A/N: Some angst

They slept late the next day.

Elliot couldn't remember the last time either of them had slept that long, but it certainly hadn't been while they were together.

He woke up first. He usually did.

They were still naked from their late night escapades. She laid on her side a bit, facing him. It was getting harder to sleep as their boy grew bigger.

He watched her. The sun shining through their curtains. Her bronze skin contrasting their white sheets perfectly.

It made his cock stir.

"Stop staring" she whispered and he smiled.

"You look beautiful. You're glowing, Liv…"

She smiled small keeping her eyes closed. "Hmmm am I?" She said softly.

He nodded and inched over to play with her hair.

"Yes… more than I can put into words…"

He put his other hand in her cheek and she leaned into his touch.

"I love you Livia."

She opened her eyes finally and smiled small. "I love you more El."

He gave her a small smile.

"Im gonna marry the hell out of you, you know that."

She giggled and nodded and waved her empty ring finger. "Waiting."

He smiled and leaned over to kiss her softly.

"You wanna tell the kids the gender at dinner tomorrow night?"

She smiled and took a deep breath. "I think so yes."

He moved her support pillows out of the way and cuddled into into her kissing her softly.

She curled into his chest, placing peppered kisses across it.

"Anything fun you wanna do? Cupcakes or whatever?" He laughed softly.

She shook her head and yawned, "no baby… we can just give them the jersey."

He nodded and kissed her head again. They remained quiet, enjoying the silence and each other.

"Livie I'm sorry I couldn't give you a baby sooner." He said softly.

"Hey" said said looking up at him. "Elliot I never thought I'd have a baby ever. But to now be having one at 53?? With you of all people?" She smiled. "Elliot it's a dream."

He kissed her softly again.

"What time will the boys be home?" She asked softly.

"Dickie texted and said tonight. They're gonna go to the driving range after lunch."

She nodded and smiled. "Lunch sounds amazing actually."

He laughed. "Is that a hint." She nodded and smiled.

"Muffins?" He asked and she shook her head. "Pancakes and bacon."

He got up and got dressed before leaning in to kiss her.

"I'll be back."

When he arrived home, she was sound asleep again. He laughed, remembering fondly back to Kathy's pregnancies. "Never wake a sleeping bear." She'd told him.

He put breakfast in the counter and got undressed, climbing in behind her and spooning her.

His hand went protectively to her belly and he fell back to sleep.

When we woke again an hour later, she was watching reruns of her favorite comedy and sitting up, eating her food.

"Hi" he yawned curling into her side. He kissed her hip and laced his arm around on of her thighs.

He grazed her core as he did and let out a quiet moan. She laughed.

"Baby I love you but don't you dare try anything before I finish my food," she teased.

He smiled and kissed her hip again, nodding.

"We should take a babymoon," she said to him.

She felt him raise a brow against her leg.

"A what?" Came his muffled response.

She took a bite and explained. "You know like before the baby is born we just take a weekend just the two of us to relax and be alone before Ben comes."

He nodded and heard her set her plate down, beginning to trail kisses from her hip to her thigh.

"If you can figure out our schedules I'm all in."

He slowly moved between her legs and pulled her down gently, wrapping his arms under her thighs.

She moaned softly when she felt his nose glide up and down her slit.

"A-aren't you hungry…" she asked softly, pushing away the covers to see him.

He looked up at her and smirked. "I'm eating aren't I?" He asked before diving into her until she shook and screamed.

The next night, they sat around the table eating dinner with all of the kids and their significant others.

They were chatting, laughing, and having a great time together.

"Guys we should all do a ball game together. What do you think? I can see if I can get a bunch of tickets together for maybe last game of the season?" Dickie asked.

They all nodded. "That sounds great honey," Liv said smiling. "Let me and dad help please!"

"Hell no." He said smiling.

Elliot shook his head and laughed. "I'm gonna transfer money into your account"

They continued chatting and El cleared his throat when everyone was finishing up.

"Guys we have something for you," he said getting you and getting a little gift bag.

They all raised a brow and he set it in the middle of the table.

Liv smiled small, "I think Mo, as the oldest should open it."

The rest groaned and laughed and Mo took the bag, opening it slowly glancing at everyone.

She tried to hide her grin as she pulled out the little jersey with a 5 on it.

Dickie shot up with his hands in the air. "Is it a boy?!"

