Chapter 36: Final Exams Part 2

Sasuke pulled his arm out of the ground as the medics came to tend to Gaara. "You better watch it dobe." Sasuke said as he started to make his way towards the room. "Sorry about that Genma-san please continue." Naruto said as he hurried after Gaara. Genma bit down harder on the Senbon that was in his mouth. "Will Kankuro and Shino Aburame please come on down." Kankuro and Shino jumped down and got into their fighting stance. "Begin!" Genma yelled and jumped back from the two. Kankuro placed his hands together, 'PUPPET MASTER JUTSU!' he yelled inside of his head. Shino's bugs started to crawl out of his sleeves and soon a swarm was buzzing around him. Kankuro grabbed the bandaged mummy on his back and quickly unwrapped it with his chakra strings. Shino stood there watching as the puppet came to life. "I'm from the Aburame Clan of the Leaf Village…When we fight; we never underestimate our opponent, no matter what puny insects they may be." Shino told Kankuro.

Kankuro shot his arm forward and his puppet went and charged Shino. When it got close Kankuro moved his fingers and a hidden blade ejected from the puppets wrist making Shino jump back at the last second. Shino saw the blade even more he saw what was on the blade. 'Poison on the blade!' he thought while still in mid air. Kankuro kept making his puppet lunge at Shino and Shino did the same thing as last time, he dodged it. This time when Kankuro had his puppet advance, six curved blades came out of the puppet's ribcage. Shino quickly threw a Kunai hitting it directly in the chest. Soon as the Kunai hit the puppet it was surrounded by smoke and a log was in its place. "A substitution?!" Shino whispered out as he jumped away. The puppet was now in striking range of Shino and it opened its mouth and shot out two blades. One hitting Shino in his left shoulder and the other one hit his forehead.

"Alright!" Kankuro said cockily. Then Shino fell forward and his body dissolves into insects shocking Kankuro. Then he saw Shino next to him and quickly ducked down to avoid Shino's fist and jumped away. "Your reach encompasses from medium to long distance and you use a puppet. I didn't think you would do well in close combat." Shino said looking at the puppet master. "You're very aware of the weakness of a puppet master! But however from here on I'll show you the essence of this Ninjutsu fighting style." Kankuro replied moving his hand making the puppet stand up. "The real terror of Crow… my puppet of warfare!" Kankuro yelled and Crow's arm opened up and shot a missile at Shino. Shino quickly put his hands out in front of him and his bugs made a shield like barrier but it didn't stop the missile. 'This is a poison smoke bomb!' Shino thought as he used his arm to cover his mouth.

Shino quickly jumped out of the giant purple cloud of smoke. When he landed he wobbled and fell to his knee. 'Did I inhale… a little bit?' he asked himself panting. 'I get it… And the caster of the Jutsu hides, eh?' Shino thought as Kankuro hid in a nearby bush. 'It looks like the poison has slowly started to circulate. I'll finish this!' Kankuro thought as he brought his hand up. Crow slowly got behind Shino and spun around hitting Shino with its hidden blade, but Shino burst into a cloud of insects again. 'Hey what's wrong!' Kankuro asked himself as he tried to move Crow but the puppet didn't move, that's when he saw the bugs coming out of one of the puppet's arms. "It's futile… He can't move anymore… I had the beetles burrow into every joint." Shino said as Kankuro watched. 'He stuffed beetles into its joints so that the puppet can't move? Now the beetles are passing through the threads of my chakra. That was his aim from the beginning!'

Kankuro quickly cut the strings himself shocking Shino and then reattached them to Crow's head. The puppet's head then shot off and Kankuro started to control it as it turn to fly at Shino. Shino watched as he continued to use his bugs. Crow's mouth opened and a blade came out, dripping with poison, and right before it could reach Shino it stopped. Kankuro grunted as he looked down at his hands and noticed that there were insects crawling all over his hands. Kankuro screamed as the beetles ate his chakra then he passed out from chakra exhaustion. "Winner, Shino Aburame!" Genma yelled out making the crowd cheer. The medics came and got Kankuro and carried him off while Shino slowly made his way back to the contestant booth. Once back in the room Naruto smiled and patted him on his shoulder. "That was cool! I never seen an Aburame fight before." The blonde praised the bug user.

