Disclaimer: This story is a Side Story to Yu-Gi-Oh! Dragon Knight Reborn! I do not own Kamen Rider Decade or any Kamen Rider Series. Characters may be SLIGHTLY OOC due to the story and events. I do own an OC in this story but I will not say who yet.
This is Chapter 15 of the Decade Side Story for DKR. Please enjoy it like a fan for Kamen Rider and for Dragon Knight Reborn.
Chapter 15: The Rider War: Climax
Natsumi watches horrified, frowning, upset by all that was happening. Tsukasa just took down 5 of the 9 riders and it isn't right that they fought and died by Tsukasa's hand. How? How could all of this be happening? Why Tsukasa? He lost his sister and this lead to the destruction of all worlds? And at worst Narutaki made all of this possible, causing so much trouble and destruction. And here they are, at the center of this destruction.
''... It's not fair.'' Dragonic turns, eyeing the young girl having her head look down with such a sadden face, crushed by all the deaths she has already witnessed. She couldn't turn to look at the dragon, just questioning him. ''Why Dragonic? Why?''
Dragonic looks back at her and frowns, not so sure how to tell her… but one thing, one honest truth.
''Life is cruel and fate is cruel.'' Dragonic simply responds to Natsumi confusion. She could see the dragon looking down almost thinking of something more tragic than this. He tries snapping out and looks up at the young girl, encouraging her. ''But we do what we can to try to change it. To make life better, to make fate better.''
''…'' Natsumi looks at him silently and nods softly. She could tell Dragonic also hated this too. Likely, he too lost people he loved deep in his heart.
Decade overhears this before Absol barks towards Blade approaching them. Decade didn't turn yet to face, simply asking him. ''Is this what you guys planned for?''
Blade didn't answer looking at the mess of a battlefield this has become and then answers. ''Honestly, no.''
He was as upset as any other to see the number of deaths already but he can't, he shouldn't; he mustn't let all they went through become nothing.
''But I won't let their sacrifices become in vain! And that includes all the other riders too!'' Blade proclaims loudly aiming his sword forward. Decade stares at him scoffing until he becomes confused by the other part.
''What do you mean?'' Decade questions him. Blade looks back at him and responds rather coldly. ''You didn't think of the other A.R. Riders would be safe right?''
Decade stares silent and he finally understands; the A.R. Riders have already vanished by the destruction of their worlds. He should have assumed that sooner.
''… True…'' Decade admits to this. Blade then uses this chance to plead towards him. ''Then let me end this here.''
Decade scoffs at that and responses pointing his finger at him. ''Sorry, I don't take orders. Though I guess you know plenty for making sacrifices, Kenzaki.''
Blade staggers by that. Does he know about-
Decade suddenly comes at him and slashes him by the chest with the Ride Booker sword form. Sparks fly out as Blade is pushed back onto the ground.
''No hesitating. Come and destroy me or I'll destroy you.'' Decade threatens him, swiping the back end of his sword.
Blade breathes wishing he saw reason but in a way they've both made up their mind long ago.
''Guess I have to.'' Blade responds as he thrusts the Absorb Queen Undead card into the Rouse Absorber device attached to his left arm. He then pulls out a King Undead card and slides it through the card swipe.
''ABSORB QUEEN! EVOLUTION KING!'' The Rouse Absorber announces as all of the Spade Undead Cards fly out and merge with Blade, transforming him into the golden clad Blade King Form.
''King Form…'' Decade mutters calmly, holding his sword forward. Blade lets out a deep breath before walking with his new larger sword weapon, King Rouzer, at hand. Decade makes the first move swinging the Ride Booker but Blade swings with his free hand, deflecting the sword strike with little to no damage done to him. This surprises Decade as Blade King Form swings his massive claymore blade around at Decade who evades by backing away from the sword swings.
''Come at me, Tsukasa!'' Blade shouts swinging his sword horizontally but Decade blocks with his left forearm. At first he blocks but the pressure of Blade's weapon pushes him hard before moving back the King Rouzer and performs a thrusting strike upon Decade's chest. Sparks fly out as Blade swings in a vertical strike, more sparks flying out before sending Decade flying backwards.
''I have my friends, my power and the power of sacrifices and Undead on my side!'' Blade declares determinedly, not going to lose to her. Decade brushes off the damage on him. He pulls out a Rider Card, tapping on it as he thrusts the card into his belt.
''SUPER FORM RIDE! BLADE JACK FORM!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade transforms into Blade Jack Form. He wields both the Ride Booker and Blay Rouzer, proclaiming in a taunt. ''And I have your powers so I'm stronger than you.''
Blade King Form groans and comes charging as Decade-Blade immediately takes flight, flying with insane speed that blitz across Blade over and over. Blade tanks the hits with his strong armor but Decade was striking him more and more with this hit-and-run tactic like a fly.
This was getting out of hand as Blade reaches with his left hand and manifests 5 cards, dunking inside the card inserter of the King Rouzer.
''SPADE 2! SPADE 3! SPADE 4! SPADE 5! SPADE 6!'' The King Rouzer announces as Blade holds the blade with both hands as 5 golden holographic cards appear tracking and aiming at Decade. ''STRAIGHT FLUSH!''
He swings and fires a golden energy slash through the holographic cards, coming at Decade but he throws the Blay Rouzer, blocking the energy slash at the cost of destroying the weapon. Decade pulls and slides a card into his belt.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE! BLADE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade-Blade flies down at Blade with the Ride Booker, both it and he consume in golden energy.
Blade holds up his hand summoning 5 more Undead cards and slides them into his sword.
''SPADE! HEART! DIAMOND! CLUB 6! SPADE KING!'' The King Rouzer announces as the 5 cards manifest in a row towards Decade and Blade comes charging. ''FOUR CARD!''
Blade passes through the card as it engulfs him with their energy and swings his blade forward clashing with Decade. Both weapons clash and release bursts of energy but Blade overpowers Decade, slashing the rider back and depowering him from the Blade form. Decade drops on the ground, grunting not believing this is Blade's power.
