I do not own Merlin

Arthur groaned as he got up off the floor, wait...floor? What was he doing on the floor he thought confused before he looked around him and was horrified to see all of his friends and his wife lying unconscious on the floor. He quickly went over to Gwen concerned before sighing relief when she stirred and opened her eyes in confusion, he helped her up before looking around him to see the others getting up at the same time.

"Arthur where are we?" Gwen asked confused and concerned, they had all been ready to go to battle so why were they brought here?

"I don't know," Arthur responded, his eyes searching for the familiar red neckerchief. He looked around concerned when he couldn't see him before immediately getting up, searching for him frantically and called out, "Merlin!"

"Right here sire," Merlin said groaning as he got up from the other side of the cinema, Arthur went towards him to check if he was alright. Merlin stepped away from him though and that's when he remembered their fight and he winced as he said, "Merlin I..."

"It doesn't matter Sire. We should first find out where we are and how to get out of here," Merlin interrupted before he could say anything, his eyes anywhere but on him.

"Merlin!" The familiar voice had Merlin looking up immediately as a smile made its way on his face, one Arthur realized he hadn't seen in quite a long time.

"Mother!" Merlin said before racing over to her as he hugged her, he pulled back cupping her face in his hands as he said, "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine Merlin. I'm just confused as to how we came here. I suddenly saw a flash of light and then I woke up here," Hunith said smiling in relief at seeing her son again, though she noticed a change in him from the last they had met, he wasn't the same innocent and carefree boy anymore. Oh Merlin, what have you been through to make you so sad she thought to herself concerned.

"Same thing happened to me. Wait...did you say we?" Merlin asked and they suddenly noticed a bright smile make its way on his face as a young girl poked her head out from behind Hunith's dress.

"Is that you Uncle Merls?" The girl asked shyly.

"Now who else would it be?" Merlin asked playfully as he immediately crouched down. The girl literally threw herself in his arms and he laughed, picking her up as he hugged the girl.

"Where have you been Uncle Merls?" She asked with a cute pout on her face as everyone else besides Gaius looked at him in shock, when did Merlin become an uncle? And who was the adorable kid? She looked around 7 or 8 years old.

"I've been in Camelot sweetheart," Merlin explained as he pulled away from the hug slightly to look down at her.

"With Prince Arty?" The girl asked causing everyone to guffaw in amusement, only Gwen, Gaius, and Sir Leon tried to control their amusement for the sake of their king, the rest of the knights were in hysterics though.

"Merlin would you mind explaining just who exactly she is?" Arthur asked with a stiff smile on his face at the name she had given him.

"She's my niece," Merlin said to them, and besides Gaius, they were all shocked.

"Niece? You have a sister?" Gwaine asked shocked and a little hurt that Merlin hadn't told him about something as big as this.

Merlin sighed as he said, "Had. I had a sister." At his words, they turned to him even more shocked than before. Arthur didn't know what to feel other than sadness for his friend to have lost a sibling but there was also so much hurt, that he hadn't told him about such a major part of his life. He didn't even know Merlin had a sister in the past 8 years they'd known each other, let alone the fact that she was dead.

"What happened Merlin?" Gwen gasped in concern and sympathy.

"Not something I like to talk about," Merlin said stiffly as he rubbed his mother's shoulder in comfort, she looked up at him with a smile before kissing his forehead.

"Well then, what's the little lass's name?" Gwaine changed the subject as he could see it was a sore subject for Merlin and his mother, who he had never seen before until today.

"Anna," Merlin answered with a smile as she looked up at Gwaine curiously.

"Hi." She waved to him shyly as Gwaine couldn't stop the smile that spread on his face at how cute she was.

"Aww! She's so adorable." Gwen gushed with a smile on her face.

"Thank you," Anna said adorably as she hid her face in Merlin's shirt. He laughed at her as he did so, she was always like that around strangers.

"Sire, why are we here?" Sir Leon asked dutifully.

"I have no idea Sir Leon," Arthur said as baffled as him as to how they had ended up here.

"I brought you all here for a reason." A voice suddenly came from above them and they all looked up alarmed as the knights' hands went to their swords.

"Who are you? Why are we here? Answer me or I will have your head." Arthur demanded angrily.

"How can you have the head of someone you cannot see Young Pendragon?" The voice said mockingly.

Gwen interjected before Arthur could say anything else, "Could you please tell us how and why you brought us here?"

"Magic of course," The voice said and the knights all pulled their swords out as Merlin looked up in alarm.

"Magic?" Arthur spat the word out in rage and disgust, Merlin nearly flinched at that as his mother laid a gentle hand on his arm.

"Before you say anything else Young Pendragon I shall warn you that none of you will be leaving anytime soon so getting on my bad side is not a good idea. And as for why you all are here, you shall know in due time. First though, I must invite just a few more people." The voice then said before all of a sudden a few more people were lying on the floor, leaving them all completely and utterly shocked.
