Disclaimer- I own nothing

It was a slow day in the Uzumaki household, with Naruto out playing with Toya and Rei lounging in the living room. Since it was Sunday, the entire family were free to spend some quality time with each other. They all loved each other a lot, so having this time to themselves made them really happy.

"Psst."

Well, everyone except Rei, at least. The Snow Angel's eyes twitched in irritation at the voice, which belonged to a man who had not stopped bothering her since the day began.

"Rei~!"

"What now?" She grunted in irritation, rubbing her temples.

"Why don't you ditch that Naruto guy and hang out with me instead!"

Rei deadpanned at the voice, not even surprised at the outlandish suggestion. Her, betraying her husband for another man? Laughable. Both her and Naruto were still very much in love and loyal to each other, and they couldn't be happier. That's why she wanted nothing more than to put this obnoxious man in his place.

But there was just one teeny-tiny problem.

"This again, Naruto?" Rei looked at the man pointedly, "Putting aside the fact that you're the same person, I'm not leaving the Original for you!" She yelled at him with righteous fury in her eyes.

"But that guy's lame! I'm way cooler, ya know?" The clone puffed up his chest in pride, only to panic when Rei's fist came down to pop him. "No! Rei-chan, our love is meant to be-" the clone was cut off because he didn't exist anymore.

Rei stared at the fading smoke with a fond smile. This had been a problem ever since she knew Naruto. Since Naruto was madly in love with her, so were his clones. Every time Naruto made clones to do the chores, one or two of them would always be overdramatic and confess their undying love for her. And when her husband caught wind of this, he was understandably pissed off. He would always fight with the clones about who loved Rei the most, and he always won.

Naruto was trying to compete with Naruto for Rei's affections. It was kind of romantic and cute if she were being honest. And she might say one thing, but all of Naruto's clones were total sweeties. They often bought Rei chocolates and gifts, hoping to 'woo' her. And since it was her husband after all, Rei could accept the gifts guilt-free. The free chocolate was always welcome.

"Mom!"

Rei was cut off from her thoughts when the door slammed open, and a redheaded blur raced in. She already anticipated the next course of events and simply opened her arms with a smile.

"Whee~!" Toya barrelled into his mother's arms with a joyful squeal and giggled when Rei scooped him up and tickled his sides. "Hehe! Mommy, that tickles!" He tried in vain to squirm out of Rei's grasp, but she was unrelenting and cuddled the boy closer to herself.

"Did you have fun playing with Dad, Toya?" Rei looked down at her son and adjusted him in her lap.

"Yeah!" Toya gave her a toothy grin in reply. He looked just like Naruto. "I'm gonna be a Pro hero like mom and dad!" Toya declared boisterously, making cute karate chops with his tiny hands.

"Aww~!" Rei cooed at the adorable sight, cuddling her son even closer. "My little boy is going to be the strongest hero ever!"

"Yes, he is!" Naruto joined them on the sofa, wrapping an arm around his wife. "I missed you, Rei-chan!" he grinned brightly at her, making their son mimic his grin.

Rei's cheeks turned slightly pink. "We saw each other an hour ago, Naruto." She hid her face into his shoulder. Really, he was just too much sometimes.

Toya was just confused. He looked at each of his parents before he shrugged and went to play with some toys.

Naruto clutched his heart dramatically, a fiery glint appearing in his eyes. "But even an hour is an eternity when I'm away from you!" he exclaimed, clenching his fist in determination. "Be my wife, fair maiden! I cannot imagine my life without you, ya know?"

Rei blushed even more at his declaration but started giggling at the end. "This is your third proposal to me this week, Naruto. It's getting old." She lied, hoping to tease him back.

Truthfully, it was anything but old. Her husband loved her so much that he proposed to her approximately every other day, often in a very romantic manner. They both knew that they were already married, and he was just kidding, but the sentiment remained. The fact that her husband cared enough to use his antics for her amusement made their marriage still retain its spark to this day.

She made it no secret that she actually loved his compliments. Every time he flattered her like that, Rei's stomach did a tiny little flip. She could remember the scalding glares of all her jealous classmates when she bragged about Naruto at the UA reunion. Oh, if looks could kill.

"It's getting old?" Naruto gasped, recoiling as if slapped across the face. "Is that a… no?" his bottom lip trembled near the end, as even getting out the last part was a struggle for him.

Rei rolled her eyes and bopped Naruto on the head, though it mostly just ruffled his hair. "Stop being dramatic, Naruto. Care to explain how Toya decided his career?" if she didn't change the subject, Naruto would go off into a tangent. And Rei wanted to know how her son made his choice.