''Give up already! Too many lives-'' Blade begins arguing at Decade to stop this but Decade interrupts, begging to stand up again. ''Have I been lost? I know, and that won't change anything.''
Decade gets up fully as the Diendriver announces. ''KAMEN RIDE! BLADE!''
Leaping beside Decade is another Blade that Diend summons as he fights Kabuto. Decade pulls out a card, aware of the number of lives lost and yet he won't let beat him apart. If he does, then life would be cruel as Dragonic put it.
''I don't let the sacrifices haunt me, I move forward and surpassed them.'' Decade states proudly as he slides a card into his belt and then taps the fake Blade's body.
''FINAL FORM RIDE! BLADE BLADE!'' The Decadriver announces as the summoned Rider becomes the massive Blay Rouzer that Decade grips forward.
Blade King Form looks at him as he manifests 5 more Undead cards and slides them in the King Rouse, proclaiming. ''SPADE 10! JACK! QUEEN! KING! ACE!''
Decade tosses another into his belt, pushing one of the handles.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE! BLADE!'' The Decadriver declares as the massive blade erupts in electricity with Decade holding it with both hands.
5 holographic cards manifest before Blade as he grips his blade. He comes charging towards Decade, passing through the cards.
''ROYAL STRAIGHT FLUSH!'' The King Rouzer announces as Blade swings his claymore right to Decade who just stands his pose. Natsumi watches panicking as Blade is about to slash Decade until the magenta times it and swings the massive sword with a single strong swing. It went and came in an instant as Blade stands behind Decade. At first everything was fine until Blade gasps as the King Rouzer shatters into pieces, not seeing the slash that Decade made in the last second or how it managed to cut him through his own attack.
Blade gasps as his form dissolves as Kenzaki drops on his knees. Decade breathes finally turning as the Blade Blade vanishes. He faces the defeated Blade and there he sees the leaking of… green blood? Decade oddly chuckles, now getting it.
''You're an Undead.'' Decade questions him calmly. Kenzaki turns back and tries to smile wounded through his gut from the attack. ''It doesn't mean I can't die, right?''
Kenzaki still smiles, glad that he was able to fight like this even if it means he will die.
''I guess… this was all I could do…'' He expresses trying to stand and immediately falls forward but not before uttering out. ''At least… I'm free…''
Kenzaki drops face forward and erupts in energy, vanishing.
Decade looks down at where the defeated Blade was and just mutters out. ''Three down…''
He turns to hear whining. Decade watches as Absol is pushed back hard by the hands of Kiva.
''You're next then, Kiva- no, Wataru Kurenai.'' Decade calls him out, pointing his finger confidently. Kiva looks at Decade not saying a word. Decade lets out a chuckle asking the rider in a taunt. ''What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?''
Natsumi watches as she reaches and checks on Absol as the mon was able to get back up growling by the opponent.
''… Tsukasa-kun, you have no story.'' Kiva finally speaks up to Decade utter confusion. ''Nani? What do you mean by that?''
Kiva faces Decade as he explains. ''Your purpose is to restore the rider worlds but you also cause the destruction of our worlds. What will happen if you do find a way to stop this?''
It didn't take long for Decade to realize that, making this pretty grim. Even Natsumi couldn't believe what she heard. So Tsukasa has no future but to end as Decade?
''Exactly. You either continue as Decade or cease to exist.'' Kiva confirms it without having anyone ask him.
''Like Narutaki…'' Dragonic points out to Decade's annoyance but truthfulness. This is exactly why Narutaki despises Decade… but that was him.
''And what of it?'' Decade responds coldly, not caring in the least to Natsumi's shock. Kiva also found this surprising as he looks around the surroundings of this world and then asks him. ''You chose to be Decade by running away from your world. Why?''
Decade didn't answer, simply clenching his fist silently. Tsukasa could not… he didn't want to remain in his world. He wanted to escape it all, run away from living in a world where he lost his sister. But…
''Because I got bored here.'' Decade, with the same detached cool guy tone, responds pointing at him with his signature hand point. He then turns narrowly towards Natsumi and responds looking back at Kiva. ''And I don't care if I have no story. I choose now than later.''
Kiva just stares at this guy, not believing anyone is willing to not care about their life this little? Tsukasa Kadoya was no ordinary human… but neither was Wataru. He can't afford to lose here, raising his left arm up high, calling out. ''Tatsulot!''
Flying downward is a small golden dragon, Tatsulot, flying around Kiva as he shouts out excitedly. ''Yosh! Let's go all out!''
He slams itself onto Kiva's left arm as Kiva's body glows with Tatsulot shouting loudly. ''HENSHIN~!''
Decade watches as Kiva transforms into the golden-crimson red king, Kiva Emperor, waving his bat-like shaped split cape.
''Kiva Emperor…'' Decade mutters pulling out a Rider card and slides it into his belt, pushing the handles.
''SUPER FORM RIDE! KIVA DOGABAKI!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade transforms into Kiva's super form. Absol joins him barking. ''Absol!''
Kiva Emperor breathes as he approaches Decade in his usual movement. Absol comes at him with Psycho Cut but Kiva Emperor not only catches the attack but throws it back, blasting Absol away who falls backwards.
Decade comes at him as the ground turns into a swampy pond and Decade slides on it like ice skating. However Kiva walks through the pond, melting with each step he takes through his sheer, fiery power. Decade-Kiva doesn't let this stop him as he fires multiple bubble blasts and none of the hits touch Kiva, melting before they could touch him.
Decade-Kiva comes at him with the Garuru Saber but Kiva repels it with his forearm. The blade grinds with sparks flying but it does no damage to Kiva who then swings his other arm and easily punches Decade backwards.
Decade manages to stand his ground as he summons the Dogga Hammer and swings the hammer in a thrusting strike. Kiva however counters roundhouse kick the hammer and shatters the massive weapon followed by multiple kicking the rider across the stomach, each strike causes sparks to fly out before Kiva kicks him backwards once more.
