Don't expect a consistent upload schedule, things are happening, and I won't always have time to write this story.
Anyway, on to chapter 2
The Next Day
Izuku woke up to the sound of his All Might alarm; he rolled over to shut it off, but his hand smacked into his bookcase causing one of his notebooks to fall hitting him in the face.
"Oww, what the heck!?" Izuku moaned still coming out of his morning confusion
Izuku sat up and looked around wondering why he was on the floor in his room. The previous day's memories hit him at once as he started to get up. He smiled as he turned to a sleeping Goku on his bed, excited to have someone to be friends with.
"We have so much we need to do today, but first." Izuku shakes Goku wake.
"Hey, Goku it's time to get up, after breakfast I want you to help me with my quirk."
Goku stirs opening his eyes, in a half-asleep daze he gets up rubbing his eyes.
"Where am I?" Goku mumbles
"You are at my house; do you remember yesterday?"
Goku's eyes shoot open, and he looks at Izuku "That wasn't a dream?!" He exclaims
"Nope that was all real, now come on I smell my mom cooking breakfast."
Izuku grabs Goku's hand and drags him to the table where Inko greets him.
"Good morning Goku, did you sleep well?"
"Yes, thank you Ms. Midoriya."
"Please just call me Inko" Inko suggests
"Ok Ms. Inko"
As they sit down and start eating, they make light conversation to get to know each other. Nearing the end of breakfast Goku drops the question the Midoriya's were waiting for.
"Um Ms. Inko I need to ask you; do you have a day you can drive me to the next town when I leave?"
Inko Just finishing her breakfast stops to think.
"Well, I don't have any good days off of my head. But I may have a solution to that."
Inko after saying this gets up and picks up a small stack of paper left on the living room table face down. She puts it in front of Goku and asks him to read it. After a few minutes of reading passes Goku's eyes grow wider with each sentence, he looks up to see Izuku and Inko smiling at him.
"I suppose I should ask you formally." Inko starts "Son Goku would you let me adopt you into our family?"
Goku not expecting this begins to shake looking down shadow over his eyes. After a few seconds, he looks up with the biggest smile on his face yet.
"Yes please." He said starting to tear up again
Most of the day was spent doing paperwork and getting Goku set up in the guest room of Inko's house. By the time they were done, they had sat down to start having dinner.
"Hey, Goku I need to ask you something," Izuku asked
"Yeah Izuku?"
"I know you said you are quirkless without your tail, but do you think it wasn't your entire quirk?"
"My entire quirk?" Goku asked
"Yeah, earlier when we were moving things in your room you could pick up stuff mom and I couldn't like you moving the dresser."
Goku pondered on what Izuku said for a moment.
"Now that I think about it my grandpa always told me I was very strong for my age, but I thought that was just because I adapted to living in the mountains doing chores."
"What kind of chores did you do with your grandpa?" Inko questioned
"Well, I got firewood from trees by knocking them over and dragging them to the house, I chopped them up with different punches and kicks and fished for the giant Fish in the lake."
The Two Midoriya's stared at Goku slack-jawed trying to comprehend what he said.
"You did this stuff after a while though right?" Inko questioned
"No, I started as soon as I was adopted. It was hard the first couple of days but after that, I was just as good as Grandpa. Can't all people do that?"
Izuku answered, "Not without quirks or being strong."
"So, I might still have my quirk?"
"This is great news, if we start training now maybe I can get as strong as you!" Izuku exclaimed
"Yeah!" Goku said returning the same excitement "Maybe we can also find out what your quirk is."
Izuku suddenly stopped and looked at Goku wide-eyed while Inko sat with a confused expression.
"What do you mean Izuku is quirkless," Inko said
Izuku then ran to his room and grabbed his backpack that held his orbs.
"Mom I can't believe I forgot but I think I have a quirk!"
Izuku Yelled as he dug in his bag for the desired item. Once Izuku found them he pulled them out and set them on the table. Inko looked at the seven golfball-sized yellow orbs with green stars in them.
"Wow, I wonder what they do?" Inko said in aww "We are going to the quirk doctor tomorrow to get your quirk registered"
"No mom I don't want to go back there." Izuku protested
"You don't have a choice Izuku it's the law to get your quirk Registered"
Izuku pouted trying to think of a way out.
