Chapter 37: Finding a New Hokage

Naruto and the others quickly got dressed for Sarutobi's funeral. As the Uzumaki's left the compound in a group they ran into Tsume, Hana, and Kiba as they were on their way as well. "Hi Shion-chan, Kaga-chan." Tsume said as the two girls went up and hugged her. "Why do we have to go to the funeral?" Kaga whined out as they continued to walk towards the Hokage's tower. "Because pup, you're a part of a clan and you have to pay respects." Tsume said, looking down. They made their way to the top of the tower and noticed that the other Kage's were there as well. Naruto stood in the back with the other Uzumaki's. One by one each Kage went up and placed a flower next to a picture of Hiruzen. Kyu looked over at Naruto and elbowed him in his ribs. "Naru-kun are you going to say something?" she asked in a whisper. Naruto just shook his head no and continued to sit in silence. The funeral only lasted twenty minutes and everyone went home or back to their hotel rooms.

~Uzumaki Compound~

"Well that was gloomy; well what are we going to do today?" Shion asked coming back down the stairs after changing. "Well I'm going to say bye to Mei, Haku, Gaara, and Temari. They are leaving today and I really want to see them before they do. Then I'm going to help Naya-chan and Kuroki-chan move their shop to the compound's." Naruto said which made Shion sigh. "Well if you go and ask I'll bet that Ino will want to do some more shopping." He said and that perked both girls up and the others. "I'll go and ask her!" Kaga yelled out as she ran out of the house with Tamaki following her. Naruto walked out of the compound and started to make his way towards the gate and saw that Mei and Rasa were standing and talking while the other Kage's already walking down the road. "Mei-chan!...Haku-chan!, Gaara-chan!, Temari-chan!" Naruto yelled out as he ran towards them, getting their attention. Naruto stopped and quickly caught his breath, "I hope that I didn't make you guys wait to long." He said scratching the back of his head.

Mei chuckled and kissed the blonde's cheek getting him to let out a small purr. "Not at all my handsome fox." She replied. "Well we do really have to be going now." Rasa said and Naruto quickly hugged both Gaara and Temari and as he went to lick their cheeks Rasa coughed and glared down at him making him not to. But that didn't stop Gaara and Temari as they kissed each of his cheeks making him purr and them to chuckle. "Alright Naru-kun I guess that we will see you when we do." Temari said as she and her family walked out of the village. Now Haku walked over to Naruto and wrapped his arms around his neck and kissed him. "I'll see you soon Naru-kun." Naruto smiled and licked the ice user's cheek. "I'll see you later Haku-chan and I will see you too Mei-chan and say hi to Mai for me." he said, waving goodbye as he watched them walk down the road.

'Alright now time to help Naya-chan and Kuroki-chan move their shop.' He thought and Hiraishin in front of the weapon shop. Naruto knocked on the door seeing that it was locked and the close sign was on. Naya quickly came to the door and unlocked it for Naruto and relocked it once he walked in. "Thank you so much for helping us Naru-kun." Naya said as she kissed his cheek. Naruto chuckled and made a hundred shadow clones. Soon all of the clones started to seal everything into scrolls and tossed them to Naya and Kuroki. "There… now all we need to do is unseal everything in the new shop." Naruto said as all of his clones disappeared. Then there was a knock on the door and Kuroki went and opened it. "Hey Naya-chan, Kuroki-chan. Ino Ba-chan and the others are taking us to the hot springs do you want to come?" Kaga asked.

Both Kuroki and Naya looked down in disappointment. "Go, I can handle unpacking everything by myself. Go and have some fun." Naruto said as he took the scrolls from the two girls. Both Kuroki and Naya's eyes lit up with stars and jumped on Naruto, hugging him. "Thank you so much!" they both yelled out and quickly ran out of the empty store, grabbing Kaga on the way out. Naruto chuckled and picked up a piece of cardboard and wrote on it. 'Moved to the Uzumaki clan.' And stuck it in the window. Naruto quickly locked up and Hiraishined to the weapon store in the compound. Once he walked in he made another hundred clones and they started to unpack and sort everything. After twenty minutes the store was stocked and organized. Naruto even set up the sealing room near the cash register. 'There, now I think that I'm gonna go to the hot springs as well.' He thought and made his way there.

~Hotsprings~

"This is the best!" Anko yelled out as she stretched in the hot water. "Yea I'm going to miss this. Tomorrow my team is going to start taking missions again." Ino said and both Hinata and Hanabi nodded. "Yea I think everyone is going back to taking missions again." Satsuki commented. Kurenai, Kakashi, Hana, and Yugao walked in making both Kaga and Shion smile big. "Ba-chan! You guys made it." Kaga yelled out and ran up and hugged them making the four women uncomfortable. "Well you know we wouldn't miss relaxing with you two." Kakashi replied with a smile. Naruto stood outside of the Hot Springs and walked in and the man narrowed his eyes at the blonde. "What do you want demon?" he asked with venom. Naruto growled and pulled out his sword and pressed it against the man's throat. "How about this, you'll let me in without charging me and I'll let you live. Seeing on how you just broke the Third's law, which is punishable by death." Naruto replied and the man gulped and nodded, pointing to the men's side.

Naruto quickly got undressed and made his way towards the showers and there were a few men in there already. They grumbled and got redressed and walked out making Naruto smirk. 'I guess being the village's Demon has some perks.' He thought and quickly washed up before making his way inside. Once inside Naruto saw that it was completely empty. Naruto sighed and relaxed as he leaned back against the rock wall. Naruto smiled as he listened to the girls on the other side laugh, 'I'm glad that they're enjoying themselves.' He thought and then he heard someone walk in. The man had long black hair and a slim body. "Oh no… I thought that it would be empty." The man said as he got into the water and sat next to Naruto. Naruto grinned as he sniffed the guy next to him. Then out of the blue the man jumped up onto Naruto's lap and kissed him. Naruto sighed and pushed his face back with a finger. "Enough of the charade Zumi-chan." Naruto said.