Decade rolls on the ground but gets up panting as he thrusts a card into his belt.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE! KIVA!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade leaps upward into the sky as the chained leg shatters revealing the bat wings.
Kiva then pulls on Tatsulot's lever and pulls on it as it starts to do a roulette system.
''WAKE UP FEVER~!'' Tatsulot declares stopping at the Kiva emblem and Kiva leaps upward, swinging both kicks forward as they gain large red bat wings. The kicks strike and create a strong powerful burst of energy between each other but Kiva's crimson energy pushes back as did his kick, striking Decade. The explosion sends Decade falling back on the ground, reverted back to normal.
Kiva lands as Decade gets up panting, holding on to the Ride Booker.
''Zanvat!'' Kiva Emperor calls out, raising his right arm and suddenly coming out of nowhere the golden bat themed sword with a glass stained blade, gripping onto Kiva's hand. Decade grunts, coming at him while Kiva Emperor repels his charging sword swing and then slashes him twice before kicking him hard.
Decade is tossed onto the ground but this didn't break him, standing back up brushing off the damage. He can't give up, refusing to lose coming this far.
''Even if I have no story, Natsumi has a story.'' Decade declares coming at Kiva with a sword swing but Kiva blocks it and slashes him. Sparks fly again as Kiva swings again but Decade grabs onto the blade to Kiva's shock.
''Yusuke, the mutt, Dragonic…'' Decade proclaims gripping on the blade of the sword, even admitting it as he looks at Diend. ''Even a thief like Kaito has a story.''
Absol comes at Kiva again with Night Slash and Kiva slashes the attack and then kicks the mon away followed by kicking Decade again, releasing the grip on Zanvat Sword. Kiva comes at Decade swinging his sword downward and yet Decade responds and bashes his forearm onto the blade, deflecting the Zanvat to Kiva's surprise.
''I will fight for their stories and of all worlds, destroyed or living!'' Decade vows to push the attack back as Absol once more comes in and uses Night Slash, striking Kiva's chest. Kiva staggers as Decade comes at him, slashing him down over and over with the Ride Booker. Sparks fly out from Kiva, too stunned to break free from this.
''I don't need a story! I will continue fighting and die as both Tsukasa Kadoya and Kamen Rider Decade!'' Decade proclaims passionate, not giving up anymore as he slashes him so hard it pushes Kiva back.
''KAMEN RIDE! KIVA!'' The Diendriver announces as a fake Kiva kicks the real one away even further.
''Tsukasa-san!'' Diend calls out to Decade as Kabuto uses Clock Up to smack him backwards. Decade nods, pulling out a Rider card and tosses it into the belt as he taps the summoned Kiva's back.
''FINAL FORM RIDE! KIVA ARROW!'' The Decadriver as the summoned Kiva transforms into the giant Kiva arrow with bow.
Decade grips on it holding up a Rider card and declares proudly. ''That is my answer! I am a destroyer and a hero!''
Kiva remains silent as he then slides a golden flute into Kivat's mouth as he declares. ''WAKE UP!''
Kiva Emperor then moves up the bat guard piece of the sword up to the tip while the blade is engulfed in red bright energy and then he moves the bat guard piece downward. Decade responds by tossing the Rider card into his belt.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE! KIVA!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade takes aim as Kiva swings the Zanvat Sword at full swing, firing the crimson red energy slash. Decade immediately fires and the Kiva arrow shoots right through the energy slash and pierces through Kiva, slamming him into a mountain side.
Kiva grunts in agony, cracks on his body showing. Decade stares down as Kiva, gasping for breath, utters out. ''You remind me… of my father.''
Decade begins recalling how A.R. Wataru's father was and could tell that Wataru had a father who inspired him.
Gasping, Kiva then says as the cracks appear more on his body. ''If Decade can create a story… then…''
He couldn't finish his last words as Kiva shines and shatters like a Fangire, destroyed utterly.
Decade didn't say a word, not the place to say something. He did know this isn't over. Decade now turns to stare upon Kabuto.
''You could have saved them you know.'' Decade taunts Kabuto about his ability to use Hyper Clock Up to time travel. Kabuto doesn't answer looking at the destruction and then responds firmly. ''They have their reasons to fight for their own reasons.''
Kabuto wields the Kabuto Kunaigun, proclaiming. ''I wanted our fight to be just you and me, Kadoya. Through our fight, our fellow Riders will rest in peace.''
Decade scoffs at that assumption and responds by holding up the Kabuto Rider Card. ''Let's go then, Tendo.''
He dunks the card immediately in his belt and pushes its handles.
''KAMEN RIDE! KABUTO!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade becomes Kabuto, wielding the Ride Booker sword form. Kabuto nods hoping to see Decade use his power now. Decade now pulls out another card and slides it in his belt too
''ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade pushes the handle while Kabuto proclaims tapping the side waist of his belt. ''Clock Up.''
''CLOCK UP!'' The Kabuto Zecter and Decadriver both declare as both Riders within the hyperspeed Clock Up effect. Both riders engage like chess masters, striking only when necessary and when it best suits them as they dash around the seemingly frozen time. All except for Dragonic and Diend were unaffected, watching as Kabuto strikes and swings with precise blows but Decade parries them with ease. Decade comes in with Kabuto evading his attacks. Both riders try slashing the other and counter the other's slashes, sparks flying out.
Decade then switches the Ride Booker into gun form and fires charging in as Kabuto slashes the attacks and quickly slides to the left to dodge Decade's swinging punch and then the other swinging punch from Decade. However Kabuto doesn't notice the strong knee kick from Decade as he back punches with his first thrown swing, slamming it across Kabuto's helmet. The blow staggers Kabuto long enough for Decade to triple punch his chest and then uppercuts Kabuto off his feet, sending him up as he switches the Ride Booker back to sword form and slashes him in midair. The slash slams Kabuto flying and crashing onto the ground on his back.
