A/N: Don't want this one to end but it's think we may be getting there. But also tbd, cause writing the older kids is fun.
"Okay you have everything?" Liv asked her older boys and they nodded. "Figured we'd just get them snacks at the slopes," Eli nodded.
"Mayyybe we take some for the car," Noah said, going to the cabinet. El laughed. "Good idea."
"Here," Liv said, handing her boy a stack of twenties.
"No," Eli said. His college was completely paid for with his soccer scholarship, so the money he made from his job went to his savings or spoiling his younger siblings.
His dad jokingly called him "big spender," as he was in the stage where he never let anyone else pay for anything.
"Eli please honey it's expensive," she tried and he shook his head, leaning in to kiss her cheek.
"Bye mom, love you!" He rushed out and she rolled her eyes, handing the money to Noah who also shook his head. He'd begun clerking with Carisi at the DA's office and loved every second of it.
"Just what we need- another lawyer in the family," El had teased.
A now married and pregnant Katie laughed and nodded towards both sets of twins. "With these four? Yes, we do."
"Hey!" They all yelled at the same time before losing themselves in laughter.
The twins came barreling out of their room, dressed and ready to spend the day with their big brothers.
El and Liv kissed and hugged them and Ben spoke up. "We know, be good, they're in charge," he said and Charlie nodded. "Don't make them buy us too many snacks, we got it we got it."
Liv playfully gasped as Noah and Eli burst out in laughter. "Stop growing up," she begged, pulling them for another hug as they giggled wildly.
The kids left and Liv and El curled up on the couch together.
"I don't wanna wrap gifts," he whined and she smirked. "If you help me I'll let you unwrap me later," she winked.
He jumped up, sending her flying back into the cushions, laughing. "Let's get to work!" He exclaimed.
The pair got to work, wrapping gifts for the big kids and grandkids, before moving to the twins.
"We went overboard," Liv laughed and El shook his head. "We usually do, mama."
She set what she was doing down and looked up at him. "I wanna get married," she said.
He smiled and gently pushed her on the carpet, causing her to giggle. "So let's do it."
"When?" She asked between his kisses.
"Today. Let's go to the courthouse."
"Without the kids???"
He shrugged and laughed. "Or… we could get married on Christmas with everyone around?"
"Or New Years," she gasped and he smiled. "Could time it perfectly so our first kiss as Mr. and Mrs. Stabler is at midnight."
"Mrs. Stabler??"
She rolled her eyes and swiftly rolled him to the bottom.
"Professionally it's Benson-Stabler," he said at the same time as her and she giggled harder.
"Maybe you won't have to be a professional for much longer," he pondered and she bit her lip in effort to dampen her smile instead of getting angry like usual.
"Olivia Benson… considering it???" He exclaimed, sitting up quickly and wrapping his arms around her waist.
She slid her hands down his abs to his waistband in an effort to distract him.
"Uh uh uh," he said looking up at her.
"I will let you stick it in my ass if you shut up," she mumbled, covering her face.
Bursting into laughter, he shook his head. "No you won't!"
"No I won't but please shut up," she laughed.
"Okay okay… leave your old lover hanging," he said, falling back dramatically.
"Don't call yourself my old lover," she said, bursting into laughter.
"Life partner?" He asked and she smiled.
"Partner for Life."
"Same difference."
"Will you make love to me," she whispered, leaning down to kiss him.
"Anytime you ever ask me for the rest of my entire life," he smiled and rolled them so he was back on top.
"I love you Elliot," she whispered as he gently pushed down her pants and then his own.
"I love you more… you're the love of my life, baby," he said, kissing her again and pushing into her without hesitation.
"You're my world," he muttered as he pumped slowly, "and that's why I bug you to retire so often," he said and she nodded, nipping at his lips as she met his thrusts.
"I know baby," she gasped, as a tear rolled from the corner of her eye.
Cupping her cheek, he wiped away the tear and sped up ever so slightly. "We missed 24 years together and I want to spend every day making up for it," he said and she nodded quickly, hungrily attacking his lips.
"I-I-I… oh fuck Elliot… there right there… just like that," she gasped.
"You what," he asked into her mouth as he thrusted more quickly.
"F-faster baby I'm…" she trailed off, panting quickly.
His arms snaked under her, holding onto her for better leverage and to cut down on the rug burn he knew was forming on her back.
"Elliot… elliot!" She gasped into his mouth as she came undone and he spilled into her.
