Chapter 24: Wave
Two days later Naruto and the group were standing at the water's edge. "Wow this fog is really thick, so how much further?" Naruto asked looking over at Anko who was holding the map. "Well from what the message said Kakashi-chan and her team should be in the town over the river." Anko said putting away the map and started to walk across the water with a smile while Naruto and Kurenai followed close behind. Both Kurenai and Anko looked at Naruto expecting him to fall in and ask to be carried but was in awe that he knew the water walking exercise already. "Man I was hoping that you fall in didn't know that you knew the water walking technique." Anko admitted, sighing as she kept on walking. "Ba-chan wanted us to fall in the water? Why, I don't like water." Kaga asked as she peaked out of Naruto's shirt. "She was trying to pull a prank on your Tou-san she wasn't trying to prank you." Kurenai said as she walked passed Naruto and her.
The group walked through the town and noticed how poor everyone was. "Daddy what's wrong with everyone? Why is the town's people so poor?" Shion asked as she noticed most of the shops had plywood in their windows. "I'm not sure but we should be coming up to the clients house so you and Kaga-chan stay in total animal mode." He said gaining nods from the two foxes. Kurenai knocked on the door and they heard footsteps then the door opened. "Yes may I help you?" said a melodic voice from the doorway. Naruto looked around Anko and Kurenai to find a raven haired woman looking at them compassionately. "Hello my name is Kurenai Yuhi and we're from Konoha. We were sent to aid our comrades that came here a few days ago." Kurenai said as the woman opened the door for them to enter. "Oh welcome my name is Tsunami and your comrades are in the dining room, we're just getting ready for dinner. Sorry but we don't have enough food to feed your team as well." She said as Kurenai and her team entered the house.
Naruto smiled at the ravenette woman, "Don't worry Tsunami-chan but we have our own food and you don't need to feed us as we're here to aid you." The blonde said as he flashed her, his foxy smile making her blush. He followed her in and saw Sakura fawning over Sasuke while Sai scribbled in a scroll and their leader Kakashi was reading the newest Icha Icha Paradise novel. Naruto grinned as he checked out the silverette had long silver hair that covered her left eye and wore a skin tight turtleneck with her Jonin vest unzipped, making her chest look even larger. Naruto coughed gaining everyone's attention, "Oh it looks like the reinforcements have arrived." Kakashi said looking over at the blonde then at Anko and Kurenai. "So who's the client?" Naruto asked making Sasuke scoffed. "Stop trying to be in charge dobe." The Uchiha said making Naruto and the two fox's growl at him. "Sasuke's right Naruto, so sit here and get to know your teammates while I inform your Sensei's on the situation at hand." Kakashi said. Naruto sat down and Shion jumped out of Anko's shirt and jumped on his lap. "Awe they're so cute! What are their names?" Tsunami asked as she walked over to pet them.
"This is Shion-chan and the one in my shirt is Kaga-chan. Now Tsunami-chan where is my team going to stay?" he asked standing up. Tsunami blushed in embarrassment as she looked at the blonde. "Well Naruto-san we don't really have any more room-." She was cut off by Naruto. "That's totally fine Tsunami-chan my team will be comfortable outside." He said as he made his way towards the sliding door that led to the backyard. "There you go again, talking like you run things you should be glad to be even on a C-Rank mission. Plus if anyone is in charge here it's obliviously me since I'm an Uchiha." Sasuke said making Naruto just shake his head and started to walk to the back yard. 'I'm glad that Zumi-chan isn't like that. The great Uchiha attitude, all must bow down to me, hell I hope that Satsuki-san isn't like that.' He thought as he began to set up his tent.
Naruto finished setting up his tent and activated the seals that were on the side. 'Hmm I think that I should place security seals as well.' He thought as he unsealed his brush and ink. Naruto quickly finished drawing the same seal that he used on his house and sealed some of his blood along with some of Kaga's and Shion's. "There all done now let's go back inside and see if the client needs anything." Naruto said making both Shion and Kaga growl. "Alright but I don't like that Sasuke guy. He's mean and scary." Shion said making Naruto sigh. "I know that he's not that nice but we're here to protect Tsunami-chan and her Tou-san while he finishes building the bridge. So you don't have to communicate with him unless you want to." He said as he walked back inside of the house.
As Naruto and the girls walked in they saw that Anko, Kurenai and Kakashi were back from their meeting. "Where did you run off to Naru-kun?" Kurenai asked as Naruto sat down at the dining room table. "Well Kurenai-Sensei, Tsunami-chan has informed me that there isn't enough room for our team so I went and set up my tent." He said making Anko and Kurenai smile. "That's a great idea Naru-kun we can bunk with you to!" Anko said shocking Sakura and Tsunami. "B-but he's a b-boy and you t-two are females." Sakura stuttered out embarrassed as she pictured them sharing the tent. Naruto chuckled at the pink haired girl. "Well Haruno-san we are all ninja and adults so there isn't anything wrong from it. Because we're only sleeping, it's not like we're doing anything immoral." He replied making Sakura blush even more. Naruto then looked over at Anko and the others, "Well what is our mission and who should I be on the lookout for? Bandits? Missing-Ninja?" Naruto asked.
The silver haired woman decided to answer him. "Well your mission is to watch Tazuna-san and his family while he builds the bridge and that's all that you need to know. Your Sensei's and my team will be fighting while you stand by." Kakashi said with a small sneer. Naruto narrowed his eyes at her and looked over at Anko and Kurenai for support but found none. Naruto growled and was about to retort but Anko elbowed him. "Well it's not professional to fight in front of our clients now." Anko said with a scary smile that sent a shiver down his spine that told him not to push it or she'll put him through hell. "Fine but I think that I should know more about this mission." He replied. Kakashi closed her book and looked at the blonde, "Well tomorrow you will be watching Tsunami-san while Anko-chan helps me train my team and Kurenai-san watch Tazuna." She said as Tsunami walk in with food.