''CLOCK OVER!'' Time resumes with Natsumi and Absol blink awkwardly about what just happened. Decade swipes his sword watching as Kabuto gets up on one knee. Just then a surge of electricity manifests before Kabuto, taking the form of the Hyper Zecter.
''The Hyper Zecter…'' Dragonic mutters watching as Kabuto, unlike before, grabs the Zecter and stands up proclaiming. ''Now I can go all out.''
Decade watches as Kabuto attaches the Zecter on his left side and declares softly flipping the lever once. ''Hyper Cast Off.''
''HYPER CAST OFF!'' The Hyper Zecter announces as it courses Kabuto in electricity, changing him into his Hyper Form. ''CHANGE HYPER BEETLE!''
Decade-Kabuto isn't scared though shaking by Kabuto's true strength as he takes on a strong pose. Kabuto responds by tapping his hand on the Hyper Zecter's button, declaring calmly. ''Hyper Clock Up.''
''HYPER CLOCK UP!'' The Hyper Zecter declares as rainbow-like energy bug swings ignite on Kabuto's back. Kabuto takes a single step as he's consumed in green electrical energy and then the next he appears behind Decade in less than a second. Decade-Kabuto startles and then suddenly gets multiple sparks of damage across his body and his own body is sent flying to the sides. Kabuto suddenly vanishes from where he was, moving so fast that he appears where Decade is going to crash and kicks him so hard, crashing on his back into a mountainside.
Decade-Kabuto grunts getting off from the wall he was pinned on, pulling out a rider card and comes charging with Clock Up speed while dunking the card into his belt.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE! KABUTO!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade leaps and roundhouse kicks Kabuto who just stands there and next thing he knows his Rider Kick is caught by Kabuto's bare hand. This shocked Decade uttering out. ''Impossible!''
Kabuto then responds by kicking Decade-Kabuto once more very hard as he reverts to regular form and falls on the ground.
''HYPER CLOCK OVER!'' The Hyper Zecter announces as stop time is over. Decade grunts weakly but not going to admit defeat still holding his Ride Booker and comes charging.
Hyper Kabuto likes that attitude and he responds. He raises his hand towards the sun as something comes down and lands into his possession. It was the Perfect Zecter weapon as Hyper Kabuto swings forward seemingly at Decade's own swing and Decade suddenly finds himself thrusted backward, multiple sparks flying out of him instead. Hyper Kabuto walks towards him calmly and then swings powerful multiple slashes upon Decade, unable to be seen with the human eye. Decade is thrusted back hard but keeps himself from not falling down. He quickly slides a Rider Card in his belt as he charges again.
''ATTACK RIDE! SLASH!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade swings his sword leaving behind a trail of magenta-like energy. Hyper Kabuto presses a button on his weapon as the Perfect Zecter announces. ''KABUTO POWER!''
The blade glows red as he swings the sword against Decade's. ''HYPER BLADE!''
The two swords clash but Kabuto repels Decade.
''Nani?'' Decade utters as Kabuto comes in and slashes him once so hard it tosses him backwards as sparks still fly out.
Natsumi trembles worrying but then sees Decade getting up, panting heavily.
Kabuto presses a switch as the sword form Perfect Zecter changes into gun form. ''GUN MODE!''
Hyper Kabuto then presses the 4 switches of the 4 Zecters as the Perfect Zecter proclaims. ''KABUTO! THE BEE! DRAKE! SASWORD POWER!''
The tip of the weapon begins charging up swirls of energy as Hyper Kabuto enters Hyper Clock Up Mode.
''ALL ZECTER! COMBINE!'' The Perfect Zecter announces as Decade quickly pulls a card and dunks it however Kabuto fires. ''MAXIMUM HYPER CYCLONE!''
The Perfect Zecter releases a vortex of tachyon-charged energy. The attack instantly consumes where Decade was, atomizing everything in its path. Natsumi panics heavily as Dragonic stops her from getting close.
The blast clears up and nothing remains. Natsumi widens her eyes slowly but deeply, trembling at the idea that Tsukasa might be gone. Dragonic, however, just watches silently.
Breathing, Kabuto raises his free hand over the sun, muttering out. ''It's over…''
Suddenly Kabuto is hit across the helmet and follows by two strong punches. He gasps as Decade emerges and kicks stomps Kabuto backwards hard. Everyone is surprised yet Natsumi is relieved with a big smile. Dragonic, smirking, knew Tsukasa used the Invisible Attack Ride Card to make Kabuto think he won as he had dodged the blast.
''No, not until the sun sets.'' Decade proclaims proudly as Diend scoffs, thinking the guy died, as he loads a card into his blaster.
''KAMEN RIDE! KABUTO!'' The Diendriver announces as Diend fires and the shot becomes Kabuto who stands beside Decade.
The real Kabuto gasps, stunned by the surprise attack as Decade pulls out a Rider Card.
''Tendo, this is my response. My own evolving power!'' Decade responds to his own power. He taps the card twice before tossing it in his belt and taps the summoned Kabuto's back.
''FINAL FORM RIDE! ZECTER KABUTO!'' The Decadriver announces as the fake Kabuto transforms into a giant Kabuto Zecter. Decade then slides a card in too and pushes the handles.
''ATTACK RIDE! ILLUSION!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade multiples into 5. The giant Kabuto Zecter comes at Kabuto who taps the Hyper Zecter.
''HYPER CLOCK UP!'' The Hyper Zecter announces as Hyper Kabuto moves fast, bashing through the giant Kabuto but it bashes back. The two clash at almost the same speed as the copy Decades fire energy shots. Kabuto suddenly appears roundhouse kicking all the illusions, destroying them.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' Kabuto staggers as the giant Kabuto comes charging at it with Decade, reverting back to Kabuto as both perform a duo flying Rider Kick.
Hyper Kabuto flips the Hyper Zecter's lever once as it announces in a strong, deep voice. ''MAXIMUM RIDER POWER!''
