After the police showed up and the teens have been cleared by a medic Kira, Stiles and Scott are all brought down to the police station.
Meanwhile across town Isaac, who was staying over at the Argents new home gets attacked by what he then can only describe to the hunter family as shadowy ninjas with yellow eyes who came and went with the shadows.
At the police station Scott's father is the one to lead the interview of the three teens, who are sitting in the Sheriff's office.
"So, let's start from the top. When did you get there?" He asks.
"Who. Because we all came at different times basically." Stiles says snarkily.
"I was the first there. I was at the party across the street and came out of the bathroom when I felt something being pushed over my face and the next thing I know is I wake up chained to a fence inside the power station." Kira answers.
"See young Stilinski, that's how you answer properly." Scott's father tells his son's best friend.
"Anyways. Stiles asked me to help him look for Kira and we somehow ended up looking in the power station." Scott says.
"Why would you look there?" The FBI agent asks his son.
"Well the lock was busted. So we thought something was weird." Stiles chimes in.
"Right. Anyways when we went to check it out Stiles grabbed his bat just in case and I went ahead to see if we were looking in the right place. That's when I saw that guy." Scott answers.
"Burrows. He was previously locked into a psychiatric facility for believing that he saw people with glowing eyes." Scott's father says, reading from a report.
"Anyways. That Burrows guy was going to electrocute me when Scott surprised him and he lost control over the power cables. The next thing we know the station is out and he's dead." Kira quickly finishes so Scott and Stiles can't talk about what happened really.
"Is that how you remember it?" Scott's father asks his son.
"Yeah. He must've tripped or something. I couldn't see in detail why he lost control but all of us were nowhere near him when it happened. Luckily." Scott answers.
"Fine. Any idea why he would come after you Kira?" Agent McCall asks.
"I don't know. Maybe he saw me with one of those toy light up glasses at the party." Kira lies, the others in the room looking at her intrigued.
"Can I have my stuff back now?" She asks, her purse and phone having been collected as evidence.
"Your wallet yet. Phone, not. It's evidence and needs to be processed first." Scott's father replies.
The three then are allowed to leave.
"Kira. One of the officers will take you home." The FBI agent tells her once they are out of the office, but Stiles quickly chimes in, "He doesn't need to do that. I can take her home."
"Yes, thank you." Kira accepts with a small smile, but nervously watches as Scott's father brings the phone to the evidence room.
After getting out of the police station Stiles drives the girl home and gathers his courage before finally breaking the silence between them.
"Crazy night huh?" He asks.
"Yeah, crazy is one word for it." She says.
"So the lightning going into your hands?" Stiles asks.
"I don't know myself, can we talk about something else?" She asks nervously.
"OK, sure. Uh, how did you enjoy the night before well being kidnapped?" Stiles asks.
"I had fun." She says with a small smile.
"Good, me too. Do you want to go on another date sometime?" He asks.
"Another?" She asks mirthfully.
"Ahem, I'm not saying we just went on a date or anything uh I just... I'll stop talking now." He says with a sigh.
"I'd love to go on a date with you." Kira tells him and kisses his cheek with a smile.
"Great. And uhm about the other thing. Don't worry Scott and I won't tell anyone." Stiles tells her as she's getting out of his jeep.
"Thank you." She says gratefully, nodding her head and waves him goodbye after exiting the vehicle.
The next day
While everyone is at school Isaac is struggling with keeping what happened from Scott and their friends, but he and Allison promised her father to give him a day to look into it himself before telling anyone.
Meanwhile the twins or rather Ethan decide to help Danny throw a blacklight party so they can show Scott that they can be nice guys, not only the two who helped kill Boyd and Erica.
During a free period, Stiles goes looking for the latest object of his desires and finds Kira sitting alone on some stairs lost in thought.
"Hey. If you're worried about the math test, the teacher always uses stuff directly from the book." Stiles tells her, dropping down his bag and sitting next to her.
She looks at him like a lost puppy in response.
"What's wrong?" He asks.
"It's about what happened. Do you have your phone?" She asks, receiving a nod in response before he slips it out of his pocket.
"Take a picture of me with the flash on." Kira tells him and Stiles shrugs his shoulder, taking the picture and is surprised to see her surrounded by a yellowish energy field of some sort on the photo.
"Whoa. Wicked." He says, zooming in on the energy.
"Is that what protected you?" Stiles asks.
"I think so. I know, it looks like I'm possessed by a demon." She says, hiding her face in shame.
"No. I think it looks well, kind of like you're going super sayajin." He laughs, making her chuckle as well.
"Thanks. But it's nothing as glamorous as that I only make bad photos and sometimes lamps just go haywire around me." Kira informs him.
"So that's why you were so concerned about your photo. You have pictures like this on it?" Stiles asks.
"Yes. Burrows took them. And I don't even know how he knew about me." Kira tells him.
"We need to break into the Sheriff's office." Stiles says in realization.
"And I know just who will help." Stiles says.
Hours later Stiles, Scott and Kira are sitting in his Jeep, discussing the plan on how to break into the office.
"Alright, we need to hurry. As long as my dad isn't back yet." Scott says and hops out of the car with Kira.
"What did Stiles tell you about the pictures?" Kira asks Scott.
"Uh, nothing just that they are embarrassing photos" Scott lies.