"Oh I'm sorry Naruto-san but like I said earlier we don't have enough to feed your team." Tsunami said looking down embarrassed. Naruto waved his hand at her, "And like I told you Tsunami-chan you hired us to protect you not to eat your food. I have rations and enough food for me and my team and tomorrow we can go into the village and buy more groceries." He replied with a smile. "Daddy can we have some treats?" Kaga asked as she popped her head out of his shirt. Everyone except for Anko, Kurenai and Sakura were shocked at the talking fox. "It c-can t-talk?" Tsunami asked as Shion jumped in her lap. "Yes we can anyway can and what about the treats?" Shion asked making Naruto laugh. "Yea here you guys go, and Tsunami-chan they're both my musumes and actually in their beasts forms. Kaga, Shion you guys can transform." He said making the two girls look at him. "Are you sure daddy?" Shion asked making Naruto nod.
Both Kaga and Shion were enveloped in a cloud of smoke as they transformed and now were two small girls in their place. Tsunami and Tazuna was shocked, seeing the two girls that were foxes not a second ago. "How are they human? Weren't they foxes?" Tazuna asked as he took a drink from his gourd. Naruto sighed as he smelled the alcohol from him and handed Shion her portion of Dango. "They are and they are both my musumes." Naruto said as Tazuna looked at the two girls and seen that they had fox ears and tails along with whiskers. "It's a lot to explain, best way to put it is that I'm half fox and they're the product of a passionate night with Kyu-hime." Naruto said making Tsunami, Sakura and Kakashi blush and Kurenai to scold him. "Naru-kun don't talk like that, especially in from of women." The ruby eyed woman said making Naruto look down. "Yes Sensei." He mumbled out and handed Kaga her Dango.
"Hey foxy can I get some dango from ya as well?" Anko asked as Naruto's stomach growled along with Kaga's. "Yea I don't mind but please excuse me Tsunami-chan but I have to get dinner ready for the girls and go to bed. I'll see you all tomorrow morning, come on Shion-chan." Naruto said motioning for the black haired girl to follow him outside. He stopped at the sliding door and turned around and threw both Anko and Kurenai and small piece of paper. "I'll need you two to write your name in blood and pump some of your chakra. It's for the security measures I placed on the tent so you can enter without me or the girls holding open the flap." They both quickly did what he asked and threw back the papers and watched him walk outside. "Umm Sensei why did he need their blood and chakra?" Sakura asked Kakashi as Anko answered her. "Well that is simple Pinky, Naru-kun is a master of seals and the blood and chakra allows us to enter freely." Anko replied kind of shocking her.
~Morning~
Naruto woke up with Kaga laying on him while Shion laid on his left; he was confused and noticed that Anko was cuddled up to his right. "Morning Foxy." Anko yawned out as she opened her eye to look at Naruto. "M-morning Sensei, but why are y-you in my bed?" he whispered out, trying not to wake Shion and Kaga. "Because Kurenai-chan is on the sofa." She answered still making Naruto confused. "What about the spare bedroom?" he asked making Anko sit up. "I totally forgot about the spare room." She said sarcastically. Naruto sighed as he got up, waking up both Kaga and Shion, "Well you two go wash up and meet me in the house; I'll go and make breakfast for you." He said as he got dressed and made his way towards the kitchen. 'Alright let's see, I'll need eggs, bacon, pancake mix, juice.' He thought as he sealed all of the items away and made his way towards the house.
As he entered he saw that Tsunami was just getting up and started to make a pot of coffee. "Good morning Tsunami-chan." Naruto said as he entered the house. Tsunami jumped and turned to see the smiling blonde standing there. "Oh good morning Naruto, I wasn't expecting anyone to be up at this hour." She replied. "Really? What about Kakashi-san and her team aren't they suppose to be with Tazuna-san?" he asked making Tsunami nod. "Well yes but Tou-san doesn't get up this early so they sleep in as well." Tsunami said with a frown. "Well that's alright, I'm going to cook breakfast so they better wake up soon." Naruto said as he started to unseal the items. "Alright Tsunami-chan go sit down while I cook, Anko-Sensei and the others should be in here soon." Naruto said as he started to cook. Tsunami was shocked at the blonde and decided to listen and sat down with her coffee mug.
Soon Shion and Kaga walked in with Anko and Kurenai right behind them. "Morning Tsunami-san." Kurenai said as she poured Anko and herself some coffee. Tsunami smiled as she sipped her coffee, "Good morning Kurenai-san, Tou-san and the others should be getting up by now." Just as she said that Kakashi and her team walked down the stairs towards the kitchen. "Morning all, something smells amazing." Sakura said with a smile. "Daddy's cooking breakfast for everyone." Kaga said as she drank her juice. Sakura giggled at her and looked into the kitchen and saw Naruto cooking. "I didn't know that he could cook." She said making Shion nod. "Yup he always cooks meals for us." Shion said as Naruto brought over the coffee pot to refill everyone's cup. "I learned how to cook from Hina Ka-chan." He said walking back to the stove. Naruto kept cooking while the others took in small conversation which he didn't pay any attention to. Couple of minutes later Naruto walked back to the table with plates filled with eggs and pancakes. As Naruto sat down he heard someone walk down the stairs and noticed a small boy, he smiled at him but the boy only frowned even when he ate his breakfast.
"So Tsunami-chan what are we going to do today?" Naruto asked looking over at the brunette. Tsunami blushed as she thought about spending the day with the blonde. "Well I need to go shopping and after that well I'm not sure." She replied making Naruto smile and nod. Kaga and Shion woofed down their food and held out their plates for more. "Can we come with you daddy?" Kaga asked. Naruto shook his head no. "Sorry Kaga-chan but you and Shion-chan need to train with Anko-Sensei. Just don't use my signature Jutsu's." He whispered the last part only for them to hear. "Ka-san I'll be in my room." The boy said getting up and walking back up the stairs. "Who was that?" Naruto asked. "That's Inari my musuko, his Tou-san died when he was still a baby. There was another man that he became close to and saw as his Tou-san but he was killed by Gato and his men. That's why we need the bridge built, so Gato lose his power over us." Tsunami said making Naruto and the others frown at the news.