The man then went up in a puff of smoke and now Izumi was there. "How about this, is this better?" she asked as she kissed him again. Naruto wrapped his arms around the Uchiha and purred. "Yes this is better why would you think that it wouldn't be?" he asked. That's when Izumi told him about yesterday, "Well after the girls went shopping and then to the Hot Spring was when Haku came out and told everyone that he was a boy. To be honest I never seen girls blush that hard before." Izumi told him. Naruto smiled and tighten his hold on Izumi, "Well Haku-chan is special and will be the only guy that I'll care for." He said and Izumi blushed as she thought about what Haku told everyone about their sex.

Fifteen minutes later Izumi pouted and stood up. "Sorry Naru-kun but I have to get back to work, I only had a little time off and saw you walking in here while I was on my way to clock out." Izumi said. "Alright but remember the Kyu-chan and the Kits wants everyone to come over to christen the new house location." Naruto said as Izumi transform back into a male and left. After Izumi left Naruto was again left alone and then he heard someone giggle. Then he heard it again, he growled and hopped out of the water wrapping a towel around his waist. Naruto jumped over the wall where he heard the giggling coming from and noticed a Genjutsu. "I know that you're there come out now!" Naruto yelled and placed his hands together to dispel the Genjutsu. The man started to sweat and then he saw the seal on Naruto's stomach and hatched a plan.

Before Naruto could release the Genjutsu a hand came out with flaming fingers and struck him in the gut. "FIVE ELEMENTS SEAL!" Naruto barely heard as he started to fall to the ground, the wind knocked out of him. Then the man yelled out another thing, "Ahh… A pervert!" he yelled as loud as he could and picked Naruto up and threw him back over the wall into the women's side. Everyone was on high alert as Naruto landed in the water making a large splash. Anko and the other Jonin went and picked up the peeking tom only to see that it was Naruto. "What the hell daddy? Spying on us while we're naked?" Kaga asked as she and the others quickly covered up. Naruto finally came to and noticed that he was indeed on the women side of the hot spring. "What?... No! I was just trying to stop someone and they sucker punched me and threw me in here." Naruto said as he stood up while his towel dropped making the girls screamed.

Then he did something that he would soon regret he turned around and looked at the girls. All of the girls screamed again while he tried to cover up. "Pervert!" they yelled and that's when Hana and the other Jonin started to beat him. Naruto barely got away and made his way to the men's side and quickly got dressed and exited as fast as he could. 'I have to convince the girls that it wasn't me that was peeking on them.' He thought, rubbing his gut as he limped down the road. "They really didn't have to beat me." he mumbled to himself as he made it to the gate to the house and saw Tsume, Hina, and Yoshino inside. 'Shit that's right Shion and Kaga invited everyone over for dinner tonight.' He thought as he turned away from the gate only to be face to face with both Naya and Kuroki. "I can't believe that you would do something so perverted!" Kuroki yelled out. Kuroki then started to cry while Naya gritted her teeth. "I think that we should take a break." Kuroki said as she stormed away then stopped and turned to face Naya. "Well Kuroki-chan might have given you a pass but I won't, I want a separation." Naya said and then grabbed Naruto's arm and ran her finger down her summoning tattoo. Naruto hissed out in pain as a black rectangle appeared.

"Naya-chan…" Kuroki gasped as she watched her close friend cancel her summoning contract. "Come on Kuroki-chan, we have a dinner to go to." Naya said and grabbed Kuroki's hand and walked into the house. Then Kaga and Shion walked up to the house and sighed as they saw Naruto standing there rubbing his arm. "Kaga-chan, Shion-chan you two have to know that I would never peek on you girls or your Ba-chan's." Naruto said but both girls weren't having it. "I don't care! All of the evidence shows that you were!" Shion yelled out as her and Kaga's eyes started to water. They started to walk into the house but Naruto grabbed Kaga's arm to stop her. "Wait Kaga-chan, I have more to-." Kaga quickly spun around and slapped him. Making Naruto stop talking as his head was turned to the side. "Daddy I'm sor-." She started to say but Naruto flared his KI. "Go on you two you know how your Ka-san gets when you're late for dinner. And don't worry about being embarrassed I won't be joining you." Naruto said and walked away.

Naruto made his way to the Ichiraku stand and watched Ayame place a sticker on the window. Naruto was heartbroken as the sticker showed a fox with a circle and line through it. 'Great another place that I'm not allowed.' He thought as it started to rain. Naruto sighed and made his way to the red light district and walked into a bar and placed down some money and the bar tender placed a full bottle of whiskey and a glass. Naruto grabbed the bottle and the cup and made his way towards the back of the bar and sat in the corner and started to drink. Naruto grunted as he started to rub his arm and stomach that's when the alcohol started to take effect. 'I guess that Kyu-chan found out and decided to block my healing ability and cut off our communication link.' He thought as he took a sip out of his glass. That's when three men threw an empty beer bottle at Naruto. "Hey! Demon we don't want you here so leave now or else!" one man yelled out. Naruto growled and slammed his glass down and looked at the men. "Or else what?" he asked.

~Hokage Tower~

The two advisers, Jiraiya and the Fire Daiymyo were in the Hokage's office. "Jiraiya we need you to become the next Hokage!" Koharu said as she and Homura sat down. "Well I did hear that the talks with Oto has began. Hopefully it'll be settled without any problems." Jiraiya replied. "Yes but the current strength of the Leaf Village has dropped drastically. So I decided that we take the top few men from each troop, and form an emergency executive committee to handle this. But before we find a strong and trust worthy leader we need you to be Hokage." The Daiymyo said. Jiraiya thought about it for a moment then came up with an idea. "How about this, I'll go and bring Tsunade back and she can be the new Hokage." He said and the two old advisors gave him a look. "And how do you plan on bringing her back? The last time she said she would never step back in this village." Koharu said. "That's easy but I'm going to need to take the Uzumaki kid with me. Once she sees him she will gladly come back, she is his god Ka-san. I'm not sure why Sensei told her that he died but that's my plan." He explained and they all agreed and Jiraiya left the office.

