Chapter 1: To Sunny's We Shall Go

It was a nice Saturday afternoon in the A-Town. Everyone was doing their own thing in the city. Sunny had gone shopping for the afternoon, and went to visit some old friends. He had told Li'l D that he could visit his house as long as he was responsible.

"Man, I wonder what the other kids are up to," Li'l D thought.

He had wanted to do something cool for the Saturday afternoon. Nobody was around for the fun, though. Then he realized that everyone was around, they just needed to stop by his house. His house, Li'l D thought.

"I can go over to his house," Li'l D said. "As in Sunny's house. As in, make a platinum album in the recording studio. This rocks even mo' because I got the permission to go into his house," he finished.

Li'l D went to grab the telephone and proceeded with calling his friends. They all said that they would come around to see what he had in store for them. They arrived at Li'l D's house by the doorsteps, and Tamika banged on the door and gave the loudest, possible knock. She wasn't being mean, she was just getting his attention. He ran downstairs and opened the door and saw his friends exchanging smiling reactions to Li'l D's presence.

"Hey y'all, come on in," he welcomed them into his abode.

"So, why are we here, Li'l D?" Tamika asked.

"Yeah," Philly Phil agreed.

"Y'all know," Li'l D insisted.

"I am not sure if telling us on the phone to come-over-right-away-because I-got-the-coolest-idea counts as knowing what the heck is going on here, Kam exaggerated with his hands.

"Let him speak, guys!" Madison said.

"Well, I was thinking we can oh, maybe, head over to Sunny's place and play in his recording studio and do some other cool things," Li'l D explained.

"I don't know, I have a really bad feeling about this," Eddie said. "Remember the last time we went over to Sunny's when he wasn't home?"

Flashback to the whole plot of Nothin' to It But to Do It.

"Uh, that was different," Li'l D reassured. "I didn't know that Sunny's chores were super easy as pushing a few buttons."

Tamika exchanged dirty looks with Li'l D, still remembering the stress she had gone through that day.
"You caused me and ditzy-face over here to go through the bends!" She reminded him. Madison just looked at Tamika and exchanged a huge grin.

"Oh I was fine, I was just tied up in a silly knot," Madison snorted.

Tamika did an eye roll.

Everyone was reminded about the whole day of doing Sunny's chores, and their anger had surged towards Li'l D. He felt that they were cornering him, and so he put his foot down, and hands up in front of him.

"Guys, this is different. We don't have to make music this time, if y'alls don't wanna," Li'l D said.

"But, you just said-" Tamika tried to say, but was interrupted by Li'l D.

"I mean that we should try something different," he interrupted.

"Like what?" Kim asked.

"How about y'alls follow me and I'll show ya!" Li'l D said.

They followed suit with Li'l D who led them to Sunny's house. Li'l D tried to open Sunny's front door, but to no avail.

"Great, genius," Tamika insulted him. "Now what are you gonna do?"

"Hold up, Sunny gave me a key," Li'l D said.

"He gave YOU a key?" Tamika asked.

Li'l D took the key out of his pocket and flaunted it in front of Tamika. Tamika had a dirty look and had her fists up in the air. Kam quelled Tamika's anger.

"Now, now, Tamika has anger ever solved anything?" Kam asked.

"No, but he's already annoying me, fool!" Tamika answered.

"So why did he give you a key, Li'l D?" Eddie asked.

"Well," he explained.

Flashback to Li'l D the previous week incessantly wearing Sunny down every chance he had. The two are in the school hallway.

"Alright, alright! Boy, you sure know how to wear somebody down!" Sunny said.

"Yeah, I get that a lot," Li'l D chuckled.

"Here's a key to my house. Now listen to me now Li'l D," Sunny said kneeling towards him.

"I need you to be ABSOLUTELY responsible. Don't lose this key or mess up my home," he explained.

"One question," Li'l D spoke.

Sunny rolled his eyes while still kneeling by Li'l D's ear.

"What is it?" he folded his arms.

"Can I invite my friends? Please?" Li'l D pleaded.

"Yes, you can-" Sunny said.

"YES! This is so awesome! We gon' go to the studio, cut an album there-" Li'l D said.

"Slam on your breaks now, boy," Sunny said.

Li'l D immediately stopped and turned to Sunny.

"I need you to be extra responsible, absolutely no screw ups in the house, of any kind!" Sunny explained.

"You have my word, Sunny. No screw ups," Li'l D drew an "x" on his heart.

"Good," Sunny said.

Sunny walked away expecting something to go wrong.

"How do I ever end up in these situations?" He thought.

End of flashback.

"That's not important. Just know I got it," he reassured.

"Well, I'm down for doing whatever," Philly Phil said.

"Great, follow me!" Li'l D said.

He took the friends to Sunny's kitchen.

"Ta-da!" He said.

The friends looked beyond him and were confused.

Part 2: Ice Cream Volcano

"I don't get it, what's so special about a kitchen?" Madison asked while scratching her head.