Naruto chuckled as he straightened his dishevelled hair. He hugged his wife even tighter, making her reflexively snuggle into him. "Well, he saw one of my fights on TV, and he wants to become like me!" Naruto puffed out his chest in pride. "I guess it's only natural. I am the coolest hero after all!"

Rei looked up to Naruto, still not releasing the embrace. "Oh? I wouldn't be so sure." She smirked, making Naruto's own grin falter.

"Toya honey, who is the coolest Pro hero?" Rei asked sweetly, and Naruto knew that he had made a big mistake.

"Mom is!" Toya exclaimed, shattering Naruto's whole world, "She uses Ice and snow, and she's all fwoosh~ fwoosh~!" the redhead started mimicking Rei's combat poses, as often seen on TV.

Naruto's eyes grew glassy, and his soul left his body. But still, he held on to hope. "H-hey, buddy, what about your dad, huh?" he shakily pointed a finger to himself. "I'm still the No.3, ya know! That's cool, right? Right?" Naruto was almost desperate for a positive reply.

To hear his own son call him uncool would hurt worse than a Rasengan to the stomach.

Luckily, his little boy did not disappoint. "Yeah! Dad is also cool! Both mom and dad are the coolest!"

"My purpose has been restored…"

"Dad, you're so silly!" Toya giggled, which prompted Naruto to pick him up and spin him around. "Eek!" Toya flailed his tiny arms around frantically, but he had a dazzling smile on his face. "Airplane!"

Rei looked on fondly at the most important boys in her life. Really, Naruto had worried for nothing. He was the best father a boy could ever ask for, as evidenced by their elated child giggling in his arms. Her family was amazing, but it was about to get even better.

Rei ran a hand over her stomach, which displayed prominent signs of pregnancy. Since they had found out, the pair had been over the moon. Naruto had been an absolute dream as expected, always supporting her and caring for her. If they had each other, they could face anything. And this was one of the best ways to start a new chapter in their life.

Toya was four years old, and he would be an amazing big brother. Rei just had a feeling that it would be a daughter this time around.

"Look at that Quirkless kid!"

"What is he even doing here?"

This was the sight Naruto came upon as he was returning home from the agency. Three kids were huddled up around a smaller child on the sidewalk, and they were clearly bullying him. Even though Naruto was off the clock, he wasn't going to let that stop him from helping someone in need.

"Hey, what's going on here!" Naruto called out to them loudly, making a few people look their way.

One of the kids, a black-haired boy with bat ears, turned angrily to retort. "What's it to ya, old ma…" his eyes widened upon seeing who he had disrespected, and he started shivering where he stood. "M-m-m-maelstrom!"

On hearing that name, the other two bullies turned around quickly, their faces going pale as well.

By now, a crowd had gathered to observe the scene. They had all seen the bullying take place, but none had stepped in to help. Now, however, they were all taking out their phones and recording the incident.

"Were you three just bullying that kid?" Naruto asked sternly, pointing to the victim. He was an unassuming brown-haired boy, probably why they were picking on him. "May I ask why?"

One of the bullies gained some courage, hoping that the Hero would agree with him. "This Quirkless was just getting in our way!" he glared at the boy, who shrunk in on himself. "Nuisances like him should just stay inside!" the other bullies also tentatively nodded, emboldened by their friend.

The one who had spoken had hoped that since Naruto was a powerful Quirk user, he would understand their actions.

The effect was exactly the opposite.

"Go away, demon child!"

"Monsters should just stay in their cages!"

"You are the Nine-tailed demon fox who attacked the village!"

Naruto closed his eyes and clenched his fists at the snobby kid's words. This situation was one he was intimately familiar with. Being bullied for something out of his control. Hated. Scorned.

"Can I eat them?" Kurama snarled from within his mind, baring his fangs. Aside from Naruto's family, he didn't really care about humans in general. He actually rather disliked them. "It's been too long since my last snack."

"Kurama, no. They're just kids." Naruto tried to placate the fox, "They just need someone to set them straight."

In the real world, Naruto knew that he had to be delicate with the kids. They were very impressionable, and words from someone influential like him could easily correct their bad behaviours.

Deciding to try a different approach, Naruto looked at the one who had spoken. "Tell me, kid, are you a racist?"

The crowd gasped at the question. While there was nothing inherently wrong with it, it was certainly unusual to ask a child.

The bat-eared kid recoiled in shock. "Wh-what? Of course not!" He was not a racist!

"And why not?" Naruto pressed.

"Because it's wrong to discriminate against people for things out of their… control." The kid's eyes widened further as he realised the irony of his own words. He stared at the ground, confused. Even his friends were looking down in shame.

