Disclaimer: This story is a Side Story to Yu-Gi-Oh! Dragon Knight Reborn! I do not own Kamen Rider Decade or any Kamen Rider Series. Characters may be SLIGHTLY OOC due to the story and events. I do own an OC in this story but I will not say who yet.

Chapter 11.5: World of Onis
Kaito watches as it seems Tsukasa lost. He uses this chance to sneak away for his real goal. Dragonic watches with his arms crossed, knowing the fight is far from over.
''I-'' Kabuto begins to proclaim his victory only to get cut short by Decade's voice taunting him. ''Not good enough Tendo!''
Kabuto staggers looking ahead and sees a glow through the forest.
''SUPER KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade emerges, transformed into Kiva's tripled Arms Monsters form. Decade-Kiva's left arm is now the Garulu Arm, his right arm is now the Basshaa Arm, and his upper body is now the Dogga chest. ''KIVA DOGABAKI!''
''With this, I settle this fight.'' Decade-Kiva proudly declares his win. Dragonic sighs thinking that actually got Tsukasa but that form; it's too slow for Kabuto. There's no way Tsukasa can keep up with Kabuto like this.
Kabuto dashes at the transformed Decade with Clock Up, about to attack him until once he reaches his area, he finds himself slowing down and then unable to move.
''Nani?'' Kabuto utters looking down to notice the ground is covered in some kind of sticky-like pond of water on his feet. This is sadly all the time Clock Up had as it turns off.
''CLOCK OVER!'' The Kabuto Zecter announces as time resumes for Kabuto. Decade-Kiva scoffs as he twirls the Basshaa Arm's bubble-like water gun and fires piercing bubble attacks, sparks flying out from Kabuto. Decade-Kiva comes at him, literally ice skating on the sticky water pond as he swings and slashes Kabuto with the Garulu Saber. Further sparks fly out from Kabuto but not before Decade-Kiva then swings the Dogga Hammer, sending Kabuto flying backwards through multiple trees and hitting the ground hard.
''Clock Up is a powerful ability, but I know how to counter it.'' Decade-Kiva illuminates the flaw of Clock Up as he approaches his opponent. Kabuto rolls backwards, grunting as he struggles to get on one knee up.
Dragonic watches as it seems Tsukasa has won… until suddenly manifesting before Kabuto is the Hyper Zecter. Decade pauses as the dragon quickly warns him unease. ''Tsukasa, careful! This is where the real fight begins!''
However before anything could happen, Kabuto swipes away the Hyper Zecter as it vanishes. This shocks Decade and Dragonic as he tries uttering out. ''Why did you just-?''
Kabuto didn't answer, slamming his right hand on his waist as the Kabuto Zecter declares. ''CLOCK UP!''
He dashes at Decade-Kiva, slamming powerful kicks or punches but none of the attacks did anything to Kiva's buff super form. Decade easily repels with the Dogga Hammer as Kabuto dodges it but not once getting his feet stuck on sticky water that Decade-Kiva fires from the Basshaa Gun. Decade-Kiva tosses aside both weapons before thrusting the Final Attack Ride card into the belt.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade-Kiva leaps upward with the right leg's chains breaking free, releasing the demonic bat wings and he descends downward at an immovable Kabuto as a rider kick. ''KIVA!''
Everyone watches as Decade has won… until something in Tsukasa told him this was not a win and immediately thrusts his kick onto the ground before Kabuto, leaving the Kiva mark before it changes into the Decade one and vanishes.
Dragonic sighs hoping he did that while everyone is horrified by what just happened. Decade-Kiva reverts back to regular Decade, looking down at the free Kabuto.
''I refuse to win without beating you at your full power.'' Decade tells him off, refusing to win like this. Destroyer or not, he wants to win his way not by someone holding themselves back. Kabuto stands up, staring at Decade walking away.
''There is nothing wrong with imitating a person…'' Decade staggers turning to face back at Kabuto having said that as he reverts back to Tendo, adding. ''As long as it's to find who you really are.''
''You…'' Decade utters out looking upon the untransformed rider. Tendo just stares at this destroyer, learning much from their small clash and how he too wishes to fight him at full power.
''I wish to truly finish our fight when you show me how much stronger you could be as Kabuto, Decade.'' Tendo tells him honestly. ''When you do, I too will not hold back.''
