Ch.1

The bell rang; it was time to go eat dinner.

"Man, that class is so boring, I almost fell asleep." Jaden said,

Chumley laughed. They continued to walk to the Silfer Dorm.

"Sy, are you ok? You've been quiet." Jaden said,

Syrus sighed.

"It's Zane." He said,

Chumley looked confused. "Zane?"

"Yeah, I mean, he's not treating me like a brother, he's treating me like I don't exist." Syrus answered.

Jaden sighed.

"Just go tell him that, right now." Jaden suggested.

"Tell who what?" Alexis asked,

She and Chazz were walking by when Jaden said that.

"Syrus telling Zane to act like a real brother to him." Chumley answered.

"Then go Sy, the sooner you tell him, the sooner you'll be happier." Alexis said,

"Yeah, just go tell him." Chazz said,

Syrus sighed. He walked to Zane.

"Zane, can I talk to ya for a second?" he asked,

Zane nodded.

"Ok, you haven't been acting like a real bro to me." Syrus said,

Zane looked confused. "What do ya mean?" he asked,

Syrus sighed. "Ok, you've been ignoring me, and you've been selfish, you are acting like a real Obelisk blue!" Syrus answered.

Then he walked away. Alexis went to her dorm while Jaden, Syrus, and Chumley went to the Silfer Dorm to eat.

One hour later

"Man I'm stuffed." Jaden said,

Syrus laughed.

"You're either too hungry or too full." He teased.

They left the lunchroom, and they went into their dorm. Then a few minutes later, they heard a knock. Jaden opened it.

"Sy, it's for you." He said,

Syrus walked to the door, it was Zane.

"What do ya want?" Syrus asked,

"I just wanted to say, I thought about what you said earlier, and from now on I'll be more like a brother to you." Zane said truthfully.

"Thanks." Syrus said happily,

"That was really good of you Zane." Alexis said.

"So, we're cool brothers?" Syrus asked.

"Yep, cool brothers." Zane replied.

Then, a few minutes later, they saw Dr. Crowler running and then he slipped on a banana peel and he slide all the way to the end of the hall and hit the wall. (There was a little bit of water on the floor.)

"Well, I got that on video." Jaden said,

They all laughed, and Zane really did keep his promise.
