Beauty and the Vampire
Summary: Duzell's version of "Beauty and the Beast". Oneshot.
A/N: This is just basically useless drabble I made up while I was very bored. Read and Review if you want. Flames accepted but I'm still proud of it nonetheless. When I wrote this (on June 22, 2005) I had read up to book 7. Oneshot. No Spoilers…Or are there!
Beauty and the Vampire
Once upon a time in a land far far away there lived a Vampire King...
"Duzie?" She's looking for him.
He had everything he wanted…Except true love.
"Duzie? Where are you!"
Then one day he was killed by St. Phelios but before he died he cursed the King so that one day they would both be reincarnated and battle once again.
"Duzell!"
But the day soon came that the Vampire was reincarnated as a kyawl. Not long after he was adopted as the pet of St. Phelios' great-granddaughter.
A concerned look crossed her face as she turns her head to look for him.
The event was unlikely but eventually the Vampire King fell in love with the Princess.
She quietly whispers his name now as she searches for him.
But the Princess loved someone else.
She looks under the bed, in the closet, under the drawer…
The Princess loved her bodyguard.
Then she sees his note.
The Vampire King tried to kill the bodyguard.
She realizes what he's done.
But when the Princess found out she was angry at the Vampire. She yelled at him, told him she didn't love him at all.
She rushes for the bathroom door, tears running down her face.
So the Vampire King decided to end his heartache.
She opens the door and sees what happened.
He slit his wrists and drowned himself.
"Duzie!" She cries, into his bloody hand.
And they all lived happily ever after…
"I guess you've won, Phelios…Duzie is dead."
The End.
I don't know about you but I couldn't see the "me" in that until the end…I think? But anyway, I bet I freaked all the Daress fans out:
