It is a story about Liz being confused in what she needs to make her life better for herself and her children. She goes to think and gets hurt. She ends up in a coma. She gets a chance to see three different lives with three different men. Jason is there too. He is in a coma over in Greece. Everyone still believes he has died. I do not own the characters. They belong to ABC/Disney and General Hospital.
Liz was feeling a bit confused about her life. She decided that she needed to take a drive and clear her head. She went to the one spot that meant the world to her when she was with Jason. It was somewhere he brought her when they went for rides on his motorcycle.
She walked over to the bridge and watched the water below her. It was a week before Christmas, and she was not sure which way she needed to go with her life. She had reached the end of the bridge when she thought she saw someone.
She ran into the woods, tripped over a branch, and fell into the snow. No one knew where she had gone, and Cam was getting worried about his mother. He called the hospital and talked to Epiphany. She said that her mother was going for a drive to clear her head and go home.
Cam tried to think of where his mother would go. Drew stopped over at that time and asked if Cam had seen his mother. "I am trying to figure out where she would go to clear her head. She has been gone a long time and I am worried about her. Nurse Johnson told me about her going to clear her head."
"I have an idea where she went. I will check where Jason used to take her riding. I still have some of his memories and that spot is one of them. I will call you when I get there and if she is there, I will talk to her."
Cam thanked Drew and went to check on his brothers. Drew drove to "Nowhere" and saw her car parked there. It had been there for a while due to the snow that had fallen on it. He got a chill and took off towards the bridge. He walked to the other side and was not sure where to go. He could feel a presence around him. He walked towards the trees. He had not gone far into the tree line when he saw her unconscious in the snow. He felt for a pulse, and it was faint, but it was there.
Drew called 911 and asked for life flight. Drew told them how far into the tree line she was, and he went out to find a spot to help the helicopter land. It was about ten minutes later when the helicopter landed. The two doctors on-board were ready to take her and bring her to Port Charles. Finn was one of the doctors and the other was Austin.
Drew watched the helicopter take off and he called Cam to tell him that his mother was being flown to General Hospital. He thanked Drew and got his brothers and headed for the hospital. Drew got to his SUV and headed down to the hospital too. When he got to the hospital, Elizabeth was in the ICU and being warmed up.
Finn went over to thank Drew for finding Elizabeth. "I honestly believe that if you had not gotten there when you did and called Life Flight, she would not be alive right now. I think she may have had an hour left if that. She is in a coma and the next 24 hours should tell us whether she will make it."
Drew went over to Cam, Jake, and Aiden. "I believe she will be okay. We just need to believe it. We need to pray for her. I do believe that she has someone looking out for her. I felt someone guiding me to her. We know what a clutz your mother is, and she tripped on some branches and knocked herself out."
The boys thanked Drew and they sat in the chapel for a little while praying for their mother.
Elizabeth knew where she was the minute her eyes opened. She saw her grandfather, Steve and her best friend, Emily. Lila was also there watching over Elizabeth and Jason.
"Okay. This is for both of you. You are both here, but you are also still alive down there. I know that this is hard to understand, but when you are in a coma, you can be in both places. Everyone has believed that you are dead Jason. You saved everyone at the compound, but they believe you died saving them. Drew is back home and is torn about your death. Now, the good thing is someone here will be able to bring you home. Jason you are in a hospital close to the compound in a coma. You were saved, but no one told your family in Port Charles. They plan on using you to get back at your family and friends."
Jason looked at Elizabeth when she started to laugh. "I was being a clutz like I always do. I told Epiphany that I was going to take a drive to clear my head. I went up to "Nowhere." I walked over to the bridge; the snow was starting to fall. It was beautiful and peaceful. I was thinking about you, my sons, and my life. I was not sure what I wanted. I then felt myself being drawn to the other side of the bridge. I went over to the other side and saw something. I thought I saw someone, and I ran after him or her. I tripped on a tree branch and the next thing I know, I am here."
Emily laughed. "I am sorry. You saw me and then you fell. I sometimes go down there to see where my friends are, and I hope you are not mad. When you got hurt, Cam realized it first. Drew stopped over to see you and Cam told him what was going on. Cam called Epiphany and she said that you went to clear your head. Drew figured it was "Nowhere." I guess we should be happy that Drew still has some of Jason's memories."
Steve went over to his granddaughter. "I want you to know that I have been watching over you and have been extremely impressed in how you have managed things since I died. Your grandmother did her best, but we know it could have been different if I was still there. I want you to think about your best life for you. Think about how you would live it if you had the chance to do it. There would be no money problems to make you choose one life or another. I have three doors for you to open and you can see how your future will change for the better. It is all up to you. I know that before any of them happen you need to help the father of your son. He needs his father like you did. I am sorry that he turned on you, your siblings. He is just like your mother. No one comes first before them. It will be like you are watching a movie, but it could be your life. Lila will be in one of the rooms with you. Emily will be in another room, and I will be in the last room. This is so you can ask questions if you need too."
"Jason you will have the same chances as Elizabeth. Lila will be in one room, Emily will be in another room, and your father in the last room." The two of them looked at each other and realized that some changes needed to be made and that the important thing was the children were happy too.