He quickly presses the three buttons on the Kabuto Zecter declaring in response. ''ONE! TWO! THREE!''
''KABUTO!'' The Decadriver announces as both riders are consumed in energy.
''Hyper Kick.'' Kabuto utters out as he flips the lever of the Kabuto Zecter as it announces before he leaps forward. ''RIDER KICK!''
Hyper Kabuto is engulfed in rainbow colored energy as he flies with his energy wings and clashes, kick-to-kick, against Decade's. The two clash heavily but Kabuto tears through the two and destroys both the fake Kabuto and Decade.
Hyper Kabuto lands on the ground as the Hyper Zecter proclaims. ''HYPER CLOCK OVER!''
Time resumes back to normal. Hyper Kabuto breathes taking on his pose to salute to the sun once more…
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' Kabuto staggers hearing the Decadriver's voice. He looks up to see a figure within the sun. It was Decade, coming at Kabuto kicking through the Holographic Rider cards. ''DECADE!''
''HAAAY!'' Decade shouts coming at Kabuto. The rider just stares and hums letting this hit him. Decade's kick strikes Kabuto. Time seemingly froze as Decade's kick connects on Kabuto's head. Decade, though, clenches his right fist muttering out. ''Again… you held back.''
Kabuto does not respond. This makes Decade mad as he questions him. ''You could have travel back in time, revived the other riders and still beat me before this began.''
Once more Kabuto did not respond. This got irritated to Decade demanding him mad. ''Why?!''
Kabuto, still silent, finally expresses firmly. ''… It would have been unfair. I wanted to beat you with my strength than the cheap way.''
Kabuto tries raising his right hand to the sky, preaching out passionately. "When people love others, they grow weaker, though it's nothing to be ashamed of. True weakness lies elsewhere. Because this is not a true weakness. Only those who know weakness will be truly able to become stronger."
He looks at Decade, aware of why he's fighting for and he was happy. A man who fights for something more than one self is stronger than God.
''You've become strong, Tsukasa Kadoya. Never regret your choices or else fate will never be on your side.'' Kabuto expresses his final words as Decade's kick consumes him and explodes.
Natsumi staggers watching as Decade emerges from the explosion. He breathes looking down to see what remained of Soji Tendo, of Kabuto, was the horn antenna piece of his helmet completely destroyed.
''Tendo…'' Decade mutters more than certain that man is the strongest of the heavens… but he will surpass the heavens.
''Absol!'' Absol barks at Decade who turns, facing Kuuga in his Amazing Mighty Form as he easily disposes of A.R. Kuuga with ease. Diend watches on the sidelines, having different plans to let Tsukasa fight alone.
Decade walks up to the real Kuuga, calling him off in a taunt. ''Yusuke Godai, last man standing.''
Kuuga turns facing him, not surprised Decade survived this far. He has not only grown strong but defeated all the other riders… and that upset him. Kuuga has met many amazing fellow Riders who in his point-of-view are his successors.
''I didn't want to be the last man; I don't want any of this.'' Kuuga expresses humble yet sadden, not wishing for any of these deaths. Still… he can't let this break him.
''But I will take responsible, for the lives I couldn't save and protect those remaining smiles…'' Kuuga begins declaring; promising to himself and everyone who has died as swirls of darkness surround him. ''Even if I must succumb to the darkness; still believing in the good in my heart.''
He then slams his hands on both sides of his belt, transforming him into his Ultimate Form. Kuuga breathes deeply as the swirls of darkness blast in all directions. Everyone braces themselves by his power.
''Tsukasa, I will fight you with what I have left as you do the same! We will fight for what we believe!'' Kuuga proclaims, vowing to fight for them.
''Ultimate Form…'' Decade mutters out and he couldn't help but crack a smirk underneath a mask. To fight the strongest rider, that is something only one should have such a title and that's him. Decade hand taunts him, calling out confidently. ''Bring it.''
Ultimate Kuuga comes at him as Decade proceeds to just stand his ground. Kuuga comes swinging and Decade dodges it. Kuuga keeps coming, swinging more punches and a mix of kicks that Decade evades left-to-right or vice versa, dodging around over and over.
Natsumi watches puzzled not following while Dragonic is aware why Tsukasa is doing this; he's trying to find an angle. Ultimate Kuuga is the most powerful rider with the power of the Ultimate Darkness, capable of destroying planets. Right now, Decade is trying to drain Kuuga's energy but Kuuga sees through this and almost kicks Decade and then thrust punches Decade still dodging it. The punch launches Decade backwards, grunting heavily.
Decade shakes off the damage as he pulls out a card and thrusts it into his belt.
''SUPER FORM RIDE! KUUGA AMAZING MIGHTY!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade transforms into Kuuga's super form. Decade clenches his right fist before proclaiming, pointing that same hand in his signature finger pose. ''Let's see which is stronger: The Power to Destroy the World or the Power that Destroy Worlds.''
Ultimate Kuuga doesn't respond and nods. Decade pulls out another Rider Card and dunks it into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! ILLUSION!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade multiples but as the other forms of Kuuga: Mighty, Dragon, Pegasus and Titan. Each form wields their own weapon except the main Decade-Kuuga as he comes charging in first.
Kuuga stands there and almost on reflex dodges arrow energy shots from Pegasus as Decade foot stomps Kuuga who simply parries the kick with his arm. Just then Mighty leaps over the main Decade with a launching punch but Ultimate Kuuga clashes the illusion, fist-to-fist, as the illusion shatters into pieces. Dragon and Titan come at Ultimate on both sides, swinging their weapons at him. Ultimate Kuuga thrusts his forearms and blocks the strikes as he then grabs them and pulls the two closer. He then performs a strong spinning kick, striking the two illusions and destroying them. Pegasus continues firing as Ultimate Kuuga evades with ease before tossing the Titan Sword right through that illusion, destroying it.