Decade stares at him, realizing why he didn't use that thing that appeared; he refused to fight him in full power like that.
Tendo, smiling, turns around. He begins walking as he raises his right hand with his right finger up to the sky and declares. ''Until we walk under the same sun, Decade.''
Decade did not reply back watching him leave. That man…
Dragonic flies up next to him and says with a small grin. ''He's not wrong.''
Decade looks at the dragon and scoffs aware he's not wrong. Still, facing Tendo again; he'll need a strategy for that day.
Suddenly a commotion interrupts the moment. Decade and Dragonic turn to see Kaito, now transformed as Diend with his summoned Den-O on his side as he attacks the two headmasters of the Oni schools.
''I've had enough. I'm taking the scrolls.'' Diend declares as his Den-O summoned comes at Kamen Riders Ibuki and Zanki. Ibuki blows through his trumpet gun while Zanki unleashes energy waves from his guitar weapon. Den-O panics, dodging around the attacks just barely.
''Oni vs Oni then.'' Diend declares twirling his Diendriver as he pulls out a Final Form Ride card and slides it in, loading it.
''FINAL FORM RIDE! DEN-O MOMOTAROS!'' The Diendriver announces as Diend fires a shot at Den-O, immediately transforming the rider into its Momotaros form. The Imagin starts fighting the Onis, easily brushing backwards hard. He chuckles excitedly until a Makamou that was Hibiki emerges from the woods attacks him.
''Hey, what gives ass-'' The fake Momotaros begins demanding until the demon literally grabs and thrusts the Imagin through multiple trees before having his head smashed onto a rock.
''OW…'' The Imagin utters before vanishing. The Makamou cries out gazing at Diend.
''What the hell are you?'' Diend questions but the demon comes at him, slashing him with his claws before he could reply. Sparks fly out from Diend as the monster punches him into a tree. He falls forwards, grunting.
The Makamou howls until he's kicked forward by Decade.
''Serves you right Kaito.'' Decade taunts the seemingly beaten thief for his attempt. He now turns facing the monster now having its attention focused on him.
Decade scoffs pulling out a rider card and thrusts it into the belt.
''KAMEN RIDE! RYUKI!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade transforms into Ryuki. Decade-Ryuki engages the Makamou with both the Ride Booker's sword form and Ryuki's sword. Both blades slash down the monster with fierce swings, sparks flying out of it. The demon howls trying to slash him but Decade-Ryuki blocks and repels its claws back hard, slashing it harder.
Dragonic watches, puzzled why a demon is attacking at a time like this and then he starts sensing its aura if it was searching for food for its parent… and there the dragon widens his eyes of who this demon is.
The Makamou falls backwards as Decade-Ryuki walks forward to finish things until Dragonic appears right in front of him, slamming his tail on his chest to push him back.
''Wait Tsukasa-kun! You-'' The dragon tries to reason with him but Decade sees Asumu just coming out and approaches the monster. He grabs the dragon by its tail and tosses him away.
''Get out of my way Dragonic!'' Decade tells him off trying to stop Asumu as the Makamou suddenly tries to attack him until both Akira and Todoroki, transformed into Ibuki and Zanaki, protect Asumu in the last moments.
''Nice timing.'' Decade states quickly sliding a card into his belt and pushing its handles.
''KAMEN RIDER! DEN-O!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade transforms into Den-O and immediately slides in another card.
''FORM RIDE! AX FORM!'' The belt proclaims as Decade-Den-O changes into its Ax form, wielding the DenGasher Ax form. The Makamou roar out charging as Decade blocks the bash with his left arm bash followed by swinging the ax and sparks flying out from the monster. It cries in agony as Decade foot stomps the monster onto a tree.
Decade reverts back to regular form, wiping his hands together before pulling out the Final Attack Ride card.
''Finisher.'' He declares tossing the card into the air and it falls into his belt, glowing as he pushes its handles.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as 10 Holographic Rider cards manifest as Decade jumps up as the cards following him, still aiming at the monster. He lets out a shout performing his Rider Kick at the Makamou. ''DECADE!''
Dragonic watches and instantly places his right index and middle finger claws over his forehead. He vanishes instantly and reappears behind the Makamou. The dragon watches Decade, stunned, unable to stop his attack but then the dragon lifts up his right claw foot, flames erupting around him. He's shot upward at Decade as he shouts. ''DRAGONAUN IMPACT!''