Li'l D was surprised at everyone's reactions, he grunted and gasped at hearing them.

"Ugh! Don't you know whose kitchen this is?" Li'l D asked frustratingly.

"Sunny's?" Philly Phil responded.

"Yeah, and we can make whatever we want in here!" Li'l D said. "What's something delicious that everyone wants?"

"Ooh, ooh!" Madison raised her hand. "Pick me, pick me!"

"Madison?" Li'l D picked.

"I always wanted to make an ice cream sundae with my buddies," she said while hugging Philly Phil and Eddie.

"An ice cream sundae?" Li'l D said. "You can pick anything and we're just making a regular ice cream sundae?"

"How about an ice cream volcano?" Li'l D offered.

"What's that?" Philly Phil asked.

"Exactly how it sounds, y'all," Li'l D explained. "We make a regular ice cream sundae like Madison suggested and we make it act like a real volcano."

"But where are we going to find lava?" Kim asked.

"No, no," Li'l D put his hands up. "Chocolate syrup is going to be lava!"

"One we can eat!" Li'l D said.

"Oh," Kim said. "Well, I'm sure Sunny has some in the fridge."

Philly Phil was already in the fridge when the gang looked at him, his face stuffed with expensive sushi and the finest of cold cuts. He looked back at his friends with food stuffed into his cheeks.

"What?" he said with his cheeks stuffed like a chipmunk.

Eddie did an eye-roll. The gang watched with their mouths slightly ajar.

"OK, y'all, I'll get some syrup from the fridge," Eddie said.

"Let me do it," Philly Phil insisted.

"Nah, I'll do it. You'll probably eat the syrup!" Eddie reassured.

Eddie had reached for the chocolate syrup on the top shelf, he was too short though.

"This is why I do these things," Philly Phil said as he grabbed the chocolate syrup and gave it to Eddie.

"OK, so now we got the chocolate syrup," Li'l D said.

"Madison grab the ice cream," Li'l D ordered.

"Kam, grab a big bowl," he said.

The two went to grab the items, and brought them back to Sunny's kitchen table.

"Now what?" Kim asked.

"Let's start with the ice cream volcano," Li'l D said.

"Oh boy!" Madison exclaimed. "Let me help, Li'l D!"

"OK, Madison, you get the strawberry ice cream opened up while I open the chocolate syrup," Li'l D said.

Madison opened up the strawberry ice cream canister and started to fill a large bowl with ice cream. When Madison was done scooping every last bit of ice cream out of the canister, Philly Phil meld it into the shape of a volcano, but it was kind of dinky.

"I know, let's add more! Kam, go get three more canisters and Madison will open them up," Li'l D ordered.

Kam went to grab more strawberry ice cream. He brought back five more canisters from Sunny's freezer.

"I hope Sunny doesn't mind we are doing this, Li'l D," Kam expressed.

"Don't worry, he won't, because it's not gonna be messy at all," Li'l D explained.

"Famous last words," Tamika muttered.

"Girl, whatchu talkin' 'bout?!" Li'l D challenged.

"I'm just sayin' what if this whole plan backfires?" Tamika asked.

"It aint so stop it y'all! We got this under control!" Li'l D said.

"I trust Li'l D this time around, he does have a spare key to Sunny's, that's pretty trustworthy of Sunny," Philly Phil defended. "I don't even have one."

"Hmm, well Philly Phil does have a point," Eddie thought. "Maybe we should trust him. After all, he does get us out of situations when he does mess up!"

Everyone was in agreement to help out Li'l D. The kids all worked together to make the pink volcano by pouring stuff into it and the bowl. Madison opened up the other canisters of strawberry ice cream and Eddie helped to wipe each one clean, Li'l D poured in some chocolate syrup, Kim added some sprinkles, Kam and Philly Phil poured in some baking powder and molten chocolate lava into the hole of the volcano, Tamika added whipped cream to the edges of the bowl and to the top of the volcano for decorative purposes.

"OK, genius, so now what do we do?" Tamika asked Li'l D.

"We grab our bowls and wait for the chocolate syrup to spew out like a volcano would with lava," Li'l D explained.

"Oh boy, that sounds really messy, Li'l D," Kim added.

"It'll be fine, girl twin," Li'l D answered.

"Please don't call me that," Kim said annoyed.

Li'l D just shot a cheeky smile back in return while Kim gave him a death stare.

Li'l D grabbed his heart and blinked quickly in return. Then the kids heard a rumbling sound.

"What was that?!" Tamika asked angrily as she dropped what she was doing.

"Guhhhhh, anybody else hear that?" Philly Phil asked his friends.

"What?" Eddie said in response.

He listened as well as his friends, the rumbling sound was coming from the ice cream volcano. Oh boy.

"Yo, if I didn't know any better, I'd say that's our sundae in the volcano arguing with it!" Li'l D exclaimed. "Quick, y'all! Grab y'allz bowls and capture the ice cream as it leaks out of the volcano."