~Shikamaru vs. Temari~

Genma asked for the last two contestants to come down. Temari quickly used her fan and made an air current and glided down on the fan. "Shikamaru Nara!" Genma yelled out as Shikamaru sighed. "I don't want to fight a girl. This is just troublesome." He said and before he could forfeit Naruto slapped him on his back, pushing him over the ledge. "Come on Shikamaru! Fight hard and show Ka-chan." he yelled out as Shikamaru fell into the arena. 'Dam it Naruto!' Shikamaru thought as he lay on his back looking up at the sky. "If you don't come, I'll go!" Temari yelled out and ran at Shikamaru. "Hey! I haven't started the match yet…" Genma said but it was too late. Temari used her fan as a sledge hammer and slammed it down on Shikamaru. A large cloud of dust was formed and when it cleared Shikamaru was standing in front of where Temari's fan struck. "Well…let's do it!" he replied with a smile.

Temari quickly took her fan and swung it at Shikamaru only for him to disappear, leaving two Kunai in the wall. 'He's quick to run away.' She thought as she turned to face the trees. 'He's the kind of Ninja that uses shadows.' She thought as she continued to stare at the trees. 'Why am I the only one who always gets a woman for an opponent?!' Shikamaru thought as he looked at Temari from his hiding place. Temari swung again and Shikamaru crossed his arms in front of him to shield him from the wind as it left small cuts in the tree trunks. Temari smirked then quickly back flipped away as she saw a shadow come from the trees. Once she landed on her feet she saw that the shadow stopped and made a line on the ground with her fan. "I see… evidently there's a limit to the stretching and shortening. It can only span up to the size of your own shadow." Temari said, slamming her fan down on the line. 'This is the limit to how far the shadow can stretch, Fifty feet.' She thought.

Shikamaru looked up at the sky then brought his hands together to make a circle as he closed his eyes. A few seconds later he opened them and grabbed a Kunai from his pouch and took cover behind a tree as another wave of wind came his way, cutting slices in the trunk. Shikamaru panted as he took off his shirt leaving him in his mesh underlay. "How long are you going to run away! Cut it out!" Temari yelled as she swung her fan, sending another wave at the trees. Once the wave of air hit a Kunai came flying out at her, landing at her feet. Temari used her fan to block another Kunai and watch as Shikamaru's shadow come at her. 'As long as I'm on the outside of this line. No, wait! That was a close call!' she thought jumping back from the shadow. "You caught on fast." Shikamaru said stepping out from his hiding place. "As the sun goes down, the shadows lengthen." Temari replied, sounding like it was common fact.

"Temari-chan above you!" Naruto yelled out making the Suna Ninja look up. She quickly jumped back gritting her teeth as Shikamaru's shadow started to grow more. Shikamaru's shirt was tied to a Kunai and floating there. Temari quickly jumped to the side and the shadow fallowed her. 'I didn't expect that he would create extra shadows to reach me. A skillful technique.' she thought as she continued to jump away from the shadow. Temari stopped as the Kunai landed on the ground and Shikamaru's shadow stopped chasing.

Temari looked up at the sun and stuck her fan in the ground. 'I'll defeat him with the next one!' she thought looking over at the Nara. Shikamaru's shadow retreated and Temari went through hand signs. "Clone." She said but stopped. 'My…body is…?' she thought as she was unable to move. "At last… Shadow Possession Jutsu is a success!" Shikamaru said shocking Temari. 'Why won't my body move?' Temari asked herself and Shikamaru answered her unasked question. "Here I'll let you take a look behind you…" he said turning his head to look behind him. Temari's body copied his actions as her head turned to the side and she saw that Shikamaru's shadow came out of a crater behind her. 'My body is moving on its own! I can't resist it!' Temari thought as Shikamaru started to walk forward making Temari walk as well. Shikamaru raised his arm, "Good grief… I give up!" he said shocking Temari. "This has become such a pain." Shikamaru said as he shrugged. "The winner is Temari!" Genma yelled as the crowd was mixed with cheers and boos.

Hiruzen walked up to the ledge and raised his hand silencing the crowd. "Thank you all for coming out to the first round of the Chunin Exams. Naruto taunted.