Everyone finished eating as Naruto started to clean up and follow the others out when Kakashi stopped him. "Where are you going Naruto? You're supposed to be watching Tsunami-san." The one eyed woman said making Naruto growl. "I thought that I would walk Kaga and Shion to the training grounds before my watch." He replied as Kakashi raised her hand to stop him. "Your watch started the minute the two of you were awake." Kakashi replied walking out of the house. "Fine, Kaga-chan, Shion-chan you two listen and learn as much as you can from Anko-Sensei alright." Naruto said petting them each on the head before walking back to Tsunami. "Don't worry daddy Nee-chan and I will do our best!" Shion yelled out as she and Kaga ran and hugged him. "Don't worry foxy, Kakashi-chan and I will train them." Anko said making Naruto sigh. "Thanks Sensei." He said with a small smile. Naruto and Tsunami both stood in the doorway as they watched Anko and team seven walk away, and then came Kurenai and Tazuna. "Alright you be safe Tou-san." Tsunami said as she handed him a lunch box. "I will, I have a beautiful woman watching out for me." He said with a blush as he eyed the ruby eyed woman.
"Careful Tazuna-san." Naruto warned the bridge builder. Then they all felt Kurenai's KI and the room temperature drop. "Come on Tazuna-san that bridge won't build itself." Kurenai said with a sweet smile that sent shivers down the man's spine. Tazuna just nodded as he walked out of the house scared for his life. "Oh and Kurenai-Sensei if there's any trouble send a clone and I'll be there in a flash with backup." Naruto said making Kurenai laugh. "Don't worry Naru-kun Tazuna-san and I will be safe and IF there's any trouble I promise to let you know." She said with a smile as she pictured him worried about her. Naruto pouted as he watched his Sensei and the client walk away, and then he turned his attention towards Tsunami. "So are you ready to get your shopping done?" he asked holding out his arm making Tsunami giggled and took his arm.
Naruto frowned as he walked through the village, seeing everyone sad. 'Gato really needs to go; I guess I'll have to give him a visit tonight.' He thought when Tsunami tugged on his arm. "Naru-kun we're here." She said as she walked in to the store. As they walked in Naruto frowned as he seen how high the food prices were. "Why so high?" he asked as he picked up a loaf of bread. "Well since Gato came he raised taxes and it's been hard for everyone." She replied. Tsunami sighed as she looked inside of her purse and counted her money, putting back some of the items. Naruto saw this and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Please Tsunami-chan let me pay, we are eating all of your food. It's the least I can do." He said getting grabbing the items that she put back and more. "You don't have to do that Naru-kun." She said with a smile and a small blush. Naruto gave her a foxy smile that made her blush even more, 'Why am I thinking of him that way? He's younger than I am, I doubt that he be interested in me.' She thought as Naruto paid for the food.
Naruto and Tsunami took their time walking back to the house, window gazing. Naruto stopped as he saw that Tsunami was looking inside of a clothing store and smiled. 'I guess that it wouldn't hurt to look around, by me some time before I'll have to start dinner.' He thought before grabbing Tsunami's hand and walked inside the store shocking the brunette. "Wh-what are you d-doing?" she asked as she was being dragged by her hand. "I thought that we could check out their clothing, plus I would like some new clothes. Maybe you could help me pick some out?" he said making Tsunami face light up with joy. "I would love to help you!" she squealed out and ran up to a clothing rack and started to throw clothes over at the blonde. Naruto started to try on the outfits that Tsunami had picked out for him and one after another he showed them off to her. Tsunami loved watching Naruto try on all of the different outfits and right now she was sitting outside of the changing room waiting on Naruto. Soon Naruto opened the curtain and walked out gaining a nose bleed from Tsunami and the store clerk. Standing there was Naruto wearing black swim trunks that had an orange stripe going down each side.
Tsunami quickly took several pictures when Naruto wasn't looking which she promised to give a copy to the store clerk if she promised to keep quiet. Naruto now had a button shirt over a white t-shirt and black pants. He walked out and walked over towards a mirror and checked out his new outfit, tugging on the shirt. "Thanks Tsunami-chan I like my new outfit but it's only fair that you get a new outfit as well." He said as he walked over to a rack of dresses and picked out several for Tsunami and a bathing suit. Naruto sat down were Tsunami was when he was trying on clothes, and just as Naruto she came out showing off her outfits. Tsunami was nervous at first but Naruto pleaded and coursed her into coming out and he wasn't disappointed. "Wow Tsunami-chan you look beautiful." He said making said woman blush at the complement. "Th-thank you Naru-kun." She whispered as she spun around. Tsunami loved how the sundress fitted her, and then she stopped when she saw how much the price tag was. She quickly went and changed not damaging the dress or other outfits.
"What's wrong Tsunami-chan? Didn't you like the dress?" he asked making the woman look away embarrassed. "It's too much money and I can't afford it." She admitted making Naruto smile at her. "We'll take it all." Naruto said to the clerk making the woman ring up the items and Tsunami start to panic. 'I hope that Naruto will understand me returning it so we have money to eat.' She thought as she pulled out her check book. Naruto saw this and waved her off, "Sorry Tsunami-chan but if I let you pay then my Ka-san's will rip me a new one." He replied as he pulled out enough money to pay for everything. The clerk had a giant smile as someone paid in cash and quickly started to bag the clothes and as she did she looked at Tsunami. "I would like a copy of those pictures tomorrow." She whispered out. Tsunami sighed and just nodded at the young woman and watched her flirt with Naruto as she bagged the clothes. 'She has a better chance at getting with him than I do; at least he was checking me out in my new outfits.' She thought with a smile.
