During the party, food was served, and music was played while people ate. He was sitting at the table close to Alexia's, who was sitting with the bride and groom. He watched her as she smiled signing the marriage certificate as the bride and groom had their first dance.

She handed the paper to someone who put it away in envelope.

She then turned and smiled watching the two dance.

Alexia swayed her head to the music as she watched the two love birds. The song soon ended, and others were allowed to get onto the dancefloor and dance if they wanted to as upbeat music came on.

A toddler came over to Alexia and lifted his little arms making grabby hands. She smiled and stood before picking him up and talking to him, he nodded, and she went to the dance floor and 'danced' with him.

Spinning him around, making the little one smile brightly and giggle adorably. She smiled and as she did again. Again, making him squeal and giggle. Joe couldn't help but smile at how she was glowing with her smile.

She had a beautiful smile. She had cute little dimples when she smiled.

He wanted to make her smile. He wanted to hear her laugh at his corny jokes. He wanted to feel those soft lips on his own lips. She had soft pouty looking lips. He wanted to bite them. Hear her gasp when he did so.

Soon, the little boy was done with being held, and so she put him down.

Joe went to get up and join her, but she walked away from the dance floor to go make some drinks when someone went over to ask if they could have a drink made. This made Joe frown, so he went to go make sure she would be able to dance with him when she was finished.

He saw she looked tired. He frowned more. She looked so tired but kept her smile on her face. She kept doing things that were asked of her. Going over to her, he waited for her to be finished with the orders before he spoke to her.

"How long have you been here?" He asked her, she turned her head as she cleaned the blender. She thought about it. "I have been here since before the first service. Sooooo... eight thirty I think." She told him.

Joe looked at the time. She had been here for twelve hours.

"And when did you wake up?" He asked her. "Six?" She said confused as to why he was asking her these things.

No wonder she looked so tired. She has been on her feet for hours. "You should go home and get some rest." He told her. "I'm going to be leaving soon." Alexia told Joe. He nodded. "Good. You deserve a good rest. You've earned it." He told her with a smile.

"You work at the new book store right? I can't remember the name. I've been meaning to go check it out but just haven't been able to." Alexia told him wiping the counter by now. Joe nodded. "Yeah. I own it." He then told her the name of the store.

"I love reading. Escape this world for another. It's great." She told him. He smiled at how happy she was talking about books. "Well. I'll be there tomorrow, why don't you come over? We can go over different books." He told her.

She perked up. "I would love that! I'll see if I can." She told him. He nodded.

Joe watched as Alexia and her friend leave the church to the car. He had been making sure no one would bother her to make her go back and forth, even left cash in the tip jar so it wouldn't be bad for her.

Only when the car was out of site, Joe left in his own. He hoped she showed up tomorrow. He wanted to know her more.
