" another solider said as their commander said, "So what? It will end up like the rest. Superconducting magnetic shrapnel cannon- FIRE!"
As a sigh on the cannon that reads Fire, the cannon fired its shot down at Lancelot, with Suzaku using all of his skills and Knightmare speed, with its sensors on high, it was able to dodge all the shrapnel that came his way while also blocking some of them while he kept on going.
(Up top)
With Lloyd and Cecile both ducking for cover due to the force of pressure blowing out from the tunnel near them as Cecile said to her boss, "I warn you about this Lloyd!"
"He doesn't want to play decoy he's going for the gold!" Lloyd said happily as Suzaku was risking his life while he was just having fun to see how far the Japanese boy can go with his Gen 7 Knightmare.
(Meanwhile at the hotel)
All the black knights were placing C4 around the building unaware of what the Tenno were doing, mostly due to the reason they are on a lower level while the Tenno were leading the hostage to safety, with some Japanese soldiers that was patrolling take notice of as they quickly raise their weapons to the Tenno while Ven called out, "Everyone close your eyes!"
AS everyone did so, Ven let out a howl which soon blinded the soldiers for a bit as the Tenno quickly got over to them, knocking them out and take their weapons away while also destroying them, as they didn't need one of the said hostage to start thinking of grabbing a gun for some reason or another as Sayak sigh to this, feeling a bit disappointed as Ava soon ask him, "What's wrong with you?"
"I know this is a rescue mission and all and it requires stealth, but I wish I was using my volt Prime, I could have taken out most of these guards already and we could move on faster too," Sayak said as Ava said, "Me too, I wish I had Valkyrie, or at least Garuda so I could really let go but not a whole lot of soldiers to fight against and not enough space too, but hey I at least have one of my sexy Warframes to look good."
Showing off her Warframe body a bit as Ven look to them while holding one of the JFL soldiers and said, "Knock it off you guys, you can complain or show off after the mission is complete, not during, now let's hurry up, no doubt Zero has finished setting up by now."
"Right," both of them said as they keep escorting the hostages out with the schoolgirls wondering why they are acting that way as Shirley said, "I don't understand these guys. Warframes and how they look?"
"Maybe but the one with the sweet bod is right, she has a nice figure I'm sort of jealous of," Milly said as she was checking out Ava a bit with Nina was still calm as she didn't say much but follow the group, soon enough the group soon ran into people in black uniforms as both groups were surprise by this as one of the black knights said recognizing Umbra Excalibur, "Holy shit it's one of those guys from Shinjuku."
"And they already have the hostage?" another said, as the Tenno were surprise by this but acted natural as Ven came up and said, "Were you guys here to save the hostages as well?"
"Ahh... well," the first guy said as he didn't know what to say as for Ven sense they were not getting shot at. At the very least it showed that they weren't hostile towards the group as Ven soon said, "If you are then we need your guys help get the hostage to safety, as I'm guessing Zero has some rescue boats of the sorts?"
The black knights were surprised by this but hey less work to deal with as now they have cut the time in half of saving the hostage and went on with the rest of Zero's plan.
(Lancelot)
Another salvo was shot at the Lancelot as by the looks of things it was the fifth one. It did nothing was the White Knightmare managed to make it through the shot with ease. More shots came at it as eventually Suzaku opted to use his Knightmares shield. "Yes, it can take this level of destructive force." Suzaku said as he was grateful for this result.
Of course, the Raijin switched over to its few on-board weapons once the Lancelot was close enough. Suzaku saw this and knew it was time to fire. "Ms. Cecil I'm going to use the Varis!" Suzaku called out as he took aim with his newly acquired rifle.
"No! You could get killed!" Cecil cried out knowing full well in such a narrow space the weapon might be too risky to use especially against this artillery weapon.
Suzaku in response deflected the shots fired at him making sure they hit the walls so to give him a smokescreen. "There's no room for me to evade I'll risk getting blasted to take the first shot!" Suzaku called out and in turn the Lancelot had the Varis primed and ready to fire.
(Scene Break the Tenno)
The Tenno had gunned down several JLF soldiers and in turn had managed to get the Hostages down to the ground floor. "Everyone into the boats we don't have time!" Ven called out guiding the civilians into the ships.
"Keep it to groups of three, woman and children first, and no pushing!" Eureka called after as the Tenno guided the people to the boats with the Black Knights help.
"You." Came the voice of the pink haired girl from before as the Tenno looked to her.
"Euphemia Li Britannia, I presume?" Ven asked as he looked to the princess before him.
"Yes." Euphemia said as she removed her glasses to look directly at Ven. "And you're the supposed monster of Shinjuku are you not?" Euphemia accused more then asked as Ven glared at her for a moment.
