Hey, guys I'm back again with another chapter. I don't have much to say other then this chapter has some more Rorkota moments yes Rorkota is my official ship name for the two. Also some secret agent moments as well, this part of the episode was the prefect opportunity for them anyway I've got nothing else to say other then enjoy the chapter.

Chapter 3 Devising the Plan

"You're not actually thinking of coming back, are you?" Benny asked Ethen over the phone, "'Cause I seriously doubt you could top that faint."

"Did Spock give up when he watched Vulcan sucked out of existence by a single drop of red matter?" Ethen questioned with an icepack to his head,

"I really wish I understood that reference," Esamanda spoke,

"Sorry, dude, you're on your own later," Benny said hastily hanging up after getting called over for his turn,

"Great, first Dakota, now Benny." Emily spoke, walking up to us, "Who else is going to act like a lovesick idiot today?!"

"Emily, relax." Ethen reassured, trying to calm her down, "We still have plenty of hands-on deck. Erica won't be getting any blood on our watch."

"She better not. But then again, would anyone even notice?" She questioned,

"That is a good question." Lizzy realized, "I mean, where is she going to keep it where it won't draw any suspicion?"

"She has her ways." I cut in, "Knowing Erica. She'd store the blood in our lockers and turn a blind eye when we're caught."

"That does sound like Erica." Emily nodded, "Okay, here's the plan; we double our surveillance. Esamanda and I are going to scout out the perimeter in the vents. The rest of you can keep an eye out here. We'll regroup in a half-hour for a secret room meeting sounds good?"

"Yes, I love the secret room." I cheered, "It makes everything feel more secret agenty."

"Funny, I think Rory feels the same way," Ethen commented,

"Of course, he does." Emily sighed, but even she admitted the secret room was awesome.

"Sarah." Ethen called out, seeing her by the vending machine, "Hey, you're doing okay with the whole..." He stopped mid-sentence as he saw the machine lying broken on the ground,

"Don't say it," Sarah replied sternly,

Emily sighed, "Let's move, ladies." We nodded and split up. Emily and Esamanda climbed into the vents and started looking around the school for anything suspicious. Meanwhile, myself, Lizzy, and Ethen went to find the rest of the group.

"So, after you're done for the day, what's say we grab a quick za?" Benny stopped awkwardly seeing the older nurse was attending him,

"I'm just here for the blood." She said plainly,

Benny looked over at Annie attending another patient, and she smiled at him,

"Fine." He smiled, "I'll… I'll just bleed then."

"Now you're getting it, sweetie."

"Ah." He winced as the nurse stuck the needle in his arm,

"Alright, Mabel." I said on the lookout, "See anything suspicious?"

"Well, that depends on what you mean by suspicious." She replied,

"That can mean anything vampire-related: Rory sneaking around, Blood bags mysteriously going missing."

"Erica standing by her locker with an accomplished look on her face." Mabel pointed out,

"Exactly, wow, Mabes, that's oddly specific." I noticed,

"No, Erica is standing by her locker right now, and she seems proud of something."

"That's never good." I sighed, wondering what to do,

"Should we get the others?" Mabel suggested,

"No, I'm going in." I decided, "Maybe I can get some information out of her. Either that or tell her to stay away from our man."

"Are you sure that's a good idea? Because the last time you tried that, you fainted on top of Ethen."

"Yeah, because I was talking to Rory." I reasoned, "I won't faint in front of Erica. But stand by in case I start feeling woozy."

"Alright, now get out there, girl." She encouraged,

I walked over to Erica's locker, only turning back to see where Mabel hid. I saw her behind the corner, and we gave each other thumbs up,

"Hey, Erica." I greeted,

"Oh, Dakota, hey, how are you feeling? You hit the floor pretty hard earlier. Does your head hurt? She wondered,

I couldn't help but smile. It was nice seeing Erica show genuine concern for my well-being,

"Yeah, I'm fine. I've just been a little weaker around Rory lately."

"Right, Emily told me your crush has been getting obsessive lately. I don't think I need to remind you, but Rory is four years older than you."