~Woods East of Tazuna's House~
Team seven, Kaga, Shion, and Anko who decided to go and help out stood there looking at Kakashi who had her eye closed. "Sensei what are you going to teach us?" Sakura asked looking determined to learn from the one eyed woman. Sasuke, Sai, Shion, Anko, and Kaga just waited in silence as they wanted to know what Kakashi would teach them. "Are you going to teach us a super cool Jutsu, or Genjutsu?" Kaga asked as she jumped with excitement. Kakashi gave them her signature eye smile and ignored Kaga, "Today we are going to learn…." Kakashi paused for dramatic effect. Sasuke and Sai leaned in as Sakura held her breath in anticipation. "Today we are going to learn tree climbing." The silver hair woman finished making both Kaga and Shion face vault. "But daddy already taught us that. I thought that you're going to teach us some cool Jutsu." Shion whined out making Kakashi growl. "Well I'm not at liberty to teach you and my team needs to learn this." Kakashi replied making Shion mad.
"Kakashi you're teaching them the tree climbing technique now?" Naruto said as he walked into the clearing making everyone look over at him. "Daddy you're here, does that mean that you're going to teach us as well?" Kaga asked making Naruto shake his head. Anko wasn't pleased at the laziness of her colleague. Kakashi just scratched the back of her head as she lightly chuckled. "Ko-chan I forgot." She said making Anko blush at her nickname and Naruto frown at her laziness. "But Kakashi-Sensei just like Kaga and Shion we already know how to climb trees." Sakura sighed at the stupidity as Kakashi just eyed smile at her. "I wasn't finished; you're going to learn how to climb trees without your hands." Kakashi chuckled out then she noticed that neither Shion nor Kaga was fazed by her comment. "Like I had said earlier Kakashi-san, Daddy already taught us how to do that." Shion said making both Sasuke and Sakura look at the blonde wide eyed while Sai didn't show any emotion.
"What? That's physically impossible!" Sakura yelled out making Anko and Naruto sweat drop at her. 'And I thought that she had the best grades.' Anko thought as she looked over at the pink haired girl. "Sakura-san we can manipulate chakra to make the elements, summon creatures, and heal people and much more so why is walking up a tree physical impossible?" Shion asked making Sakura slump her shoulders hearing Shion's argument. Kakashi nodded and walked towards the tree, "She's right so watch closely." She said making team seven watched as their Sensei walked up the tree placing her foot on the trunk and continued until she was walking straight up the tree as if it was the ground itself. Kaga stopped paying attention to the one eyed woman and turned towards Naruto. "And what are you going to teach us daddy?" Kaga asked making Sasuke scuffed. "Like the dobe can teach you two anything that I can't." Sasuke boasted.
"I think that Anko-Sensei and I can think of something to teach you two. Umm Kakashi-san you should come down before you hurt yourself." He chuckled out making both girls chuckle and Anko elbow him. Kakashi growled at the blonde haired boy as she walked back down the tree trunk. "As I was saying this is the tree climbing exercise and it'll help you control your chakra easier." She said as she walked back on the ground. "Why are you finally teaching them this exercise? Imagine all it took was a C-Rank turned A-Rank mission and the possibility of death. They should've been taught this during the first week of being a team." Naruto said making Kakashi grit her teeth. "Naruto aren't you supposed to be watching Tsunami-san? Better hurry and get to your post, don't want that on your record now do you?" Kakashi asked making Naruto grit his teeth back. "Whatever, Tsunami-chan probably needs help cooking dinner anyways. You two listen to everything that Anko-Sensei says alright." He replied as he walked away. 'Hokage-sama and the council is going to need to know this information. Can't have the demon run wild.' Kakashi thought as she turned back to her team while Anko took Kaga and Shion off to train.
~Tazuna House~
Naruto walked back in to the house alerting Tsunami. "Oh Naru-kun I wasn't expecting you till later. I figured that you would be training with the others." She said as she poked her head out from the refrigerator. "Well I was but I'm supposed to be watching you and Anko-Sensei knows what and how to train Kaga and Shion-chan." He replied with a smile as he watched Tsunami put away all of the food. "Well that's fine with me; you can help me cook dinner. I still don't understand why you bought us so much food, it's going to spoil before we'll be able to eat it all." She said with a sigh. Naruto smiled and smacked his forehead, "I almost forgot!" he yelled out as he unsealed his ink and brush and made his way over to the fridge. Naruto started to draw on the fridge making Tsunami freak out. "Naru-kun what are you doing!?" she yelled kind of startling him. "Oh sorry Tsunami-chan but I'm placing a seal that will preserve the food in here so anything that you place inside never spoil." He said shocking Tsunami. "What? Really that's amazing; I didn't know that you could do that."
"Now that we put all the food away how about I teach you how to mold our chakra." Naruto said as he walked to the living room with Tsunami close behind. "Um Naru-kun why do I need to know how to use chakra? I'm not going to become a shinobi." She asked as she looked at his back. "Well because I'm going to teach you how to seal items away and unseal them." He answered back as he sat down on the floor. Tsunami quickly sat across from him and gave him a curious look, "And why should I know that?" she asked making Naruto chuckle. "For starters it's going to make your life a lot easier when you go shopping putting things away." He quickly answered. "Alright I want you to relax and concentrate till you feel something warm that's it and I want you to start to tug at it." He said looking over at Tsunami. It took Tsunami around ten minutes before she could even find said chakra then she did as Naruto instructed and pulled on it finally unlocking her chakra. "That's amazing Tsunami-chan now channel some of your chakra into this piece of paper." Naruto said as he unsealed chakra papers.
Tsunami grabbed the square piece of paper and gave Naruto a confused look. "What does it do?" she asked. Naruto picked up a square and held it between his fingers. "Well Tsunami-chan these are chakra papers and it'll show you what element you have. If it turns to ash you have fire, Split in half you have wind, if it wrinkles you have lightning, if it crumbles you have earth, and if it becomes damp you have the affinity for water. Have any questions?" he asked. Tsunami took in all of the information that Naruto just told her and thought for a second. "Why would I need to know my affinity?" she asked as she looked at the square paper. "Well you really don't unless you want to learn jutsu's. I was just curious, seeing as you just unlocked your chakra." He replied with a smile and channeled chakra into his piece showing Tsunami how it worked. Tsunami concentrated and finally after five minutes she was able to channel her chakra. Naruto watched the paper as it slowly became damp and smiled at Tsunami, who was out of breath. "That was awesome Tsunami-chan and it seems that you have water for your affinity and don't worry if you continue to use your chakra your coils will grow." He said making her smile.
Naruto and Tsunami stayed sitting as Naruto had one of his clones make them tea. They continued to talk and Naruto learned a lot about Tsunami and Inari. "Wow Tsunami-chan I would have never guessed that you went to college." Naruto said making the woman glare at the blonde. "And why does that surprise you?" she asked making Naruto chuckle nervously. "I just meant that I didn't peg you as that kind of person especially business school." He quickly said trying not to upset the woman even more. Naruto looked over at the stairs and then at Tsunami. "Will Inari come out any time soon?" he asked with a serious look. Tsunami sighed as she sipped her tea, "I do hope that he turns around, ever since Kaiza-kun died Inari took it the hardest. After Gato had him killed Inari changed and rarely ever comes out of his room, only to eat. I am worried for him." She said making Naruto frown. "Don't worry Tsunami-chan my team and I will see that the bridge is built and run Gato out of town."
As they sat and talked Naruto didn't realized what time it was till the door opened, Kaga and Shion running in and tackling the blonde. Tsunami chuckled as she watched the two girls jump on Naruto. "Daddy Anko Ba-chan played dodge with us again and she and Kakashi-san neglected us while they went off to talk privately about the mission." Kaga whined out making Naruto sigh. "Well you know how your Ba-chan teaches. You two should have been prepared for it, being ninja is expecting the unexpected." He replied as he hugged them both. Soon Anko, Kakashi and team seven walked through the door. "Now now Kaga-chan what did I say about running ahead of us?" Anko asked as she gave the girls an eerie grin. Shion and Kaga hugged Naruto tighter as the purple haired woman walked into the room. "S-sorry B-Ba-chan we won't do it again." Shion stuttered out scared. "Anko-Sensei why is Kaga-chan and Shion-chan scared of you? What kind of training you put them through today?" he asked eyeing Anko.
Naruto quickly saw and smelled how dirty Kaga and Shion were. "Well I'm glad that you two trained today but you two need to go wash up before dinner." He said standing up and motion them upstairs, which confused them. "I don't want everyone to know about my tent so get a pair of clean clothes and go wash up upstairs." Naruto whispered out only for Shion and Kaga could hear. "Alright Daddy, is Kurenai Ba-chan back yet?" Shion asked as she got up. Naruto shook his head, "Not yet but I promise that she will by the time you two get done cleaning up. So hurry up dinner is almost done." He said as he smacked both of them on their rear ends. Naruto smiled as he watched them run away to get cleaned up, then he looked at Anko. "What have Kyu and I said about 'Dodge'?" he asked in a serious tone which made the purple haired woman nervous. Anko wasn't as scared of Naruto as she was with Kyu, at least Naruto's punishments weren't as bad as Kyu's. "Sorry I couldn't think of any Jutsu's to teach them and they are still a little rusty at dodging so I thought it was appropriate."
Naruto raised his KI as Kurenai came in the house to find him glaring at Anko. Kurenai sighed and quickly intervene. "Whoa what's all this about now?" she asked making Naruto scowl at her. "Well Anko-Sensei thought that it was appropriate to play dodge with the girls because she couldn't think of any Jutsu's to teach them. Yet she had the famous Sharingan Kakashi with her." He growled out making Anko gulp in fear of what Kyu was going to do to her as Naruto glared back at her. "Now now foxy y-you don't need to get upset, I barely tried." Anko said waving her hands in front of her. Kakashi now stepped in to save her friend from the demon vessel. "Now Naruto that's no way to talk and treat your Sensei." The one eyed woman said as she placed her hand on his shoulder. Naruto shrugged his shoulder to get her hand off of him. "Fine but Kyu will find out, now go wash up dinner is almost done." He said as he made his way to the kitchen.
Kaga and Shion came running down the stairs, hair still wet. "Ba-chan you're back! Did you have to fight any ninja or bandits?" Kaga asked as she ran up to the ruby eyed woman. Kurenai smiled down at the girl and shook her head. "Nope all quiet, like I like it." She replied as Tazuna sat down and pulled out his bottle of saki. "Yea and I'm glad that no one attacked, making it easier to finish the bridge." Tazuna said as he took another sip from his bottle. "So tell me again I thought that you two were foxes." He said looking at the two girls. "Well we are because of daddy-" Shion said but stopped when Naruto growled and narrowed his eyes at her. "Kyu and I blood adopted them making them our children. But enough of that dinner is ready." Naruto said as he began to set the table. Kaga went and sat down next to Kurenai while Shion sat next to Tsunami. "So is Inari going to join us?" he asked as he brought out a pot of beef stew. "Yea let me go get him." She said as she went and walked up the stairs.