Naruto made ten shadow clones and they made a circle around Sasuke. "Well it looks like this is the end for you Uchiha any last words?" Naruto asked. Sasuke grunted and changed his Taijutsu style to the Uchiha style. Each of the clones dropped a Kunai and charged him, and one after another Sasuke popped the clone. "Hn… I guess that the famous Kitsune style isn't much compared to the great Uchiha style." Sasuke said. Naruto unsheathed his sword and got down low to the ground. "This is where you die." Naruto said. "Ka-san…daddy's going to…" Kaga said as she got upset. Kyu looked over at Mikoto, "I know sweetie. Sorry Mikoto-san but Naruto is going to kill your clan member." Kyu said giving her a sad look. Mikoto looked down at the arena with concern.

The medics came out to check Sasuke and one of them covered him with a sheet and placed him on the stretcher. "Winner Naruto Uzumaki." Genma said.

The crowd erupted in protest as the medics carried off the dead Uchiha. "Arrest him!" some yelled as others said more upsetting phrase. "Kill the demon! It killed the Uchiha!" others yelled. Naruto just sighed and made his way back to the contestants' box. Temari was happy that she was there as Shino kept his distance. "Congrats Naruto on winning!" Temari yelled out and jumped on him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Thanks Temari-chan…" he mumbled out as the crowd continued to chant to kill him. "Don't worry, Gaara-chan has the same problem back home but instead everyone goes out of their way to avoid her." Temari said as she sat him down. She wanted to stay and comfort him but Genma called her name as well as Shino's.

"Wish me luck foxy!" she said as she kissed his cheek. Naruto smiled as she got up and walk away. "Temari-chan wait!" he said, running up to her. "Thank you for trying to help and good luck." He said and licked her cheek. Temari blushed and started to twiddle her fingers. "Umm…Can I touch your whiskers for good luck?" she asked with a blush. Naruto sighed and smiled, "Sure just not both at the same time." He said and Temari's eyes lit up with stars and she started to rub his cheek. Naruto started to purr and Temari giggled and she was going to play with his other cheek but Genma called her name again. "Got to go, thanks Naruto!" she yelled as she ran towards the field. Temari stood across from Shino who just stood there with his hands in his pockets.

Genma threw his arm down, "Fight!" he yelled and jumped back from the two. Temari quickly flung her fan, sending a wave of air towards Shino. Shino lifted his arms up and thousands of insects flew out of his sleeves. As the bugs got close to Temari she flung her fan again, killing them and sending Shino backwards. Shino kept sending bugs after Temari but she continued to swat them away and Shino stood there panting as he looked towards Temari. "Proctor I forfeit, I cannot continue. Temari-san here destroyed most of my beetles and insects." Shino said and the crowd erupted in cheers and boos. Naruto grinned and jumped over the balcony and walked up to Temari. "Are you ready Temari-chan?" he asked with a grin. "Of course I got luck on my side." Temari said as she pointed a thumb to her chest.

Naruto started to laugh, "Playing with my whiskers might give you some luck but I'm a fox I'm pure luck." Naruto replied making Temari drop her head. "I didn't think about that…" Temari muttered. Temari readied her fan and swung it at Naruto. Naruto quickly pulled out his sword and swung it down. "CUTTING WIRLWIND TECHNIQUE!" He yelled as he cut Temari's attack in half. As he was about to charge Temari she swung her fan once again. Naruto growled and quickly spun, "WIND RELEASE: TORNADO SHIELD!" Naruto yelled out and spun in a circle, making a wind bubble around him. "Hey Ka-san, that looks a lot like our Palm Rotation." Hanabi said as she looked over at Hina. "That's because Naru-kun made that Jutsu after her saw your clans move, making something similar." Kyu answered as everyone turned their attention back down at the two blonde Ninjas.

"WIND SCYTHE!" Temari yelled out as she swung her fan. Naruto dodged and made several shadow clones and they started to throw their Kunai at Temari. 'Shit I can't let those get near me! He's able to teleport to them.' She thought as she swatted away the incoming Kunai's. Temari's arms were starting to get tired as she kept swinging her fan so Naruto's Kunai's didn't get near her. Naruto threw his Kunai and Temari wasn't able to blow it away. 'Shit one got pass me!' she thought and in a flash Naruto was behind and kicked her, sending her flying. As Temari flew over the other Kunai's that she deflected Naruto flashed to her again and kicked her again as he took her fan. Once Temari landed she quickly got up, looking for her fan. "Give up now or your fan will be destroyed." Naruto said shocking Temari.

