When Stiles is at Allisons apartment she shows him her fathers secret map when Chris left the apartment and tells him that her father knows where everything will happen, but she can´t figure out how he knows. Stiles takes a photo of the map with the six remaining sites where the bodies will be found.
Meanwhile Lydia and Scott are in the hospital and enter Danny´s hospital room, only to see him knocked out cold on the bed.
"Should we try waking him up?" Lydia asks, closing the door behind them.
"Nah, he´s out cold I don´t think that would get us anywhere. Lets look through his bag, maybe we find the reason why he was targeted." Scott suggests.
"What do you expect to find in here?" Lydia asks, looking through the bag with Scott, taking out its contents.
"This." Scott says, showing her a project Danny did on Telluric Currents.
"Why that? It´s just his project for physics class." Lydia asks, browsing through the paper.
"Deucalion said that a clue to where Deaton is lies in currents. I think this is what he meant." Scott explains.
"Alright, let´s go." Lydia says, putting the paper in her bag while Scott puts everything else back in place in Danny´s backpack.
The two leave the hospital and meet up with Cora who waited in the parking lot for them.
"What did you find?" Cora asks.
"A project on Telluric Currents." Scott tells her while Lydia ignores her and opens her car.
"What do Telluric Currents have to do with where your boss is?" Cora asks confused.
"We don´t know yet, but … wait, it´s Stiles." Scott says and answers his ringing phone.
"Scott, It´s Stiles and Allison, she found a map with six more locations of where the bodies will appear." Stiles tells him over the phone.
"Great, bring it over to the animal clinic, we found something which might help narrow down which one Deaton is at." Scott tells him and hangs up before getting in Lydia´s car with Cora following suit.
"So what now?" Lydia asks Scott.
"We meet up with Stiles at the animal clinic, he has six possible locations of where Deaton could appear and I´m hoping that will help narrow it down." Scott tells her, pointing at the project.
Lydia drives them to the animal clinic, where the three enter and read over the project while waiting for Stiles.
"What´s this?" Stiles asks, seeing a map spread out on the table in the clinic when he arrives.
"Danny marked all the Telluric Currents on this map, Lydia was thinking, that they have something to do with those locations you mentioned.
"Well I can tell you they do. They match." Stiles tells them, putting his phone on the table and zooming in on some parts of the map, pointing at them on Danny´s map.
"There is always three places right? Where they are kidnapped and where the body is found." Scott says, circling the beginning and end of a line starting at Deatons clinic.
"Which means the sacrifice happens somewhere in between." Lydia finishes.
"But where could he be?" Scott asks, following the blue marked line which shows where Deaton could be sacrificed.
"Stop. He´s in the vault. In the same vault." Cora tells them, pointing at the Beacon Hills Bank which lies right on top of the blue marked current.
"Makes sense, let´s go." Scott says, already heading for the door.
"Wait, it´s Body, the plan didn´t work and they cut the power." Cora tells them, receiving a text from Boyd.
"Now what?" Stiles asks.
"I can save Deaton myself, you guys head to the loft and help Derek." Scott tells them and Cora already goes ahead with Stiles.
"Wait." Scott stops Lydia, who was following them, grabbing her arm.
"What is it?" She asks.
"Just don´t do anything stupid OK? I know I started training you, but those are alphas. Ruthless killing alphas, even the twins. Don´t engage them. Promise me." Scott tells her worried.
"Scotty, I´m a genius don´t you think I know not to fight against a pack of alphas?" She asks him, almost laughing while they head out of the clinic.
"I know, I´m just worried. Deucalion knew this would happen and I don´t want him to target you because you are more important to me than anything." Scott tells her, giving her a quick hug.
"Stop worrying so much, if anything goes wrong we have Cora with us, she can slow them down and I´ll just run away with Stiles. Promise." She tells him.
"Thanks. Stay safe." Scott says and gets on his bike, taking off towards the Bank vault.