Soon Tsunami came back with Inari who was frowning at the extra people in the house. "It's nice to see you Inari." Naruto said with a smile while Inari just scoffed at the blonde. Naruto sat down next to Tsunami and gave her his foxy smile making her blush and Inari scowl even more. Sakura and Sasuke came back after washing up to find an awkward tension between everyone. "Alright now that everybody is here let's eat!" Naruto yelled out as he started to dish out food for Shion and Kaga. Inari ate his food quietly as he watched everyone laugh and talk to each other and it was making him mad. "How can you all sit here and laugh!? Gato is too strong for you and will kill you all so why fight?" he yelled out startling everyone except for Naruto. "What are you going on about now?" Naruto asked as he raised one of his eyes at the boy. "You won't be able to stand up to Gato! He will kill you." Inari said once again and the atmosphere became thick. "No he won't we're ninja, Gato got nothing on us." Naruto replied calmly. Inari had tears in his eyes as he became even angrier. "You're so stupid! Trying to act cool! You don't know what it's like to live a hard life!" Inari shouted.
There was deadly silence as Naruto glared over at Inari. Naruto's eyes had changed from their cerulean blue instead they were blood red with black slits. Kakashi, Anko, and Kurenai all went on guard not knowing what was going to happen. Naruto growled angrily, showing his canines scaring the small boy. What happened next shocked everyone; Naruto quickly vanished and grabbed Inari by his neck holding him off the ground with one hand. Kakashi was about to jump in and save Inari only for Anko grab her wrist to stop her. The silverette looked down at Anko who just shook her head and motion her to see it through. "You don't think I know what a hard life feels like?!" Naruto spoke with an icy tone that made everyone flinch. "You have no idea what my life was like, it was living hell since the day I was born! I suggest you shut up or that mouth of yours is going to be the death of you." Naruto shouted as he dropped the boy and his eyes changed back to their blue.
Inari scooted back against a wall in fright as he watched the blonde closely. "Naruto-baka! Look what you did! You made Inari-san cry, you monster!" Sakura yelled out quickly clamping her hand over her mouth. Naruto began to shake angrily as he turned and glare at everyone; he looked down as his hair shadowed his eyes. "Sakura-san you don't know what daddy has been through!" Kaga yelled out but stopped when Naruto flared his KI. "I'm going for a walk, enjoy the meal." Naruto said as he walked out of the house. "Daddy's mad." Shion whimpered out as she climbed onto Tsunami's lap. "Don't worry Sakura-san; I doubt that Uzumaki-san's life was as bad as he made it to be." Sai said as he tried to comfort his teammate. Anko narrowed her eyes at the girl, "I'm afraid that it's ten times worse than that. He was beat everyday and several attempts on his life. He was an orphan and lived on the streets since he was four." Anko said gaining several gasps from everyone.
"That's horrible why would anybody do that to a child?" Tsunami asked as she tried to fight back her tears. "Because of what he is." Anko replied making Kakashi elbow her in her ribs. "You can't tell them anything more." Kakashi said making everyone confused except for Anko, Kurenai, Shion, and Kaga. "Nee-chan what is she talking about? What's the big secret about daddy?" Kaga whispered. Kurenai over heard her and decided to answer. "I'll tell you later tonight." She said as she squeezed the girl that was on her lap. "Do you think that daddy will be alright?" Shion asked making Anko nod. "Yea he just needs to blow off some steam, plus you know that he can protect himself." Anko said as she went for seconds. "Plus there's more food for us!" she added happily making everyone to sweat drop at her. "He is a really good cook isn't he?" Tsunami said as she started to eat again not paying attention to Inari, because she thought it was about time that someone set him straight and knock him out of his funk. 'Hokage should know about this as well, the demon vessel losing control.' Kakashi thought as she started to write in a scroll.
~Naruto's Location~
Naruto angrily punched a tree as he thought about what Inari had said. "He thinks that he has such a bad life because Gato killed Kaiza and turned this village into a hell hole. At least he has family and a home with a bed and food to eat." He said out loud as he punched the tree again. "That's it I'll go and pay a visit to Gato and steal all of his money, hell what Tsunami-chan told me she could run this village better than he can." He said looking around trying to find where Gato's lair. Naruto gained an evil smile as he formed a plan to steal his money. 'And after I take his riches I'll kill him.' He thought as he made his way out of the woods and into the village. Naruto walked through the town, sticking to the shadows making sure that no one sees him. After five minutes of stealthy running through the village he was in front of Gato's compound. Naruto watched from a tree branch as the bandits made their security rounds. Naruto jumped down and quickly jumped over the gate and stuck to the shadows and made his way towards Gato's room, avoiding the bandits on his way.
Naruto came to a large bed room and stayed in the corner, waiting for Gato to come in. A few minutes later the door opened and a short man walked in with a woman. 'Shit I didn't expect this, maybe I can get her to leave.' Naruto thought as he watched from the shadows. "Alright I want those two to kill that bridge builder tomorrow! No excuses! Now leave me." Gato yelled out making the woman flinch and Naruto to grin. 'Well he just made this ten times easier.' He thought as his eyes turned red. Naruto quickly went through hand seals and placed a privacy barrier up and undo his henge as Gato got ready for bed. Just as Gato climbed in his bed Naruto made his presence known. "Hello there Gato-san my name is Kitsune and King of demons. I came here to offer you a deal." Naruto said startling Gato. Gato was about to call for his guards but the man that stood in front of him interested him. "And why would the King of demons want to make me a deal?" he asked a little curious.
Naruto grinned as Gato took the bait. "Well since I'm the Demon King and close friends with the Shinigami I heard that you're going to be coming to the underworld in the upcoming days. But since you're such a wealthy man I always offer men this deal some take it some don't." Naruto said making Gato cross his arms. "And what is this deal that you keep talking about?" Gato asked getting a little peeved. "Well in exchange of your money you won't be tortured and there's package deals each package comes with something. The most expensive package will come with a mansion, butlers and maids and an endless supply of sex slaves." Naruto pitched and the last part really intrigued Gato. "And how do I know that you are telling me the truth and not just trying to steal my money?" he asked making Naruto growl and unleash his KI making Gato tremble with fear.
