Hello everyone! I'm sorry for not updating my other stories in a while. I got this idea in my usual place, THE BATHROOM! I swear, I get so many ideas when I'm in the shower. Um, lets see...yeah, this story is just a weird one about stuff. READ IT AND FIND OUT.
I DO NOT OWN FURI KURI/FLCL/FOOLY COOLY OR WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANNA CALL IT! I DO OWN MY OWN CHARACTER(S)!

"...ubaitotte tsukandatte kimi janai nara imi wa nai no sa.." a young man in a middle-school uniform sat on the riverbank, humming as he tapped his fingers on the CD player. He was shaken back to reality by a rather annoying tap on the head. "Ugh...who's there?" he said annoyed. He looked over at the 'tapper' to see a pair of green eyes staring at him. He blinked.A black-haired girl of about 17 or so blinked back at him.
"Hey" she said. That was all. 'Hey'.
"Okay...hey." Naota mumbled. "Now, mind telling me who you are?"
"Uh...oh yeah...I'm Fujiko." she grinned. Her face was stained with old, smeared mascara and junk, but her smile was like that of someone he'd once known. "Fujiko Kisakoro" He saw her sit down, her black fishnets stretching with her body. "She's dressed pretty weird for October." the boy thought. It was true; the weather hardly permitted the casual wear of skirts and tights. Granted, she was wearing a scarf. He watched as she took off her white-and-green driving gloves and fell back on the grass, her hair scattering all over her face. Silence filled the air, not a sound was heard other than the gentle breeze ruffling the grass, and a mellow hum of something more familiar.
"So..." he broke the silence. "Who the hell are you, and what do you want with me?" was what he wanted to say. instead, he opted for a simple "What do you want?". Simple, yet cold. Her shortblackhair fell off her face as she blinked, thinking.
After a second, the Fujiko person smiled and said "I want...well, I really don't know...". she stood up, brushing the grass off her thighs. Her eyes She looked over the landscape of the strangely quiet town. "Wow. Nice 'Giant Iron' thing you got goin' on. Are there any giant shirts that need ironing?" she joked. Naota remained silent. He never talked much anymore, not that he had been very talkative before. She stared at him, her black-rimmed eyes vibrant and curious.
"You aren't really the talking type, are ya? Well, in that case, I'll make my leave now." she walked back towards wherever she had come from. As she made her way up the grassy slope, she paused, thinking. Finally, as she turned away. Naota looked away, trying his best to ignore her. Once again, though, she paused.
"By the way Takkun, Haruko-san says 'Hi'." at that, she kicked the pedal and sped away in a burst of speed and smoke.
Naota ignored her for a moment before her words sunk in. "Haruko-san..." "WAIT!" he screamed. But it was too late; she was already speeding away, a green-and-black blur. He'd lost his brother, he'd lost Haruko, he'd even lost Mamimi. Now, he'd lost the one chance to get some of those happy memories back.
He sat down in the middle of the desolate bridge. "Go ahead. hit me with your best shot." he spoke to the air. There was complete silence excluding the wind and the gentle vibrations of a bass guitar, somewhere in the distance.
So...what'd you think? REVIEW AND TELL ME! Oh, and the black-haired girl was one of my own characters. Uhh...yeah, I love FLCL. Oh, and btw, the song Naota was humming was the song I was listening to while I wrote this. Its called 'Haruka Kanata' and its from Naruto. I really didn't try to associate it with anything in the fic, just thatTakkun was listening to it.REVIEW PLEASE!
