Disclaimer: This story is a Side Story to Yu-Gi-Oh! Dragon Knight Reborn! I do not own Kamen Rider Decade or any Kamen Rider Series. Characters may be SLIGHTLY OOC due to the story and events. I do own an OC in this story but I will not say who yet.
This is Chapter 17 of the Decade Side Story for DKR. Please enjoy it like a fan for Kamen Rider and for Dragon Knight Reborn.
Chapter 17: The Purgatory of the Journey
Looking around his surroundings, Tsukasa finds himself in this empty, space-like dimension. He looks around, scoffing as he was expecting more for a place like this. He died protecting Natsumi and now he's well… he isn't sure but he's certain he must be in Hell.
''So this is Hell?'' Tsukasa comments wishing he had his camera to take a photo of this lie. ''I was expecting endless fire, dread and screams of agony… Lucifer at the least.''
''This is actually the world between Life and the Afterlife, Onii-chan.'' Tsukasa suddenly startles with a shocking expression. He turns around and there, up ahead is a bright light. The light is almost blinding but Tsukasa can see someone standing over it, a young girl around her 15s. He recognizes her, muttering out. ''Sayo?''
The girl looks at him and smiles softly, speaking happily. ''You look very cool, Onii-chan!''
Tsukasa stares speechless, never imagining he would ever see his sister… then again he just died so he shouldn't be surprised. He slowly smiles, calming down as he eyes her. He is amazed that even in the afterlife, his sister has grown.
''H-how's… you know?'' He begins to ask her, hesitating to say how their parents are doing and how they all are doing being dead. Sayo smiles, happy her brother is still the same stubborn boy from when she was alive.
''It's been fine. I'm with Papa and Mama.'' She tells him softly, a bit sad. She was sad to have died but she got over time… though seeing her big brother here both made her happy yet sadden.
Tsukasa smiles, not having seen them in a long time. He even admits while acting cocky like he always does. ''It would be nice to see them again.''
She stares at him and slowly frowns, depressed, tears dripping from her eyes. Tsukasa finally notices that, muttering out of worry. ''Sayo?''
Sayo rubs off the tears on her face. She's still sad to have left her brother in the world of the living, blaming himself for her death. It was never her intention to cause her big brother such suffering.
''I…'' She begins muttering; happy to see him after so long and yet crushed he died unable to stop the bad guy. Sayo has been watching from the afterlife, seeing her big brother grow up seemingly alone, even more arrogant than he was as kids until he met that nice girl and became this Kamen Rider. He's still the same but he has done so much good with the powers and lessons he's bestowed on many. For him to die like that so cruel against that bad man, it wasn't fair.
''I don't want you to come here yet, Onii-chan. You're still needed over there.'' Sayo expresses with a frown towards him.
Tsukasa eyes her and scoffs with a small smirk.
''Needed huh?'' He questions that word. He was needed to cause destruction, nothing else. He eyes her and protests. ''I'm a Destroyer with multiple other titles that makes me evil. All I've done is caused more harm than good.''
Sayo frowns, aware of that but she knows better though. She's aware of her brother's acts but they were not his fault and he tried to make things work for everyone.
''Besides, I paid for my sins. I can accept going to the afterlife now.'' Tsukasa admits with a small smile, able to accept death and move on. Sayo, however, can't help but shake her head in protest.
''You blame yourself so much Onii-chan and you're wrong.'' Sayo speaks up, opposing her brother's idea that he can die now. ''There is one person who still needs you, who can't go on without you.''
Tsukasa stares at her puzzled, not following what she meant by that… until it hits him. She couldn't mean…
In the living world, Natsumi sobs deeply and is still kneeling down on the ground. She gasps in despair, having watched Tsukasa die for her and now he's gone. Yusuke still has a face of dread, feeling like he should have done more while Diend clenches his hands, furious at himself too.
''Tsukasa-san…'' Natsumi mutters heart-broken, crying as she remembers every bit of Tsukasa. Just then the ground shakes to everyone's alarm. They turn as the mountain suddenly explodes and emerges out is Edaced, breathing angrily.
''Naïve, Decade!'' The voice of Narutaki through the monstrous Frankenstein being yells out in a humorous voice towards Tsukasa's last words. ''I have the power to prevent the revival of all worlds including their riders!''
The dark stormy sky releases bolts of electricity as he declares, taunting the dead rider. ''All you did was do my job. And I applaud all to you!''