"Yes at least that's what your people seem to call my people lately." Ven said as the people continued to load up onto the boats. "Before you ask no I did not kill Clovis and yes I was there when it happened." Ven said shocking the group that Ven was the first person to see Zero in person.
"How did you know I was?" Euphemia asked as Ven glared at her.
"I think you want to ask why did, I not try to save him." Ven asked as Euphemia nodded to this. "Clovis ordered the deaths of hundreds of unarmed Elevens your elder sister was doing the same the only difference was she took the chance to walk away." Ven said making it clear that he would not tolerate oppression or senseless deaths. "Now unless you have something important to discuss then you better." Ven began but was suddenly cut off by violent shaking of the entire building.
"That can't be good." Sayak said as he knew something must have happened.
"Everyone into the boats now!" Ven called out and thus that was the signal to speed up the process.
(Meanwhile with the Lancelot moments prior)
The Lancelot had its weapon charged as did his foe. The Raijin was giving off its maximum output to use against the Lancelot. The Lancelot in response fired off the Veras and the two shots met halfway. But the Veras attack was stronger as it easily blew through its foes own weapon destroying the salvo used destroying the weapon itself in a massive explosion.
The blasted caused Suzaku and the Lancelot to go airborne which he used as time to switch the Veras to the proper setting. From afar the Lancelot fired off the Veras aiming for the support beam under the hotel which in turn resulted with the Hotel beginning to sink into the lake. Suzaku saw his mission was a success until he noticed something in one of the windows.
"No way." Suzaku said as he saw inside the Hotel was the masked terrorist who saved him from execution, Zero. But his shock then turned to horror as suddenly the hotel began to explode and thus the sinking began to turn into a crater. "MY FRIEND!" Suzaku cried out as he went after them to save his friend.
"Warrant Officer Kururugi don't!" Lloyd cried out as he saw what Suzaku was doing.
In turn everyone watched in horror as the Hotel was destroyed from what was clearly bombs set up by the terrorists. Cornellia stood there horrified over what she saw as she saw the Tenno could not commit to the promise they made. Many who were aware were horrified to see another Royal meet their end in such a tragic fashion.
Many who had loved ones inside the hotel were horrified to learn of what happened as they tried to make sense of this. Clearly the hostages had loved ones in varying parts of the world who saw this from Area 11 all the way to the homeland of Britannian itself. None of them could even grasp what had happened most of all Suzaku was left in horror over the event.
While Lloyd and Cecile were glad to see Suzaku had survived Suzaku had other thoughts. "I couldn't rescue them their dead I failed NOT AGAIN!" Suzaku yelled as he slammed his hand onto the controls enraged with himself for his supposed failure.
(Meanwhile)
During the aftermath the reason behind Zero stealing the news van became clear as he appeared on every TV screen in the world that was broadcasting the event. Zero was sailing out of the wreckage of the hotel with a boat he acquired as well as life rafts all filled with the hostages with four of them holding one Tenno each.
Ven had to admit this was impressive as he had no doubt that somehow Zero planned this from the start. The Lotus would no doubt be watching the event as well from the base she was hiding out in. "My dear Britannians have no fear all of the hostages from the hotel are safe and sound." Zero announced as the Tenno kept out of camera view of the scene. "I Zero return them to you unharmed." Zero said as the Tenno knew what Zero was about to do.
This was an ideal defensive position also because now not only does Zero have the audience attention he also had the hostages now. If the Britannian's attack them then the Hostages will become Zero's hostages instead. A clever if not risky plan but Zero was aiming for grandeur to announce himself.
Just then the lights flashed on and from behind Zero masked figures in black uniforms appeared all wearing visors obscuring their identities. On either side of Zero were two figures bowing since they were right next to their obvious leader. "People fear us or rally behind us as you see fit, we are the Black Knights!" Zero announced himself as the Tenno all heard this. "We of the Black Knights stand with all those who have no weapons to wield regardless of whether they be Elevens or Britannians." Zero announced much to the shock of many.
"The Japan Liberation Front cowardly took innocent Britannian Civilians hostage and they mercilessly executed them! It was a one ton and meaningless act therefor they have been punished." Zero announced as this surprised the group.
(Lotus)
"Intriguing." Lotus said as she began to ponder over what she was seeing. "The fact they are not censoring this live stream suggests that either there are those inside the Britannian Media who have morals or Zero has someone on the inside." Lotus said making a small note to keep an eye on Zero and the Black Knights.
(Back at the Hotel)
"Just as former Viceroy Clovis was punished for ordering the slaughter of countless unarmed Elevens we cannot standby and allow such cruelty to be carried out and so we made him pay for his actions." Zero said as he now had the world watching him. "I will not repudiate battle on a fair and level field but neither will I tolerate a one-sided massacre on the weak by the strong. The only ones who should kill are those prepared to be killed!" Zero went on as he was making a show out of this. "Wherever oppressors abuse their power by attacking those who are powerless we shall appear again no matter how mighty how formidable our foe may be!" Zero called out as everyone saw what was going on.