"Do you see now?" Naruto began, making the crowd go silent. "Quirk or no Quirk, everyone is still human, ya know? It's wrong to persecute one category for something out of their control, isn't it?"

The logic was simple but irrefutable. The kids realised their mistake, along with many secret bigots in the crowd. The bullies quickly apologised to the boy and were about to leave when Naruto stopped them.

"Tell me, kids, why were you picking on him?

The three looked at each other, unsure of whether or not to answer. Finally, one blonde boy spoke. "Because he's weak."

Deciding to humour them, Naruto nodded along. "And do you want to become heroes?"

At this question, the boys gained some fire. "Yeah!" It was to be expected, Naruto thought. Most young kids had dreams of becoming heroes.

Grinning at his genius, Naruto went in for the finisher. "Then aren't heroes supposed to protect the weak?"

The bullies were stumped. "Well- um- that is…" They had no answer for him. Their worldview was shattered, and they didn't know how to react. They'd always hated people without Quirks, but now it all just seemed… meaningless.

"Why don't ya kids go home and think about it, okay?" he smiled gently, ushering the kids away. "And be nicer from now, ya hear?" Naruto could see that he'd had an effect on them, and he hoped that they would turn out better in the future.

"Yes, Mr. Maelstrom!"

Naruto chuckled at the determined voices. "Heh. Youngsters."

As he was about to leave, he realised that the crowd still hadn't left. Since he was still ticked off from the earlier incident, Naruto decided to vent at the people.

"You all should be ashamed of yourselves, ya know?" The onlookers flinched, "A child was being bullied and no one stepped in. Children not intervening, I can understand. But adults?" He scoffed in disdain, "I'm disappointed."

The crowd felt strangely guilty, like a child being disciplined by their parents. But Naruto wasn't done.

"Moral of the story! Bullying someone just because they don't have a quirk is stupid, and adults need to set a good example. It's really not that hard, ya know?"

Having said his piece, Naruto disappeared in an orange flash.

However, what he said was not without consequence. When the No.3 hero says something, people listen. Often blindly. Another speech by Naruto would end up bringing about positive change in the society. And he didn't even know it.

A shadow clone walked alone in the night.

It was hidden under many protective seals, in addition to Jiraiya's invisibility Jutsu. In short, it was virtually undetectable.

And this clone had a mission to complete, one it was very close to achieving.

"All for One, I'm close. And you're not going to like what happens when I find you."

"Dad! Train me!"

Naruto quirked an eyebrow at his son, who had entered the living room. It was a weekday, and Rei had gone to Inko's to pass the time. Naruto was watching Toya at home. Even though there were no days off for a hero, it was different for Naruto. He always left an extremely strong and durable clone in the office, so he could take a leave whenever he wanted.

Ah, the wonders of Fuuinjutsu. Now that they were about to be parents a second time, the clone idea had proven to be a blessing in disguise. Now he could be with Rei-chan as much as he wanted!

Looking down at his son, Naruto observed that Toya had already donned the robe which they used at their family dojo. An even more overpowered version of Rei's necklace was on his neck, in a 'cool' red-and-black colour, which were the boy's favourites.

"Tell me, Toya, why do you want to be a hero?" Naruto was invested in the answer, as it would decide the course of Toya's career.

"So that I can protect you and mom and my little sister!" Toya pumped a tiny fist into the air, grinning brightly.

Ever since Toya had found out that he would be a big brother, the little redhead was over the moon. Initially, he was a bit sad that he wasn't getting as much attention from his parents anymore because they were focusing on his sister. But that all changed when Naruto took him aside and had a chat with him. He told Toya about his new role and what that would entail. And that he and Rei would always love their son. There would just be a new addition to their little family.

"Well said, son. Let's get started." Naruto smiled and extended an arm to his son, leading him to the dojo.

Their dojo was a simple room that Naruto and Rei would use to spar often. It was by no means able to withstand any sort of Ninjutsu, and Naruto had a separate sealed room for that practice.

Standing on the padded floor, Naruto began his instruction. "First, let's see what quirk you have. You certainly have a Quirk, as confirmed by a doctor. We just have to find out what it is." He finished, making Toya nod.

Naruto pointed towards a training dummy in the corner. "Now, just focus on hitting that dummy. We'll see what happens, okay?"

"Okay, dad."

Toya closed his eyes and concentrated, hoping for something, anything to emerge. He tried punching, kicking, making anime poses, but nothing was happening.