Decade startles as both their kicks connect and release a burst of energy but Dragonic's was larger, taking on the form of a dragon's head before it overcomes Decade and explodes. Everyone one else braces themselves with Diend watching.
''W-what power…'' He mutters out getting up and uses this chance to take the unprotected scrolls.
Dragonic emerges brushing off the damage by adjusting his blazer. Tsukasa, on the ground, groans untransformed and grunting by the power of the dragon's attack. That hurt more than probably Kabuto's Rider Kick and he could still tell the dragon was holding back too.
''What the hell was that for Dragonic? Why did you just-'' Tsukasa, pulling himself up, complains, pissed off by why he got in his way. Dragonic descends in front of him and literally pulls him up fully with the tip of his tail. Tsukasa glares not needing his help still wanting to know what the hell was-
''That was Hibiki, Tsukasa-kun!'' Tsukasa startles, turning to see it was Natsumi calling him out as she helps walk Yusuke still injured. Tsukasa looks back as the Makamou runs off. He watches, now getting the gist of Hibiki's laidback nature.
During the commotion, Diend was able to steal the two scrolls with Tendo watching, not planning to get in his way as things will play out fine.
Later that night, after talking to Asumu, Akira and Todoroki confront their mentors to put aside their differences, with Tsukasa supporting them. After hearing them out and realizing their own mistakes, not trusting each other, Ibuki and Zanki promote their students to the role of new teachers of their respective schools as well as their Onsa putting their trust in them. Both Akira and Todoroki accept the promotion to lead their schools, wanting nothing but peace.
While that was going on, Natsumi and Yusuke explained to Tsukasa and Dragonic what they saw when Hibiki tried to help him, even transformed but could not control his powers, turning himself into a Makamou. Then he attacked Yusuke and easily overpowered him.
''I see now. Hibiki can no longer control his Oni's powers.'' Dragonic concludes now, getting it. He has heard that Oni Riders will eventually need to pass down their title and powers to their students due to old age, about to die… or turning into the very thing they fight for on the rarest of conditions..
Tsukasa eyes the dragon now getting why he knew so much and tried to stop him.
''And you sensed what it was.'' He says, confirming his suspicions. Dragonic nods clarifying it. ''I sensed his aura, the once pure human aura tainted by the mad beast of a Makamou.''
Tsukasa eyes him, recalling the aura part from before. Dragonic is rather strange and unique with his large number of techniques.
Dragonic eyes Tsukasa and states going back to his last judgement he gave to Hibiki before. ''Like you said Tsukasa-kun, you can't judge a book by its cover.''
Tsukasa scoffs a bit admitting so. Natsumi eyes him and asks. ''What should we do then, Tsukasa-kun?''
He thinks for a second before answering as he looks at Asumu congratulating his friends. ''We do what we can. Asumu admires and believes in Hibiki, we don't let that image shatter.''
Natsumi smiles, glad he thinks so too. Yusuke sighs of relief glad he thinks so.
The group decides to confront Hibiki alone but of course he knew they would want questions. Hibiki reveals the nature of Gyuki, the Makamou, that he is becoming and there is nothing he can do to stop the demon from fully taking control of both his body and soul.
Tsukasa begins to state that there is never such a thing as giving up but before he could say anything more, Daiki arrives to claim the last scroll.
''Kaito, you just don't-'' Tsukasa starts arguing at the thief for his selfish acts but Hibiki stops him and asks for them to be alone. Tsukasa glares not planning to but Dragonic drags him away, having a clue what the Oni is planning. The group leaves, leaving Daiki alone with Hibiki who hands him his Onsa to give to Asumu with a final request. Daiki eyes him and accepts, listening to what his request is.
The following day, Natsumi can't help but try to see Hibiki and tell Asumu the truth, feeling a neccessary obligation to do something. She leaves Absol to watch over Yusuke still recovering. She wants to tell Asumu the truth so he doesn't become overwhelmed by said truth. However…
''You still wish to believe Decade.'' Natsumi startles heavily, turning to see Narutaki in front of her. He gazes disappointed at the young girl as he raises his hand towards her.