''He's really strong, extremely powerful…'' Decade states, fully aware this wouldn't be an easy fight but he wasn't bested yet coming at Kuuga. As Decade prepares to extend back his right fist, Ultimate Kuuga swings faster but Decade has been pretending and ducks in the last second of Kuuga's fist. From there Decade swings his punch across Kuuga's chest so hard it cracks through the Ultimate Kuuga armor and launches him backwards hard. Everyone is taken back by that with Dragonic smirking.
''But not as strong as me.'' Decade declares wiping his hands as he pulls out a Rider Card and orders Yusuke. ''Yusuke, I'm borrowing your strength. And this might tickle''
''Yea I know.'' Yusuke responds by running up to his side. Decade nods as he dunks his card into his belt and taps A.R. Kuuga's back.
''FINAL FORM RIDE! KUUGA GOURAM!'' The Decadriver announces as A.R. Kuuga transforms into the massive Kuuga Gouram, flying right at Ultimate Kuuga so fast it catches him with its sharp pinches mouth and thrusts him up to the sky.
Decade watches as he dunks two cards into his belt and then he starts running forward.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE! KUUGA!'' The Decadriver announces as the Kuuga Gouram's eyes flash and it moves downward with the caught Ultimate Kuuga right towards Decade at max speed with its wings glow. Decade-Kuuga leaps towards them upward and performs Amazing Mighty's Rider Kick right through Ultimate Kuuga as Kuuga Gouram tosses the right downward, crashing on the ground and explodes in a pillar of explosive energy. Decade descends as Kuuga Gouram catches the rider on its back, the two descend. Decade hops off as Kuuga Gouram reverts back to normal Kuuga and lands beside him, grunting really hating that transformation.
Diend watches astonished in his own taunt-like nature while Natsumi smiles of relief.
''They did it!'' She expresses, happily. Absol and Dragonic though could sense something was off.
Kuuga snickers, doing a thumbs up with Decade shakes his head and fist pumps him. However…
Just then a burst of golden energy erupts from where Kuuga crashed.
''Nani?'' Decade utters sensing such power. Everyone staggers turning to see a figure emerging. They couldn't believe it.
''No way!'' A.R. Kuuga complains in shock, not possible that he survived. Decade just watches as walking forward was Kuuga but his Ultimate Form had evolved, gaining a more golden bug-like armor. This surprises everyone except Dragonic.
''Rising Ultimate Kuuga…'' Dragonic reveals firmly to Decade and even Diend's shock.
''A form above Ultimate?!'' A.R. Kuuga utters out not believing this.
Decade, trying to be calm about this, has never seen this form before or aware Kuuga had a form above the one he's supposed to have. He could feel this golden aura of power emitting through the rider; he's in a different league than before.
Raising his fist towards Decade, Rising Ultimate Kuuga declares passionate. ''This is the power that suppresses the darkness and turns it into the light of those smiles!''
Decade clenches his fists and comes at him. Diend scoffs, joining him in as did Kuuga. All three riders try to attack the real Kuuga on three different sides and yet he moves across each one, striking them once with enough force to slam them backwards hard. Diend crashes into a mountainside while A.R. Kuuga crashes hard on the ground, reverts back to human form and Decade grinds his feet on the ground as his form reverts back to regular Decade.
Kuuga now comes charging at Decade who quickly dunks a card into his belt.
''ATTACK RIDE! INVISIBLE!'' The Decadriver announces as Kuuga comes with a kick but Decade vanishes and disappears before the kick hits him. Kuuga startles looking around as he then hears the Decadriver announcing. ''FINAL ATTACK RIDE! DECADE!''
Kuuga turns to see Decade visible again and fires a powerful energy blast from the Ride Booker gun form through the holographic cards, aiming towards Kuuga. Kuuga quickly thrusts his left arm forward, wrapped in golden energy and punches through the blast.
Decade startles as he quickly dunks another card in switching his weapon to Sword form.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE! DECADE!'' The Decadriver declares as Decade comes charging through the appearing holographic cards with his sword at him, moving in so fast as he comes out in front of Kuuga and swings his sword twice, slashing him… and it does nothing. His attack couldn't even faze him. Decade staggers as Kuuga kick stomps him so hard it sends him back into the holographic cards that shatter on impact.
Natsumi watches worryingly as Decade stands up, grunting in pain, as he slides another Rider Card into his belt.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE! DECADE!'' The Decadriver announces as the holographic cards manifest once more and Decade leaps up. Kuuga watches as the cards adjust, aiming towards him as Decade descends and performs his Rider Kick.
Kuuga Rising Ultimate just extends back his right fist, engulfed in golden energy. Decade emerges from the last holographic card and kicks right at Kuuga who extends forward his golden fiery fist, both attacks clashing in golden and magenta energy. However Kuuga's fist punches through Decade's attack and explodes.
''GGAAH!'' Decade screams while he's launched backwards and crashing onto the ground hard. Kuuga stands his ground, unfazed.
''No way…'' Yusuke utters, watching in shock as Natsumi trembles. ''Tsukasa-kun…''
Decade grunts trying to get up but could only get on his knees. Kuuga stares at him and sighs as he approaches him. Yusuke watches this, thinking this is over… and he didn't want that. He didn't want their journey to become nothing; having come this far… losing Ai to lose her twice.
''NO!'' Kuuga stops to turn towards Yusuke standing up, breathing heavily but filled with this strong desire, consumed by his rage.
''I don't… I don't…'' Yusuke begins speaking out at first, struggling to say those words as dark energy manifests out of his body. Dragonic watches and becomes concerned.
''I DON'T WANT TO LOSE HER SMILE AND EVERY OTHER SMILE! I DON'T!'' Yusuke declares loudly as he manifests the Arcle and shouts. ''HENSHIN!''
He lets out a scream as the darkness consumes him and he transforms, becoming Kuuga Ultimate. Natsumi startles that he could transform… until she realizes the regular red bug visors of the helmet were pure black.
''Those black eyes.'' Natsumi mutters, beginning to recall the Kuuga that fought Decade in her dream; he had black eyes too.