(Nemo and Nunally)
"Interesting." Nemo said as she crossed her arms while watching Zero play his role flawlessly. "Heh maybe he should have been an actor." Nemo joked as she watched the event play out.
"What does this mean?" Nunally asked with concern as Nemo knew she meant her.
"Not sure... but things are about to get interesting." Nemo said with a smirk on her face knowing full well what was to come.
(Zero)
"Those of you with power fear us!" Zero began as he swung his left arm out first causing his cape to flutter. "Those of you without it rally behind us!" He announced swinging his right arm which also made his cape flutter outward. "We the Black Knights shall be the ones who stand in judgement of this world!" Zero finished and in turn announced his Black Knights for the world to hear and see.
Just then something began to happen as the Tenno all sprang into action possibly hijacking the broadcast themselves. All TV screens began to produce a crest belonging to a Lotus Flower as the Tenno all gathered together. Then from the sky the Tenno's Landing Crafts appeared as they exited their cloak mode and hovered for all to see.
The Landing Crafts then created the Lotus symbol of their own and in turn the Lotus voice was heard. "Thank you, Zero for a marvelous announcement." Lotus spoke and thus all eyes turned to the newcomers on the scene. "Greetings Order of the Black Knights and Britannians, we meet at last, I am the Lotus the prime custodian of the Tenno." The Lotus announced as she was clearly broadcasting her message from another location.
The Britannian army readied their weapons and aimed at their Landing Crafts. "As for what and who my Tenno are they have been causing your Britannians headaches from behind the scenes." Lotus spoke and in turn holographic images of the battle of Saitama and Shinjuku appeared showing the Tenno in action. There were even images of the other Areas and nations in which the Tenno had been seen fighting and winning almost every confrontation they were in.
"We were the ones behind the attack on the Britannians in both Saitama and Shinjuku as well as the theft of several of your equipment." The Lotus spoke surprising the Britannians to no end. "We will not defend our action's as they were necessary for what was needed." The Lotus spoke as she was making it clear where the Tenno stood in this coming conflict.
"You and your group are under arrest!" Cornellia announced as she glared at the Tenno at large. She can capture the ones here and make them talk to confess where the Lotus was located at. Cornellia may have accepted their aid before but now she saw what they were doing and if she didn't stop them now then nations all over will be coming to the Tenno for aid.
"I think not." the Lotus spoke and in turn from the sky Sutherlands flew down all being lifted by large Archwings. The Flying Knightmares all aimed their weapons down on the Britannians making it clear that they were the ones in power here. These Knightmares were the first prototypes to attach a flight system onto them and so far, it seemed to be a success.
"Holy Hell!" Lloyd cried out as he saw those flying Knightmare Frames. Sure, he dreamed to make the Knightmare Frame's fly using the undeveloped float system, but it seems that someone beat him to it.
"F-Flying Knightmares!?" Both Guilford and Dalton cried out in shock over what they saw.
"Impossible!" Cornelia growled with anger seeing that this group is slowly surpassing the Britannian military power.
"We are not here to fight, but if you push us more, we will attack." The Lotus said as the tone she used suggested she suspected Cornellia had planned to double cross them and thus had her Tenno prepared for it.
"The Tenno monuments of an ancient warrior caste slaves chained by an ancient empire into their service broken free and became warriors of honor." The Lotus said doing her own little speech to present the Tenno to the world. "Tools once but no more and awaken we have to a world consumed by the tyranny of another oppressive empire." Lotus spoke as she was clearly being a bit of a hype woman here. "And thus, once more we must become warriors of honor deterrent for those with no other recourse. Shields for those who require or aid and blades against those who would seek to slaughter the innocent and the weak." The Lotus spoke as each word she spoke brought with it memories to the Tenno of their days leading up to now. "We shall go to where we are needed, fighting not for country, not for government, not for superpower, but for those unable to fight for themselves." The Lotus said and in turn would take the biggest gamble she can make.
"If you seek shelter and aid then seek us in the Pacific Ocean but if you seek to end us know that you enter the void of your own volition and arrogance." The Lotus spoke and in turn she ended her communications link and thus with a well, placed smoke bomb, Howl, and flash bang the Tenno escaped into their Landing Crafts with the flying Sutherlands and took off.
(Scene Break the Lotus)
Lotus shifted to Natah and began to send out the method to contact the Tenno to all who would need it. Using the criminal Underground, she was able to ensure that the Tenno's contact information would reach those who needed it the most and thus had set their roots in to begin their mission proper. Now that they are out in the open their target whomever they are will be forced to come out into the open. All they need to do now is make big enough noise for them to come running.
"So, it begins." The Lotus spoke and thus she waited for the inevitable flood of requests for the Tenno's aid.