"His birthday was last week," I added,

"Really, he's fifteen now? Wait, never mind, what I'm saying is, you need to get a grip on your emotions before you do something you'll regret in the future."

"I know I do, but I can't help myself. I love Rory. He really knows how to make my heart go crazy," I explained, blushing a little,

"Aww, you really have it bad, don't you?" Erica cooed, stroking my hair,

"I'm nuttier than a fruit cake." I smiled,

"We better keep an eye on that for the future." She said, ruffling my hair,

"What about you and Rory? He seems pretty attracted to you."

Erica shook her head, "I don't like him that way. He is so not my type."

"I had a feeling, but is it weird that I think you two would make a nice match."

"Maybe back when we were humans. But now I'm pretty sure everyone will mistake him as my brother."

"Yeah, you do look similar to each other. I can understand that logic."

"Trust me, Dakota, if you were older, you can have him." Erica smiled, "Now I have to go. I'll see you later."

"Bye Erica, see you later. And thanks, that's really kind of you." I waved,

"Well, that went surprisingly well." Mabel came forward,

"Yeah, so well that I forgot to ask her what she was up to." I shrugged, trying to recall the last time Erica and I had such a normal conversation,

"So, since the interrogation didn't go well, we should regroup." Mabel figured,

"Alright, let's find Ethen and Benny." I nodded, the two of us ran off to look for our friends.

Meanwhile, Rory was in stealth mood sneaking along the lockers when he turned the corner and ran into Ethen and Amy.

Hey, Ror…" Ethen greeted,

"I can't tell you anything. Erica will kill me. Though I already said too much." Rory panicked, backing away right into Benny. "Ga, not cool."

"Hey, Rory, how's it…." I tied to greet,

"I'm not acting suspicious. You're acting suspicious." He blurted, walking away,

"Well, that's not weird at all." Mabel looked back at the blond with a weird look on her face,

"What's up with Count Darkula?" Benny asked, eating a cookie,

"Sounds like Erica's pulling his strings." Ethen guessed,

"So, she's the puppet master!" Benny gasped,

"I bet they're after the blood." Ethen realized,

"We better put a stop to this before they get caught," I stated,

"Yeah, nobody uses our vampire boyfriend and gets away with it." Mabel declared,

"Wait, you guys are official?!" Benny questioned alarmingly,

"No, but I wish we were," Mabel admitted, which made Ethen and Benny sigh in relief,

"Thank goodness Emily will kill us if you were." Benny sighed, relieved that he wouldn't need to face her rath this time,

"I would be more worried about Dakota and Mabel." Ethen glared,

"Um, guys, we've got more important matters to deal with." Amy reminded,

"That's right. They're after the crimson nectar. Time to call in the big gun."

"If you're referring to Sarah, let's not." I shot down, "She's got enough on her plate already. Erica could use that against her."

"Dakota's right. It's up to us. It's time we got our hands dirty."

"Good thing I brought hand sanitizer." Benny said, holding it up, "You were speaking metaphorically, weren't you?"

"Yeah, sorry, bud." I smiled apologetically,

"Gotcha." He nodded, putting the sanitizer away,

"So, anyone have a plan?" I inquired,

"I might have one," Ethen spoke up,

"We're listening." We said,

"All right, here's the plan." He said we gathered around as Ethen explained the plan to us. We nodded and split up to inform the others. A little while later, Ethen and I found Rory cleaning his sunglasses by his locker.

"So, remember the plan," Ethen asked me,

"You bet I do; our job is to distract him while Benny implants a GPS in his backpack." I relayed,

"Good, we're going in." We got out of hiding and approached Rory.

"Hey." We said,

"Dude, I told you lips sealed." Rory insisted,

"Well, would you be willing to unseal those lips for a kiss?" I flirted, grabbing him by his backpack straps and pulling him closer to me,

"Sorry, Dakota, not even a kiss will unseal these lips." He replied,

"Aw man, guess I borrowed this watermelon Chapstick for nothing." I frowned, holding it up,

Just then, the vent grate slammed open, reviling Emily, "Yeah, you better back off! If your lips touch his lips, you're dead!"