"YOU DARE TO CALL ME A THIEF AND A LIAR!?" Naruto growled out and reached in his trench coat and pulled out scroll and unsealed a piece of paper that he placed a Genjutsu on. "Now if you are interested in my offer all I need is your signature." Naruto said as he unsealed a pen for Gato. "Before I sign how do I know that my slaves are attractive?" he asked with an evil grin. Naruto saw what he was trying to do and decided to play along. "Oh of course Gato-san my apologies." Naruto said as he went through some hand seals but just made shadow clones that were henged into different women. As the smoke cleared Gato got a nose bleed as he looked at the beautiful fox women that stood in front of his bed. "These are just a few of women that would be yours, so do we have a deal?" Naruto asked making Gato jump out of his bed and snatched the paper out of Naruto's hands and signed the bottom.
"That's good to hear now the matter of your payment." Naruto said as Gato got out of bed and walked across the room to a giant safe. Gato quickly spun the dial and the door slowly opened showing Naruto the large stacks of money. "This should get me the most expensive package plus have extra." Gato said laughing as he looked at all of his fortune. Naruto motioned for his clones to seal away all of the money and after several minutes it was all sealed. "Well unfortunately Gato-san you only have enough to pay for the mansion, butlers and maids. If you want the sex slaves you'll have to find more money or sign over your assets." Naruto said making Gato sweat. 'Dam I was hoping to get the slaves and keep some of my stuff.' He thought before walking over to his desk and pulled out a stack of deeds. "This should be enough right?" he asked as Naruto went through all of the deeds. 'I really would like to kill this fucker; he literally has the deed to every property in Wave. "Yes this is enough, sign them over and I'll see you in a few days." Naruto said handing Gato back the deeds. "And when am I supposed to die?" Gato asked as he signed the papers. Naruto looked at him trying to think of something, he really didn't think it was going to be this easy.
"Well unfortunately Gato-san the agreement that I have with the Shinigami I'm not allowed to tell you exactly when you will die just around it. If I did she can personally take your soul and keep it in her belly for all of eternity." Naruto replied making Gato gulp and nod. It took Gato twenty minutes to sign over all of his properties many because he kept getting distracted by Naruto's clones. Naruto smirked as his clones flirted with the man, 'Wow this is way easier than I anticipated.' He thought as he looked down and saw Gato's ledgers. Naruto then looked up at one of his clones and motion for it to keep his attention elsewhere. As Gato flirted with the clones Naruto quickly picked up and sealed all of the ledgers making Gato's desk looking a little bear. "Alright Kitsune-sama that should be the last of my property." Gato said as he pushed the pile of papers across his desk. Naruto smiled and sealed them away in the same scroll as the ledgers. "Good and as I promise when you die you'll be one of the wealthiest people in underworld." Naruto said standing and his clones walked back over towards him. "Wait! Can't these lovely ladies stay here? I do own them after all." Gato asked as he walked around to Naruto. "Sorry Gato-san but they can't stay away from the underworld to long or they'll die. Now if you excuse me I have other clients that I have to attend to." Naruto said as he Shunshined away in a swirl of fire.
~Woods~
Naruto reappeared in the woods and laughed loudly. "I can't believe that asshole took me seriously, I mean there was times where I thought wow this is complete bullshit!" he laughed out as he held his stomach. "Alright let's see how much money he had." He said to himself as he unsealed the money and began to count it. It took Naruto several hours and a couple hundred shadow clones to count all of the money. Naruto's eyes almost popped out of his head as he looked at the number, "Holy shit, that fucker had a hundred thirteen billion yen." He whispered out and pulled out his last two empty scrolls. "Alright guys I want you to seal ten percent in this one and the rest in the other." He said to his clones as they saluted and got to work immediately. Naruto then grabbed the scroll that he sealed the ledgers and deeds in and began to read them all. It took the clones another hour before they finished and threw Naruto the scroll before dispelling themselves. Naruto quickly caught the scroll and pocketed it and the others and noticed that the sun was coming up. "I guess that I better get some shut eye before I head back." He yawned out and laid down under a tree and fell asleep.
Naruto woke up to a melody being hummed. He opened his eyes and seen what to appear as a girl picking herbs. "Oh you're finally awake Naru-kun, sorry if my humming woke you." The girl said as she turned around to face the sleepy blonde. "H-Haku? What are you doing out here and is Momo-chan here as well?" he asked, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. Haku giggled as she walked over and sat next to Naruto. "Well to answer your questions I'm out here picking herbs to heal Zabuza Ka-san since she was injured badly. And yes she'll be fine she should be up and walking today." Haku said as she went back and started to pick more herbs. "So I take it that Gato hired you two to kill the bridge builder." Naruto said making Haku tense at the comment. "Yes he did and by your headband you and I are on opposite teams." Haku replied getting into a defensive stance.
Naruto chuckled as he started to pick some herbs and placed them in Haku's basket. "Relax Haku-chan I'm not going to fight you or Momo-chan. So how much are you two getting paid?" he asked shocking the girl. "T-ten mill." Haku replied with a blush as she relaxed but still kept an eye on the blonde. "Hmm that's not that bad now I understand why you two took it. But how about this I'll pay you ten million each not to kill him and help us build the bridge instead." Naruto said shocking the girl once again. "W-why would you do that?" she asked shocked at what Naruto had offered. "Well first because we're friends and I prefer not to fight you two and second I don't want you two to kill the old drunk." Naruto said as he finished putting herbs in her basket. "Well you don't have to answer me now but if you and Zabuza are interested in the offer come to this address." He said handing Haku a piece of paper with Tazuna's address on it. "I'll see you later Haku-chan." Naruto said as he licked her cheek and walked back towards Tazuna's. Haku's face was beet red as she held her cheek where Naruto had licked and then looked down at the paper. 'I'm definitely going to convince Ka-san to side with him and the leaf.' She thought as she picked up her basket and walked in the opposite direction as Naruto.
