A Few Hours Of Searching Later
After hours of searching the temple and its surrounding grounds , Anakin found the orders little green troll like Grandmaster in one of the gardens meditating .
" Master Yoda ! I ve been looking for you all over the time " Anakin said now, "well found me now you have Skywalker " the old master replied with a slightly amused expression in his eyes as watched the young Jedi shift from foot to foot uncomfortably looking ashamed and embarrassed.
Under normal circumstances Anakin would have gone to Obi wan with a problem like this but seeing as Obi wan wasn't here ,because of Anakin's foolishness Master Yoda was the only other person who could help him get Obi wan back and make things right again.
So Anakin took a deep breath and swallowed his pride ready to beg if he had too, and said " master I need your help and there's no one else I can go to master" Anakin said now .
The little green grandmasters ears twitched slightly as Anakin said this and he tapped the ground opposite him with his gimmer stick , and said " sit you will Young Skywalker and tell me what has you so troubled you will and help I will if I can" Yoda told him kindly sensing that the Padawan was very destressed about the matter he was asking for help with.
Anakin nodded and sat down opposite the elderly alien and proceeded to tell him ,everything including about the fight he and Obi wan had and how he had made a wish that Obi wan had died instead of Qui gon and how when he had woken up this morning his wish had come true some how.
" Please help me put things back the way they were before I made that stupid wish Master" Anakin said with tear filled pleading Sapphire blue eyes, his story was told.
The little green grandmaster almost felt sorry for young Skywalker as putting right what he had done was not going to be as easy as he seemed to think it would be , he had messed with the cosmic balance of both the galaxy and the force with his selfish wish.
And there was always the chance that Young Obi wan would not want return to a world and life where not even his best friend had valued him, after all done this was for a reason Yoda thought to himself.
But Skywalker was sitting here looking to Yoda for the answers that would bring his friend back, learned his lesson now he has maybe ! Yoda thought to himself now.
As he said " help you I will ! but easy it will not be as thrown off the balance of galaxy with your foolish wish you did and a price there always is when the force is involved "Yoda told him.
Anakin nodded sadly and said " I ' ll gladly pay whatever price the force asks for the chance to have Obi wan master", Yoda nodded solemnly and then said " then go back to your current master and training you will until needed you are!"
"As meditate on what we will need to do I must now" the wise little alien told him " yes master " Anakin said with a slight bow and he turned around and left Yoda heading back to his and Qui gon's quarters.
Qui gon Anakin thought to himself he really wasn't looking forward too ,another confrontation with the man but he would have to see and speak to him at some point and at some stage they would have to sit down and talk about Obi wan Anakin thought to himself tearfully.
Just incase they didn't get him back oh force! Anakin didn't even want to know what life would be like then for him and Qui gon , it was bad enough now Anakin thought to himself.
Ten minutes later
Anakin walked into his and Qui gon 's to a scene that was common place with Obi wan in the day's , weeks and months after Qui gon had died and then again more recently when Maul had killed satine . Except that this time it was Qui gon who was sitting at the kitchen counter with half empty bottle of corellian blue whisky and a glass of the retched stuff in infront him .
Anakin sighed something told him that this was a nightly occurrence when he had turned in for the night but for some reason Qui gon had started early tonight.
Oh force I don't want any part of this Anakin thought himself , if it had been Obi wan he would've have joined him and braved the hangover the in the morning.
But Anakin knew from experience that drinking the pain away didn't make anything better he'd tried it when Padme had asked him for divorce a year ago, and it certainly hadn't made life easier or more bare able for Obi wan after Satine died.
And it wasn't going to bring Obi wan back thought now Anakin sighed and walked passed Qui gon and went to the fridge and got the fixings for sandwiches out as he hadn't eaten since lunchtime and he was pretty sure that Qui gon hadn't eaten yet either.
So he worked in silence for a few minutes on the sandwiches until he couldn't stand it anymore and then he said softly "hiding in the bottom of a glass isn't going to make things better or bring Obi wan back".
Qui gon snorted and looked up from his drink as Anakin placed a plate with a sandwich on infront of the older man and said "a piece offering for this morning " when Qui gon just stared at it . Anakin sighed and picked up his own plate and said " Okay well I got assignments for to class do ."
"So I'll just leave to your wallowing then shall I " Anakin said and headed off to his room , for the rest of the night.