"Naruto please don't destroy my fan." She pleaded as Naruto began to open it up and began to bend it. "Naruto please stop!" Temari cried out as she saw that anymore pressure her fan was going to rip. "As I said before forfeit and your fan will be speared." Naruto said. "Naruto stop! My Ka-san gave that to me before she died." Temari said as tears started to build up in her eyes. Naruto growled as he hated to do this but he really didn't want to hurt her. Temari then heard a small rip and yelled, "I give up! So Naruto please stop!" Naruto gently fold her fan back up and walked over to her, handing her fan back. "Winner Naruto Uzumaki!" Genma yelled out as the crowd erupted in boos but Naruto didn't care. "Sorry for playing dirty Temari-chan. But can I give you a little piece of advice?" he asked as Temari nodded. "I would hang that fan up and replace it with a new one. If I had something that special I would never put in harm's way."

~Hokage's Box~

"I know who I'm going to request in our little Shinobi trading program!" Orochimaru said with glee in her voice. Hiruzen growled and jumped up, "I'll be dammed if I will let you get your hands on him!" he yelled out as he attacked her. Orochimaru jumped away and up onto the roof with Hiruzen right behind her. "Are you out of your mind Sensei?" Orochimaru asked as four Anbu jumped up and started to perform hand signs. Then all four shouted out, "NINJA ART: FOUR FLAMES FORMATION!" and a large box barrier formed around Hiruzen and the Anbu. "So you're ready to start a war instead of having Naru-kun come to Oto." Orochimaru said. Hiruzen and Orochimaru ran at each other and Hiruzen went through and signs. "NINJA ART: TILE SHURIKEN!" he yelled out as the tiles flew at Orochimaru. "That's too easy Sensei. STRIKING SHADOW SNAKE!" Orochimaru replied as her tongue turned into a snake and shot out, biting Hiruzen on his neck.

As Orochimaru jumped towards Hiruzen he turned into mud, shocking the snake Sanin. 'Substitution?' she thought as her tongue returned back into her mouth. As she landed Sarutobi was next to her already finished performing hand signs. "EARTH STYLE: GREAT MUD RIVER!" and the roof underneath Orochimaru turned into mud and started to wash her away. "Is this it?" she asked as she started hand signs again. "I don't think so!" Hiruzen said, countering her signs with his own. "EARTH STYLE: EARTH DRAGON BOMB!" he yelled. The tip of the mud river rose up, forming a dragon head. The dragon then opened its mouth and shot out multiple mud bullets. Hiruzen then shot out fire from his mouth, setting the bullets on fire, Orochimaru then screamed as the attack hit him. The attacked stopped as Hiruzen glared at where Orochimaru was at. "Stop with the act Orochimaru." He said and Orochimaru came up from the roof.

"Really, I've been underestimated. Did you think you could kill me with that level of Jutsu?" she asked. "Humph…A hateful fellow as usual!" Sarutobi replied. "Aww… don't say that Sensei. A high maintenance student is cute. Right, Sarutobi Sensei?" Orochimaru mocked. "Fine…" he said throwing off his Hokage robes, showing that he was in his battle armor. Down in the crowd the leaf Ninja were attacking the Oto Ninjas. Naruto saw and noticed that Orochimaru was battling for her life so he ran towards the nearest bathroom. Once he entered he checked if it was clear and bit his thumb and summoned his special Anbu. The eight people were a little confused as the smoke cleared, "Alright Ai, Chie, Doi, and Jun I need you four to get everyone to the house, it's your top priority. The four nodded and dispersed leaving Naruto and the remaining four. Now Rena, Miyaku, Tamaki, and Kana I'm going to need you to put on your stealth outfits. Get through that barrier and get Orochimaru to safety, and do not use the Rasengan or the Hiraishin. If you have to use the latter make sure to do it under a smoke cloud so no one will see, understand?" he asked and the remaining four nodded as they placed their cloaks and blank masks on.

As the four landed up on the roof with Orochimaru and Hiruzen they saw that the box was filled with trees and Hiruzen was going through hand seals. "SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!" he yelled out and two clones appeared next to him. Hiruzen started perform hand signs, "Mi, I, Hitsuji, U, Inu, Ne, Tori, Uma, Mi.." he finished by clapping his hands together. "Whatever you do now, it's too late… I've won." Orochimaru said as she stood across from him with the Sodai and Nidaime Hokage. "We have to hurry up and get her out of there!" Kana whispered into her microphone in her mask, getting the others nod as they started to break through the barrier. "GENJUTSU! INFINITE DARKNESS JUTSU!" Tobirama yelled out.