"I have an idea." Goku said "what if we go into the forest outside the city and try to activate it first? The quirk doctor won't be able to help if you don't know how to activate it."
"That's a great idea Goku then after I can activate it, we can go, but only to a different doctor the first one sucked," Izuku stated
Inko sat and thought about the idea the kids proposed, and after a little more convincing she accepted as long as she was there to supervise.
The Next day
"Ok, boys were here," Inko said
Izuku and Goku jumped out of the car and started down the trail.
"Hey slow down I need to keep an eye on you," Inko yelled toward the kids
After some time, walking on the trail deeper into the forest, the group came across a small clearing next to a lake.
Izuku ran into the clearing exploring the area.
"This is the perfect spot to test my quirk!" Izuku yelled to Goku and his mom.
They ran to Izuku as he got the orbs out of his bag. As he put them down the dull glow they emitted while Izuku was close started to glow brighter.
"Ok it's time, let's see what I can do."
Izuku strikes a pose and lifts his hand to try and control the orbs. He stays in that pose for a few seconds with nothing happening. He then tries to throw it at a tree only for it to bounce off. Izuku continues trying to use his quirk to attack in different ways.
"Izuku, I don't think your quirk is a fighting type quirk," Goku tells Izuku after his latest attempt.
Izuku sighs, picking up the orbs while walking to Goku and Inko.
"I don't understand, why won't my quirk do anything but glow when I'm close to it?"
"Izuku it could be a support quirk that only works with you," Inko reassures. "I've researched different quirks that manifest items and most summon weapons or act like storage, or they summon objects or animals like a magnet."
Izuku after thinking over what his mother said decides to try something different.
"Thanks, mom I think that will help a lot."
Izuku takes the orbs and puts them on the ground. As he did, he noticed them glowing more than they have ever before. Getting excited he calls his mother and Goku to watch. When they get closer, they see Izuku hold his hands over the orbs and watch as he closes his eyes.
"Ok, it's time to give it my all!" Izuku thinks "Please work." and pleads
"Now I summon whatever I'm supposed to summon! Izuku yells at the top of his lungs his eyes closed and raising his hands in the air.
Izuku waits a few seconds and cracks his eye open to check the ball. The ball's glow started to dim until it stopped entirely.
"Aww man, I thought for sure that was going to work!" Izuku complained turning away and walking to his mom.
As Izuku is being comforted by Inko Goku notices the sky start to grow dark.
"Um Izuku, Ms. Inko, did it get darker, or is it just me?" Goku said a little worried.
Inko and Izuku look up watching as the sky gets darker.
"Oh no it looks like a storm is coming in we need to gather everything quickly-" Inko stops noticing a green glow coming from the balls.
"Izuku look!" Inko shouts as she points at the balls.
As Izuku turns to see what she pointed at thunder was beginning to echo in the forest as the glow grew brighter from the orbs.
"What's happening?!" Izuku yelled over the wind that suddenly picked up becoming storm-like in ferocity.
Once Izuku finished that question a blinding lightning bolt struck the seven balls. Once the lightning was absorbed the balls started sparking and increasing in intensity. Suddenly the balls shoot a green bolt of lightning into the clouds leaving some sort of long body behind. As the group looks up as they see a green dragon a little bigger than the size of a car poking his head out of the clouds with two short arms attached to a long body that arcs from the clouds randomly.
The weather calms down allowing the group to gawk at the entrance of the dragon.
"I am the Eternal Dragon why have you summoned me, Master?"
"W-What?" Izuku stutters assuming it's talking to him. "Did you call me m-master?
"Of course, you are the one who gave me life."
"If I did then what am I supposed to do? do I use you in a fight?" Izuku Questioned
"My apologies Master you must be confused. I am an eternal dragon my purpose in this world is to grant your wishes."
"My wishes?"
"Yes, every time you summon me, I am obligated to grant you a wish of your choosing. After the wish is granted, I will slumber for exactly one year to regain my power to grant your next wish."
"Oh ok, uh can you answer some questions first?" Inko asked
"Does she speak for you master?"
"Um y-yes" Izuku studders
"Then you may." The dragon allowed
Inko Askes "What kind of wishes can you grant?"
"I can grant anything from giving what you call quirks to people, healing the wounded, and giving you wealth. My strength is corresponded with my master, even if he is physically weak your soul is one of the most powerful on the planet."