Natsumi ignores him, still crying over Tsukasa's death. Yusuke, however, grits his teeth as he pulls himself up.
''How dare you.'' Edaced hums turning towards Yusuke calling him out, glaring so enraged before he yells out of furious. ''HOW DARE YOU MOCK TSUKASA-SAN'S SACRIFICE?!''
Natsumi startles turning to eye him as Yusuke has never become this angry before.
''He's gone through everything to save Natsumi because he was no devil or destroyer!'' Yusuke proclaims loudly, having seen Tsukasa do many acts but all of his acts were righteous and good. Regardless of everyone saying otherwise, Tsukasa was never a devil and Natsumi made it possible. ''Natsumi… made Tsukasa-san a hero!''
Natsumi is startled to hear that still sobbing but she smiles a bit for his kind words. Yusuke breathes waving his arms as the Arcle belt manifests around his waist. Recalling the last words of the real Yusuke, he plans to keep his promise and protect those smiles.
''I won't let you vanished her smile or anyone else's!'' Yusuke proclaims, determined as he slams his hand palms on both sides of his belt, shouting as he does the arm poses. ''HENSHIN!''
Yusuke glows and transforms into Kuuga. He comes charging at the evil monster who chuckles at his assumption that he will even fight him.
''Again then?'' Edaced proclaims raising his right hand and fires a stream of darkness upon the charging Kuuga. The rider is consumed in darkness, screaming in agony as he tries to suppress this evil already changing him in Ultimate form with his eyes turning black.
''GAAAH…'' Kuuga yells in agony trying to hold himself together but the darkness was becoming too much for him. He feels himself drifting into that void, that empty rage, that-
''Yusuke, believe in your own smile too!'' Kuuga staggers, trying to turn his head to eye Natsumi, cheering for him to not give in. Reminded of every rider, of every person, of Tsukasa; Yusuke can't let this darkness control him but to control it.
His dark bug visors slowly turning red again, Kuuga breathes as he tightens his fists, focusing on those thoughts of protecting the smiles of everyone as shines of gold shine through the darkness consuming him.
''HAAA!'' Kuuga yells out standing up fully as the shine becomes brighter. This alarms Edaced, watching in shock. ''What?!''
Natsumi watches astonished as did Diend, staring as the darken Kuuga shines and pushes the darkness. The monster braces himself, watching in surprise as Kuuga has become Rising Ultimate form. Kuuga breathes a bit taken back, looking at himself.
''Rising Ultimate…'' Diend mutters slightly amazed. This enrages Edaced, protesting madden. ''Impossible! No A.R. Rider should have the power to tap into their Final Forms!''
Kuuga stares at him and raises his right fist at him, declaring serious. ''And that was your mistake; underestimating our potential!''
Kuuga now charges forward as Edaced fires more dark spheres. The evolved Kuuga easily swipes them away with a swing of his arm, repelling the spheres of darkness. He comes at him with a punch but Edaced catches the fist with ease. Kuuga groans pushing forward but the monster holds his grip while Kuuga glows golden.
Edaced snickers, repelling the rider's powers with his darkness as he proclaims confidently. ''Means little to me. I wield the power of all monsters including my own power!''
Waving his free hand, Edaced manifests an Aurora Curtain and bashes it onto Kuuga's side like a solid wall, slamming him aside. The monster then holds up that same hand as another Aurora Curtain manifests over Kuuga and it shoots down multiple spikes, hitting across Kuuga as sparks fly out. Kuuga grunts dropping to his knees.
''It changes nothing if you can use the Ultimate power of Kuuga, you cannot beat me!'' Edaced proclaims posed by his superior strength. He now walks towards Kuuga until the voice of the Diendriver announces. ''ATTACK RIDE: DIEND BLAST!''
Multiple energy shots hit Edaced across his back. He partly staggered with no damage but it did annoy him. He turns around to stare at Diend who just fired at him.
''What is the meaning of this, Daiki Kaito?'' Edaced asked him angrily. Diend twirls his gun before answering him coldly. ''You killed my rival. That was not part of the deal.''
Edaced scoffs at his foolish assumptions and reminds him. ''We both knew it was.''
Diend admits that he got too full of himself to ever think Narutaki would keep the end of their deal and now Tsukasa is died. As much as… his past haunts him; Kaito has never experienced such excitement in his entire life ever since he clashed with Tsukasa. That guy is just like him, both running away from their own past and only wish to enjoy their futures in their own way. Now he's gone... and Kaito has to fix his mistake.
