This is Part II of the Labor Day Special. Last time, Blaze and Starfire had a quick update meeting, but more importantly to the plot, Captain Avarice arrived off Earth's orbit with her crew and ship, the Damnation. But before we get into that, we're taking a quick break into the present of the timeline for something I've been waiting to do for a really long time now. What is it exactly? You'll just have to read on to discover...

(Our story resumes not where we left it, but back in Dragonbreath Village, specifically at one of the local establishments where Sulfur is sitting with a set of unfamiliar dragons: a shadow dragon with ram-style horns and a fire-earth dragon caked in soot, as well as Boa, Boreal, and Raygarro)

Sulfur: I'll admit, I didn't expect you all to show up.

Raygarro: As if we'd let you miss out on having a proper bachelor party.

Boreal: Admittedly, they wouldn't let me go with the entertainment I had planned.

Raygarro: The only person who found anything you suggested to be a good time is you, Boreal.

Boa: This wouldn't be the time to traumatize the groom-to-be.

(At this point, the dragon caked in soot pipes up)

Molten: Come on guys, this isn't the time to argue about specifics, we're all here to honor Sulfur before his big day. In the way only a band of brothers can.

Sulfur: Thanks, Molten. And... no hard feelings about all this I hope, considering I know you and Malus were both looking to wed Dracia.

Molten: Hey, you know I won't complain.

(Now the ram-horned shadow dragon speaks up)

Malus: Molten, do not lie. You complained for a good 25 minutes about it. But ultimately agreed to let up.

Sulfur: To be honest Malus, I always expected Dracia to end up with you or Molten.

Molten: I guess my hotheadedness may have not been the best tool in wooing her.

Malus: Neither did your viewing of this whole thing as a competition you must win.

Molten: Considering my opponents were from noble families, I guess I let myself get carried away in proving better than you two.

Malus: An understandable turn of events. And it's not like you didn't get out of this without finding someone.

Molten: True. I don't know what I'd do without my beloved Gypsum.

Sulfur: And what about you, Malus? Have you found someone?

Malus: After taking on my current position as Master Shade's apprentice, I chose to take a vow of chastity.

Sulfur: I've never heard that being required for Guardian-hood.

Malus: It's not. I just did it to piss off my family for forcing me to try and wed Dracia.

Sulfur: Must've been painful for them.

Malus: I did something I have never once done in that moment, and reveled in it.

Sulfur: Did it feel good?

Malus: For a time, yes.

Molten: (Picks up his glass) Everybody, I'd like to propose a toast. To...

(But before Molten can get his toast out, the door to the building is burst open by a water dragon with nautilus horns)

?: WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?!

Boreal: Ancestors, no!

Raygarro: Not this prick!

Boa: Who invited him?!

Sulfur: Godwin. I already told you that you weren't welcome here.

Godwin: I have no choice but to descend to this place, in order to stop Dracia from making the worst decision of her life!

Molten: That being?

Godwin: Pledging herself to this waste of a dragon!

Sulfur: Excuse me?!

Godwin: We all know I was the only worthy suitor Dracia had!

Malus: It was that attitude that caused her to never take you seriously as a partner. You know that, right?

Godwin: Calm yourself, Slim Shady. I'm not here for you. (To Sulfur) I'm here for you.

Sulfur: Listen, Godwin. How many ways do we have to say it for you to get it through your head that Dracia's not into you?

Godwin: There's no way that she could turn down the Ocean Prince of Love for someone as weak and pathetic as you!

(At this point, Sulfur's just had enough and straight up rushes Godwin, pinning him to the wall in an instant)

Sulfur: We are all SICK and TIRED of dealing with your attitude, you spoiled little sea-brat. Dracia saw through your act in five seconds. You never loved her, you were only in love with the idea of being in love with her. You would've had Dracia as some sort of trophy wife. She deserves better than that. Any suitor in this room would've been better for her than you. But in the end, Dracia made her choice, and now you have to live with it. (Puts Godwin down) Now get out before I have you thrown out.

Godwin: (Rubbing his neck) You think you can get away with this?! My father will hear about this!

Sulfur: You realize your family had virtually lost all the respect it had, right? Telling Dainn on us is equivalent to telling a crossing guard.

(Sensing he's outmatched, Godwin just turns and runs, tail between his legs)

Sulfur: Now then, how about we get back to the party?

Malus: Agreed.

(And with that, as the guys return to their party, our tale ends for today)

This concludes Part II of the Labor Day Special. For Part III head on over to A Song Of Spiders And Dragons. I've been waiting for this scene for so long. Ever since Yami introduced the suitors that pursued Dracia's hand, I knew I had to put a scene where the one who was resoundingly rejected, Godwin, stormed in on Sulfur's bachelor party that the other suitors, Malus and Molten, were attending, only for Sulfur to put him in his place. Now as for this Gypsum person that Molten ended up with, she's my creation, made specifically to end up with Molten after not working out with Dracia. Of course, since Molten is Yami's character, the fate of Gypsum as his pair is fully up to his discretion. Hope this works, Yami! So, next time, back to the war. What awaits next? Tune in next time to find out! Same time... same channel!
