"We need to fix this. It's up to us, if we don't, we're all gonna die." Sarah told her brother and James clenched his jaw and folded his arms over his chest. "Don't give me that look. Do you have a better idea?"

"We're in over our heads."

"Why? Because Mom and Dad are gone? But they aren't. We aren't enough to stop Thanos. If we don't set things right, he'll destroy our timeline and possibly every other one. Are you willing to risk that?" Sarah asked her older brother, but he didn't budge, so she turned to his girlfriend, "Talk some sense into him, Morgan."

Morgan looked up at James as he side eyed her, "She's right. If Thanos kills my dad, they don't figure out how to get everyone back."

"And you're never born." Bucky said quietly, looking from Morgan to Sarah, "Neither of you are."

"But I am." James said quietly, scratching his head as he squinted up at the fluorescent lights. It was three in the morning and he was tired, but he knew his sister was right- if they didn't fix it, nobody else could. "Alright. What do you suggest?"

Sarah looked to Doctor Strange, who watched them carefully, "We go. The three of us. We won't exist in that timeline at all if they can't fix everything, so it's not like we'll run into ourselves."

"It could work. But we don't know how to fix the timeline either..."

"We can take my dad," Morgan suggested, "then he can make the quantum tunnel."

"But without our dad, they'll never win." James argued, looking to Doctor Strange, "Should we go back in time and help them?"

"No, it'll only make it worse, it'll create more branch realities." Doctor Strange answered, rubbing his beard thoughtfully, "However, if you can save Captain Rogers and Stark, they'll have what they need. You can set them on the right path, but you cannot warn them what's at stake."

"But will Mom save him if she doesn't have the serum?" Sarah asked and Morgan swallowed hard, clenching her hands together as she waited for Strange's answer, "Sure, they'll get the stones, but if Mom doesn't use the serum to save Uncle Tony, he'll die..."

Strange looked between the three kids, then turned back to Bucky and Tessa who leaned against the back wall of the conference room, "That was always his fate. Kayla intervening wasn't something I saw. He was meant to die in our timeline. He might need to die in theirs."

James and Sarah looked to Morgan, seeing the young woman thinking through their options in her mind. They weren't going to tell her what to do. She had to make that decision for herself.

Finally, Morgan turned to her friends and choked out, "Sometimes there just isn't another way. This is bigger than us. We have to fix it... Whatever it takes."

"Then that settles it, we're going." James told Doctor Strange, "When will we arrive?"

"I'll have to work with Miss Maximoff, but I believe it would be best for you to arrive when Thanos does." He said slowly, looking to Sarah, "Even with you three, you won't defeat Thanos. You'll have to let him win. Just save your parents, and set them on the right path. Don't let them know who you are."

"And be careful." Tessa said sternly, looking up at Bucky as he watched them fearfully, "For God's sake, be careful."

"We will." James promised, grabbing Morgan's hand, "Time to go." Before they could prepare for their mission though, Sarah's eyes rolled back into her head and her legs gave out, collapsing onto the floor in a heap as her brother yelled her name.