Soon the entire place was black as Hiruzen tried to block incoming attacks only to fail. "Humph… Naruto is worth more than this village if he's gone then we'll be weak! And I'll be damned if I let someone like you take him!" he said and lunged out and grabbed onto someone through the darkness. "I won't let go! Appear!" he yelled and the Shinigami's hand stretched through his gut and reached out. Soon the darkness disappeared showing Hashirama. "Sorry… Sarutobi… We caused you trouble." Tobirama finished as his clone had a hold of. Hiruzen's clones then pulled back, yanking both the Sodai and the Nidaime souls out. "Seal!" they yelled out making the two Hokage's bodies crumble to ashes. "It's over!" Hiruzen said as he grabbed Orochimaru's shoulders. The Shinigami's arm went through Hiruzen's stomach and reached into Orochimaru's. 'Shit, the baby!' she thought as she started to panic. She struggled to lift two fingers, lifting up her blade. "Die!" they both yelled out. The Shinigami started to pull out Orochimaru's soul as her sword flew at Hiruzen.

"Why… didn't you dodge?" she asked shocked. Hiruzen gave Orochimaru a smirk, "There's no need to dodge. I will die, anyway." He replied. "And now, your soul will be dragged out… and sealed!" he added. Orochimaru snarled and looked at the Shinigami, fearing for her life. "Get off of me you old bastard! I won't let you do as you like." She screamed out, wiggling her fingers and making the blade dig deeper into his chest. 'To have come this far! Do I already lack the power to drag out her soul?' he thought as he coughed up some blood. He watched as Orochimaru's soul started to go in and back out of her body. He screamed and pushed Orochimaru, the Shinigami's blade came down and cut through her soul. "Your ambition to take Naruto… dies right here!" he shouted as his body fell to the ground. The four foxes were finally able to break the barrier and knock out the Anbu. "Lady Orochimaru we need to get you out of here and somewhere safer." Tamaki said and threw down a smoke pellet and the five of them Hiraishin away.

Naruto jumped up next to the Daiymyo and whispered something into his ear before jumping up to where Hiruzen and Orochimaru had their battle. The Fire Daiymyo stepped up the ledge and spoke. "Citizens of Konoha this is your Daiymyo speaking, stop attacking Otogakure at once!" he yelled out and everyone stopped fighting and looked up at him. "Anyone attacks anyone else will be punished by death! Oto Ninja return to your village, take your fallen comrades and tell Orochimaru that I will be waiting to see how she wants to treat this incident." He said and returned to his seat. Naruto made his way to Hiruzen and got down to his knees. "Why?" he asked, propping up Hiruzen's head. "She's…*Cough…evil…" Naruto growled and leaned his head down next to his and whispered. "In your eyes maybe but you missed one thing… We're together and I helped her escape, so you did nothing except getting yourself killed." Hiruzen's eyes widen and tried to summon Anbu but Naruto pressed down on one of his pain points. Hiruzen screamed out in pain as he bled out, Naruto dropped his head to hide his grin before standing. 'That's what you deserve you bastard. Orochimaru I hope that you're safe.' He thought.

~Later that Night~

Tsume thought that it was only fare that she hosted another party and invited the Suna team and the other contestants. Temari and the other girls were laughing as they sat and talked, mostly about a special blonde fox. Shikamaru grumbled as he sat with Shino and Choji. "I can't believe that he blew off Neji's arm!" he shouted, looking over at Naruto. "Well Shikamaru he did give Neji-san a chance to concede. He also told him what would happen if he didn't." Shino said, only pissing Shikamaru off more. Naruto of course heard everything and decided to piss off the Nara even more. 'This will show that up tight prick.' He thought and made his way over to Yoshino. "Hey Yoshi-chan!" he yelled out getting her attention. Yoshino blushed as he called her by her nickname in public. "What is it Naru-kun?" she asked as Tsume and Hina looked at their friend get flustered. "I was wondering if you were going to come by later." He said making her blush. "I-I was g-going to stay here t-tonight but I can if you wanted me to." She said as her cheeks turn redder. "I would love it." He replied and kissed her, shocking her and everyone else that saw.