''Then I shall show you the future of your actions!'' He announces as Natsumi didn't follow until she suddenly gasps in agony, seeing intensified images… of her nightmare: the nightmare of many Riders dying all by the hands… of Decade.
She gasps in pain watching the ominous shadowy figure of Decade killing each rider with such destruction and power till only he and a black Kuuga remain. They clashed but the winner was the sinister Decade.
''Now do you see the meaningless of believing in Decade. He will only make you suffer.'' Narutaki tells her wanting her to see that who she's trusting on is a monster. Natsumi, however gripping her hands on both sides of her head, shakes her head.
''No… Tsukasa-kun…'' She tries uttering out, refusing to give up on Tsukasa. These images, this nightmare; it can't be true. She's seen him do good, help save these worlds. Even if he's egoistic, Tsukasa wouldn't… he wouldn't!
Just then dashing in front of Narutaki to protect Natsumi is Dragonic, growling intensely as his dragon eyes glow fiery. Natsumi snaps gasping as her head feels better.
''You have no right to break her mind and soul!'' The dragon declares angrily, showing his fangs growling while his dragon eyes glow enraged.
''…'' Narutaki does not say a word and immediately vanishes through a Curtain Aurora.
Natsumi breathes heavily as Dragonic turns and asks her, worrying. ''Are you okay Natsumi-chan?''
She nods softly though she still feels uneased. Her dream- nightmare, those visions, could they really be true.
''Could he be right? After everything we did, could this lead to just more destruction?'' Natsumi asks Dragonic, still tensed up by the images of the vision. The dragon eyes her at first silent. He lowers his fedora hat downward, frowning saddened as he's reminded of his own past… yet.
''... The future is not determined by stone.'' The dragon proclaims lifting up his hat staring at her. ''We make our own future, even if Fate will push us to a direction; we still have the power to make our own paths.''
Natsumi stares at him, rather taken back. Dragonic jumps up hovering in front of her, adding with a small smile. ''Even if Tsukasa is meant to destroy, he will save everyone. Believe in him like you've always have.''
She blushes, surprised how wise the dragon is, reminding of her grandfather.
''… You believe in Tsukasa-kun too right?'' Natsumi asks him with Dragonic replying with a grin. ''Yup! I believe in people who are not bound by the Gravity of Fate.''
Natsumi forms a smile, happy to hear that until she blinks at the last part and questions. ''Gravity of Fate?''
Dragonic, nodding, is about to explain until they hear shots being fired. This alarms the two as the dragon states. ''Another time Natsumi-chan!''
Natsumi just nods as the two run towards the sound.
Dragonic and Natsumi arrive on the scene to see Kaito forcing Hibiki to fully become the Gyuki before Asumu's very eyes, terrified to see his master, his inspiration becoming a monster.
Tsukasa arrives too late, watching. This pissed him off gazing at Kaito who uses this chance to take the last scroll with a smug smile.
''Kaito, you scumbag thief!'' Tsukasa calls him out furiously. Daiki doesn't even respond as he runs off.
''How could he do that to Asumu?'' Natsumi utters out in shock that he did that to that boy. Dragonic couldn't explain it to her as he too is pissed about the selfish nature of that thief. She eyes the dragon and asks him. ''Can we save him Dragonic?''
Dragonic lowers his fedora hat downward explaining it saddened. ''Once the body is full Makamou, even my powers cannot revert him back to normal.''
Natsumi looks defeated, meaning Asumu loses his master. Dragonic eyes Tsukasa as he's the only one who can deal with this. Natsumi frowns, so sad for what has happened. Why? Why does life have to be unfair? She shakes her head and asks Tsukasa. ''Tsukasa-kun, do it!''
Tsukasa eyes her and nods strapping on the Decadriver.
''Yes ma'am.'' He proclaims pulling out the Decade card and shouts sliding it into the belt. ''Henshin!''
He pushes the handles of the belt as the Decadriver announces. ''KAMEN RIDE! DECADE!''
Tsukasa wipes his hands transforming into Decade and comes charging at the Gyuki. The two engage as the Makamou seem stronger. It easily brushes Decade backwards as he pulls out the Ride Booker gun form, thrusting a card into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! BLAST!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade fires multiple energy shots, sparks flying out from the monster as it is startled back but then it lets out a strong powerful shout that pushes Decade onto the ground.