''Then I guess I have a change of heart.'' Diend proclaims before firing multiple shots at the monster, pushing it back though he takes no damage.
''Daiki-kun?'' Natsumi mutters shocked. He betrayed them and yet after everything, he wants to help now. Diend looks at her and apologizes for what he's done. ''Sorry. I'll make it up to you for losing your treasure, Natsumi-chan.''
Natsumi stares at him and just nods, trusting him. Diend nods, walking over and stands beside Rising Ultimate Kuuga still on his knees. He tells him. ''Let's do this, Yusuke.''
Kuuga is startled by his change of heart but he appreciates it. He stands back up and proclaims with determination. ''For Tsukasa-san!''
The two riders come charging at Edaced who summons an Aurora Curtain and multiple monsters came out of them. The two riders clash against the monster, blasting or punching them as they are destroyed. Edaced though fires a wave of darkness, blasting the two back.
''Pathetic!'' He declares dashing with Clock Up and kicks them with massive strength, slamming them aside.
Watching them fight, Natsumi is certain that Tsukasa would call them idiots before joining them. Smiling that regardless of all they have gone through, Tsukasa did have a good heart. Realizing that, she finds herself standing back up.
Edaced punches Kuuga and notices the girl back on her feet. This staggers him, questioning this. ''How are you still standing?''
Natsumi frowns sadly, not sure why she's still standing. She didn't want to, not with Tsukasa… but she shouldn't give up on Tsukasa after he gave his life for her. She sobs, losing him but… but he would mock her for crying in his kind way. She immediately wipes the tears off her face, speaking up determinedly. ''It's because Tsukasa-kun saved me. It would be wrong of me to cry for him until you're stopped!''
Edaced sulks at such nonsense and instead proclaims raising his right arm towards her. ''Then allow me to send you where your grandfather is waiting for you!''
Kuuga and Diend startle coming at him but the monster releases them with his left hand, releasing a wave that pushes them back. He then proceeds to fire a sphere of destruction right at Natsumi, watching while trembling. She isn't sure she can move away as the blast comes at her fast. She thought for a moment that she would see Tsukasa on the other side until something fast gets in front of her and blocks the energy sphere. She watches in surprise that it's Absol, growling as she uses Detect.
''ABSOL!'' The mon barks thrusting her head upward and redirecting the energy sphere up to the sky before exploding. Natsumi watches, eyeing the mon that she came back to.
''Absol!'' She utters out blushing. The mon turns around facing the young girl and frowns with a look of sadness
''Absol! Absol…'' The mon barks, upset, trying to explain her reasons for hurting them and failing them but she came back seeing the death of Tsukasa when he was protecting her. She sobs realizing her horrible mistake, afraid he too was someone bad but he wasn't. After all the times she has bitten him; she really does like him as she barks crying. ''ABSOL-ABSOL!''
Just staring at her in silence, Natsumi slowly walks up to the mon. She looks at her and smiles kneeling down to her, petting her. Absol blinks not following.
''I can't understand you unlike Tsukasa-kun and Dragonic-kun…'' Natsumi admits not being able to understand what the mon is trying to tell her but seeing her cry confirms she's in pain. There she hugs Absol deeply, begging her kindly. ''But please don't leave me too. I don't know what happened to you and it still hurts that you betrayed us after we became close…''
She looks at the mon and smiles sobbing a bit, pleading with her. ''But I don't want to hate you either because you're a good girl, Absol-chan!''
Absol stares at her speechless by her words and smiles softly. Natsumi smiles as the two face the monster who growls annoyed at them.
''ANNOYING PESTS! DISAPPEAR!'' Edaced shouts enraged coming at them. Absol barks, engaging the monster, clashing her horn blade upon his right claws. He tries swinging his other claws but Absol twirls around fast and repels with her bladed tail, sparks flying off.
Natsumi watches firmly, fully aware she needs to do something to help her friend… and then it hits her.
''Attack moves? So I could order Absol to use her abilities?'' Natsumi begins to recall her question she asked Dragonic about how people can use Pokémon. The dragon explains to her that trainers, those who own Pokémon, or any human with a strong connection with a mon is a powerful bond.