~Uzumaki House~

Ino, Kiba, and the Hyuga twins were fidgeting as they looked around the house waiting for Naruto to show and that's when Shion approached them. "You all can relax, Daddy isn't here and won't be joining us for dinner." She said and that's when Hana walked up and spoke. "Good, cause there's nothing worse than a perverted demon." And then both Kaga and Shion unleashed their KI and Kaga held her sword to Hana's throat. "I don't care if you call Daddy a pervert, but if you ever call him a demon again Nee-chan and I will have one less Ba-chan." Kaga threaten. Kyu, Tsume, Hina, and Yoshino came running into the living room to see what all the commotion was and saw both Kaga and Shion ready to kill Hana. "What the hell is going on?!" Kyu asked and Sakura answered. "Well Naruto was caught peeking on us in the hot springs and Hana-san here call him a perverted demon and that's when Shion and Kaga threaten her." The pinkette explained.

Kyu growled at Hana then looked at everyone, "Everyone sit down and tell us what exactly happened." Kyu said and everyone sat, not wanting to anger the Uzumaki anymore. Each of them went and told the story, adding a little to what the pervious person said. "So that's why the pup isn't here." Tsume said as she looked at Kyu and the others. "Well not exactly Baa-chan." Shion said which Kaga elbowed her. "Spill it." Kyu said looking at the two. "Well before we came in daddy was at the gate trying to apologized and grabbed Nee-chan's arm and she…" Shion paused looking at Kaga who looked down. "When she said that she hated him and slapped him." Shion finished saying.

Kyu sighed, 'Well that explains why our link been cut.' She thought and before she could stand up Kuroki spoke. "That's not all. We also ran into him at the gate and just like Kaga and Shion he tried to apologize to Naya-chan and I but I said that we should take a break from each other." Kuroki said shocking Kyu and the others. "And I canceled our summoning contract and asked for a separation. I'm just waiting for him to finalize it." Naya added. Kyu instantly rose to her feet and growled at Naya and Kuroki, "You two did what?!" she yelled out as she flared her KI scaring the others. "Tsume, Yoshino, and Hina you three go and find him and bring him back. We need to figure out what really happened." Kyu ordered and the three women quickly ran out the door. "I know that you all feel embarrassed right now but if it's true then I have to revoke his clan status and other things." She said looking at Naya and Kuroki. "But in the mean time let's eat. Tenten-san it's a pleasure to have you in our home." Kyu said with a smile.

~Naruto~

Naruto was now outside in the rain as the three men cracked their knuckles. "Well come on demon." One yelled and that was all that Naruto needed and he quickly ran up and slit the guy's throat. Making him drop to his knees as he clutched his throat, trying to stop the bleeding. Naruto didn't stop there he quickly attacked the next guy, breaking his nose and kicked the back of his knee, catching the guy in a head lock. Naruto then twisted quickly and heard a loud snap and the man went limp in his arms. Naruto dropped him and picked up his Kunai off the ground and went to kill the last guy who was trembling in fear. "What's wrong? You were all talk just a few minutes ago?" Naruto taunted and went and lunged forward to kill the last man only to be frozen in his tracks. Naruto growled, "What are you doing here Yoshi-chan?" he asked as Yoshino made him take a few steps back. Tsume and Hina came running up and saw the two dead guys. "Why did you kill them?" Hina asked. But before he could answer an Anbu jumped down from a roof.

"Naruto Uzumaki you are to report to the front gate immediately. The council has a special mission for you." The masked man said throwing a scroll at Naruto. Naruto growled as the scroll hit him in the head as Yoshino still had him in her Jutsu. "Ka-chan can you release me?" he asked and Yoshino blushed and canceled her Jutsu. "Sorry about that Naru-kun." She replied. Naruto bent down and read the scroll and sealed it away and walked back into the bar with the three women close behind. Naruto walked up to the bar and held up three fingers and the bar keeper gave him three more glasses. As Naruto walked back to where he was sitting he poured each of them a drink and sealed the bottle away. "Naru-chan we're here to bring you home." Hina said as he handed her, her drink. "Sorry but I can't you see I have a mission that I have to go on." He said as he took a sip. Hina was going to say something but Tsume just shook her head and drank her drink. "Well we'll be waiting for you when you get back then." Tsume said as she finished her drink. Naruto nodded and licked each of their cheeks before Hiraishin to the front gate.

"What are we going to do about the guys that he killed?" Hina asked and that was when the bar keeper spoke. "Well they did break the Third's law and attacked him so the blonde kid had every right to kill them." He spoke and took their empty glasses. "How do you know that's what happened?" Yoshino asked. "Because I watched it all go down. Don't worry about it though no one here is going to report him." He said as he tilted his head up. Tsume looked and noticed that majority of the people in the bar were prostitutes. "The girl's here absolutely adore him, and most of them remember when he was just a small little boy." He said shocking the three women. "Yup they basically took him under the wings and several months ago he took out their boss and gave them more money plus health insurance." He chuckled as he thought of the prostitution as a normal nine to five job. Tsume and the others thanked the man before leaving to head back to the Uzumaki compound. "I would have never guessed that's where Naru-chan ran off to when he was younger." Hina said as they jumped from roof to roof.

There was a bright yellowish red flash and Naruto appeared shocking Jiraiya. 'The kid already knows the Hiraishin? I wonder if he knows the Rasengan as well?' the toad Sannin thought. Naruto looked around and saw the white haired man. "You must be Jiraiya." He said and walked closer to him. Then Naruto asked something that made Jiraiya start to sweat. "You smell familiar, have we meet before?" he asked. "Nope this is the first so if you don't mind I like to start looking for Tsunade as soon as possible." Jiraiya said as he walked out of the village with Naruto in tow. As they walked Naruto read a scroll which peaked Jiraiya's attention. "Whatcha reading? Anything good?" he asked as he wiggled his eyebrows. Naruto sighed and shook his head. "I'm guessing that you already know who I am and who my Tou-san was." Naruto said and Jiraiya just nodded. "Well this is one of his Jutsu's and I'm trying to learn it." Naruto lied as he already knew the Rasengan; he was learning how to add element chakra to it.