Natsumi watches as Asumu looking beaten could not do it anymore. The boy could not do it anymore, about to run off. The Gyuki sees this and howls at the boy. Decade panics, about to shoot it down but then something else shoots the monster away. Decade turns and startles as it was Kaito.
''Asumu, don't tell me you've given up.'' Daiki questions the young boy. Asumu eyes him surprised as Decade questions him seriously. ''Kaito, why'd you come back?!''
''Oh, the thief has a heart?'' Dragonic taunts the rider and immediately Kaito calls him off upset. ''Shut up Gecko!''
''…'' The dragon glares with such a look of fury but contains his anger… at best as he could put it.
Kaito faces Decade as he tells his reasons for coming back. ''Besides, I wanted to see the treasure I stole.''
Decade scoffs not believing that. Kaito tells the truth to Asumu about his master and how he couldn't control the Oni's powers.
''But Hibiki the man said this…'' Daiki begins to tell Asumu of what Hibiki's last words were to him. ''If you can control the Oni powers with a righteous heart, become an Oni and defeat me!''
Asumu protests that he can't kill his own teacher, it's impossible. Daiki smirks at his response and tells him. ''Maybe that's fine. As long as you have that kindness, the Oni won't steal your heart. You're not just inheriting the Oni powers, you're also inheriting the soul of Hibiki the man.''
''… The hell?!'' Dragonic roars angrily that it was something that both he and Tsukasa would have said to the young boy. Decade calls him out pointing at him. ''Kaito, you stole my- our lines!''
Daiki gazes at him and points back at the magenta colored rider.
''Let me say this: Before you came along…'' Kaito begins to proclaim twirling the Diendriver as he pulls out the Diend card. ''I was a passing-through Kamen Rider! Remember that!''
Decade groans as does Dragonic while Natsumi sweat drops. Asumu, though, was taken back by Daiki's words.
''Henshin!'' Kaito shouts, sliding and loading his Diendriver as he shoots upward as the gun announces. ''KAMEN RIDE! DIEND!''
Kaito transforms into Diend, firing again at the Gyuki as it gasps and is pushed back. He approaches Asumu and shows him Hibiki's Onsa, asking the young boy. ''All that's left is for you to choose. Will you become an Oni or not?''
As he hands forward the Onsa. He eyes the strange vibrating fork and nods, accepting it.
''I will… become an Oni.'' Asumu proclaims needing to do this, for Daiki and for Hibiki. He strikes the Onsa with a tree trunk as it starts to vibrate. Asumu moves it over his forehead as a symbol begins to form and purple flames surround him. Everyone watches as the figure of Asumu grows and changes, blowing away the flames with a single arm swing to reveal him now as Kamen Rider Hibiki.
Natsumi stares amazed while Decade instructs the new Hibiki to save his master's soul before the Gyuki completely takes it as its own. They watch as the new Hibiki fights the monster fighting it with his hardest to free his master's soul.
Decade gets up and approaches Diend, surprised he showed some sense of humanity. Dragonic flies up landing on Decade's shoulder as he tells the cyan colored rider. ''Daiki Kaito, you really are a thief… to the heart.''
''… Doubt it.'' Decade protests slightly. Diend snickers watching as Hibiki twirls his drumstick weapons, striking Gyuki hard before Hibiki breathes powerful purple flames from its mouth. The attack burns the Gyuki before exploding. They watch as the Soul of Hibiki appears, bidding his farewell to Asumu before vanishing into the heavens, free from the monster's will. Hibiki lowers his head saddened but he knew crying now would dishonor his master's will.
''Poor Asumu.'' Natsumi mutters, also sad for what he went through. Decade nods though he tells her. ''At least now he saved-''
But before he could finish his words, the ground shakes and erupts upward. Decade grabs Natsumi, leaping away as did Diend and Hibiki with Dragonic flying over them, watching as they see the gigantic demon crab monster.
''WHAT IS THAT?!'' Natsumi utters out loudly out of terror. Decade doesn't like it as they look up and there Narutaki stands over the crab monster.
''DAMN YOU DECADE! THIS BAKEGANI WILL FINISH YOU OFF FOR ME!'' Narutaki yells out proudly at the destruction of the destroyer before vanishing. Dragonic growls as he tells Decade. ''Remind me to burn him the next we see him.''
Decade nods as the massive Bakegani tries stomping on them but they either roll or Decade leaps still gripping on Natsumi as she screams.