"Who him or me?" I questioned, pointing to Rory and myself,

"Both of you." She replied sternly, closing the vent grate, but opened it again when she realized, "Hey, that's my watermelon Chapstick!"

"Okay, you've done enough. Get out of here." Ethen tried to contain his laughter as he ushered me down the hall,

"Fine." I gave in but not before grabbing Rory again, "You are so mine later." I whispered, making his face turn red,

He sighed, resting his back on the locker, facepalming, "I swear that girl will be the death of me."

"Yeah, she's got it pretty bad." Ethen smiled,

"You know I don't remember her being so."

"Obsessive?"

"Aggressive, and that would be really hot if she wasn't underage. Having a ten-year-old act that way is kind of concerning." Rory admitted,

"Do you want us to keep her away from you until she calms down?" Ethen wondered as Benny snuck around the corner, implanting the GPS in Rory's backpack,

"No, it's fine. I'll talk to her later today, and hopefully, it will be enough to calm her down."

"Okay, just remember if she does anything that pushes boundaries, push her down and say no," Ethen advised as Benny gave him a thumbs up, meaning mission accomplished,

"Dude, what do you think I'm gonna do? Traumatize her? I might not know how to date a girl. But I think I'm smart enough to know how to deal with an obsessive ten-year-old." He insisted,

"Alright then, Good luck, buddy." Ethen said, patting his shoulder walking off, "Hopefully, she calms down, and it won't result in Emily killing you in your sleep." He muttered,

"Wait, what?" Rory questioned, concerned by the last bit,

Ethen rounded the corner and reunited with us,

"There you are, GPS is in place. We can now track Rory's position at all times." Benny explained,

"Well, never thought I'd say this, but. Let's spend the day following Rory around." Ethen smiled,

"Welcome to our every day." Mabel gushed, sitting on the lockers with me,

"Okay, that sounds stalkerish, but I'm not surprised at this point." Benny bushed off,

"Hey, we follow him around when he knows we're there." I defended,

"Well, there was that one time we followed him home without his knowledge," Mabel remembered, which led to some shocked faces from everyone,

"Okay, I know that sounds bad, but it was an experiment to see how far he could hear with his vampire super hearing."

"It was pretty impressive." Mabel noted, "By the way did you know he can hear things up to 20 miles away?"

"Wow, that is impressive." Emily spoke, "But you two are still skating on thin ice! Keep those unhealthy obsessions in check while we handle surveillance in the vents!"

"We're going in the vents?" I questioned,

"You bet we are to the secret room, ladies." Emily declared, pumping her fist, "You two stay out here."

"On it." Benny and Ethen nodded. The seven of us rushed to our lockers and opened the secret room,

"Alright, gang." Emily announced, wearing a drill sergeant hat pacing around us, "Our job is to stake out and record Rory and Erica's activities. If anyone notices anything suspicious, alert me on my walkie-talkie." She instructed,

"Ma'am, yes ma'am!" We saluted,

"Great, Cindy and Lizzy, you're stationed at the Northside of the school, Amy and Esamanda, you're stationed at the East side. Dakota, Mabel, you're with me. We're going to stake out Rory's locker. Mimi and Chloe, you can stand by and organize the vampire capture devices; in a worst-case scenario, we might need them. Any questions"

Most of us raised our hands

"Um, Mimi." She pointed at the paper girl,

"Out of everyone here, why are you going near Rory's locker? I thought you hated him." Mimi questioned,

"First of all, hate is such a strong word, Mimi. I mean, I wouldn't say I'm particularly fond of the blond, but I wouldn't say I hate him completely. And second of all, I'm positive the "Queen of Mean" will be relying on him for their little plan." Emily replied with air quotes, "Also, it gives me a chance to keep an eye on his little girlfriends who I know will abandon their posts to see him."

"Understood." We nodded,

"Great, any more questions?"