"Oh? I know the Rasengan. Your Tou-san taught it to me, I can teach it to you as we go and look for Tsunade." The Sannin said. 'Just as I thought, he knew who my parents are and I'm betting that he also knows that he and Tsunade are my God parents. I should take his offer; it's better than beating myself up for hitting a road block on the element part. Who knows it might even be fun, plus it'll pass the time.' Naruto thought. "Alright let's see it then." The blonde said, stopping and waiting for Jiraiya. Soon the two men were coming to a town and stopped. "I should be able to gather some intel on Tsunade here." Jiraiya said as Naruto looked around at all of the lights and children running around. "This festival should continue for some time." He said making Naruto grin and pull out his frog wallet. "Whoa! That's a fat wallet! You're rich!" Jiraiya said making Naruto smile. "Maybe… It's only a little bit." Naruto replied.

Naruto went and started to walk away when Jiraiya stopped him. "Wait! Naruto!" he yelled out, eyes wide. "Huh?" Naruto said as he turned around. "I'll hold on to your wallet for you!" Jiraiya said as he snatched the frog out of the blonde's hands. "Hey give it back now!" Naruto yelled out as Jiraiya handed him five hundred Ryo. "You can spend this much on anything you want, the rest I need for the mission." Jiraiya said with a grin. Naruto growled, "I'm not letting you steal my money you old bastard!" he growled out, leaking some KI. 'Shit I have to defuse this quickly! I can't have the Kyubi running amok.' He thought before giving Naruto an excuse. "Don't worry you'll get repaid when we find Tsunade, just make sure that you keep all of the receipts. Here hold onto my bag while I scout out a place to stay and gather intel." Naruto growled and started to walk away, stopping to face the Toad Sannin. "If you misplace just one receipt I'll sell everything that's in this bag. And by the looks of it, it looks as if the toad summoning scroll is in here." Naruto threaten before running away.

'Shit, how did he know that it was the toad's summoning scroll? Oh well I just have to give him every receipt that I get, too bad that he'll won't get paid back.' He thought as he started to walk in the opposite direction. As Naruto walked through the crowd his belly growled making him rub it. "Okay! First, I'll get a little something to eat." He said to himself as he ran up to a food vender. "I'll take one order of Octopus dumplings, Sir!" he said as he ran to another stall. "Potatoes with butter please!" Naruto said then ran to the next stall. "I want a chocolate banana please!" As Naruto walked towards where he smelled Jiraiya at he saw a noodle vender and had to stop. "Hello, one extra large order of fried noodles, Sir!" Naruto said as he watched the man cook his food. Naruto now rubbed his bloated gut, "I think I ate a bit too much." He mumbled. Naruto continued his journey to where he smelled the toad sage and saw another food vender. 'Better get that mooch something to eat as well.' He thought as he walked up to the counter. "Two fried squids please!" he said and quickly paid and walked away, holding the squid on a stick.

Naruto finally reached where Jiraiya was, hearing him laugh. Naruto walked inside and saw the old man on a couch with two girls, one on each side. "Young ladies are so nice." He said as he took a sip of Sake. "Oh, Naruto! You've already had your fill of the festival?" he asked making Naruto growl. "I would have enjoyed it more if some asshole didn't steal all of my money!" Naruto yell out. Then Naruto saw his front wallet on the table in front of him, completely empty. "Repeat those three Shinobi Taboos again!" he yelled out in front of Jiraiya's face. "I-it's not what you think!" Jiraiya said trying to defend himself as Naruto leapt at him, scaring the two girls away. "I'm going to beat you! You used all of my hard earn saved money! And I bet you that you didn't even get a receipt!" Naruto yelled as he started to punch Jiraiya with the fried squid. As Naruto went to hit Jiraiya, one of the squids flung off its stick and hit a man in a business suit. "Hey! Look what you did, you urchin!" another man yelled.

"You stained Leader's designer suit! You'll have to pay for it!" the man shouted out again. "Fork over two thousand Ryo!" Naruto turned and his jaw dropped. "What?! You're telling me that suit cost two thousand Ryo?!" Naruto yelled out in disbelief. "Naruto, perfect timing. I'll show you the Jutsu now… Watch carefully." Jiraiya said as he held out his hand. Soon chakra started to spin in his palm and the man charged at him. Jiraiya shoved the Rasengan into the man's chest, shooting him backwards in a spiral. Jiraiya led Naruto to the top of a cliff that over looked the town and stopped to face Naruto. He then unsealed a bag of water balloons. "Watch closely… Spin the water around till the balloon pops." He said as the balloon popped. Naruto picked up a balloon and started to spin the water inside. "Well that's the first step keep trying. I'm going to head back to town, oh here! This is a key to our room." Jiraiya said as he tossed Naruto a key with a room number attached to it. "Don't stay up to long! We have a busy day tomorrow!" Jiraiya yelled out as he walked away. Naruto growled and looked up at the night sky. 'Kyu can you hear me?' he thought but only received silence. "I guess that she's still pissed at me." he mumbled out as he started to walk back to town towards the hotel.

~Konoha Next Day~

"Yo… you two. You seem to be getting along well." Kakashi said as she looked up from her book at Asuma and Kurenai. "Baka, Anko asked me to buy rice dumplings." Kurenai replied with a blush. "What are you doing here?" Asuma asked. "I'm here to buy some offerings, I've made plans with Sakura to meet here… to visit Sasuke." she said and glanced over her shoulder at a pair of people inside the shop. "Huh, it's rare that you wait for people." Asuma replied and glanced over to the mysterious people. One of the men sat his cup of tea down, when Sakura approached. "Kakashi-sensei, it's strange for you to be here first." The pinkette said. "Well… once in a while it's not." Kakashi replied as Sakura looked into the shop and saw that it was empty. "Well are we going to get something for Sasuke?" Sakura asked as Kakashi nodded. "Yes we are." Kakashi replied as both Kurenai and Asuma nodded and jumped away.