Pulling out, he collapsed beside her, panting wildly.
"I'll consider it," she said after a few moments of catching their breath.
His head whipped to her's and his eyes were glassy. "Really?"
Biting her lip again, she nodded. "Mhm…"
Watching as he stood quickly, she smiled. "Stand up," he said with a smile and she groaned playfully, doing as he asked.
He came over and lifted her bridal style as she squealed before carrying her to their room. "El we have so much work to do!"
"We'll get it done," he smiled, plopping her on their bed.
Eli and Noah each carried in a twin around 3. Both were exhausted and so were their big brothers. Noah set Ben in his bed and plopped next to him, quickly falling asleep as Eli laid Charlie down.
El was out running some grocery errands and Liv was lounging on the couch before she had to start dinner.
Coming back into the living room, he curled beside his mom and laid his head on her shoulder. At 20, he was still the biggest momma's boy out of the three.
"Tell dad you're retiring yet?" He asked as she tossed a blanket over him and he closed his eyes.
"I think I'm gonna give him a copy of my papers at Christmas. What do you think?"
She felt her oldest smile. "Sounds super awesome."
"Thank you for taking them today baby... we're the good?"
"Angels. But Noah and I can also get them to do anything," he laughed.
"Oh we know. That's why sending you off to college was the worst," she teased and he smiled, yawning again.
"Get some sleep, son," she said, kissing his head.
Elliot arrived home to a silent house and a smile formed on his face when he saw Eli and Liv asleep on the couch.
"Hey," he whispered, sitting beside her.
She roused gently and laid her head on his shoulder, wrapping a hand around his forearm.
"Hi," she whispered back, looking up at him with a smile. "Should we start cooking?"
"I got it, I'll wake you in a bit."
"Hmmm okay," she hummed, not loosening her grip on his arm. "Stay with us for a few," she whispered and he smiled, sitting beside her and wrapping an arm around her shoulder.
"I hope he always stays a momma's boy," she said, gently brushing their sons short hair back.
"He will. Wait till he has kids like Dickie. I think he became a bigger momma's boy," El teased and Liv smiled and then shuddered. "Don't even... I can't think about Eli being old enough for kids," she laughed.
"He's getting pretty serious with that girl Lauren..."
"I know but we still haven't met her," Liv mused and El chuckled. "Maybe he'll bring her home over summer."
"Hopefully," she smiled, kissing his head and watching his deep breaths.
"He's looking more and more like you as he gets older," she commented and he nodded.
"And Ben just looks like me now," he laughed softly and Liv grinned.
"Poor kid," she teased.
There was a knock around 5:30, and Dickie, Lizzie, and their spouses and little ones came barreling in.
"Gaaaammmmaaaaaaaaa," Lily, the oldest grandchild, Dickie's 3 year old, cried when she saw Liv.
"Hi my baby girl!" Liv gasped, lifting her up and pressing a million kisses to her chubby cheek.
"Where my Char gamma??" She asked, grinning.
She was completely obsessed with her best friend and aunt, Charlie, and on cue, the slightly older girl emerged from her room with a huge grin.
"Beeeeeeeeen Nooooooooo Liiiiiiiiii," Liz's 2 year old son Max called, running through the house and collapsing in his uncle Eli's arms.
"Oh there's my dude!!! I missed you!" Eli said with a grin.
"I don yike school Li," he pouted and Eli laughed. "I know buddy, but I'm home for all of Christmas!!!"
Noah bust out of his room with Ben on his back. "Maximilian!" He called with a huge grin and Eli laughed. "No sir, you see him all the damn time!!"
"Language!" Charlie called, mirroring her mom in every way.
Everybody laughed and Eli nodded. "Sorry baby sis."
Dickie came up behind Eli and wrapped him in a bear hug. "Dude move back to New York I miss you."
"Am I not good enough!" Noah exclaimed dramatically and Liz wrapped an arm around him. "This twin loves you more, don't worry."
"You're the best Dickie, but we miss Eli," Benny said as he climbed up his big brother to hug him.
Mo and Katie filed in soon after with their spouses and babies who were just 6 months apart.
Leaning back against the counter, Liv looked up at Elliot who smiled loving back down at her.
Their moment was broken up by the little twins and their grand babies, calling for them to come play. They both chuckled, their unspoken conversation about retirement and living this life every day leaving a smile on both of their faces as they joined their family.
