Soon at the power plant. "So what we dealing with Rich ?" Static asks, flying next to Gear. "We are dealing with Livewire" Gear answers. "Livewire ? But doesn't Superman usually deal with her ?" Static asks.

"Yes but luckily Batman made a device to trap her" Gear says. He takes the device out of his belt. "Let's get this over with. I have something important with Frieda to do" Static states.

Soon inside the power plant, it was dark and eerie as Static and Gear walked down the hallway to the generators where Livewire was most likely to be.

Gear slightly opened the door to the generators room. "There she is" He said pointing to her. She was sucking up electricity from the generators. "I got the device ready. All we got to do is suck her in it" Gear finish.

They busted throw the door. Livewire looked up from what she was doing. "Why isn't it Sparky and Go Go Gadget" Livewire said. "It's Inspector Gadget" Gear quips back at her.

If it wasn't for his situation with Frieda, Virgil would of thought it was cool fighting a Superman villain, but he couldn't focus on Livewire.
"You absorb her power well I sneak up behind her and suck her up in this device" Gear whispered to Static.

"Like a putting a genie in a bottle. Got it" Static says as he charges up his powers, electricity crackly around his arms.

Static's mind started to wonder. I'm having a baby with Frieda What are we going to do ? he thought to himself.
"Static look out!" Gear shouted. "Ahh" Static was hit by a bolted of electricity. "What's the matter Sparky can't take the heat ?" Livewire taunt. Static didn't notice how close she had gotten.

"You okay man ?" Gear asks concern. "You seem out of it. You need to get your head in the game"
"I'm fine Gear" Static said a bit annoyed. He wasn't fine, he was worried about him and Frieda. He picked himself off the ground. "Now electric lady you're not getting the best of me next time"

"We'll see about that" Livewire said as she charged up her powers. livewire struck another bolt at Static but this time he absorbs the electricity.
While she was distracted Gear throw the device at Livewire trapping her.

"It's a good thing you trap her when you did. I got too much extra electricity from her, I'm going to have to burn it off"

Later at Virgil's house. Virgil walked through his front door. "Hey Pops" Virgil greets his dad. Robert was watching the news. "Oh hey Virgil. Your friend is waiting for you in your room" Robert said.

"Thanks pops" Virgil rushed up the stair to his room. Frieda was laying his bed reading a comic. "Hey Frieda, I'm back from hero biz" He states. Frieda puts down the comic on the bed and sits up. Virgil sits next to her.

"I've been thinking about our jobs and this baby. You want to be a scientist, doctor and comic writer and I want to be a news reporter. What if we can't get our dream jobs ?" Frieda said very worried.

"Don't worry Frieda" Virgil put his hand on her shoulder. "We'll still get our dream jobs and be great parents. I'll just get some jobs to support us until then". He said reassuring her.

"You never did answer my question ?" She told him in a teasing way. "Boy or girl ?" They both had big smiles but right as Virgil was about to answer Pops shouts.

"Hey Virgil, you need to come down you have some visitors" Virgil's dad shouted with a concern tone. "I'll be right back"

When Virgil got to the last set on the stairs he saw Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent and John Stewart siting on the couch and Wally West leaning on the couch next to them. After helping The Justice League for years Virgil has gotten to know them closer including their secret identities.

They looked serious about something which worried him. They came to him in his home in their normal citizen clothes nice suits instead of contracting him throw his Justice League con link which concerned him even more.

"What are you guys doing here ?" He asks. "I'll give you some space" Pops said as he left for the kitchen.

"Virgil, we need your help" Bruce told him in a serious tone. "The Earth's Zeta beams are broken" he continued. "We need you to charge them with your powers" he said.

"Usually, we have Black Lightning charge them but he's at Rann charging their Zeta Beams" Clark said.

"We believe someone is missing with the Zeta Beams" Bruce said. " I can help" Virgil states. "Okay but you might get stuck on the Watchtower for a while" Wally states casually.

"I'll help ,let me get my super suit" Virgil says as he's about to go up the stairs. "Wait why aren't you guys in your suits ?" He asks. "We just came back from a charity fundraiser gala and we left our things in the Zeta beams tunnels which won't open with the Zeta beams being down" Bruce explained.

Virgil went back to his room to talk to Frieda and get his suit. He was worried about being done from Frieda for awhile. What if I miss her whole pregnancy He though to himself.

"Hey Frieda I need to talk to you about something" He said walking into his room. "Yea what's up ? Is it League stuff" She asks. They sit on Virgil's bed. Virgil grabbed Frieda's hands to hold them.

"Yeah it's League stuff" He confirmed. League stuff was code with his friends and Pops that he had to work with The Justice League. Hero biz and hero stuff was also code when he had to be Static.

"Listen Frieda" He continued. "I'm going to be very busy with The Justice League but I promise I will be there for you" He said. "Don't worry Virgil I know you'll be there for me" She said.

"Yeah, but The League is having problems powering their Zeta beams so I'm going to on the Watchtower alot" He says worried "It's okay Virgil I understand why you're late to things and why you miss things. You're a hero and you're saving people. Do what you gotta do to save people" Frieda now reassuring him.

Being late to things and missing things was why Daisy broke up with him. He was heartbroken for months. He deeply cared about Daisy, but he couldn't tell her his sceret identity fearing it could put her in more danger than she already was.

"Plus you're with The Justice League and on the Watchtower that's so cool" Frieda went on. "Thanks for understanding" He told her.

beep! beep!

Frieda's watched beeped. It was 6:30. "I have to go home it's dinner time" Frieda says as she goes for the door. "Be careful out there with The League" She states. "What ? I'm always careful" Virgil says "When am I not careful ?" He says in a playful manner.

"You were literally thrown into a building yesterday" Frieda says slightly serious but still playful. "Yeah but that wasn't my fault" He says. "We had to take glass out your back" She tells him back.

"Just be careful" she leaves. Virgil was glad Frieda was supportive of him being a superhero but he knew she was worried about him getting hurt or getting killed.

Don't worry Frieda I'll be there for you during our pregnancy. I'll be careful and I won't get hurt He thought to himself.