Liv and El nodded smiling. "Benjamin Don Stabler," El said proudly.

Everyone cheered grinning, and Noah and Eli jumped up to hug each other.

Lizzie was crying. "I'm just so happy!"

El laughed. "I thought you wanted a girl."

She wiped her eyes "I did but" she sniffled, "Ben's just gonna be so cute I already know."

Kathleen gasped. "Mama Liv we have to start planning his nursery!" She shot a look at the boys. "Boys clean up, come on girls."

They all retreated to the couch leaving the guys dumbfounded.

Noah raised a brow. "That just happened so fast how did we get stuck on dishes!"

Elliot laughed. "Welcome to women, son." He ruffled his hair.

The following two weeks leading up to the family game were non-stop.

The SVU squad had caught a huge case and the OC unit had caught wind of a drug ring in a school with links to organized crime.

They made time to be with the kids, swapping late nights as best as they could, and basically only seeing each other during their joint meetings when the cases began to overlap.

Liv's late nights were more and more due to her role as Captain.

It was 10pm and she sat in her office staring at crime scene photos.

"Benson" she said hurriedly when her phone rang, not bothering to look at her caller ID.

"Stabler" said her youngest boy's voice on the phone.

She laughed and sat back in her chair looking up at the clock.

"Hi sweet boy. It's late is everything ok?"

"Yeah I'm ok I just miss you." He said softly.

She sighed "I know honey I'm sorry… do you want to FaceTime?"

She got her answer when his FaceTime call came in.

She smiled seeing him curled up in his bed against Elliot's chest.

"Have you slept yet baby?" He shook his head.

"I tried but I couldn't fall asleep. Daddy thought it would help to talk to you…"

She smiled softly. "Well… did it?"

He nodded smiling small. "Yeah… just wanted to make sure you're ok…"

She laughed. "Honey I'm on desk duty with Uncle Fin outside my office if I need anything. Im as safe as I can be. And Ben is too."

He nodded and smiled, yawning. "I love you, mommy."

She blew a kiss through the phone. "I love you more honey. And I love you daddy."

She smiled when the phone lifted to Elliot's face. He's been growing out his beard and she couldn't help but bite her lip when he flashed her a smile.

"I love you mommy. Text me later. Try not to stay too late." He treaded carefully.

It'd been there ongoing argument for the last 2 weeks. And her argument with Fin. And Amanda. And the girls. And Dickie.

She let it go and blew him a kiss, too. "I will. Night boys."

She worked for a few more hours before Fin came in. "Cap… go home. You look exhausted."

She sighed looking up over her glasses. "I can't. We have too much to do…"

"Liv" he cut her off, "you're 53 and 20 weeks now? Go home. Rest. Sleep in tomorrow. I promise I will call if I hear anything."

"Stabler put you up to this?" She asked, immediately angry.

Fin sighed. "He texted me, worried about you, and me and the entire squad agreed."

She groaned and looked at the clock. It was 12:30.

"Fin… I appreciate you. But give me another hour and I promise I'll leave. Go get some rest until then." She nodded at him.

He sighed knowing he wasn't going to win and did as he was told.

She sat back and texted Elliot.

L: Seriously? Texting my squad?

E: Babe… it's Fin…

L: I don't care if it's Jesus Christ himself. He works for me. I'm in charge and I can't just leave.

E: I understand. But you're 20 weeks pregnant baby and this has been a long, long few weeks. We're just worried about you.

L: I can't take care of myself, Stabler. I did for 10 years while you were gone.

An unnecessary dig. He knew she was mad.

E: Honey I'm not trying to tell you what to do I'm just worried…

She was exhausted and frustrated and hormonal. She knew he meant well, but it'd been a hell of a 2 weeks and after having to take lead on everything for two squads, she had no patience to be ordered around by her partner.

L: Well stop worrying. I'm fine.

E: Livie it's not just you anymore… it's Ben too…

L: Really? Throwing that up in my face? Sorry you picked such a terrible replacement womb.

He about dropped his phone when he got that text.

E: What??!

L: You can read, I said I'm sorry you picked such a terrible replacement womb. Maybe when you're done with me you can go for someone younger. God knows you aren't tied to me because you won't even put a ring on it!

E: Olivia that's not fair.

L: Screw you. I'll be home when I'm done with my work.

She threw her phone down as tears formed in her eyes.