Her eyes went wide as she saw Shikamaru staring at her. She quickly pushed Naruto away, making the blonde fall on his butt. "What the hell Yoshi-chan?" he asked as he got up, dusting off his clothes. "Shikamaru just saw you and I kiss!" she whispered. "And? He told me that you and Shikaku split up so I figured that you wouldn't mind but I guess that I was wrong, sorry." He said as he scowled, walking away. "Naruto wait! I'm sorry." Yoshino said as she tried to chase but stopped. "Maybe you should stay here tonight; I don't even know why he placed a mate mark on you. He obviously wanted to mate with you tonight." Kyu said as she walked away as well. Naruto walked over to the girls and they all stopped talking and looked at him. "What do I have something on my face?" he asked as he pointed to his face. "What? Don't be silly come sit with Gaara-chan and me." Temari said as she pulled on his arm. Naruto sat down between the two and felt the warmth of the fire. "Hey daddy do you want a S'more?" Kaga asked.

"So Gaara-chan when do you and Temari-chan leave for Suna?" he asked. "Umm… we leave in a couple of days." The redhead said. "Ooo! We all can go shopping tomorrow then relax in the hot springs." Ino said as she pictured using Gaara as a dress up doll. Haku looked down a little embarrassed, "I'll pass on the hot springs but I would love to go shopping with you guys." He said, bumming Ino and the others out. "Oh come on Haku-chan it be nice! It'll be a girl's day." Kiba said shocking the leaf Ninja. "When did Kiba become a girly girl?" Sakura asked in a whisper to Ino, who just shrugged in return. "Daddy can you get us more marshmallows?" Kaga asked as she dumped an empty bag showing Naruto that she was truly out. Naruto and the others laughed. "Of course Kaga-chan." he said as he got up. Once Naruto was gone Haku got up to leave when he was pulled down by Ino. Haku let out a yelp and jumped up rubbing his butt making everyone look at his seat. "What's wrong?" Ino asked as Haku slowly sat back down with a blush on his face. Haku pondered if he should tell them and decided to, "Well I'll tell you guys if you can keep a secret." He said getting several nods. "Well this morning Naru-kun came to visit Mei-sama and we… ummm…." He paused as his face got redder.

All of the girls had blushes on their faces as they all looked across the compound at the blonde. "You mean you and him did…" Satsuki said pausing. "Yea and he was a little bit rough." Haku said and blood started to leak from the girl's noses as they pictured it. "How big is he?" Sakura asked in a whisper making Izumi growl at the pinkette. Haku only responded by holding his hands apart and the gap between shocked everybody. "Well he is huge, that what makes him a great mate!" Yuno said getting a nod from the other girls that had his mate mark. Before anyone could say anything else Naruto came back with several bags of marshmallows, Graham crackers and chocolate. "Here you go Kaga-chan, I hope that this is enough for you all." He said and noticed that everyone was looking at him with blushes. "What? Do I have something on me?" he asked, spinning in a circle. "No they were talking…" Shion stopped as Izumi's hand covered her mouth. "We were just talking about girl stuff." Izumi quickly said. Naruto grinned and sat down back in his seat only for his name to be called. "Well I gotta go, how about a S'more to go?" he asked Kaga who made him one.

Mei and Kyu just finished talking about Haku when Mei called Naruto over. "Yea?" he asked as he approached them. "I just want to see and congratulate you on winning the exams. But I knew that you were going to win. I still don't know why the Hokage made you a Genin." Mei said, wrapping her arms around Naruto's neck. Tsume and the others now walked up to him, handing him a drink. "Drink up pup! You're a winner and this is basically your party." Tsume said as she handed him a drink. Yoshino looked down blushing before calming her nerves. She then walked up to Naruto and grabbed him by his neck and kissed him making Tsume and other Inuzuka's to whistle making everyone to look at the two. "I still would like to come over tonight if you still want me to." Yoshino said as she pulled back from the kiss. "Of course I do." He replied as he wagged his tail and gave her a foxy smile. Shikamaru was now beyond pissed; he got up and walked home thinking of ways to get even with Naruto.

