My name is Izumi Midoriya and I am done. Done with the bullying, done with Bakugou, done with being called crazy for wanting to be a hero. I was done with life, and this was the final straw.
"I'm sorry girl, but a quirkless hero is unrealistic. You could be a cop or do something realistic," the deflated number one said.
I stood on the roof still looking at where he was before he left.
"Take a swan dive from the roof and pray for a quirk in your next life," Bakugou said.
I took my shoes off and went to the edge and looked down at the alley below me.
"Hey kid, I don't know what brought you up here but please don't. I'm not leaving so why don't you step from the edge and we can have a talk?" a woman said behind me.
"Why? What's the point?"
"Why don't we discuss that? Just step away from the edge and everything will be good," she said.
"How can everything be good when everything is against me? When I have been beaten, bullied, and threatened since I was four and got my diagnosis," I said as being quirkless was a disability for some reason.
"Don't listen to kids like that. Go to the teachers and tell them," she said.
"You think they would help? Half the time they encourage it," I said.
"What? Why wouldn't they do anything?"
"Who would care about a quirkless kid getting beaten?"
"Who cares if you have a quirk or not?"
"Have you ever heard about a quirkless kid being a hero?" I asked, knowing what was about to happen.
"A quirkless hero, do you want to be a hero?" she asked.
"Does it matter?"
"If you want to be the first quirkless hero then I say do it, stick it to those who didn't believe in you and show them that you are here and you are better than them," she said.
"You don't have to lie to make me feel better, I know I can't be one. No hero school accepts quirkless hero students," I said.
"Girl, I am being completely honest, you can be a hero," the voice said, unwavering. "Come with me and I will help you achieve your dreams. I won't promise you to be the greatest hero in the world but I will make you a hero."
"R-really?" I asked, turning around.
"Yes, now why don't you step down and tell me your name?" the woman asked.
I did and when I looked at her I had a realization.
"Y-you're the A-Archer Hero: Arrowette!" I said. "Oh, um, Izumi Midoriya."
"Well, while I'm slightly glad someone knows me I'm also slightly concerned given the fact that I am an Underground Hero," she said, tucking some of her blonde hair behind her ear.
"You were on the abducted child case earlier this year for your debut as a full pro and not just a sidekick," I recalled.
"So, why are you up here?" she asked.
"Um, well, I was attacked by a v-villain and A-All Might saved me," I said.
"Where is he? He's supposed to stay with any victims of villains he saved until they have been looked at by a paramedic," she said. "Did he call any?"
"I-I don't know, he just went to turn the villain in and I grabbed onto his leg as he leaped off. I then asked him if I-I c-could be a h-hero," I explained.
"Tell me what he said," she said, anger slightly present in her voice.
"H-he t-told me t-to be r-realistic," I said.
"I'm going to fucking kill him," she seethed. There was then an explosion not too far from where we were. "We are not done talking so come with me," Arrowette said, grabbing my arm and leading me down the building.
She led me down the street until we came across an alley where the sludge villain from before was there and explosions were coming from it.
"The kid's been in there for four minutes now," Death Arms said.
"I can't do anything with the fires," Kamui Woods added.
Wait, kid, explosions, Bakugou. I realized as his face momentarily was seen in the sludge. I then felt myself running towards him and taking my bag off and throwing it at him. I hit my target, the sludge's eyes. I then grabbed Bakugou and started pulling him out.
"What are you doing here Deku?" he seethed.
"I-I don't know, I just saw you here a-and couldn't let you die. I moved before I could think," I said, frantically trying to get him out.
There was then an arrow that embedded itself into the sludge's eye. I pulled Bakugou out as the sludge recoiled. I then ran to the side and grabbed the fire extinguisher and used it on the fires as Kamui Woods and Death Arms jumped forward with Arrowette right behind them. The three of them easily took the villain out with Backdraft finishing putting the fires out as to not catch Kamui Woods on fire.
"Girl, what do you think you were doing?" Death Arms asked, walking up to me.
"Hey kid, nice quirk. I can't wait to see what you do," Backdraft said to Bakugou.
Of course.
"What you did was dangerous, you should've just left it to us pros," Death Arms said.
"Are you shitting me?" Arrowette spoke up. "She did more than most of you who were just standing around waiting for, and I quote, 'A hero with a better quirk' to come do your job. And you, Kamui, why are you praising this brat for using his quirk during a villian attack instead of arresting him for vigilantism, which he committed by using his quirk during a villain attack?" Arrowette asked. "Any of you could have grabbed the fire extinguisher on the side of the building, that is in almost every alley like this, and put the fires out so you could get the villain. And you, boy," she said, looking at Bakugou.
"The fuck do you want?" he growled.
"First off, watch your tongue because I am a hero who helped this young girl save your life," she said. "And secondly, why did you think it would be smart to use your quirk in a place where it is dangerous for everyone? If you think that it was a smart idea to use explosions in an enclosed space with flammable objects is smart then I pray you don't plan on being a hero," she added.
"The fuck you talking about bitch? I'm going to be the next fucking number one hero after I graduate from UA," Bakugou said. "And that quirkless bitch didn't save me, she just got in the fucking way."
"I don't think you understand so let me make it clear for you," she said, walking up to him and putting quirk suppressant cuffs on him. "You are under arrest for illegal quirk usage and attempted vigilantism," she said. "Midoriya, after the paramedics check you out, can you wait here so we can finish our discussion?"
"S-sure," I said, looking around and noticing the crowd had dispersed and EMT's were making their way over with some police officers.
They quickly checked me over and found no injuries. I watched as they put the villain in a container and drove off with him as some other officers were trying to put Bakugou in the back of a police car but he was fighting them. Once I was clear I went over where Arrowette was and she looked at me.
"I'll walk you home," she said, looking at me.
"Th-thanks," I said, starting to walk in the direction of my house.
"So, who was he to you?" she asked.
"W-what do you mean?" I asked.
"The two of you have to have history since he knows you're quirkless," she said.
"H-he i-was my best friend when we were younger," I said.
"But what happened?" she pushed.
"W-when he learned of my condition h-he started t-to b-bully me," I said.
"Is that it?"
"Y-yes," I said.
"Alright, tomorrow I am going to come over to your place and I'll talk to your mother," she said.
"Y-you don't h-have to do that," I said.
"Actually, I do," she said. "Don't worry, I don't have to tell her everything you told me, just that I met up with you," she explained.
"A-alright," I relented, realizing that tomorrow was Saturday. "This is where I live," I said, motioning to the door.
"Ok, have a good rest of the night. Oh, here's my number, give me a call if you need anything," she said, handing me a piece of paper.
"Thank you," I said, as I opened the door and walked in.

I didn't like my Green Arrow fic so it's gone. This is going to be a Quirkless!Izumi fic where she uses equipment to fight. I'm not sure what style of fighting she will use but I am working on it. She will also be using gadgets but I am working on designing them as well as her hero aesthetic. If you have any suggestions let me know.