"Remind me again why we're making a big deal out of this?" Chloe spoke uprising her hand,

"We're making a big deal about this because if Erica is caught stealing blood, she could expose the vampire secret, not to mention she could kill someone," Emily explained,

"What are we going to with Rory?" Mabel wondered, slightly concerned for her crush's safety,

"Oh, he'll be fine. Rory is never a threat; he's so weak I'll be able to take him down with one arm tied behind my back." Emily started hiding her arm behind her back,

"Well, she's not wrong." I had to agree with Emily even if Rory was stronger thanks to his inhuman strength. He really was one of the weakest vampires of his kind.

"Alright, I think that covers everything. Everyone ready?" Cindy questioned,

"Ready as we'll ever be!" We shouted, saluting,

"Great to the vents!" Emily cheered. We scattered to the three vents shafts and climbed inside,

"You know, I think this is the first time I've crawled through the vents like this." I noticed,

"Yeah, I think this is my first time too." Mabel noticed as well, "You did a great job tricking them out, Emily."

"Thanks, Mabes. Took me a while, but now we can finally crawl through without worrying about getting ripped to pieces." She said,

"This will be so useful when we're late for class," Mabel stated just as Emily's walkie talkie started buzzing,

"Emily, this is Amy. Where are you over."

"Amy, this is Emily. I read ya; we're almost at Rory's locker. What's your status?"

"I saw Erica. She's heading in your direction. I estimate she'll be there in two minutes." She warned,

"Thanks, Amy. We'll keep our eyes open. Over and out." She said as we arrived at our destination,

"So, what do we do now, Emily?" I asked,

"Now we wait. If my hunch is correct, Erica will be here."

"Might as well sit back and enjoy the view," Mabel stated flirtishly, staring down at Rory,

"I knew I would regret bringing you both." Emily groaned, facepalming,

"Wait, what is Rory holding?" I questioned, pointing to some kind of diorama,

"No idea, but knowing him, it's probably not important." Emily brushed off,

I strained to see what Rory was holding. But thanks to the vent grate, my visibility and was hearing obscured. I was thinking of opening the vent when I heard footsteps,

"Does anyone hear that?" I whispered,

"That must be Erica target acquired," Emily replied,

We sat in silence as Erica came into view.

"Huh, I know it. Thank you, Amy." She whispered,

"Shh." I shushed, making sure Emily didn't give away our cover,

"Do you have a plan for the truck?" Erica asked Rory,

"Yep." He smiled, turning around to face her, "And it's tight, see? The spaceship is the blood truck. I'm the mini marshmallow; you're the red cinnamon heart. Because you're red hot." He flirted, "So, you wait here, out of sight while I attack the truck and remove anyone crazy enough my way." He demonstrated by using the marshmallow and smushing it around the setup,

"Ahem." Erica cleared her throat to get Rory's attention back,

"But, you know, I won't get mooshed up like that. We get in and take off with the blood."

"Great, that is…. fine." Erica said, "Do you have my laundry?"

"Hecks yeah, cleaned and pressed." He said, holding up clean clothes,

"Thanks, you're the best." Erica smiled,

"Is there a virus going around?" Emily questioned dryly, resting her head on her palm, "Because I swear everyone seems to have the hots for someone today."

"Can you even hear what they're saying?" Mabel asked,

"Something about Rory being a mini marshmallow and Erica being a red-hot cinnamon heart," Emily replied unsurely,

"Well, he is incredibly yummy." I flirted, licking my lips but regretting it a moment later, "That came out way less inappropriate in my head. Sorry guys, that's on me."

"Remind me to never leave you and Rory locked in a dark room together." The feisty angel glared at me,

"That might be a good idea," I admitted, embarrassed,

"Okay, are we done here?" Mabel questioned,

"Not yet I want a closer look at what they're planning," Emily explained about opening the vent only it wouldn't budge,

"Why won't this budge." She grunted, "Oh, that's right, the vent grate above Rory's locker is sealed on tight."

"Here, let me help you." I insisted, "Okay, on the count of three, we push ready? One, two, three now." The three of us put all our strength into opening the vent grate. Maybe a little too much because on the third push, the gate slammed open, nearly taking us out with it,

"What was that?" Erica questioned hearing the bang,

"No idea. Sounds like a vent grate slamming." Rory replied, "You don't think we're being watched, do you?"