"So, if I wanted to, I could give Goku his quirk back?" Izuku asked
"That is impossible because Son Goku still has his quirk."
"So, was I right about Goku's quirk?" Izuku askes
"Yes, you were right Son Goku's main quirk is a growth multiplier along with a damage boost when fully healed."
Goku looks up stunned.
"My quirk is that powerful, that's so cool with this I can defiantly be a hero!" Goku thinks Excitedly
"Now master tell me what your wish is?"
Izuku thinks, "my quirk is so cool, but it can only be used once per year. Maybe-"
"I have my wish; I wish when you are recharging after a wish to shrink down into a small dragon to be one of my friends and partner!" Izuku tells the dragon
The dragon hesitated
"Are you sure about your wish Master?"
"Yes, I'm sure, it would be no fun if I only saw you once a year, and I'd prefer if you called me Izuku." Izuku smiles
The dragon complies "Very well Izuku"
The dragon's eye Glow red. "Your wish has been granted, make sure you keep the dragon balls together for if one is lost you will never be able to make another wish.
With that, the dragon glowed a blinding green and disappeared from the sky. The group looks down at the dragon balls, on the balls they find a dragon with no wings about a foot in length staring back at them, and under him, the balls have turned to stone.
"Wow look at you you're a little dragon now!"
Izuku picked up the little one and started petting him. the dragon leaned into Izuku's hand, enjoying its feeling and warmth.
"Do you have a name? I can't keep calling you dragon." Izuku asked
"No, you have to give me one since you created me." The mini dragon replied
"It might take some time but for now can we go home? I want to write down everything I learned from today."
"Yes dear, I think we all could use a rest after what just happened."
They gather their belonging and head to the car.
"I think I have a name for you, what do you think of Hogo because you like my guardian."
"Hogo," the mini dragon thinks, " I think that is a wonderful name, thank you Izuku!"
"That's a great name Izu dear, though how are we going to explain this in the quirk registry your and Goku's quirks are way different than what we first thought and I'm afraid of what could happen in people find out about what your quirk does," Inko said expressing her concerns
"Your quite right. "Hogo said "It is only made worse since Izuku is the only person that can use my power. If some villain discovered our potential, we could be used in terrible ways."
"What are we going to do?" asked Izuku
"Simple, we lie about the wish aspect, the balls don't exist, and I was born from a glowing light in Izuku."
"What about the lateness of your awakening?" Goku asked
"Well, you can say I needed time to incubate and grow like an egg."
Inko agreed wanting to insure Izuku's safety. The rest of that day was spent in the quirk doctor's office updating and registering the boy's quirks.
At the Midoriya's house in Izuku's room
"Man, that sucked." Goku complained, "All we did were boring tests for like an hour."
"It's done now so we don't need to worry about it anymore, and I'm just glad they bought the story we gave." Izuku said and turned to Hogo, "You said that the orbs I summoned you with were called dragon balls, right?
"Correct" Hogo replied
"And they can only be used in exactly one year?" Goku added
"Yes"
Izuku put on his thinking face and took out his notebook "So what can you do right now?
"Well, I can fly, breathe fire, and grow a little larger to complement your size. Hogo explained
"That's amazing! Can I do any of that stuff since you're my quirk?" Izuku asked
"No, because you asked me to stick around while I recharge my form is significantly weaker than my summon form and that is all me.
Izuku was busy scribbling in his notebook as Hogo was explaining his power. Goku listened with a frown look on his face
"So that means other than the dragon balls and you, he has no other power?" Goku asked
Izuku stopped thinking about what Goku said.
"Yes" Hogo replied
"That's fine, in one year I can make another wish and give myself another quirk, right?"
"Yes, with your quirk and the next few years you could be the strongest hero in the world."
After some more conversations, Inko came into Izuku's room and urged them into bed for school tomorrow. Izuku makes a small bed for Hogo next to his bed and wished him goodnight going to sleep with one thought.
"With Hugo and Goku by my side, we can become heroes!"
Izuku's quirk: Little Dragon
Description: The user is able to summon a little dragon with thought and while the dragon is weak it may grow as the user gets older.
Goku's Quirk: Potential Boost
Description: With hard work, all of the user's physical attributes will grow faster and surpass human limits such as strength, speed, endurance, and muscle memory