''The impossible bonds between humans and Pokémon; the endless potential both can do than alone.'' Dragonic's past voice explained to her back then of this important bond. Natsumi starts realizing as she suddenly declares loudly. ''Absol-chan, use Night Slash!''
Almost in response, Absol smirks as she waves her head around and fires a powerful dark energy beam from her horn, striking upon Edaced and pushes him back. Natsumi drops her jaw partly taken back that even works out so well.
''Woah, that work. Um…'' Natsumi begins muttering, not remembering the other moves. She pulls out phone and checks the list of names of attacks that Absol has that Dragonic and even Tsukasa confirmed. She nods and commands the mon. ''Use Play Rough!''
Absol dashes at the Frankenstein monster but he takes flight, dodging her attack. He laughs mocking their attempts to attack him, proclaiming loudly at the mon. ''You choose to fight for this girl is your mistake and a mistake you will regret!''
Absol growls with senses of hesitation. Immediately Natsumi protests passionately towards the monster. ''Wrong! Absol-chan is also someone special to me like she is to Tsukasa-kun!''
Natsumi places her right hand over her jet and expresses with a strong belief. ''I won't let you mock her! This bond won't break us!''
Edaced scoffs at this and lifts up his hand. Suddenly an Aurora Curtain appears and swallows Natsumi as well as Absol before another manifest over the sky and he declares as the two fall out from the portal in shock. ''Then the two of you become splats of blood!''
''No!'' Kuuga shouts leaping up high as Diend tries to summon riders but Edaced moves in front of both so fast he kicks them away hard.
''ABSOL!'' Natsumi screams of terror, grabbing on to the mon with both arms. She isn't sure what to do to prevent themselves from crashing to their deaths. Absol looks down, also not sure either… but she didn't want Natsumi to die. She didn't want to fail her after she re-forged her trust in her. She wants- she has to not fail her and their bond ever again.
Just then the stone in Absol's ribbon shines as does the bracelet around Natsumi's wrist. She startles feeling a strange sensation, almost linking herself with Absol and then Absol begins to glow. The glow erupts and quickly vanishes and Natsumi then notices they weren't falling fast but gently.
''Absol?'' She begins to question looking down and startles in amazement. Kuuga and Diend watch as Absol has transformed into Mega Absol. Her fur is longer and the increased energy coursing through her body makes the fur at the back of her mane stand on end so that she appears to have wings. The spikes on her heels and elbows grow larger, and the fur in these areas becomes longer as well. Her sickle-shaped horn widens, while an additional, smaller horn appears on the opposite side of her head. Her tail now has a more saw-like shape, and the oval marking on her forehead is now a rounded triangle.
''Absol!'' Absol responds smiling as she flaps her wings and releases a powerful burst of dark energy to gently land on the ground with Natsumi. She sighs of relief, thanking her with a hug. ''Nice one, Absol-chan!''
Absol smirks as she quickly uses Detect and blocks Edaced Clock Up claw swipe. This shocks the monster as Mega Absol comes charging and slashes Edaced with Psycho Cut with greater force than before, slamming him backwards but still standing his ground. He growls attacking the mon again as Mega Absol is able to keep up with him.
Natsumi watches breath taken by how much stronger Absol has become. She eyes the bracelet Dragonic put on her glowing, even more puzzled.
''Amazing. What even happened?'' She finally asks herself. Surprisingly she gets her response by a familiar voice speaking. ''Oh just arrived to see my hunch working out, Mega Evolution!''
Natsumi startles and turns to see Dragonic, adjusting his fedora hat. She slowly smiles and cries as she tackles him with a hug, yelling of relief. ''Dragonic!''
Dragonic blinks awkwardly but blushes happily to be thought of.
''You're really okay!'' She says, relieved that he's here now. The dragon sighs also upset it took him this long to get back.
''Black Holes are very annoying to get out of them unless you have Instant Transmission, well my version of it.'' He expresses, basically sucked inside the black hole until he detected a strong, familiar surge of energy to pull him out. Luckily he's good at detecting auras without trying, it just took him longer to get out of the damn light sucking event. It's why he wishes to avoid those damn things... and if it was a Super Black Hole, it would be worst.
Natsumi just stares at him with a look of confusion, sweat dropping heavily. She wasn't the brightest in Science class as she utters. ''An Instant what? Black hole?!''
Dragonic nods, adjusting his hat as he changes subjects. ''Anyway, I knew you would help Absol to unlock her Mega Evolve.''