When he gets there he finds Deaton hanging von his wrists, almost passed out, encircled by mountain ash. He tries to force his way into the circle but just as he gets one foot across he feels himself changing, loosing control to the force inside of him left by Deucalion, his scalera turns black and his eyes become an even deeper red but Scott takes a step back and gets flung across the room, where he shakes his head trying to gain control over himself. Much to his luck Noah Stilinski got the idea to check on the vault himself upon recalling that one of Deaton´s vials had the symbol of the bank on it and shoots Deaton down, assuming Scott tried to lift Deaton up and free him but didn´t succeed.
While this is going on at the Vault, back at Dereks loft a wild fight has broken out. At first Kali and the twins showed up after cutting the power and Kali fights Derek one-on-one with the twins holding Derek´s new girlfriend, Jennifer hostage.
Kali then proceeds to kick the shit out of Derek, though she doesn´t land any critical hits since she´s enjoying toying with Derek, who she assumed killed Ennis. This continues on until Issac gets a text from Stiles, saying ´now´ and the teen races across the floor to the twins and Jennifer, taking care of the woman, after the twins release her upon seeing Kali, Derek and Boyd all get shocked due to the now electrified water covering the lofts floor.
The electrical burst only lasts a couple seconds, but it manages to piss Kali off and tells her that Derek is getting reinforcements, so she orders the twins to hold Derek and keep him in his transformed state while Kali picks up the weakened Boyd and throws him onto Derek´s claws, inflicting a mortal injury on his Beta. After doing what Deucalion wanted her to do in the first place she leaves with the twins, telling Derek that he has until the next full moon to join the pack.
Shortly after the alpha pack left Cora, Lydia and Stiles arrive at the scene, hopeful until they see Derek holding the dying Boyd in his arms.
Everyone is mourning Boyd´s loss with Cora holding the now dead teens hand and crying over his body, having felt connected to him through their imprisonment together.
After Deaton is awake, after Scott and Noah shaking the man once they are sure he´s still breathing Deaton tells Scott something while Noah is getting an ambulance.
"Your eyes, were black. You need to be careful not to get overwhelmed by your powers."
"I know, I just don´t know how." Scott replies saddened, feeling that he let Deaton down.
"Scott, I saw that you almost got through the barrier, but I am glad you didn´t because it would have changed you more than you realize. Once you start depending on this power you won´t want to let it go." Deaton warns him.
"I´m just glad you´re safe. Oh crap, Derek." Scott says, giving his father figure a hug before recalling that there is another situation going on.
"Go." Deaton tells him, nodding for Scott to leave.
Scott runs out of the bank and gets on his bike, riding to Derek´s loft as soon as he can but he only arrives 10 minutes after Cora, Stiles and Lydia did.
"What happened?" Scott asks, seeing Lydia, Isaac and Stiles sitting downcast at the lofts stairs while Jennifer is next to Derek and Cora is still at Boyd´s side.
"They killed Boyd, and they made Derek do it." Lydia says, throwing her arms around Scott.
"Why did they do it?" Scott asks.
"To make Derek want to kill me and his sister too, to get him to want to join their pack." Issac answers.
"What about Deaton?" Stiles asks while Lydia releases her boyfriend from her embrace.
"He is safe, your dad actually saved him." Scott tells him.
"My dad? How?" Stiles asks confused.
"I couldn´t get to Deaton because of a mountain ash barrier, your dad made a lucky conclusion and found us in the vault and shot Deaton down, he was hanging by his hands and passed out." Scott explains.
"That good, but what now?" Isaac asks.
"I… I don´t know." Scott says, looking at Boyd´s body.
That same night the police find another doctor killed via asphyxiation.
Days later Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Isaac, Allison and Cora ask Gerard and Peter about the past of Deucalion and Derek with Stiles and Isaac asking Peter while Lydia, Scott and Allison are questioning Allison's grandfather and both men tell them a version of the story, but Scott is convinced that Gerard didn´t tell the entire truth, because his heartrate was steady the whole time, making Scott believe that he kept things from them.
