Whenever the clocked chimed six,

No matter where he was,

He would rush to the television.

Turning it on he would see every character of the team,

Joking, laughing, having a good time, even though all were sometimes not present.

One especially stood out:

Light brown hair, ruby eyes, a kind smile,

She stood out because...well...she just did.

She didn't like fighting like him, she had an older brother--just like him,

There were more reasons, so much more,

So many, he couldn't name them all.

Some were pointless, like the color of her bed sheet,

Others were more believable, like the way they both fought for what they thought was right.

Jenrya told no one about his crush,

Not Rinchei, not Shuichon, not Jaarin--no one.

So instead he sat there, watching her.

He liked every character, but liked her more,

Even though he knew she might not like him back.

He wasn't even sure she knew he existed.

After all, the show starred people who now were old.

At least they never showed her husband.

Funny how a simple crush can affect you.

Jenrya wasn't sure when he began liking her.

Maybe it was during the Vamdemon arc.

Or maybe when she appeared a couple years older.

He would never know.

But he had to get over it.

Impossible.

He had fallen too hard for her,

Even though she didn't like him back.

Or knew he existed.

He had fallen in love with a girl,

A girl named--

--Yagami Hikari.