Natsumi blinks even more awkwardly, not following. The dragon sighs as he explains it, watching Absol fight that Narutaki is still a monster freak. ''It's a further evolution that requires a Mega Stone of that specific mon and the user to have a Key Stone.''
''Key Stone?'' Natsumi mutters and then she looks at the bracelet. She waves her hand at the dragon who nods confirming it to be a Key Stone.
''When a human and a Pokemon with a Mega Stone have a strong bond, it unlocks that mon's full potential.'' Dragonic explains smiling, watching as Mega Absol's Night Slash bashes the monster back. ''And such potential comes with incredible power, a bond that surpasses their limits.''
Natsumi smiles warmly that her bond with Absol created such power but only for a moment, frowning as Tsukasa's camera dangles on her neck. She holds it, her hand shaking as she eyes the dragon.
''Dragonic… Tsukasa-kun, he…'' She starts telling him but couldn't bring herself to say it, frowning sadly. Dragonic looks around to see Kuuga Rising Ultimate, most likely their Yusuke, and Diend but no-
''Decade is no more!'' Dragonic now turns as Mega Absol is thrust back right beside Natsumi by the power of Edaced. ''And soon all remaining riders will follow!''
Dragonic stares at him calmly and stern until he slowly cracks a smirk.
''Are you sure about that?'' Edaced soon staggers looking at the dragon questioning him, still smirking. Natsumi eyes him confused, not following as the dragon walks up slowly towards the monster and proclaims passionately, pointing his finger at the monster like Tsukasa would. ''Miracles can occur even in the darkest of situations. And Tsukasa-kun will become that miracle!''
That enrages Edaced, his body vibrating with sinister dark power.
''NONSENSE! DECADE IS-'' He begins to protest that Decade is no more, no story whatsoever but immediately Dragonic counters loudly. ''Decade has no story for his true story is limitless! Thus he can never be forgotten, he can never be erased; he can be revived through memory alone! For Decade, for Tsukasa, is everlasting!''
Edaced growls furious not understanding what he's saying but he did understand one thing: He will not allow Decade to come back.
He waves his arm to summon another Aurora Curtain coming towards Dragonic but the dragon without looking swipes his tail onto the portal and it shatters on impact. Edaced staggers as he comes at him with Clock Up only to find himself claw swipe by a much faster Dragonic appearing in front of him, floating in the air. Hissing as his body glows in an almost silver aura while his arms wave around swiftly; Dragonic strikes the Frankenstein-like monster with multiple claw strikes, over a hundred before the last one slams Edaced so hard it knocks him inside a mountainside.
Dragonic gently lands on the ground and then suddenly appears back to where he was with Natsumi before she could even respond to what just happened.
''Natsumi-chan, do you really want to see him?'' Natsumi turns towards Dragonic as he begins asking her honestly. ''Do you still believe in Tsukasa-kun?''
Natsumi stares at him and she nods, wanting to see him. Dragonic smiles and tells her pointing his claw at her purse. ''Then take out the photos he gave you.''
She blinks and nods, pulling out all of the photos of each world that Tsukasa took pictures of.
''The photos that Tsukasa took throughout his journey and remember him, deep in your heart, to create a miracle.'' Dragonic advises her as Natsumi still didn't follow but if a miracle can happen, then it's worth it. She nods, trusting him. ''Right!''
She looks down on the photos, thinking back of all the good Tsukasa has done and grateful for all the heroic deeds he's done even if it was to boost his ego… but most of all grateful for having him in her life.
''Tsukasa-kun…'' Natsumi tells herself, wishing to see him again as she stares at the last photo of them up the photos with the last unfocused photo in front, Natsumi and Dragonic raises it over the sky and focuses on it.
Edaced growls not following as he tries to attack but Mega Absol gets in his way again, barking
''Please, please.'' She begs, hoping this works. Kuuga grunts, raising his hand towards the photo. Even Diend raises his hand towards the photo too. Not just them but each A.R. Rider Tsukasa has met throughout his journey, also thought of him, wondering what he's doing and believing in him.
As they all did, the photos all started to glow.
Tsukasa stares at his sister, admitting that he's aware that she's referring to Natsumi but she no longer needs him. She will move on with her life and become happier without this badass, egoistic guy like himself. Besides, he can finally be with his sister now. He has no reason to return to the living.
