Korra's POV

I was sitting in a metal room. Naga and Piplup were on the other side, I'm guessing they're being contained until this is over.

"Let's see, multiple counts of huge damages to private and city property...", the lady said going over a clipboard in her hand. She then slammed it beside me onto the metal table. I flinched. "You're in a whole mess of trouble young lady."

"But there were some thugs threatening a helpless shopkeeper and I..." I said trying to defend myself. I mean I did cause damage, but it was for a good cause, and it was an accident anyway. How was I supposed to know Piplup's Bide was going to be that strong?

"Can it", the lady said cutting me off. "You should've called the police and stayed out of the way". She spoke.

But I couldn't stand by and do nothing, and even if I did call the police, it would've been too late. I just felt that I needed to do something". I said, I really wasn't going to let three jerks and their Pokémon cause harm to innocent people that couldn't defend themselves.

"Well sorry 'princess', but in doing so you cause more damage that those thugs could ever done." She said as she pulled the chair and sat down facing me with a glare. "Besides, you're not supposed to be here. I've called a councilman to take you to his place to keep an eye on you until a ship arrives to take you back to the South.' She said, my eyes widen. No, I can't go back.

"Wait, please don't send me back home. Shouldn't the person in charge decide that, can I talk to them?" I asked

"You're talking to her, I'm Chief Beifong." She spoke. I couldn't believe it. She was Lin, Toph's daughter. I shouldn't be that surprise; they defiantly were related not just from bloodline.

"Chief", an officer said as a small hatch open up. "Councilman Tenzin is here", he said

She sighed, "Let him in."

A door opens up, a man with airbender clothes. No way Tenzin, the son of Aang.

I smiled sheepishly; this wasn't the best way to meet your idol son.

He sighed heavily and gave me an irritated look and turned to Lin.

"Lin you are looking radiant as usual." He began

"Cut the garbage Tenzin." She said cutting him off. "I called you to take the Princess back to Air temple until the ship arrives to take here back home." She spoke. I could've sworn I heard her muttered, "Get her out of my city", I frowned. Yep, she defiantly grumpy as they say.

"Always a pleasure Lin, let's go Korra." He said walking out of the door. I walked out with him, glancing back at the officer. She gave me a look, which I made the same on back to her before heading to Tenzin at the front area.

Tenzin's POV

When I got a call about the princess of the Southern Water Tribe in Republic City, no less arrested I was shocked. Met Tonraq when the White Lotus ask me for their assistance in finding the Avatar in the water tribe as well as train them in airbending as the last airbender and the son of the last Avatar. Avatar Aang.

While searching in the South, I met the new Chief, his wife and their daughter. Me and Tonraq got on well with his assistance of looking out for the Avatar. He told me how he was happy to have a daughter and planned to keep her in the South and raise her into a great Chief.

But now I can clearly see she went against her parents' wishes and I planned to send her home safely, to return the favor.

"So, Tenzin, right?" She asked slowly. "Let me first say, it is truly amazing to meet you. Not only because you're the son of Avatar Aang, but also, I heard you're an amazing Pokémon teacher", she said enthusiastically. I raised a brow.

She cleared her throat. "Ahem, besides that. Please don't send me back home." She spoke.

"You blandly disobeyed your parents' wishes and your own responsibilities", I said with a stern face.

"But Tenzin, Katara agreed that I should've left. She said that I have to fulfil my dream." She spoke. After she said that I was fuming, how dare she bring my mother into this. I knew she had her own way of wisdom but still.

"Don't bring my mother into this!" I said angrily. I could feel my own face getting red.

"Look, my dream is to win the Pokémon World Championships and become the World Champion. I understand my duties in the South, but I can't just spend the rest of my days locked up without completing the dream I had since I was a kid", she said. I stroke my beard, thinking about what she was saying.

"I will become Chief and protect and guide my tribe, but for now I want to keep getting stronger to protect my tribe and complete my dream", she said. I sighed heavily.

"Come on let's head back to the island", I said. She looked down, disappointed.

"Excuse me", someone said. We both turned around. There was an officer holding a Piplup and Rockruff. "Are these your Pokémon miss?" He asked as the Rockruff licked him.

"Yep, come here you two", she said happily as she crouched down and hold her arms out. Both Pokémon squirmed out of the officer grip and ran her and jumped into her arms. She hugged them tightly while laughing softly.

I smiled a bit but remember why I was here. "Come on Korra", I said as she put them down and followed me out the door as we headed to the docks for the boat ride back home.

This was an interesting turn off events. I knew what's the responsible thing to do. But also knew what the right thing to do was.

Korra's POV

As the boat was passing Aang Memorial Island, I looked up at it. I sighed, I came all this way, and it was already over.

I was going to head back home, probably more guards and more restriction to keep me there.

I felt something tugging my trousers, I look down to see the Piplup and Naga both looking at me with concern on their faces.

"Don't worry guys I'm fine. Just a bit disappointed" I said giving them a smile as I crouched down and pat both their heads. Naga rubbed its neck onto mine, hard as ever. Now that's a new definition of tough love.

I put Naga back in its Pokeball and back at the Piplup. It looked with me with eyes full of hope. That made me remember what I was about to say in the park.

"Hey", I began slowly "You're defiantly that Piplup I helped all the way at the South, and you came all this way just to see me again. Does that mean... You want to come along with me?" I asked.

It began jumping up and down happily, waving it flippers up and down as well while doing so and kept saying "Piplup Piplup"

I smiled and took out one of my empty Pokeball that I took from the storage at the palace. "Well then... Glad to have you aboard Piplup", I said happily as I hold the Pokeball in front of it.

"Piplup", it said as it happily hit its right flipper onto the Pokeball center. It opens up and a red light surrounded Piplup as transferred into the Pokeball. The Pokeball shake three times before making a sound. I smiled.

"Well, I got my second Pokémon", I said happily as I jumped up in the air. At least I made a new friend out of this.

Just then I heard a horn go off, I sighed. I guess this is it then I thought as I got off the boat.

I walked down the docks and to the big ship approaching. Probably the White Lotus to take me back.

I was about to head ahead to wait until they came and get on the ship when a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Tenzin.

"I thought about what you said", he began. I raised a brow. "You traveled her to do what you always dreamed to do. I understand that you must serve you purpose to your tribe. But for now, how about you complete your dream before that, and I will help you to do that", he said.

I was speechless, he was really going to let me stay here and help me. I was so happy that I hugged him tightly.

"Thank you, thank you so much", I said happily. But I then heard him clear his throat, I let go off me and rubbed my neck while smiling sheepishly.

"Well yes, head inside and speak to my wife. She should be in the dining room, just what's going on and she'll get you set up with your on while I speak to the White Lotus the situation. Just watch out for my children, well at least the two youngest and I see you afterwards", he said.

"Ok thank Tenzin", I said as a ran off to the building. I could hear him in the distance saying, "Don't make me regret this, Korra." I laughed as I continue to run.

I still can't believe this, but I wasn't going to let this opportunity pass.

I sighed, yep this was amazing. A new friend and a teacher, this was unbelievable.

Well, he we are, chapter 3 everyone. Sorry for the long wait but hopefully it's worth it for this long chapter. Next time, is Mako and Bolin with the new type of Pro-bending with Pokémon. Let's see how they get a Fire and rock type. Take guesses and suggestion if you want, I have the Pokémon for them, but I could always hear suggestion from you guys to make it fun for you.