The two cloaked men were walking along side the town's river, stopping as both Asuma and Kurenai blocked them. "You guys aren't from the village… Why in the world did you come?" Asuma asked with his cigarette in his mouth. "I haven't seen you for a while Asuma, Kurenai." One of the men said under his straw hat, trying to hide his face. "If you know about us, are you former Leaf Shinobi?" Kurenai asked. That's when the man lifted his straw hat shocking both Kurenai and Asuma. "You are…" Asuma said as the man removed his hat. "Humph… without a doubt. Itachi Uchiha." Asuma said with a grin and bit down on his cigarette. "Are you two acquaintances of Itachi?" the other man asked as he reached for his hat as well. "If that's so, I'll introduce myself as well." He finished saying as he removed his hat.

"I'm Kisame Hoshigaki. Hereafter, I hope to be familiar with you." The now Kisame said getting Asuma to grin and narrow. "It really doesn't matter; I'm going to beat you now!" Asuma said, still grinning. "Itachi, it seems you're pretty unpopular in the village too." Kisame said to the Uchiha. "I know you too, Kisame Hoshigaki, originally a Shinobi of the Hidden Village in the Mist. Suspected of national covert activities and of killing a feudal lord. A Rogue Ninja from the Land of Water, on the wanted list in all nations." Kurenai said as she glared at the blue man that was in front of her. "You're a major S-rank criminal listed in the Bingo Book. Itachi, you have some nerve coming back to this village, after causing that terrible incident." Asuma said as he looked at Itachi. "Asuma, Kurenai. Don't interfere with me." Itachi threaten. Kisame then grabbed the hilt of his sword and slammed it down, "This guy is pretty annoying. Should we kill him?" Kisame asked.

"It doesn't look like we are able to leave the village so smoothly… But don't overdo it; your techniques tend to stand out." Itachi said as Kisame lifted his sword up and rested it on his shoulder. Itachi tossed his hat off to the side and as soon as it hit the ground Kisame charged and swung at Asuma. Asuma quickly pulled out his trench knives and blocked the incoming attack from Kisame. Kurenai jumped back and went through hand signs and soon she started to disappear with the wind. "This is Genjutsu." Itachi said as he watched the Genjutsu mistress vanish. Asuma struggled to hold back Kisame's blade with both hands while Kisame only used one of his arms. Kisame then quickly pulled the sword back cutting the bandages around the sword and made a deep gash in Asuma's arm. "Kurenai you're late." Asuma said as the ground started to cover Kisame's legs and harden and tree roots started to wrap around Itachi as a tree came up behind him.

Itachi seemed unfazed by Kurenai's Genjutsu as the tree continued to grow and wrap around him. He then looked as Kurenai came out of the tree with a Kunai ready to kill him. Right before she could strike she was captured in her own Genjutsu, shocking her. "Genjutsu of that level doesn't work on me." Itachi said as he stood in front of Kurenai. 'This is… Genjutsu Reversal?' she thought and Itachi pulled out a Kunai. Kurenai saw and quickly biting her lip making it bleed, canceling the Genjutsu. She barely ducked under the Kunai as it cut strains of her hair. Itachi quickly spun and kicked Kurenai, sending her into the nearby river. "That's what's expected from you, Kurenai." Itachi said from behind her. "But this is as far as it goes… for you." Kakashi said as she and Izumi appeared behind Itachi. "Izumi-chan it's been a while hasn't it?" Itachi said, turning around to face the other Uchiha. Izumi gritted her teeth and sneered at Itachi. "Why did you come back?" she asked as she activated her Sharingan. "I came for the Fox but if you like you can come with me." Itachi replied.

"We're over Itachi and I'm back with Naruto so I will not be leaving with you." Izumi said as she and Kakashi got into defensive stances. "I see… Kisame we're leaving!" Itachi yelled over at his partner. "Not so fast!" Izumi said as she held a Kunai to Itachi's throat as the Izumi in front of him popped. "Shadow clone!" Kurenai gasped. Kisame started to go through hand signs and the water shot up and towards Asuma. "WATER STYLE: WATER SHARK BOMB JUTSU!" Kisame and Kakashi yelled out as two water jets collided with each other. "What? The same Jutsu as me?!" Kisame asked himself as he stared at Kakashi's clone. "Now what business does a Rogue Ninja like you have in this village?" the silverette asked making Izumi sweat dropped. "I literally just asked him that." Izumi replied. "Oh right, they came for the Kyubi." Kakashi said. Itachi turned and looked at Kakashi. 'Those eyes are exactly the same as they used to be in the past. That being said, he is a true inheritor of the Sharingan. I have to assume the worst-case scenario, just in case.' Kakashi thought as she stared into Itachi's eyes.

"This is a surprise… No wonder you copied my Jutsu… I really am curious to face more people like Itachi. Your name is Kakashi the Copy Ninja, wasn't it?" Kisame asked as he looked at Kakashi's clone. "Don't lose sight of the goal… You didn't come here to get injured!" Itachi yelled out to his companion. Kakashi popped her clone and looked at Itachi, and then his arm shot out of his cloak holding Shurikens and making both Izumi and Kakashi jump back. Izumi started to perform hand signs, "NINJA ART: WATER STYLE. WATER WALL!" she yelled as multiple circles started to spin and shot up and incased both her and Kakashi in water. "That's some Jutsu speed. My eyes couldn't follow the Sign. That Shuriken in his right hand was a decoy… to use a Water Style Jutsu to launch an attack below my foot…" Izumi whispered out. "That's what to expect from you, Izumi-chan. Your power of analytical eye… is great! You really have improved since the last time I saw you." Itachi commented her.