''Sayo, I don't want to leave you again. That is my choice.'' He tells her, making up his mind. Sayo understands his feeling, already tired of all the torment he's gone through… but she knows his time is not yet, not like this.
''I know you don't but I was able to watch over you, seeing you keeping my promise.'' She begins to tell her older brother, grateful he's kept his vow to him. So happy he's been visiting many different worlds and capturing their images as a memory to never be forgotten. She smiles aware he's doing this because he blames himself for her death but he shouldn't, telling him kindly. ''I don't regret asking you for giving me that final moment outside, Onii-chan.''
Tsukasa stares at her hesitantly, wishing he never did that… but he can't help but smile thinking back how happy she was in her final moments.
Sayo begins floating towards him, holding his hands with hers. She smiles gracefully for everything he's done for her and will always be grateful but she knows that he's still needed. But regardless of what others call him and what he does; she will always be eternally happy being the younger sister of Tsukasa Kadoya.
''No matter who says otherwise, no matter how many you destroy for the greater good; you're always going to be my beloved Onii-chan: Someone I love from the bottom of my heart and soul.'' Sayo expresses deeply, tears of joy dripping from her eyes for the love of her older brother.
Tsukasa stares at her, holding her hands back. In the deepest of his core; he's happy that his sister does love him. He smiles softly, grateful for seeing her again. He just wishes he could… wishes he could be here longer but…
Suddenly he startles, noticing his body glowing. One of his hands is starting to fade away and not that he's dying again but rather being taken back to the world of the living. There he hears a familiar voice calling out. ''COME BACK, TSUKASA-KUN!''
Sayo giggles figuring as much as she informs her brother. ''I guess they're calling you Onii-chan.''
''Sayo…'' Tsukasa mutters, watching as his sister distances herself from him. She smiles warmly as she tells him honestly sad yet happy. ''I won't be able to see you again for a long, long, probably the longest of time but it's fine because you've found amazing friends and worlds to visit. And she's waiting for you so you can fill her life too.''
Tsukasa starts to get that message. In a way, he starts to get that Natsumi does need him after all. Sayo smiles as she then embraces her brother with a hug with Tsukasa smiling softly.
''But I will always be part of you, always.'' Sayo says to her brother as he starts to fade away and asks him with a sweat drop. ''And please, you don't have to act always cool, Onii-chan.''
Tsukasa cracks a smirk as he corrects her confidently. ''Sayo, I'm a flawless, perfect older brother. I have to act cool.''
Sayo didn't answer, just smiling, almost happy to hear that. Tsukasa still smiles as he says, trying to do his hand point gesture towards her. ''I'll see you later, little sister.''
Sayo giggles mimicking his hand point, like the time they were kids. Tsukasa smiles, staring at her one final time as the light covers his view, uttering out his final words of love. ''And thank you, for always loving me.''
Author's Note: Time to clarify things:
1) As a greater twist, the climax of the story is based on the Decade Novel… but different for very obvious reasons... and the last Decade movie.
2) So Tsukasa's death would allow all the worlds and the riders to be restored? Yea, Narutaki is strong enough to stop that and cause the end of the Rider Multiverse.
3) Pissed off, Kaito will not accept that. Yusuke, blaming himself, not only overpowered the darkness of the Ultimate Form and became Rising Ultimate. And Absol, having run away from the guilt of betraying them, returned to protect Natsumi and the two were able to sync allowing Absol to Mega Evolve… ALL OF THAT not enough against Narutaki's monster form.
4) Dragonic return from his Black Hole trapping and damaged Narutaki with an oddly familiar move hmm... Almost like he was in deep instinct.
5) The Revival of Tsukasa Kadoya. YEP, Kamen Rider fans must have been laughing while the rest of you were like ''OH NO HE'S DEAD! ''. Yea, see also in the Decade x W Movie Special… eh, Decade's final story should not have been shared… Anyway, Natsumi used the photos of all the worlds Tsukasa went to revive him by just remembering him. And the explanation to that was yea, Tsukasa can come back from the dead.
IN HERE, Dragonic (after he came back from being stuck in a Black Hole temporarily… YEA, Immortal Dragon was gone like 15ish minutes at best and came back okay) explained to Natsumi that since Tsukasa has no story and that means he can create a story, his story; thus is part of the powers of Decade, the power to be revived through memory alone. So Natsumi with everyone's help revived Tsukasa (who at the time had his final words with Sayo in between the afterlife and their final, sweet goodbye between siblings).