~Morning~

Naruto woke up with Yoshino cuddling up next to him with Shion and Kaga. Shion was in her animal form, sleeping between her breasts while Kaga was in her child state sleeping between them hugging a bag of marshmallows. 'I guess that's another treat that I'll have to make sure she doesn't eat too much of.' He thought. He carefully woke up Kaga and Shion and kissed Yoshino to wake her. "Hmmm…Good morning Naru-kun." Yoshino yawned out. "Let's go get washed up for the day." Naruto said, climbing out of the bed and walking towards the bathroom. "Yea! We have a girl's day with Ino Ba-chan and the others!" Kaga yelled as she remembered. "Since you guys have a girl's day, I guess that I can go and check out the Uzumaki compound and clean it up today." He replied. The four of them quickly got washed up and dressed when Yoshino spoke. "I guess that I can go apartment hunting today and get my stuff moved out of Shikaku's place." Yoshino said as she soaped up her body.

Naruto thought and decided once Yoshino said that she needed a place to stay. "You don't have to find an apartment Yoshi-chan. You can live in the Uzumaki compound with us but in the mean time you'll have to stay here." Naruto said as he started to shampoo Shion's hair. "Yay! Baa-chan is going to live with us!" Shion and Kaga yelled out making Naruto laugh. "That's a nice offer Naru-kun but I can't, what will Shikamaru think?" she said sadly. "Well if he is as smart as everyone says he is, he'll be happy that his Ka-san is happy." Naruto said as he rinsed the soap off Shion. Yoshino blushed and thought about it, 'What will the village think? The Nara matriarch running away so she can be with a younger man.' She thought and Naruto picked up on it. "If you're worried about what people will say, you can have your own house." And after he said that Yoshino smiled and nodded her head. "Alright I'll do it; I'll come and live with you and the other Uzumaki's." Yoshino said with a smile.

~Later~

Ino and the other girls came and got both Shion and Kaga and left, Naruto told Kyu what he was going to do and that Yoshino was going to living with them. Kyu was happy because Naruto was actually happy and she loved seeing his actual smile. "Alright then I'll fill out the necessary paper work for her to move in and tell the council later." Kyu said and she waved bye to Naruto as he walked out of the house. Naruto followed the directions that Tsume had given him and now he stood in front of a worn down compound with the Uzumaki swirl between the two doors. Naruto walked in and took in everything as he walked. He stopped at what appeared to be the clan's leader's house when an idea came to him. 'I know I can teleport the other house here and keep this one in a storage scroll. But first let's see if there's anything valuable inside.' He thought and made over a thousand clones.

Twenty clones ran inside and sealed all of the books and scrolls before returning back outside handing the real Naruto the storage scrolls. "Alright guys now for the tricky part we need to seal the house!" he yelled out as his clones pumped their fists in the air. Naruto and his clones made a circle around the house and started to write a seal and after a half hour they finished. "Alright guys on the count of three! One...Two…Three! Seal!" they all yelled and the house puffed in a cloud of smoke. "Alright let's go get the other house." Naruto said dispelling his clones and running to the other house. Once he arrived, Kallen and Miyuki greeted him and told them of his plan and they were shocked to say the least. Naruto made sure that no one was inside and made more shadow clones to help him write the seal that was around the house and just like last he was able to seal the house but this time he took the backyard and Au's grave.

Now both Kallen and Miyuki followed Naruto to the new compound and watched as he unsealed the house. Naruto made sure that the security around the house was working and he disabled the Genjutsu that had been placed. "So this is where we're staying now?" Kallen asked. "Yup and don't worry I'll fix it up but you guys can go in." he replied. Naruto then went and told his clones to start fixing up the place and place security seals around the houses that the girls will stay in. Naruto was happy because the houses didn't need to be really fixed just cleaned, which was really easy for him. He just opened the windows and doors and used a mild wind Jutsu and all of the dust and cob webs were blown out. Naruto took a break around lunch time and ate with Kallen and Miyuki, both gate guards loving the location of their new home. All Naruto needed to do was cut the grass and trim the bushes, lucky for him he had an unlimited supply of clones to help.

It was now night time and all that needed to be done is the gate needed to be replaced and everything needed to be repainted. 'I'll have to have the wooden gate doors special ordered but I can paint everything tomorrow. I better go and find the girls so they know where to go.' He thought as he had his clones run out of the compound to search for the girls. Naruto himself decided that he would go to the Nara compound and help Yoshino gather her things and help her move into one of the houses. Naruto rang the bell and waited and waited then he rang it again then the door opened to show a yawning Nara. "Yea what is it?" he asked. "Hi I'm here to help Yoshino-san gather her things." He said with a smile, trying to be friendly. The guy then closed the door and soon he heard Yoshino and Shikaku yelling, he wanted to rush in and help but he knew that he couldn't because she was in the Nara's compound. The gate door opened and Yoshino quickly grabbed Naruto's arm and yanked him inside. "Here Naru-kun you can help me seal my things." She said as she led him to her old bedroom.