Just then Amaki and Todoroki appear and transform into their Oni Rider forms, assisting the others.
Decade uses his chance to put Natsumi away from the fighting as he goes back in there and Dragonic follows.
''ATTACK RIDE! DIEND BLAST!'' The Diendriver announces as he fires multiple energy shots at the demon crab. The damage doesn't do anything as the Bakegani fires a bubble-like acid attack as all the riders dodge them.
Diend scoffs having had enough of this and decides to uncover his treasure. He pulls out all 3 scrolls, tossing them overlapping all three and fires one shot into it. This shocks the Oni riders with Decade questioning. ''Huh? I thought you don't destroy your treasures.''
Diend shrugs it carefree. The destroyed scrolls let out a strange combination of flames, revealing the true Ongekido which is all three styles together and in harmony. The Onis stagger now understanding what they need to do.
''So this is what he meant.'' Dragonic mutters, now getting what Hibiki meant about Tsukasa being this grandmaster- well incorrectly oddly enough. Decade ignores that eyeing Hibiki and instructs the young boy in there. ''Asumu, carry Hibiki's will and defeat this monster like he would.''
''Right!'' Hibiki responds, not going to fail his master in his moment of taking on his mantle.
Just then the Ride Booker shoots out 4 cards that Decade catches, revealing to be the fully turned Hibiki cards. Grabbing just the one he needs, Decade slides it into the Decadriver.
''And this will help.'' Decade announces pushing the handles of his belt. The Decadriver responds, announcing. ''FINAL FORM RIDE!''
''This might tickle a bit.'' Decade warns the young Oni as he gets behind his back. Hibiki turns not following but it is too late as Decade taps his hand onto his back. Hibiki starts to glow into flames, becoming a giant flame mecha bird Animal Disk. ''HIBIKI ONGEKIKO!''
The other Onis startle as the giant bird attacks the demon crab, swiping with great speed and letting out strong flames. Decade watches seeing enough pulling out the finishing blow.
''Finisher.'' He declares sliding it into the Decadriver and pushing its handles.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as the mecha bird soars up into the sky, igniting in flames. ''HIBIKI!''
The massive burn soon descends downward rapidly and becomes the massive drum bell with the Hibiki symbols on it. It slams itself onto the monster's back, pinning it on the ground. Decade leaps upward onto the crab monster's back, twirling the now wielding Hibiki's Ongekibou Rekka drumstick weapons.
Coughing, Decade begins drumming onto the plate with such passion along with each rider playing their own instruments, even Dragonic playing the flute. The combined beats become a melody, damaging the Bakegani before Decade slams the sticks one more time with a fierce strike. The force of the impact is so strong it explodes the crab monster, destroying it completely.
Natsumi watches that just uttering out loud. ''Beautiful.''
Decade twirls the drumsticks as the Animal Disk reforms back into Hibiki, gasping really confused about what just happened.
''Encore?'' Decade asks Dragonic who grins. Narutaki, watching above a cliff, loses it as he yells down at the destroyer. ''DAMN YOU DECADE! THIS IS ALL-''
Immediately Dragonic twirls and shoots out a fireball at him. Narutaki ducks quickly, just nearly burning off his hat.
''RUN OFF BEFORE I BURN YOU ALIVE, FISHERMAN!'' Dragonic warns him angrily. Narutaki grunts gazing at Diend for a moment before vanishing. Diend just scoffs looking at Decade rather ominously.
After Asumu and the other Oni riders thank Daiki for uniting the schools, they bid farewell to all after Asumu tells Daiki he'll become strong like him. Daiki just smirks, trusting the boy's words.
Tsukasa scoffs, protesting against the idea that Kaito did anything other than to steal and miss with people. Kaito just smirks at his assumption which wasn't wrong before looking at Asumu walking together happily with his friends.
Kaito cracks a small smile, recalling something Tsukasa told him once about something more valuable than an item.
''Something precious, right Tsukasa-san?'' Kaito speaks up, reminding his rival. Tsukasa eyes him, indeed remembering that. Kaito then stares at him firmly and tells him pointing his finger at him. ''Tsukasa-san, careful befriending others including me.''