Then a Kunai was stabbed in each of their backs as two clones of Itachi held onto the Kunai. "A Shadow Clone?! His Jutsu speed is too fast!" Kurenai said as she looked at the two Leaf Jonin. Then both Izumi and Kakashi turned to a puddle of water. "A Water Clone?!" Kisame surprisingly said. 'The Copy Ninja and the Uchiha has done well this far with Jutsu from my village.' Kisame thought as he watched Itachi. Kurenai looked down into the water and saw Kakashi's arm coming up with a Kunai. She quickly grabbed it but before she could attack Itachi both Izumi and Kakashi jumped out of the water, grabbing her in the process. "Get down Kurenai!" Izumi shouted as the clone exploded causing a large explosion. "Izumi, Kakashi, Kurenai!" Asuma yelled out as he jumped over the railing to the water. 'He made the Shadow Clone body explode?!' he thought as he was still in mid air. The three Jonin stood on top of the water as it started to rain down on them. Itachi walked up behind them as the water stopped raining down, "Don't underestimate him, he's the guy who became a division chief of Anbu Black Ops at thirteen years old…" Izumi said as she and Kakashi looked over their shoulders at Itachi.

"To think that he's this powerful…" Asuma said looking at the Uchiha. "No, you haven't seen this guy's strength yet." Kakashi added as she turned to face Itachi. "I didn't expect that you who are not a member of the Uchiha clan would have mastered the Sharingan to that extent… But your body isn't the 'Uchiha clan' body that goes with the eye." Itachi said, voice void of any emotions. "Speaking of the Uchiha clan they will be here soon." Izumi said. "Right, there's a reason why the Uchiha Clan was deemed the strongest and feared… I'll demonstrate the true strength of the Sharingan, the Kekkei Genkai!" he yelled as he slowly opened his eyes. "Both of you! Don't look at his eyes!" both Kakashi and Izumi said making both Asuma and Kurenai shut their eyes while Kakashi closed her one eye.

"Both of you absolutely do not open your eyes… It's all over now if your eyes meet. Only people with Sharingan can have a go with that technique." Izumi warned them. "Indeed with Sharingan, you can resist this Mangekyo Sharingan to a certain extent. However… this special Visual Jutsu of Sharingan, Genjutsu: Tsukuyomi, Nightmare Realm, is unbreakable." Itachi said as his eye trapped Kakashi and Izumi. Both Izumi and Kakashi were now hanging on a cross as Itachi stood in front of her with a sword in his hand. "I wonder how much you can take without the Kekkei Genkai?" Itachi asked as he stabbed both of them in their stomachs. They both grunted out in pain as Itachi pulled out his sword and when they reopened their eyes their wounds were healed. "The one just now was… Genjutsu?" Kakashi asked as she looked down at where the sword impaled her. "No it's the power of the Tsukuyomi." Izumi answered in a pant. "That's right Izumi-chan, in the world of the Tsukuyomi… Both space and time… and mass, I control them all. For the next Seventy-Two hours… I'll stab you both continually with swords." Itachi said as he stabbed them both multiple more times.

Then both Izumi and Kakashi dropped to their knees. Kisame jumped next to Itachi, "Whoa… To take that Jutsu without causing their spirit to collapse. But Itachi… it's also dangerous for you to overuse those eyes." Kisame said as he looked over at Itachi. Kisame was about to attack Kakashi and Izumi until Guy came and kicked the blue fish man away. "Who are you?" Kisame asked. "The Leaf's noble, blue fierce animal… Might Guy!" Guy said as he flashed Kisame a smile. Kakashi collapsed and started to sink; Guy turned around and picked her up out of the water. "Guy don't look him in his eyes! You'll be caught up in his Jutsu!" Izumi yelled and Guy smirked. "I know that already! In order to fight Kakashi, I devised ways to battle the Sharingan. Open your eyes, both of you!" Guy yelled out as both Kurenai and Asuma still hesitant. "When you battle with the Sharingan, it's not a problem if you don't look at those eyes! You work around it by gaining insight into his movements by looking constantly at his feet." Guy said as Kurenai opened her eyes. "Now that you mention it, you're probably right, but…" Kurenai said pausing. "You're the only one who can do that." Asuma added as he finished Kurenai's sentence.

"Kurenai go take Kakashi and Izumi to the medical team. Asuma, you are my back-up!" Guy said getting Asuma to nod. Until the reinforcements of Anbu Black Ops I arranged to arrive, I will hang here and fight with you guys." Kisame growled and grabbed his sword. "Interesting… You got some nerve!" Kisame said lifting up his sword. "Kisame… Pull the plug. We didn't come to have a war. It's too bad, but no more of this nonsense. We're leaving." Itachi said making Kisame pout. "Too bad… I was finally feeling motivated. It can't be help I guess." Kisame said as he and Itachi both Shunshined away.

~Naruto~

Naruto awoke and sat up in bed and looked over at Jiraiya's empty bed and the note that was on top. Naruto quickly picked up the note and crumpled it. "That no good pervert! He's off looking for girls instead of Tsunade. I guess that I'll wait for him and when he gets back we can move on to the next town." Naruto mumbled as he walked back to his bed and unseal a scroll and sat down, began reading. Then there was a knock on the door getting the blondes attention. "Don't tell me that you got rejected that fast." Naruto said as he sealed away his scroll and walked towards the door and opened it. Naruto was now face to face with Itachi looking him in his eyes. "Really… who'd believe that this guy have the Nine-Tailed Fox in him." Kisame said as he walked and stood next to Itachi. 'What does this guy know about Kyu?' Naruto thought as he looked at the blue man. "Naruto you will come with us." Itachi said making Naruto sweat. Naruto didn't say anything as he continued to stare at Itachi. "Shall we go outside…?" Itachi asked. Naruto slowly walked into the hallway, "Itachi, it'll be a pain in the neck if this guy moves around and… Maybe I better chop off a leg just in case." Kisame said grabbing the hilt of his sword and started to walk towards Naruto.