The black-eyed Ultimate Kuuga lets out a shriek and attacks the Rising Ultimate Kuuga viciously as dark energy wraps around his fists. Rising Ultimate parries the hits but begins to stagger, feeling the tense darkness leaking from this Kuuga.
''W-what happened to Yusuke?'' Natsumi asks, worrying. Dragonic frowns and informs her grimly. ''Our Yusuke-kun has allowed his darkness to consume him. That is the difference between him and the original. He's no longer himself.''
Natsumi frowns, watching how viciously their Kuuga is fighting almost wildly.
''Then that's the Kuuga of my dream.'' She admits, looking towards Decade who stands up fully watching the fight too.
Rising Ultimate hax enough gripping on the dark Kuuga's arms, pleading with him. ''Stop it! Don't let the darkness consume your heart! You-''
''ATTACK RIDE! CROSSFIRE!'' The Diendriver suddenly announces as the summoned Kamen Riders Knight, Gatack and Ixa slash Rising Ultimate's back, sparks flying out as Kuuga gasps in pain and then he's blasted by Diend's from the back.
''GAAAH!'' Kuuga screams, flying backwards onto the ground hard. Diend breathes approaching the other Kuuga and starts praising him tapping his shoulder. ''Nice job distracting-''
Immediately the berserk Kuuga turns and immediately punches Diend so hard sparks fly out as he crashes onto the ground. The summoned riders try to attack him but Ultimate Kuuga lets out a dark screech of energy, destroying them.
''N-Never mind.'' Diend utters grunting. Kuuga shrieks gazing at Decade and comes at him. Decade grunts as Kuuga comes swinging and immediately Absol intercepts with Detect.
''Absol!'' The mon barks using Night Slash and pushes the berserk rider back. Decade scoffs thanking her. ''Thanks mutt.''
Absol nods as Decade walks forward facing the berserk Kuuga who yells out in fury monster-like. Kuuga then holds up his right fist, engulfed in darkness.
''Yusuke…'' Decade mutters raising and clenching his right fist, engulfed in magenta colored energy. Natsumi widens her eyes as this is happening like in her dream. Soon the two riders come charging at the other, about to swing their fists at the other.
''Stop Tsukasa-kun!'' Natsumi screams begging him to stop but it was too late. An explosion soon occurs as Dragonic protects her. Natsumi watches in terror, not believing this is actually happening. However, as the smoke clears, instead of clashing fists, she sees that Decade caught the berserk Kuuga's fist. Natsumi startles and soon breathes relief.
The black Kuuga growls, trying to pull away but Decade grips tightly on his fist, not letting him go.
''Snap out of it, you idiot!'' Decade shouts, swinging his other fist across Kuuga's face and cracks the mask. Kuuga falls back de-transforming just as Decade de-transforms too, having been drained too heavily.
Yusuke groans, rubbing his head, never feeling such a headache. He looks up and sees Tsukasa looking down at him, panting heavily. ''T-Tsukasa-san?''
Tsukasa scoffs with a small weakened smirk, taunting the idiot. ''You really are careless. How will your detective see you if you succumb to the darkness that all Grongi have?''
Yusuke slowly widens his eyes, gasping as he realizes what has happened. Tsukasa rolls his eyes as he lectures him. ''You're better than this Yusuke. Don't forget those smiles shine brighter than the darkness. Don't let the darkness consume who you are.''
Yusuke just looks at him as Tsukasa sighs, holding his hand to him. He eyes it and smiles accepting the hand, pulling him back up.
Tsukasa breathes heavily now, turning to stare down at Kuuga Rising Ultimate. Tsukasa slowly cracks a smirk still having the Decadriver strapped on his waist, proclaiming proudly as he points his finger at him. ''Let's finish this, Yusuke Godai; Kamen Rider Kuuga!''
Kuuga Rising Ultimate eyes this young man and couldn't believe he saved his comrade, avoiding destruction. He was a strong man, much stronger than he assumed.
''Tsukasa Kadoya…'' Kuuga begins to say as he raises his right hand and gives him a thumb up declaring. ''This time I will not hold anything back!''
Tsukasa smirks, nodding, more than certain Kuuga has been holding back. Kuuga breathes as his body begins to be wrapped in a brighter golden light, seemingly about to transform-
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' Kuuga staggers as he turns and immediately gets blasted by Diend, behind his back, firing. ''DIEND!''
The energy beam tears through Rising Ultimate Kuuga, gasping as everyone widens their eyes in shock.
''Kuuga!'' Tsukasa utters out as Kuuga drops face forward. Diend gasps scoffing. Tsukasa runs over to Kuuga's aid, gazing at Diend and calls him off pissed. ''Damn it Kaito!''
''Saw an opening.'' Diend tells him off, shrugging his shoulders. Tsukasa glares pissed off as he wanted to fight fairly against Kuuga.
''It's okay.'' Tsukasa looks down to see Kuuga pleading, reverting back to his human form. ''I kinda wanted this to happen. I couldn't bring myself to kill you, Tsukasa. I know you're a good guy.''
Tsukasa looks at him, not believing that part. If he was a good guy; he wouldn't have killed the other Riders.
Yusuke Godai reaches and grabs Tsukasa's hand, pleading with him. ''Promise me… that you will not fail us, the Riders who couldn't become your allies.''
Tsukasa scoffs at that and corrects him uncaringly. ''None of you were my allies… you were my comrades.''
Yusuke just nods, smiling and he responds. ''Thank you.''
He then eyes his A.R. counterpart, still seeing so much potential in him and asks of him. ''The world still needs Kuuga. Protect those smiles.''
A.R. Yusuke looks at his real counterpart and frowns, his body trembling. After everything, he wishes him to carry on the fight. He couldn't say no.
Bowing down to him, Yusuke responds. ''Y-YES!''
Yusuke Godai smiles, happy to hear it as his body turns bright golden and soon becomes nothing. Tsukasa stares at his hand, gripping on the small sparks of light still in his hand.