Tsukasa does not answer suspiciously what he meant. Daiki smirks as he walks off, waving goodbye. Tsukasa looks back at Asumu and there takes a photo of the young boy as seemingly he's being protected by Hibiki's soul. He smiles a bit, hoping the runt doesn't screw up being the new Hibiki.
The group returns to Hikari Studio to find Yusuke chuckling nervously. attending someone. Tsukasa looks and startles; it is Tendo drinking a cup of coffee.
''Tendo.'' Tsukasa utters, surprised to see him again this quickly. Tendo just finishes his cup as he gets up facing Tsukasa, watching from afar how he was helping this world like every world he went to but the damage here is done.
"Even in a world full only with enemies, there will always be someone you must protect." Tendo expresses looking at Natsumi for a brief moment before looking at Tsukasa. He further adds. ''I saw that in you, Destroyer. So I can only hope our paths don't cross as enemies.''
Tsukasa scoffs rather surprised by such a-
''But that might still happen. The worlds, they're breaking.'' Tendo, however, interrupts causing Tsukasa to sigh thinking it was too easy for no more- and then he and the others startle by the last part.
''But how! Tsukasa has been-'' Natsumi tries to protest until they feel a strange shake. They all walk outside the studio and look up, seeing a massive crack over the World of Hibiki. Yusuke now worries if the same thing had been happening to his world or the other worlds they saved.
''I suppose your adventure isn't over yet.'' Tendo states calmly as their journey is far from over.
Tsukasa, however, smirks at this as he declares in a taunt. "If you're going to an adventure, make it a big adventure."
He faces Tendo and tells him, more than certain, that their paths will meet again. ''Until we do cross paths then, Tendo.''
Tendo nods as he walks away.
''Absol!'' Absol barks as Tsukasa eyes her and asks the mon. ''If you're a hungry mutt, I'm sure Natsumikan will get you something.
Absol eyes him and growls biting into his leg. Tsukasa immediately yelps in pain. ''DAMN IT MUTT!''
''She wants you to feed her.'' Dragonic explains it to him only causing Tsukasa to complain about this. ''WELL SHE SHOULD HAVE JUST ASKED THAT!''
Absol grins barking happily.
Taking her chance, Natsumi runs off going after Tendo without the others to notice her leave, except Dragonic who follows her.
The dragon watches from the shadows to see Natsumi pleading with the Kabuto rider. ''Do you have to fight Tsukasa-kun? Even if you, the other riders and Narutaki say Tsukasa will doom everyone, I don't believe so!''
She's seen the vision of what Narutaki showed her and she doesn't want that; she wants to believe what they're doing is right and trust in Tsukasa.
''I know Tsukasa-kun will save everyone! Destroyer and all, he's a hero!'' Natsumi speaks up believing Tsukasa will make things better. Dragonic watches from afar and smiles a bit.
Tendo eyes the young girl and oddly smiles, seeing a bit of his sister through her.
"No matter what condiments, what ingredients... there is something greater: the love of the person cooking." Tendo begins saying in a Zen phrase. Natsumi blinks, puzzled, not following. He smiles, putting it in simple words. ''If you believe in him, then don't stop believing in him.''
Natsumi eyes him blushing and finally smiles nodding.
''I will.'' She promises. Tendo walks away, waving goodbye. She watches him leave hoping things will become better looking up at the cracked sky.
With all 9 worlds seemingly saved… What is left?
Author's Note: Time to clarify things:
1) Again, this chapter is based on the Hibiki two-parter episodes of Kamen Rider Decade TV series with changes of course… a lot probably and this is probably a longer chapter like the Faiz chapter.
2) Hints that Narutaki does know what truly happened to Eijiro Hikari but something that will be revealed… SOON.
3) The reveal that the worlds are being destroyed regardless of Tsukasa's actions to save the worlds.
4) Walking the path of Heaven, the man who'll rule everything; Soji Tendo is him. I had to give him the most spotlight as I bet many of us wanted Tsukasa and Tendo to meet in person (the Decade novel sort of did that but I think I outdid it). And of course the preview of a greater fight and rematch Decade and Kabuto will have.
Guys, we enter what I like to call the Eye of the Storm. Next time we will not tackle any ordinary world, we will tackle what will be the twist to this story I made. Everything, not everything, will be fanfic territory and I hope you guys appreciate it when you read it. Oh and one more Rider appearance, you guys didn't expect me to forget! ;)