~Tazuna House~
Everyone sat around the table as Tsunami cooked breakfast. "Daddy didn't come back last night; I hope that he's alright." Kaga said worried about Naruto. "He'll be fine; he just had to blow of some steam." Anko said as she glared at Sakura making her bow her head in shame. "Will he be guarding me again today? Because I'll need help around the house." Tsunami asked and before Anko or Kurenai could answer Kakashi beat them to the punch. "Yes he will if he ever gets back from his little temper tantrum." The silverette responded. "Yuhi-san you don't mind watching Tazuna-san again would you? I need Anko's help again today." Kakashi asked making Kurenai sigh and shake her head. "No that would be fine." She replied. Shion and Kaga heard this and looked at each other before speaking. "Can we come and help you out today Ba-chan?" Shion asked as she looked at Kurenai with hopeful eyes. "And I thought that you two would want to train with Anko again." Kurenai giggled out as both Shion and Kaga paled at the statement. "But yes you two can come with me as long as you two do as I say when I say it." Kaga and Shion looked at each other before answering Kurenai at the same time. "Deal!"
Soon the door opened alerting everyone as Naruto walked in yawning. "Good morning everyone." He yawned out as Anko walked over to him and punched him on top of his head. "You Baka, you made Kaga and Shion worry about you all night. Why didn't you come back?" Anko asked as she placed her hands on her hips as she yelled at the blonde. Naruto nervously chuckled and scratched his cheek with his finger. "I'm sorry I was going to but I lost track of time and fell asleep out there." He said as he walked over to Kaga and licked her cheek and the same with Shion who was in the kitchen with Tsunami helping to cook breakfast. "I'm sorry that I made you two worry about me." He said as he started to help Tsunami. "That's alright daddy but you know how Nee-chan gets when she's not sleeping next to you." Shion said making Kaga face redden from embarrassment. "Nee-chan don't tell him that!" Kaga whined out making everyone laugh. "It's alright Kaga-chan if it makes you feel better I didn't sleep that well myself." He said as he helped set the table. "Now what is my job for today?" he asked as he walked back to the kitchen.
"Well we've decided that you will be watching Tsunami-san again while Kurenai watches Tazuna and Anko-chan helps me with my team." Kakashi said as she took a sip of her coffee. "Alright and what will you two be doing today?" he asked looking at Kaga and Shion. "Well Kurenai Ba-chan said that we could go with her and help guard Tazuna-san." Shion replied making Naruto smile. "Alright but you two do everything that she tells you to do no arguing alright." He said as he brought out the food as Tsunami brought out the drinks. "We will daddy." Kaga said as she filled her plate up with food.
Everyone ate breakfast quickly and rushed out of the door leaving Naruto and Tsunami with the mess. "Don't worry Tsunami-chan I'll clean up, just sit down and relax." Naruto said as he made his way towards the kitchen. Tsunami blushed as she followed the blonde to help out. "Well Naru-kun I won't be a good hostess if I made you clean." She said as she rolled up her sleeves and began to wash the dirty dishes. "Alright but I'll dry and put them away." Naruto responded as he grabbed a towel and stood next to Tsunami waiting for the wet dishes. "Tell me again Tsunami-chan how much do you know about running a company?" he asked trying to start a conversation. "Well like I said yesterday I went to college for business and got my degree why do you ask?" Tsunami said looking at the blonde with a smile. "If you had a chance could you run Wave? I mean hypothetically speaking."
Tsunami was in shock by the question. "Yea I believe I could. Anything is better than Gato." She said as she went back to washing. Naruto got a large smile on his face that made Tsunami blush, "Follow me." He said as he made a couple of shadow clones to finish the dishes and pulled Tsunami away. Naruto lead Tsunami back to her bed room and her mind was going a million miles an hour. 'Is he going to make a move on me? Do I even want him to make a move? What would Inari or Tou-san think? Is he even interested in me?' she thought as more and more questions filled her head. Naruto quickly placed up a privacy seal so no one would over hear what he was going to tell her. "Alright Tsunami-chan the thing is that I tricked Gato in giving me all of his money and properties that he owns and well I was thinking since you're the only person in Wave that I know that could run it." He said reaching in his trench coat and pulling out to scrolls. Tsunami snapped out of her daze. "Wh-what do you mean you tricked him?" she stuttered out not really believing the blonde.
"Well like I had said I tricked him in giving me all of his money and properties in exchange that he'll be treated like a king when he dies in the upcoming days." Naruto said laying one of the scrolls down and channeled his chakra and unsealed the contents. Tsunami's eyes almost popped out of her head as she looked at the mountain of money that was in her bedroom. "This is all of his money minus ten percent that I took which leaves a hundred and two billion." Once he said how much Tsunami passed out. Tsunami awoke with her head in Naruto's lap; she looked up at him before sitting up. "I'm sorry Naru-kun I thought that you just showed me a crap load of money." She said as she rubbed her head. "Well I did Tsunami-chan." He said as he pointed over at the pile of cash that was still out. "And this is his ledger that he kept. I thought that you could give back most of the money that he took from you and the others. And these are all of the properties that he owned which he signed over, all you need to do is sign your name and they will be yours to do whatever with."
Tsunami took a bit to process everything before she spoke. "I'll do my best Naru-kun, thank you so much. What will you do about Gato when he finds out that you tricked him?" she asked a little worried about the safety of the blonde. Naruto chuckled as he started to seal everything back into the scrolls. "Well like I told you I tricked him into giving me all of this for him to be treated like a king when he dies in the upcoming days." He replied again which Tsunami picked up on. "You're going to kill him." She whispered making Naruto nod. "Well yea it was my mission after all. Now you been practicing your chakra exercises that I taught you right? Because you'll going to be needing them to get the money and deeds out." Tsunami nodded and got up and enveloped him in a tight hug which made the blonde chuckle. As Naruto pulled away something fell out of Tsunami's sleeve, as he got closer he noticed that it was pictures, pictures of him.
