I heard the snap of Loki's neck in Thanos's fist and as his lifeless body fell in a heap. I screamed with tears in my eyes and I threw myself beside my husband. I sobbed and that's when I heard my husband's murderer.

"Woman!"

I ignored his voice. My attention was taken up by Loki's lifeless body. As my tears fell into his hair and onto his cheek. I buried my face in his clothes and breathed in his scent for the last time.

Everything seemed to be in slow motion as I fixed the mop of messy black hair. I bent over him and kissed his lips.

"Woman!"

I ignored him again and closed my eyes as a tall alien being grabbed a fistfull of my platinum blonde hair and yanked me to my feet and ushered me to face Thanos.

He stared at me. His eyes danced over my body with a disgusting smirk on his face, "You're beautiful." He reached out to touch my hair and I flinched against the fist fixed against the back of my head.

I spit at Thanos.

"And spirited." He wiped his face and smiled.

Thanos wrapped a purple fist around my throat, the same fist that snapped Loki's neck, I closed my eyes. I didn't want to fight my Death. I would accept it.

He dropped me and finally I was able to breathe again.

"Let's see how Spirited she is after being introduced to Ronan."

I was drug away from Thor. As Thor screamed against his gag.

"Thor?"

I felt their hands on my shoulders and around my arms pulling me back away from my brother-in-law, away from the body of my dead husband being forced to go with them and if I stumbled then I was drug along.

"Thor!" I screamed.

I was thrown into a dark room and as my captures laughed I heard, "Have fun with Ronan."

"What's a Ronan?"

"You'll see." I was told as they snickered and slammed the door. I jumped at the noise.

There was a spherical vat sitting in the middle of the small room. I watched as the walls of the vat was lowered to reveal a man.

"Are you a Jotun?"

He said nothing but when he stood to face me he didn't have the trademark red eyes of a Jotun nor did he have the size of a Jotun either.

"What's a Jotun?" He asked though it really wasn't a question.

"From Jotunheim?"

Do I look like a Jotun?"

"Other than your blue skin? No."

He ran at me.

I stomped my delicate foot and the ground erupted into shards of cold ice. He stumbled but kept charging me. When he stopped his palms had grabbed my wrists and held me against the wall. He looked at me and repeated Thanos as he told me,"You're beautiful, Thanos doesn't usually give me the beautiful ones." He popped the silver buckle of his belt.

"Do what you will to me. There is nothing you can do that can be worse than what has already been done." I told him.

This seemed to irritate him, "You sure about that?" He grabbed my throat and started squeezing and I wondered if choking me out was part of his plan. I gripped his thick, meaty, arm that held me affixed on the wall. I struggled to breathe and reached out to touch his face. When I touched his face he felt my icey touch, I only figured that out when He tilted his head, I stared into his dark eyes so my powers were working he just didn't care.

A dark blurriness began at the edges of my vision as I struggled for breath.

Suddenly, he fumbled and dropped me to the floor and I gasped for breath I didn't know what happened until I saw him hit his knee in front of me while screaming grabbing the back of his knee.

"Give me a reason." A familar voice dared him. The blade of the elegant sword was already smeared with Ronan's blood and was now poised at the back of his neck, "Just give me a reason." He begged and warned then the softness of his voice returned as the tall Elvanking with platinum hair turned his attention to me, "Are you okay?"

I shook my head while rubbing the sides of my throat.

"Come on." He offered me his hand.

I looked at his hand longing for it then I looked at Ronan. Ronan stared at me with hate and malice.

"Synn!" The stern voice was enough to knock me out of whatever trance I was in. "He's not going to hurt, My Star Queen."

"I just want to go home."

"But Asgard was destroyed."

I took his hand and with a grunt I was on my feet.

"Look behind me, see that portal?"

I nodded.

"When I tell you to, I want you to run for it and don't stop until your through it."

"What are you going to do?"

He non-answered me with,"I'll be right behind you."

"No, we go together." I told him and conjured an icicle in my hand, and plunged it deep in Ronan's back then I whispered in his ear, "I must respectfully decline your offer." I kneed the blue, non-Jotun, in his shoulder blade which drove the ice deeper in his back.

The injury wouldn't paralyze him for good but may be it was just enough to give us the good head start we needed.

Run! Run!" I chanted to myself when I fell back a pace or two. Thranduil grabbed my hand and pulled me along. I was flung head-first into the portal as I collasped onto Mirkwood's lush grasses of the meadows. I heard Thranduil kick the rock, that held the pathway open, breaking the connection and as it bounced it's way to sink in the deep river.

Then he siezed me by the sides of my head pulled me in for a long but torturously short kiss.

I started to cry after all I'd been through in this short amount of time. He held me and let me cry for my husband; for my children; for Asgard's desturuction; for everything I had ever known had been callously taken away now I was left to deal with it all.

"Let me look at your neck?"

I showed him my neck. I winced when he gingerly touched it.

"Yeah, you're going to have some bruising, My Love."

I nodded.

"Come with me?" He offered his hand.

"I will always come with you." And as I took his hand and we both smiled at the sexual indueindo.

"I'm Home." I told him.

He smiled at me and kissed me again, "Oh my Tari, how much I have missed you."

"And I have missed you, My Elvanking." As we headed to the doors of our fortress where our palace lay beneath it the elves within started to gather outside Thranduil picked me up and spun me round. I delicatly touched the sides of his face with the backs of my fingertips, "Just do me one favor?" I asked as I looked down into those beautiful, icey-blue, eyes of his.

"Anything."

"Never die." I said as I shook my head.

"Rissa!" The crowd of elves were all chanting together in unison, the word ment High One;Noble One; or Goddess, "Rissa! RISSA!"

I looked into the crowd and I noticed a familiar face trying not to be noticed standing cloaked in the Darkness of the corner it wasn't until after Thranduil put me down and everyone began to file inside that the shadowy figure mixed into the crowd, "Welcome home, Calathiel, finally."

Only one person had ever called me Calathiel and I smiled.

"Maybe now you can finish your studies." The beautiful Elf lowerred her hood revealing the face of my Elvan Advisor and handed me a deck of cards, "Now," She tilted her head, "where were we?"