"Oh OK." She says nodding relieved before they sneak into the police station.
The two then make their way into Scott's father's provisional office and Kira manages to delete the pictures.
Once the two are back outside they hop into Stiles Jeep and Kira is completely thrilled about breaking the law.
"Kira. How would you like to come to a party?" Stiles then asks the girl hopefully.
"I'd love to." She says smiling ear to ear.
"That's my que. I'm meeting Lydia at her place." Scott says and hops out of the vehicle, patting Stiles' shoulder goodbye.
While Scott drives to the Martin house Stiles and Kira are on their way to the blacklight party, not aware of the incidents happening there as they are driving. In the parking lot Derek gets surprised by the dark shadowy creatures Isaac saw the night before and the same happens to Ethan, who nearly freezes to death when he falls catatonic into a pile of ice cubes until Isaac and Allison find him when Danny asked the couple to bring some ice.
Stiles and Kira arrive at the party maybe half an hour after splitting up from Scott and are greeted to loud blaring music and a horde of glowing people wearing body paint which is illuminated by the blacklight.
"Do you know all these people?" Kira asks curiously.
"Uh well, no. But there's Danny. and That's Isaac and Allison, my ex. Sorry probably a bad time to tell you about her. And there's wait. Lydia?" Stiles says surprised and sees her dancing very closely with Aiden.
"Uhh, can you give me one second?" Stiles asks, Kira nodding insecurely and Stiles heads over to Lydia.
"Lydia. What are you doing here? Scott just went to your house to meet you." Stiles asks her.
The redhed looks around confused, covering her ears because of the loud music and follows Stiles into the hallway in front of the apartment.
"How did I get here?" Lydia asks Stiles.
"And why were you dancing with Aiden?" Stiles asks.
"What?! Aiden?" She shouts upset.
"Is it safe to assume you don't know how you got here?" Stiles asks her.
"Yeah. The last thing I remember is... I was waiting for Scott to come over and reading a magazine." She says.
"So you're telling me I have taken the girl I'm trying to ask out from a party where she got kidnapped to a party where someone is pretty likely to die?" Stiles asks in realization.
"I think we better call Scott." Lydia says nodding in agreement.
"You do that I'll look for Kira." Stiles tells her and hurries back to the party.
Stiles looks around but can't find her in the dimly lit room with all the glowing people. He gets an idea and snaps a couple of pictures, looking at the photos he sees Kira standing alone at the edge of the room.
He quickly deletes the images and hurries over to her.
"So, what is Lydia doing here? Didn't Scott say they were supposed to meet up?" Kira asks.
"Yeah. That's kind of hard to explain. Let's just have some fun." Stiles tells her with a grin and pulls her with him into the crowd of dancing people.
After Lydia calls it doesn't take Scott long to fly over to Derek's place with his abilities. When he gets there however, he sees a certain former alpha lying face down in the parking lot and drops down, shaking the bulkier man awake.
"Scott? What happened? What were they?" Derek asks, looking around for the shadowy figures which attacked him.
"What was what?" Scott asks confused, helping Derek up.
"Those shadow creatures." Derek says, holding his neck in pain.
"You have a mark there. It looks like a 5 facing the wrong way." Scott tells Derek confused, looking at where he's holding his neck.
"What the hell is going on?" Derek growls angrily.
"Since when are you back anyways?" Scott asks the former alpha.
"Not long. What are you doing here?" Derek asks in return.
"Uhhh. Well, there is a party in your loft." Scott says sheepishly and can literally see an angry vein on Derek's throat pulse.
"What!?" He shouts.
"I don't know whose idea it was, but with the power outage someone had the idea to make use of your generator." Scott answers.
"I'm gonna kill them." Derek says angrily and storms into the building and into his loft, where he promptly kicks out all the guests at the party, only Scott's friends remaining, with the alpha arriving while the guests leave.
"Hey." Scott greets Lydia, pulling her into a hug.
"Did you have another banshee episode?" Scott asks.
"I think so, but Stiles said I was... talking with Aiden." Lydia says, Scott hearing her heart beating faster at the lie but doesn't address it.
"Weird. You never talked before." Scott says, rubbing over her back.
"I'm more interested in why Aiden? I hate that guy." Lydia says.
"Uhh, guys." Stiles alerts everyone when suddenly the shadowy figures appear inside the loft, staring at Scott's group and the twins, as well as Kira.
"It was them. These guys jumped me." Ethan shouts.
"Me too." Derek growls, transforming with the twins and charges the creatures, ignoring Scott shouting "Wait." and the three are quickly overpowered by the creatures.
"I better help them." Scott says, running towards the fight, Isaac joining as well but all of the werewolves and Scott can't land any attacks on the creatures, their bodies phasing through their opponents.
"What do these guys want?" Scott asks while kicking away one of the attackers, only to jump back when it has a hole in its body with his leg sticking through.
"They were the ones who marked me." Derek informs the alpha.
"No. Crap." Aiden says and is surrounded by three of the figures, one of whom grabs onto his neck and stares at him with its glowing yellow eyes.
Seconds later the former alpha falls over onto the ground twitching and the creatures turn towards Scott and Kira, staring at them before disappearing when the sun rises, shining a light through them and dissolving them.
"Yeah. That's normal." Stiles remarks, still holding onto a shocked Kira's hand.