"Oh, I know we're being watched." Erica stated knowingly, "I bet it's the girls. I remember Emily telling me she tricked out the vent system. Here I'll give you a leg up so you can look inside."

"Why me?!"

"Because I'm wearing hills also, I am not getting this outfit dusty." Erica reasoned,

"Well, when you put it like that." Rory gave in. Erica lifted him up to see what was going on,

"Quick, abort! Abort! Our covers been blown!" Emily whisper yelled, ushering us out of sight while running me over,

"Ow, Emily, Mabel, you're stepping on my hair." I winced, struggling to get away,

"Dakota?" Rory asked, coming face to face with me,

"Huh, Rory?"

"What are you doing in the vents?" He asked,

"Uh…" I silently panicked, wondering what to say to him, "You didn't see anything." I whispered, gently pressing my lip against his, "Can you close the vent?

"Oh, sure." He replied, helping me close the grate, and I rushed off to catch up with the others,

"So, what did you see?" Erica inquired as Rory jumped down,

"I didn't see anything." He smiled. "I guess the grate came loose."

"Alright." She shrugged, "Come on, it's showtime. The blood drive is closing in five minutes, and so is our opportunity."

"Let's do this thing!" Rory cheered excitedly, running off with Erica,

"How much longer are we going to wait here?" Benny questioned, leaning up against the lockers,

"Until Dakota and the others get here," Ethen stated, playing on his phone,

"Can't we just leave already? You saw it. He's just doing her laundry."

"Looks like it, but why was he showing her that model spaceship?"

"Ah gee, I don't know! How many times has he brought toys to your house?" Benny asked,

"You're right." Ethen realized just as we got out of the vents,

"There you girls are," Benny said,

"Sorry, we're late. Our cover was almost blown, so we had to skedaddle." Emily explained,

"Did you find anything?" Ethen inquired,

"They're definitely after the blood." I spoke up, "Erica came to Rory for the plan."

"Okay, so we wait for the plan to blow up in their faces, problem salved." Benny smiled,

"Not a chance too risky." Amy shot down, "We'll stay here and continue monitoring their movements."

"Sounds fair, anyways, the clinics closing. I say our work here is done." Ethen smiled, feeling accomplished,

"You want to come over and play Robo Zombie?" Benny asked, "I used a cheat code to unlock a new brain grenade!"

"Sweet!" Emily stated,

"Uh, I don't know," Ethen said unsurely,

"We can still monitor his GPS signal from there." Benny insisted,

"Deal, we've earned it." Ethen gave in,

"We'll catch up with you later," I said,

"Alright, Benny, you go on ahead. I'll be there in a minute." Benny gave Ethen a thumbs up as we saw Sarah walking down the hall,

"Sarah, hold up," Ethen called out,

"Hey guys, sorry I've been a bit moody today." Sarah apologized,

"Um, no, I totally get it. But you'll be happy to know that we've held down the fort while you were gone. The blood is safe."

"But at what cost? Maybe we should just let Erica have it. I mean better blood bags then body bags, right?" Sarah explained,

"Wow, I guess that follows a certain vampire logic. You, okay?"

"Yeah, kind of. Nothing a dozen powered donuts won't cure." Sarah sighed tiredly,

"This has been really hard on you, hasn't it?" Mimi questioned sympathetically,

"It has, but it won't be for much longer now that it's closing. Are you heading out?"

"Not yet. We're sticking around a little longer." Cindy spoke, "Can never be too careful when Erica's involved,

"Alright, what about you, Ethen?"

"Um, no, I have to see a nurse about a chicken." He replied, heading to the blood drive,

"What?" Sarah questioned,

"Someone is finally facing his fear." I smiled, proud of Ethen facing his fears,

"Speaking of which, we better get moving before Erica and Rory make their move," Chloe said, jumping down from the lockers,

"Right, see you later, Sarah! We'll let you know if we need back up!" I waved as we ran off, but little did we know things were about to get much more serious.

Ooh, wonder what's gonna happen next. Well for those who saw the episode know what's happening but I've been known change things up a little. Anyway I'm tired I've been working on this chapter for a week I'll see you guys next time bye everyone. :)
