The entire school week had come and gone in a flash.

The same could be said about every single one of the Church's plans. Each one came and went without a single hint of success. And with each failure Yamai got even more desperate.

The sound of the dismissal bell reverberated through the school's corridors, as the students of Itan Private High left the school compound on their way to enjoy their weekend. Tadano and Komi however, were still in their classroom, handling admin duties since Tadano was still the class representative.

"Hey… Shouko?"

"Yes…?"

"Do you… want to go on a date tomorrow…?"

Komi blushed. She'd always get a little flustered when thinking about a date.

"S-sure, I'd love to…"

"Ah… alright then…"

Awkward silence filled the room.

"S-so… when should we meet up…?" Tadano asked.

"Maybe… l-late morning… by the park at your place…?"

"Sure, that sounds good… Anyway, it's getting rather late, so we should head off now…"

"Alright, I should go off as well…" Ramorou, outside 3-1, lifted himself off his knees and swiftly and silently dashed down the hallway.

"So… Komi and Tadano are going on a date tomorrow?"

"That's all the information I gathered. They're probably on their way home now discussing their plans for the date…"

Ramorou turned to Yamai. She was losing hope and her levels of desperation had increased throughout the entire week.

"We really need one final solution to shut everything out for good…" Sonoda clamped his hands together and was in deep thought.

"Anyone have an idea?" Chiarai asked across the room to the large group of the Komi cult members. Most shook their heads, some were trying to think of a solution or anything that had a chance of working.

"There's virtually almost no hope for us. Every plan has failed and the two just seem even closer than ever…" Shinobino slumped back in his chair.

The room became filled with a desperate silence. Everyone wanted to say something to lift the mood or to provide a solution, but none had much courage or self-belief to do so.

"No one…?" Chiarai asked once more. Silence was the response.

"I guess that's it…" Sonoda let off a deep sigh.

Yamai was racking her brain for ideas. She couldn't let Tadano get away with dating Komi, ever. The sole thought of the couple ending up married would be the worst of her nightmares.

She felt something click in her head. It was a far-fetched idea, filled with hundreds of ways things could go wrong. The consequences of this plan failing were sky-high. It had to be as flawless as possible. Still, she decided to go for it in the end.

It sounds crazy, but we have no other choice. I can't just sit here and watch them…

"Chiarai?" Yamai finally broke the long silence.

"Huh…? Oh, uh, yeah? What is it?"

"Remember when we were discussing this situation last Saturday?"

"Uh… No not really…"

"Well, we were asking if the other had any plans to deal with this, right?"

"Yeah… What about it though…?"

"Do you remember the idea we said we never would have to come to?"

"Hm? What idea-... Oh." Chiarai's expression darkened a little. "Wait, don't tell me…"

"Yeah, that's what we need to do."

"Do you realise how high the stakes are, if we were to go through with this?" Chiarai was slightly stunned by Yamai's decision.

"I know. But it's our last solution, isn't it?"

"There are probably at least 3 other solutions we have at our disposal…"

"Probably. But can you provide them right now?"

"Well…"

An awkward silence followed. Everyone in the room was confused except Yamai and Chiarai. What on earth were they talking about?

"See? My point is proven. We don't have much left, honestly…"

"Sorry to interrupt, but… What's this idea you guys are discussing?" Shinobino asked out of curiosity. Everyone leaned in to hear it.

"Well…" Yamai slowly explained the plan she had in mind. When she had finished, the room was filled with an unsettling silence.

"That's… Well…"

"Chiarai's got a point. It's way too risky, honestly…"

"I think it's the best bet we have." Ramorou piped up. "Let's follow through with it."

Yamai smiled.

"Great… Now we just need to plan the execution phase of it…"

"We need someone to take the role though. Does anyone want to do it?" Sonoda asked the room full of students. No one was brave enough to step up to it.

"I will, then." Ramorou stood up. "I'll do it."

"Perfect. Thanks a lot, Ramorou-kun…"

"Don't thank me yet. We aren't sure if this plan will succeed yet until I've finished. You can trust that I'll do it as cleanly as I can, but whether I will finish him off… Well… that's not really easy. But I'm more than willing to do it."

The entire room seemed to have lit up a little.

"Alright then. Let's get to planning…"