His efforts went on for about half an hour but still yielded no results. Toya looked behind, only to find his father staring blankly ahead at him as if waiting for something to happen. This led to fear blooming in the little boy's mind. What if he didn't have a strong Quirk? What if it wasn't useful in any way?

What if… he couldn't become a hero?

He didn't want to think about it, but Toya was afraid. He was four, but he was also very smart. The boy had seen people praise him, saying that the son of two heroes was destined to achieve great things. What if he couldn't live up to the expectations placed on him? Would his parents be disappointed?

His parents were very caring, and they loved him a lot. But would they still love him if he turned out to be weak? No! Impossible! He didn't want his parents to be mad at him! All he wanted to do was protect his family, nothing else. But if he had a weak Quirk, that would be difficult.

While all these thoughts were running through his mind, Toya's arms started trembling, and small tears started pouring from his eyes. He was but a four-year-old child, after all. The thought of being hated by his parents led him to drop his hands and start sniffling in sadness.

Naruto, who was observing his child, got alarmed at seeing him cry. Without wasting a second, he was beside Toya, wrapping the small boy in his arms. "Toya? What happened?" he gently asked, taking care not to excite him further.

After being enveloped in his father's embrace, the dam broke. "I-I'm sorry, dad!" he hiccuped, clutching Naruto's shirt tightly, "I have a weak Quirk, don't I? Please don't hate me! I'm sorry!" Toya started sobbing in Naruto's arms, unable to even speak.

"Shhh…" Naruto soothed, stroking his son's back, "It's alright. I could never hate you, buddy." He stayed like that for a few minutes, comforting his distraught son.

''Why's he so sad? It's only been a few minutes?''

"It's the weight of expectation, brat. Everywhere the boy goes, from the market to the school, he has been told that he will be excellent. He got the impression that he must be the best, and nothing else would suffice. Now, he's afraid that you might resent him if he isn't."

"That's stupid! I'm not like Sasuke's. Hinata's or Gaara's douchebag dads, ya know?" Now that he thought about it, most Shinobi really needed parenting classes, with how many of them were crappy dads and moms.

"Make sure you tell that to your son, Idiot!" Kurama huffed and went to sleep. This loser was going to be the death of him one day.

Naruto looked down at his son, who was sniffling quietly in his lap. A light bulb went off in his head as he thought about how to make Toya feel better.

"Toya, did you know that I was the dead-last student in my class?"

Toya's head snapped up at this information, all tears forgotten. "Really?" the small voice with which he spoke reminded Naruto to cheer his son up quickly.

"Yep." He nodded, scratching the back of his head sheepishly, "I couldn't even pass the final exam, ya know? I just passed because of a technicality." While somewhat a lie, it wasn't what mattered at the moment.

"What? But you're so strong, dad!" Toya was now invested in the story, making Naruto grin.

"I am, now. But back then, I was the weakest out of everyone. But you know how I got strong?"

Toya rapidly shook his head. "How? How?"

Naruto smiled and ruffled his head, making the redhead pout. "Because I trained. I never gave up, and I trained until those who thought I was weak had no choice but to acknowledge my strength. And I'll help you do just that!" Naruto gave him a grin and a thumbs-up, which had motivated countless people who had lost their fire.

Seeing Toya deep in thought, Naruto continued. "Now, how about you try again, huh?" At his fearful look, Naruto patted his head. "And remember, no matter your Quirk, I'll always love and support you."

His words filled Toya with some determination, and he shakily got up on his feet to try again. Facing the dummy, Toya closed his eyes and focused, this time concentrating on what his dad had told him.

What emerged from the boy's hands was not something Naruto had expected in a million years. Naruto knew that Toya had chakra, but it wasn't as versatile as a shinobi's was. It would probably manifest as his quirk, like some sort of Kekkei Genkai, but he would not be able to use Jutsu. Along with Rei's Ice quirk, Toya was sure to be powerful.

But he hadn't expected this.

And neither had Kurama, if the words he whispered in awe were to be considered. "Matatabi…"

"La la la~."

The voice came from Rei, who was singing happily as she made dinner for herself and Naruto. Toya had awoken his quirk, which had left him so tired that he had conked out.

She still couldn't believe it. Her baby boy had such a powerful Quirk? Naruto called it 'Cremation', which was too dark of a name for her cute little Toya's Quirk! Granted, it was a fearsome fire with an electric blue colour and scorching high temperature, but the name was still too much!

"I still prefer 'Two-tailed kitty's friendship beam'…" Rei grumbled while stirring the pot of soup. Her suggestion had been immediately shot down by both her husband and son for being too cutesy and not 'cool' enough. Hmph. Boys.

"Try telling Matatabi that, Rei-chan."

