Ghost and Soap had made it out.

Ghost was shot in the arm only grazing him luckily, while Soap's right leg was grazed. The wounds this time were deeper then just flesh. Especially for Ghost.

There were now back at a safe place only the 141 knew just for if a team was to get compromised. Leave it to Graves and Shepard to be the first to do it.

Soap was the first to see him standing in the hallway before the emergency meeting in 5 minutes.

Just like Ghost, Soap was all bandaged up and already healing, but Soap's eyes did not have the optimism they usually had.

Ghost just couldn't seem to settle the anxiety and rage that filled his head since they fled. He only thought of every action that he did, what he could of done, what the result would be. He hated himself more then ever at this very moment. Most of all he hated how scared you looked, how you pleaded for them to run, the desperation in your voice hurt what cold heart he had. How he couldn't do anything to help! He hated how selfless you were in these situations and he just fucking left you there. You were now in the hands of the enemy.

"We left her there Johnny, who knows what Graves will do to her. " says Ghost letting his head drop.

Soap put a hand on his shoulder, "we will get her back, Alejandro too and the base."

He knew Alejandro could handle himself. He was a strong man, tough as nails and an even bigger stubborn ass. It was gonna be hard to get information out of him.

But you. You were strong. one of the strongest women, person he knew. And not just physically but mentally. He knew that getting things out of you would be hard for a normal person. What he was worried about was Graves. The way he was already using your body for his own pleasure IN FRONT of them made Ghost actually scared about what he would do to you behind closed doors. Graves didn't give a fuck about you, and that scared Ghost most. It made his blood boil just thinking about it. And another reason to get you out ASAP.

"What Graves said about (Y/N), is that true?" Asks Soap.

Ghost only lifts his head slightly looking Soap straight in the eyes, but enough emotion was there to tell Soap it was true. And Ghost was never a man of emotions.

"I had my suspicions" replied Soap

when it came to you, Ghost just simply caved. You were a beam of light and warmth that he hasn't seen in his life ever. And you were damn great at your job. He found himself looking at you often. Sometimes just to hear you talk to the team, or see you grab your food from the cafeteria, just going about your daily chores. He admired your skill and drive to do better and to be better. He was envious of the humanity you still had, to the light and happiness still in your voice. He was worried that would be gone soon.

He never pressed his feeling on to you strictly trying to keep it professional. He through the last thing you wanted was a man in your work place hitting on you. He didn't want to risk ending your friendship or hearing your repulsion when he told you. He doesn't know what he would do with himself when you rejected him.

Because he knew you didn't feel the same. You never showed any signs and only treated him like everyone else on your team, just as one of the boys.

You were warmth and light but what could he offer you other than coldness and baggage. Nothing you deserved that's for sure.

But now you were gone. Right in the heart of enemy operations. He had protected you countless times taking bullets for you. But he would do it again in a heart beat.

He let this happen, he let you slip away. If he had been more alert, If he had been faster, quicker or stronger. He could have gotten to you. It should have been him in your place not you. You didn't deserve the torture he knew you would endure.

Ghost knew he would do damn near anything to get you out. He needed you, even if you didn't need him. He didn't want to know how much losing you would break him.

"We will get her back Ghost, and we are going to plan exactly how to do it right now. So let's go." Said Soap walking down the hallway to the meeting room with Ghost following close behind.

They entered the room already seeing Captain Price, Laswell and Gaz discussing.

"Good to see you in one piece." Said Price,

Ghost only nodded he was ready for this mission to start. He wanted to get you out of there As soon as he could. He needed to get you out.

"First things first. Everything that is said and done in this room is under lock down." Started Laswell. "(Y/N) has been secretly working another mission for me as intel. She has gather information from each mission and has reported to me directly. She has secrets that even you boys don't even know and that is what Graves wants. She has secrets to bases and weapons and information that could crumble this organization if said to an enemy This is why we believe Shepard and Graves went rogue. According to our surveillance the base which Graves and his men now apprehend is under loads of security with nearly no loop holes" said Laswell.

Chaser working for Laswell directly? She was intel? That even made the stakes higher in Ghost's mind. She had information even he didn't have. Just how import was that information to Graves?

"Me, Gaz, Ghost, and Rodolfo, and soap will go in To the base. Rodolfo, Soap and Ghost will be one team to get Alejandro and (Y/N). Me and Gaz will take on the men from the outside. We will cover you while you infiltrate" said Price turning to Laswell.

"Which reminds me, the number of men they have is dwindling thanks to you two," gesturing to Ghost and Soap, "but their rotations are strict as of now, too strict to be able to infiltrate, which mean we have to wait about three days and see if they have let up."

"Three days?" Said Ghost almost having to take a step back, "that's to much time."

"Sorry Lieutenant but it's the best we can do to secure our safety and Alejandro's and (Y/N). Graves knows we are coming so we need to be prepared."

Laswell adds, "you're injured and you need to be fully operational to be able to get them out. Graves's men should not be taken lightly"

Ghost slams his hand on the table, "that not good enough! (Y/N) and Alejandro could be dead already."

"That's a risk we have to take." Replied Laswell arms crossed.

Ghost storms out of the room not wanting to hear the rest. He had heard enough. Apparently he had at least 3 days to figure out more of the plan.

Soap nods his head to Price and Laswell, " I've got him" and follows Ghost out.

Soap runs after Ghost who is now heading toward the dorms, "Ghost wait"

Ghost continues walking, "L.T would you listen!" Says Soap.

Ghost whirls around, "I did listen Johnny! And that plan is unacceptable"

"Ghost you are still hurt. You can't help (Y/N) if you're not at full power."

"I don't fucking care" yelled Ghost

"Well maybe you fucking should because you're not any use to (Y/N) if you're dead." Rage filled Soap's words and face.

"Think L.T. We know the Shadows and how they train. We have trained with them and know how strong they can be. We are greatly outnumbered and need to be alert."

Ghost exhaled, "I know Johnny. I'm trying."

He hung his head once more.

Soap placed a hand on Ghost's shoulder, "I want her safe too Ghost. We will get her back."

Ghost nodded shoving away from Soap's arm and heading to his room. He needed time to think and focus his mind, to rest. He just wanted to be alone.