Naruto felt the Nara's glare at him but didn't pay any of them any attention and followed Yoshino towards her bedroom. "Don't get any ideas and take anything that isn't yours." Shikaku said as he stood in the door frame. "Don't worry I wasn't planning on it." Yoshino replied with anger in her voice. "I still can't believe that you would do something like this! Cheating on me with the village's demon no less." Once he said that Naruto pinned him against the wall with a Kunai against his throat. "I should kill you right here just for breaking the third's law but I won't and if you or any other Nara tries anything just remember Yoshi-chan is now under the Uzumaki's." Naruto threaten and released Shikaku. Yoshino quickly threw all of her clothes and jewelry onto the bed and Naruto sealed it all into one scroll. Naruto grabbed Yoshino left in a Hiraishin. Soon they appeared in front of the house, Yoshino looked around and saw the compound and smiled. "It looks great Naru-kun." She said wiping a tear from her eye. "Thank you Yoshi-chan and you can pick any house her and it'll be yours." He said as he showed her the houses.

Yoshino walked up to a house that was next to Naruto's and spun around. "I'll take this one." She said with a giant grin. "Alright but first you'll need to add your blood to this scroll and chakra just like you did with my house." Naruto said as he handed her a scroll. Yoshino quickly pricked her finger and added her chakra to a piece of paper and sealed it into the scroll and handed it back to Naruto. Naruto sealed it in the gate fence and opened the gate for her. "Here once you get settled come over and we'll eat." Naruto said as he watched Yoshino walk into her new home. All of the girls came and both Kaga and Shion squealed and ran up to Naruto. "This is where we're going to be living from now on?" Shion asked. Naruto chuckled and nodded, "Yes it is and Naya-chan, Kuroki-chan there is a weapon shop down there if you want you can move your business here." he said and both girls walked down the road and came to a weapon store that already had seals and Kunai's. "What do you think Naya-chan? I mean we barely able to turn a profit with all of the repairs that we have to do and now that we'll be in the clan district anyone that does decide to vandalize will be punished." The slug princess said and Naya looked over at Naruto. "I guess that it's settled we'll move here, can you help us pack and move?" Naya asked. Naruto gave them a smile. "Of course I will, now let's go and eat."

As everyone walked into the house Naruto stopped and sniffed the air, smelling someone then he was tackled. "Naru-kun we're so happy that you decided to move next door to us!" Ena said then they felt KI. "Listen here pup, even though Naruto might not mind you jump the fence to see him I do! I can't just have my clansmen trespass into other clan's property! We can lose our clan status over this." Tsume growled out as she jumped over the wall that divided their clans. "Sorry Tsume-sama." Ena quietly spoke. "Tsume Ka-san you know I'll never would do that to you. But Ena-chan she's right if the other clans get word of this they'll claim that the Inuzuka's are trying to steal clan secrets and not only you guys lose your clan status but you can even get kicked out of Konoha." Naruto told the Inuzuka. "So just asked next time and then jump over." He added which cheered Ena up. "Alright it's time for dinner would you two like to join us?" he asked. "Sorry pup but we can't maybe next time." Tsume said and as she was about to leave she saw Yoshino walk out of her house.

Tsume turned and looked at Naruto who just grinned in return. "I just couldn't let Yoshi-chan live in an apartment all by herself now can I? Don't worry Kyu-chan filled out all of the necessary paperwork to list her as part of the Uzumaki's." Naruto informed which made Tsume smile. "You have a big heart you know that pup?" she said really not expecting a response. "I know but you all took care of me when I needed it now it's my turn." He said and licked her cheek as he watched both Inuzuka's jump back over the wall. "Ready for dinner Yoshi-chan?" he asked. "Yea, and I wanted to thank you again for the house it's wonderful but its missing something." She replied. "Really what?" he asked confused. Yoshino chuckled and hugged him. "Furniture, I need a bed, sofa, table ext." she whispered and Naruto slapped his forehead. "I can't believe that I forgot something like that! I guess that you'll just have to stay the night with me and tomorrow we can go shopping after the Hokage's funeral." He said as he led her into the house.
