Hi.
So, this is my first Naruto fanfiction. I have not completed it yet – not even properly started it yet. But I just can't wait to get some reviews on it. I have been writing this for around five months now and I have barely finished seven or eight chapters. I was originally going to publish it once the story was almost complete – and that is still the plan except that now I am releasing the prologue to get some response because I will probably burst of impatience if I don't.
Please don't, and I mean don't, pester me for uploads until chapter 1 is released. Because I will not be publishing anything at least until I have typed out till the time skip. But, after that, you can harass me all you want – I would probably need you all to motivate me (note the sarcasm) to move my lazy ass.
Another thing, this is not a completely original story and I take no copyrights till I get this done my way. This is a rewrite of another Naruto fanfiction 'The Princess of Konoha' by BloodRed13. Read it, it's awesome. It also has a sequel, 'The Sealmaster of Konoha', but sadly, it was abandoned (apparently). I really liked the idea and planned to write my own story on it, and here it is. I gotta tell you that I haven't yet taken permission from the original author. I mean, I was going to, but after I would have finished the half of the story. But I got impulsive, and now I will PM her (?) after I publish the prologue.
But even if this is a rewrite, it will not be exactly the same. A lot of things are changed and at the point I am in this story right now, only the base plot is same (at least as much as it was given in the original story). I will ask for permission, and if I don't get any response – which I am 90% sure I won't – before I post the rest of the chapters, I will finish the story. But if the author asks me to take it down before that, I would have to do that. And I have a gut feeling that if she (?) does reply, she will ask me to delete it. So, let's cross our fingers and hope she doesn't.
And at last, don't expect any updates within next six months. This is supposed to be an epic length story and I am in my final year. I have my first semester exams starting this week and finals in April. I don't think I will have finished more than chunin exams by then. This chapter is just my impatient and impulsive (and stressed due to exams) ass getting off of stupidity. But please review.