With each step Kisame took Naruto's heart pounded louder in his chest, then Itachi spoke. "Long time no see… Izumi-chan." Izumi stood at the end of the hallway behind Itachi and Kisame. She was sweating and she looked exhausted. Izumi glared at the pair of Akatsuki, "Huh?... I thought that you taken care of her back in the Leaf Village." Kisame said as he looked over his shoulder. "More over it seems she has a deep hatred for you." Kisame added. "She's my Ex-girlfriend." Itachi replied as he continued to look at Naruto. "To be honest I was hoping for Sasuke to show." Itachi added and Naruto looked over his shoulder to Izumi. "I guess that you didn't tell him." Naruto said looking at Izumi. "It didn't come up." Izumi replied. "What happened to Sasuke?" Itachi asked Naruto who gave him a serious look. "I killed him in the exams. I if I didn't he would have been put on trial for stealing clan secrets and then killed." Naruto explained shocking both Uchiha's.

'He was going to kill him anyways?' Izumi thought but instantly stopped and looked at Itachi. "Sorry Itachi but I held a grudge against you and hated you, for what you did to our clan!" Izumi yelled as lighting started to form in her hand. 'Thank you Kakashi.' She thought as she powered up her technique. "Zumi-chan…Don't! Not here!" Naruto yelled out trying to stop Izumi. Itachi stared at Izumi, "Chidori…?" he mumbled as Izumi held out her arm and started to run at him. "This is where you die!" she yelled out as she continued to run at Itachi. Once Izumi was close Itachi knocked her hand into the wall, causing a loud explosion which left a giant hole in the wall. Soon as the dust settled Itachi had hold of Izumi's wrist as the Chidori slowly died. 'Shit I can't go all out here! There are too many people that will be killed.' Naruto thought as he tried to think of a way to save Izumi and himself.

Naruto quickly placed his hands together and tried to summon Kyu's chakra as it slowly leaked out of him. 'Dam it Kyu! Now is not the time to do this to me! You're going to get us killed.' Naruto yelled out inside of his head but the link between them was still broken. Both Kisame and Itachi looked behind them at the blonde when Itachi spoke. "Chakra permeates the air…" he said as Kisame nodded. "I see so this is the Nine-Tailed Fox chakra!" he said as he swung his sword over Naruto's head canceling out the chakra. "You bastard!" Izumi yelled as she went to punch Itachi only for him to snap her wrist. Izumi screamed out in pain, falling to the ground. "Itachi he's a pain in the ass if he moves around and uses Jutsu like that… Before I chop off his legs should I chop off those arms?" he asked as he lifted his sword up to strike down Naruto. As Kisame brought down his sword Naruto quickly unsealed his ready to block when a cloud of smoke appeared and sound of metal hitting metal was heard.

When the smoke cleared there was a toad in battle armor blocking Kisame's attack. Then another cloud of smoke appeared behind Naruto and a voice that spoke within it. "You guys just don't know me much, do you? This man Jiraiya does not fall victim to any woman's allurement, but rather his forte is winning women's affection! I'm not made to blindly follow after a woman's feminine charm! When you get to my level women yelp with delight at my sex appeal!" the now known Jiraiya yelled out with an unconscious woman draped over his shoulder. Naruto's eye twitch at his speech, even Izumi was not amused. 'That pervert! Doesn't know anything about women, that's why you only go after girls. Hell Naru-kun knows and has more sex appeal than you!' she thought as she held her arm. "You were totally excited by a lame tactic like a woman winking at you! You shouldn't be the one to try acting all suave and cool, you old pervert!" Naruto yelled as he tightens his grip on his sword.

Kisame laughed, "You are, after all, Master Jiraiya, one of the legendary Sannin. I didn't believe that I'd be able to stop you so easily despite that you are a huge womanizer." Kisame said making Naruto growl. "Seems like you released the Genjutsu that we had put on that woman." Itachi said as he watched Jiraiya carefully set the woman down against a wall. "You shouldn't call yourself a man for using such a cowardly tactic like casting a Genjutsu on the woman with your hypnotic eyes to separate me and Naruto." Jiraiya replied, standing back up. "I know that you're after Naruto and I cannot allow that to happen. Plus this is perfect… I'll get rid of you two right here!" the Sannin added. Izumi got up and charged at Itachi only to be kicked and sent flying down the hall into the wall. She slowly got up as her left hand twitched as she tried to use it but was unsuccessful. Izumi then charged at Itachi again, "Zumi-chan!" Naruto yelled out as he went to try and help but was blocked by Kisame's sword.

"Now, now this is their fight. It would be impolite to interrupt it." He said pointing his sword at Naruto and Jiraiya. Itachi slowly walked towards Izumi and when he was close enough she leaped up only for Itachi to knee her in her gut. As she bent over to cough up blood Itachi elbowed her in her neck and then brought his knee to her face. Naruto growled out as he watched Itachi continuously beat Izumi, "He doesn't show mercy." Kisame said with a grin as Izumi fell to the ground. Itachi bent down and picked Izumi up by her collar and slammed her against the wall. "You are weak and are weak because you don't have enough hate." Itachi whispered as he leaned in and kissed Izumi. Then he opened his eyes and Izumi's went wide as she looked into the Mangekyo Sharingan. 'What is this place?' she thought as she was falling.

The scenery then changed to the Uchiha compound, the sky red. She stood there in the middle of the compound unable to move as she watched Itachi slaughter half of her clansmen. "You are weak. For the next twenty-four hours… relive that day." Itachi said as Izumi watch him slaughter other Uchiha's. Izumi screamed and screamed as Itachi held her against the wall. 'Hasn't changed at all… Using Tsukuyomi: Nightmare Realm on his Ex.' Jiraiya thought as he watched. Naruto however had enough, "Stop it already!" he yelled as he charged towards Itachi. Kisame quickly followed trying to stop the blonde as Jiraiya started to perform hand signs. Naruto quickly stopped short of reaching Itachi and so did Kisame as the hallway started to transform. "NINJA ART: TOAD MOUTH TRAP!" Jiraiya yelled out as both of his hands were on the ground. Izumi slowly got sucked into the wall making Itachi let go while Kisame's feet started to get incase as well. "How unfortunate, Itachi, Kisame. You guys are already inside my stomach! I summoned the esophagus of the giant toad of Mt. Myomoku rock cave. You guys are wanted criminals anyway. I'll turn you guys into fodder for the stone toad." Jiraiya explained making both Akatsuki members to look at him.