With that all 9 Heisei riders were gone, Tsukasa won. Unaware that the 9 rider cards did glow briefly in Tsukasa's possession as did Decade's.
Natsumi still frowns, defeated by the loss of so many good riders.
''It's over…'' She mutters not believing this would finally be over… but Dragonic didn't think so.
''But…'' Diend says, staring at Tsukasa. But to Tsukasa, it felt like a hollow victory, knowing full well this was not his win.
Tsukasa stands up straight with his right arm covering across his stomach, almost softening a wound. He turns and glares furiously as an Aurora Curtain manifests temporarily and Narutaki emerges from it. Yusuke groans, getting really annoyed. All of this, all of this was his fault.
''You did exactly as I hope you would do, Decade.'' Narutaki praises Tsukasa as he even applauds him. Scoffing with a cocky smirk, Tsukasa taunts him. ''Still part of your plan, Narutaki?''
Narutaki looks around him and he just smirks adjusting his glasses as he states. ''Either the main riders kill you or you kill them. In any case I still win.''
''Really?'' Tsukasa asks, pretending like he had no clue, looking around before shrugging his shoulders with a taunting smile. ''I don't see it.''
''True, you bested all of them…'' Narutaki begins to admit that Decade did beat every one of his past attempts to kill him, including this one… until he then says with a smirk. ''Though 1 rider still stands. Correct?''
Tsukasa then hears a click and widens his eyes as it is Diend, now standing behind him and pointing his gun behind his back.
''Daiki Kaito.'' Narutaki reveals with an evil smirk. This shocks Yusuke and Natsumi while Dragonic glares calmly. Absol didn't make a face silently moving towards the two.
''Kaito, you…'' Tsukasa, the most shocked, utters out horrified by this betrayal. After all the help he gave him, Kaito is still a thief and a backstabber.
Shrugging his shoulders, Kaito is amazed Tsukasa fell for the idea they were a duo. He prefers being a solo.
''No hard feelings, Tsukasa-san? Remember, don't ever stand in-'' Diend begins to say amused by how naïve that-
But before he could finish his words, Diend is suddenly blasted by the chest and sends him hard onto the ground. Everyone is startled as the shot comes from between Tsukasa's left arm. Smirking, Tsukasa pulls out his Ride Booker in gun form, having it concealed under his elbow to face the injury he ''receives''.
''You're mistaken as always'' Tsukasa begins to say, turning to look at the partly stunned Diend, having seen through his obvious trap and was playing along until Kaito reveals his real colors. Pointing his finger salute at him, Tsukasa adds still smirking. ''I do always stand in your way.''
Diend grunts though chuckling, not expecting that slight trick.
Tsukasa turns to Narutaki, holding up and tapping the Decade card twice before dunking it in.
''KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Tsukasa begins to shout as he moves his hands to push the levers of his belt. ''Hen-''
However Diend still chuckles as suddenly Tsukasa's calm composure face is turned into a stunning, painful face. He looks down to see Absol, biting his right leg for the 10th plus time already.
''Mutt, this isn't the time to be biting me!'' Tsukasa lectures the mon off but then he notices the grim, regretful expression Absol has staring back at him. This concerned Tsukasa for once, asking her. ''Mutt?''
Absol simply whines or anxious as her horn glows of Night Slash. This shocks everyone, even Dragonic. The dragon flies to stop her but Diend, having gotten back up, immediately shoots at Yusuke, causing the dragon to block and intercept the blasts.
''ABSOL NO!'' Natsumi screams out ordering the mon to stop but Absol doesn't listen, consuming the shock Tsukasa in her attack, exploding on impact. Natsumi widens her eyes, shaking softly before letting out a shrieking scream. ''TSUKASA-KUN!''
Author's Note: Time to clarify things:
1) ''Decade has no story'' is probably the thing that best describes Tsukasa… he has no story. I MEAN- I hate this idea because the whole event of Decade is supposed to be his story so- BLEH, that line still pisses me off. Basically in the proper canon of Decade, Tsukasa was told to destroy the riders of the 9 A.R Worlds (they didn't mention A.R. worlds until later on) but Natsumi convinced him somewhat to help those riders and solve their worlds' problems which he did… but that was not what Tsukasa was supposed to do. He was supposed to destroy them and then... POOF? It was never clarified. That stupid line pissed me off and coming from Wataru only made me madder. Like why Wataru? The guy who would not say that because he would say EVERYONE HAS A STORY. SIGH.
So I sort of… fixed that. Decade's ''No Story'' is that Tsukasa runs away from his world after losing Sayo, so he travels and enters into other stories, to avoid his own self, his own story. Him being this rider who must fix the destruction of the Rider Worlds and destroy any threats to them is not his story, but his duty (even Dragonic told him that) and once it is done; what happens to Decade? I guess that would be the explanation why Narutaki hated his duties; they were not his story. So for Tsukasa, it's the same. So what will happen if he does win? Will Decade cease to exist or rinse & repeat?
Tsukasa's response: He doesn't care. Why should he? He fights for the stories of the other riders, of those he bonded. He doesn't care about himself; he's content with who he is. He chooses being Decade, a destroyer, a hero, all in one so the story of others don't cease to exist. Well, at least the stories of Heroes, of Kamen Riders.

3) Kuuga Rising Ultimate… and for once real Yusuke got this form? How? UM… I won't say it here… but if you read in the near future of my other main fanfic, Yu-Gi-Oh! Dragon Knight Reborn, you might find out and more!
4) I had to do the berserk Kuuga because that's basically A.R. Yusuke's biggest problem and SORT of redo the Dream but with a twist. I had to do the outburst of a berserk Ultimate Form A.R. Kuuga because it's basically tradition, though I did give it a different twist with Tsukasa not killing his Yusuke. Buddies!
5) Kaito BETRAYS Tsukasa?! … Yea, what a surprise? The real shocker is Absol too?! WHY?!