Rei jumped in surprise at the voice and looked to her left to see Naruto sitting on a chair. He wasn't doing anything special, just staring at her with a dreamy look on his face. The intensity of his gaze made Rei's cheeks pink a little, but she tried to push it down.

"How long have you been there?" Rei pointed the spatula accusingly at him.

"Since you started cooking." Naruto replied cheekily.

"And you were just staring at me?"

"There isn't a more gorgeous view on the planet, sweetie." Naruto gave her a flirty wink, which made her blush prettily. "And it just got even better!" he gushed while cupping his cheeks and swaying in place. "Cute~!"

"Do-don't tease me…." Rei muttered shyly as she tucked her hair behind her ear and stirred the soup. Her heart was skipping beats left and right at her husband's sweet words.

"But I'm not teasing, ya know? Why else would I be swooning over you for the past half hour?" Naruto blurted out, making his wife flush even further.

Even though he was praising her so much, Rei wasn't convinced. "You're just saying that. Maybe it would be true when I wasn't pregnant, but I'm so fat right now." She looked away from him, self-consciously trying to hide herself.

She squeaked when two big arms wrapped around her waist from behind, and Naruto's head rested on top of hers. "Did someone call my dear wife fat?" he absolutely growled, "If so, please point me in their direction." His voice was so deep and possessive, which made Rei shiver pleasantly. She smiled as she eased into his embrace and closed her eyes in peace.

"You flatterer."

Seeing that she still wasn't convinced, Naruto decided to try another approach. He switched off the stove and guided Rei to the table. He sat down on a chair and plopped Rei down on his lap. She looked even more flustered and adorable at the sudden action, but Naruto had a mission to accomplish.

"Observe." After having spoken, Naruto crossed his fingers and exerted some chakra. In a puff of smoke, two shadow clones appeared in the kitchen. They looked around a bit before seeing Rei sitting on Naruto's lap, pouting with puffy eyes.

"Hey!" One clone whispered to the other, pointing at Naruto and Rei. "What's Rei-chan looking so sad for?"

"I dunno, man!" The other clone shrugged his shoulders, "But I'm gonna try to cheer her up!"

"Haah? Why the hell do you get to cheer her up!" The first clone glared and pointed a finger at him, "I wanna talk to Rei-chan!"

"As if some loser deserves to talk to my Snow Angel!" The second clone scoffed, "She's Original's wife, but I'm most like the original!"

"You wish!"

"You wanna go?"

"Bring it!"

Both the clones then looked at Rei, and their scowls morphed into sheepish smiles. They scratched their necks identically and blushed. "Cheer for me, Rei-chan! I'll pop that guy in no time!" upon hearing the other, they got angry again and started fighting in a comical smoke cloud.

Rei, who was observing the whole altercation, could only hide her face in the crook of Naruto's neck in embarrassment. "What was that, Naruto?"

Naruto dispelled the clones and grinned at his wife, who was in a much better mood. "Just showing you how all versions of me are hopelessly in love with you, dear." He gently kissed her forehead, making a soft smile bloom on her delicate features. "You're the most beautiful woman in the world, Rei-chan. Believe it. And in fifty years, even when we're both old geezers, you'll still be the prettiest girl to me." He then uttered the words which Rei had unknowingly wanted to hear.

"It's a promise of a lifetime."

Rei's heart filled up with love, and her eyes were misted with tears. Her hormones were being weird again, but as always, Naruto was there to love her, support her and care for her. He had even created a new type of clone just so he could spend as much time with her as possible. He left no stone unturned in taking care of her, didn't let her lift a finger for anything.

He spoiled her, plain and simple, even when she wasn't pregnant. But it came from a place of love, and what wife didn't want to be pampered by her husband? Her very loving, very handsome husband?

"I love you, Naruto. Thank you for putting up with me." She looked up at him, "I know I've been all over the place lately, and-"

She was cut off when Naruto put a finger on her lips. She tried to speak again but stopped when Naruto simply said. "I love you too, Rei. Believe it."

Rei understood the sentiment and shifted on his lap so that she could snuggle more into her husband's warmth. She was blushing so much that steam was pouring from her ears, but there was a brilliant smile on her face. Rei had nothing to worry about; she had the best husband anyone could ask for. She might not proclaim it as loudly as Naruto did, but she never hesitated to let him know that she loved him.

"I still think 'Two-tailed kitty's friendship beam' is better…" she grumbled into his shoulder, tightening her hold on him.

Naruto just laughed, glad that he had managed to cheer his wife up. When she was happy and smiling, all was right with the world. And Naruto would do everything in his power to protect that smile.