'That's actually the first impressive thing that I've seen him do!' Naruto thought as he started to move but Jiraiya stopped him. "Kisame come here." Itachi commanded and the blue man quickly ripped his feet and sword out of the ground and ran towards Itachi. "It's useless! There hasn't been one person who has been able to escape from this!" Jiraiya yelled as Itachi and Kisame ran away. Jiraiya pumped more chakra into the floor and then it started to chase the two. "A wall of flesh is charging at us!" Kisame yelled out as he quickly turn and cut down several flesh tentacles. Then there was a loud explosion making Jiraiya run around the corner to see a hole in the wall and both Kisame and Itachi gone. Naruto was busy trying to pull Izumi out of the wall as Jiraiya examined the hole. He then quickly stomped his foot down making the hallway to go back to normal and Izumi fell into Naruto's arms. Then a Kunai flew pass both Naruto and Jiraiya and then a green blur was seen. "DYNAMIC ENTRY!" Guy yelled out as he kicked Jiraiya in the face.

Jiraiya now sat with pieces of tissue in each of his nostrils to stop the bleeding. "I'm sorry to have kicked you so directly. I was in a rush and I forgot my mirror… I used my headband instead, but it was hard to see. And I assumed this rough-hewn face was the enemy… I just let the flames of the burning juvenescence take over me." Guy said as he scratched the back of his head. Naruto growled as he saw the green clad Ninja. "Don't worry too much this fool likes to sucker punch people or rather kick them." Naruto said as he tried to heal Izumi. "I was trying to protect my student!" Guy yelled out angrily. "Sure and kicking me into a wall, breaking my ribs and arm in the process so you could have your student kill his cousin." Naruto replied and stopped healing Izumi. "It doesn't matter now; we have to get Izumi to the medical team! Her wrist, arm and several ribs are broken. Not only that, she lost consciousness from some kind of mental blow she received from the Visual Jutsu." Naruto said as he picked up Izumi and handed her to Guy.

"Kakashi has also come down with the same Jutsu… We don't even know if she will regain consciousness." Guy said in a serious tone shocking Naruto. "Kakashi Nee-chan?!" he said concern. "I wish from the bottom of my heart that a person, who is a medical specialist, were here." Guy said and Jiraiya looked at him with a serious face. "That's why we're going to go find her now." The toad Sannin replied with a smirk shocking Guy. "You mean that you found her?" Guy asked with Izumi on his back as they all stood in the street. "Master Jiriaya be sure to find Mistress Tsunade and bring her back to-" Guy was cut off by Naruto. "Don't worry we'll find her and bring her right away!" Naruto yelled out before he waved and walked away with Jiraiya in tow as Guy quickly ran in the other direction, back to Konoha.

Naruto and Jiraiya continued to walk down the road to the next town when the Sannin looked over his shoulder at the blonde. "What?" he asked. Naruto was now in thought, "Well you really never told me what Tsunade looks like. How will I know that I found her?" Naruto asked, pulling out his scroll and started to read it. Jiraiya grinned and stopped to look at Naruto. "Well for starters she's the same age as me, blonde hair and her tits are the biggest that you'll ever see!" He said with a blush as he started to picture Tsunade's chest and her in provocative poses. Naruto just growled and looked back down at his scroll back to read which gained Jiraiya's interest. "What are you reading anyway? You've been nose deep in that scroll ever since we left." He asked, trying to get a peak. Naruto huffed and rolled the scroll up and sealed it away, knowing that the old man wasn't going to let him read in peace. "If you must know, it's an Uzumaki clan secret and I'm trying to decipher it." Naruto lied hoping that it'll make the Sannin leave him alone. "Well why didn't you say so! I knew an Uzumaki and we were close hell I might be able to help you out!" Jiraiya said with a smile.

'I wonder what Kushina-chan left him that needs to be deciphered?' he thought, hoping that the blonde would accept his offer. Naruto however saw it in a different light, "Are you asking to see clan secrets?" he asked as he narrowed his eyes at the white haired man and slightly flared his KI. Jiraiya gulped and shook his head and waved his hands in front of him. "No not at all I thought that I could help you that's all." He replied. "Well you can't because I don't know you or trust you even if you're one of the Sannin's." Naruto said as he walked in front of Jiraiya. Jiraiya just sighed and followed Naruto, looking up at the sky. 'Sorry Kushina, Minato. I know that I wasn't there for Naruto like you guys wanted but Sensei wanted everyone who knew of him think that he died with you. Hell I'm not sure how Tsunade-chan is going to take the news when we find her.' He thought and quickly wiping a tear from his eye. "So, well… what kind of person is this Tsunade like?" Naruto asked, trying to gain more info on his Ka-san. "Oh you want to know? Well let's see… Put it simply, she's an unpleasant type. Besides that, she's a diehard gambler and her face is known far and wide for it." Jiraiya replied as he rubbed his chin to think more.

"If that's the case then we should have no problems finding her!" Naruto said as he pumped his fist in the air. Soon the pair stood at the edge of a cliff and below was a large town with stairs leading down. Jiraya and Naruto quickly walked down the stairs and into the town and saw that another festival was going on. "What's with all the festivals?" Naruto asked grinning as he watched kids run by. "Not sure but you go and have some fun before we start to look for Tsunade. This festival should last awhile and we'll stay here for the duration and then if she's not here we'll head towards the next town." Jiraiya said making Naruto's eye twitch. "Why don't we just look for her then we can go! You only want to stay here because of the women." Naruto said as a group of women walked by and winked at him. Naruto blushed while Jiraiya was stunned. 'They didn't even notice me!' Jiraiya thought as he pouted. Then he quickly chased down the group only to look back at Naruto. "Just relax kid and enjoy yourself!" he yelled out before vanishing into the crowd of people. Naruto sighed and growled and looked for a place to stay.
