A/N: Welcome back! Only three more chapters of this one! Bittersweet. Thank you for reading!

"You played that too good down there," El whispered as he nibbled on his wife's earlobe whole they lay tangled by the fire in their bedroom.

"I really want tomorrow to be a surprise," she whispered, exhaling a breathy moan.

"Did good," he said, pushing aside the heavy blanket to snake a hand between her legs. "Almost had me believing you."

"We've waited long enough… I wanna be your wife, Elliot," she whispered, looking up at him longingly.

"I want you to be my wife," he smiled, inching his way on top of her as the fire crackled beside them. "But till then I wanna keep making love to my fiancé… can I do that?" He whispered against her lips, pulling her leg up around his waist.

"I wish you would," she whimpered as he sunk into her, her lips and walls still slick from his cum.

Earlier:

All of the kids were completely worn out from their snow day that continued, just as it was about to come to a close, when the rest of the crew arrived.

Ben and Charlie were minutes away from a meltdown when they were finally dragged inside, refusing to eat and beginning instead for snuggles by the fire to get warm with their mommy and daddy.

Once they'd knocked out, Elliot and Eli carried them up to bed while Liv helped Sonny plate out the enormous pot of pasta with homemade sauce and meatballs he'd brought with him.

The grandkids and the littlest Carisis weren't far behind Ben and Charlie, and the "teenagers" (as they preferred to be called) had escaped down to hang in the game room while the rest of the siblings and friends remained upstairs for wine.

"Alright," Fin finally said, once everyone was sufficiently wine drunk and had tiptoed around the wedding conversions for approaching two hours. "Are you two getting hitched or not."

"Fin," Liv warned.

"Come on guys… all this?" He said, motioning to the grandiose area around him. "All us?!"

"Yeah plus the twins and boys are being super weird," Dickie prodded with a laugh.

"Also you've been engaged longer than you've been together," Liz added with an excited grin.

Liv sighed softly, giving Elliot a pinch that said "go along with it," before standing up and silently moving to the kitchen for a refill.

"Mama they're just teasing," Maureen said quickly, watching the brunette navigate the kitchen.

"Guys," El said with a sigh, holding a hand up to cut them off. "We… this is a sensitive subject."

"El don't start," Liv said with mock harshness that made him flinch. "This is hard enough with the twins without you guys filling their heads," she sighed, sipping her wine with shaking hands.

"Yes," El said carefully. "We just…" he trailed off, watching Liv make her way to the stairs.

"Mama, don't," Katie frowned, standing up and holding a hand out to her.

"Guys… baby," she said gently, walking over and putting a hand on her shoulder. "I'm okay I just… dad's right… this subject is sensitive, especially with Noah and the twins and it's been a long day we… we have another long day tomorrow and we're all a little drunk. I'm just ready for bed," she said, faking a smile and forcing tears to her eyes.

"Mama," Dickie said softly with a frown, enveloping her in a hug from behind. "I'm sorry…"

"It's okay," she whispered, blinking the fresh tears down her cheeks. "I love you. I'll see you guys in the morning," she promised, kissing her kid's and kid-in-law's cheeks before waving to her friends and escaping upstairs.

All eyes were on Elliot the minute they heard their door shut, and he sighed, covering his face.

"Guys…" he began, but Fin held his hand up.

"No, man… I'm sorry we just thought… you know," he said with a sad smile. "I'm sorry…"

"Don't be.. it's me," he sighed, shaking his head. "I should," he motioned awkwardly up the stairs and they all nodded quickly, whispering goodnight and ushering him up to bed.

He knocked softy the bedroom door for effect, waiting for her soft "come in" before entering their darkened bedroom and locking the door.

Suddenly feeling like they'd gone too far and she really was upset, he rounded the corner with his chest tight and anxious, only to find her sprayed out between two big blankets in front of the fire.

Her clothes sat in a pile beside her and the top blanket was just high enough over her breasts to be incredibly clear of her intentions.

Breaking out into a smile, he pulled his shirt over his head and stalked slowly towards her.

"They're gonna be very surprised, I think," she purred, watching him inch the blanket off of her slowly with his foot.

"Very," he agreed with a wink.

Once everyone has retired to their rooms for the evening, shortly after Liv and El, the texts began flying.

A: I'm so confused

F: Yo I think I pissed her off

P: You definitely did, baby

D: Twins think they're getting married they're gonna be crushed.

Kayla: I feel played

M: Yeah I don't buy it. Mom was TOO emotional.

L: Agreed!

Katie: Guess we'll see tomorrow!

C: What do we do about the twins

D: Worry about it in the morning I guess

L: I'm gonna interrogate them when they wake up

D: Lmao same

Katie: You guys are bad!!!

D: I can get them to tell me anything

L: Leave Noah out of it tho

E: Don't interrogate any of them this is a super fragile thing for all of them so leave them be please

S: Agree with Eli...

M: Agreed with Eli, too.

M: But still think they're bullshitting us.

Eli and Noah were sat on the bottom bunk of their beds while their younger siblings slept, reading the thread carefully and bursting into silent laughter when texts from their parents came through in a group chat.

E: Mom's getting both a wedding ring and an Oscar tomorrow.

L: We just played them so hard!

E: Hahahaha

Eli: Omg they're freaked out

N: It's 50/50 but I think Eli got them off the scent!

E: Come right into us with the twins in the morning we have to bribe their silence

L: What he said!

Eli: Sounds good!

N: Aye aye!

Setting his phone down, Noah looked to his older brother with a big smile.

"Mom and dad are getting married," he whispered, the moonlight through the window catching a glint of a tear in his eyes.

"Always told you they would," Eli whispered back, putting a hand on his younger brother's arm. "Have I ever lied to you."

"Weeeelllll," Noah whispered in a high pitched voice after thinking a moment, sending Eli into a fit of silent hysterics.

"Love you big brother," Noah said shyly with a small smile after climbing up the bunk bed and getting settled.

"Love your more, baby bro," Eli chuckled, reaching a hand up for knuckles and laughing again when Noah knocked back too hard.

"Shhhhhh," came their baby sister's voice from the lower bunk bed on the other side of the room. "Don't wake my Benny up."

"Never," Noah promised with a whisper. "Go back to sleep."

"Love you, boys," she whispered.

"We love you, Princess," Eli said, getting up to tuck her back in and kiss her cheek.

"I love you more," Noah said, making Charlie smile.

"No, I definitely love you more," Eli shot back.

"I love her the most," came Benny's sleepy voice. "And I'm hungry."

"Eli," Noah and Charlie said together.

The oldest brother grumbled lightly and stood up with a yawn of his own. "Yeah, yeah," he said, making his way to find a snack.