The volcano started to rumble louder and louder. Kim took a look inside the volcano and saw fizzing.

"Oh…. brother," Kim said frightened.

"I'm right here you know," Kam replied.

(A/N: YEAH that's right….I just threw in a cheesy joke, whatya gon' do?)

"No, dummy, not you, brother, brother as in…OH NO" Kim replied back.

Kam was insulted and scoffed.

"Well Kim, what is it?" Eddie asked.

"Um…..I saw…..fizzing inside the volcano," she said with an arm on her back moving up and down.

"That can't be good," Eddie said.

He had a look for himself and his eyes nearly bulged out his head.

"Guys, take a bowl and try to take cover," He said quietly.

"What?!" Tamika asked while putting a hand behind her ear.

"TAKE COVER!" Eddie yelled.

"Dang Eddie, I didn't know you had it in you to do that," Li'l D said.

The rumbling grew louder and KABOOM. The ice cream sundae volcano imploded and spewed chocolate syrup all over the place in an upward fashion. Chocolate syrup and bits of ice cream were all over Sunny's kitchen. Ice cream dripped from the counters, chocolate syrup oozed from the AC vents. By that point, everyone's bowls were full of chocolate syrup, but they were not having fun one bit.

"Ahhhhhhhhh!" They all screamed.

Each one bolted out of Sunny's kitchen before a single millisecond could pass in time. Everyone gathered in the hall. Eddie was covered with ice cream and sprinkles, Kim and Kam had chocolate syrup all in their hair and clothes, Philly Phil was covered in whipped cream, Tamika was covered in sprinkles and chocolate syrup, Madison was covered in hot fudge, and Li'l D had everything on him.

"AH! My hair will be dirty for weeks!" Kim exclaimed while pinching her hair.

"Yuck, this stuff is stickkkkyyy," Kam said yanking at his shirt.

"You guys think you have it bad," Li'l D reassured. "Whatta bout me?"

"Li'l D! What have you done?!" Tamika screamed at him.

"Best. Sundae. Ever." Li'l D said in remark and licked some whipped cream off his face.

Everyone gave him death stares.

"Oh my gosh, what are we gonna do now?" Eddie asked.

"I say we just sneak away and pretend we had nothing to do with this," Li'l D said.

"We can't just LEAVE the place like this, Li'l D," Kam shrieked.

"We can't clean it up either," Philly Phil reassured Kam by putting a hand on his shoulder.

Tamika grabbed Li'l D by the shirt and shoved a fist into his face.

"You BETTER come up with a good plan on how to fix this. You got us into this mess and now, YOU. ARE. GONNA. GET. US. OUT. OF. IT," she threatened him.

She ceased her grip on his shirt and he caught his breath.

"Don't worry, y'all," Li'l D said reassuringly as he put his hands up. "Let's clean it up."

Everyone groaned and headed back to the kitchen. They grabbed brooms and mops and paper towels and sponges and scraped the floor. Scrubbed it. Cleaned it. Everyone was exhausted after the job.

"Whew! This is even worse than that time I had to sweep the floor at the Westley auditorium for those upper class people," Eddie described.

"Good job, y'all, and absolutely nobody got into trouble for this! I'm saved!" Li'l D said.

Kim walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder.

"I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but shouldn't all of our behinds be saved? That's numéro uno, y numéro dos, look up at the vents," she said.

"What?! Man, I can't believe this," Li'l D exclaimed. "Well, we have to clean it, now."

Everyone took the mops, the brushes, the scrubbers, and yadda yadda yadda cleaned it up.

"Whoo, done!" Philly Phil said.

"Yeesh, now, we have to clean ourselves," Kam said.

And that's just what they did, they pretended like the ice cream sundae debacle in Sunny's kitchen never happened. Just as the kids left his house, Sunny arrived back home in his jaguar. He got out of his car, took his keys, and went into the house. It was super hot outside, so he decided to turn on the AC vents. He sniffed the air around him.

"Why do I smell chocolate syrup?" He asked himself while he was sitting on the couch. "Eh, probably nothing."

He grabbed a newspaper on the desk and started to read as he sipped hot tea.

The kids were on their way home and sniffed the air. For they also smelled chocolatey syrup aroma.

"Hey, is that chocolate syrup I smell?" Kam sniffed.

"Hey, you know something I think you right," Li'l D replied.

"You don't think we left residual chocolate syrup in the vents did we?" Eddie asked.

"Well, one thing for sure," Li'l D said with his arms up in an x-crossing motion, "we pretend it didn't happen."

The friends all agreed and went on their merry way.

First short story! I know it was kind of long, I'm sorry. I feel like is dying out and Class of 3000 needs more love. I will be adding chapters and they will be the "short stories" part of this fanfiction title. I know, I know. I stink at imagining what these characters would do. However, if you actually like the way I portray everyone be sure to R&R! Byee!
