A/N: So we are 15 chapters in and we haven't had any Kaidan or Gemma love yet. This chapter is pretty much going to be it. First, we have a meeting with the council to attend.

Gemma sat outside the officers with Kaidan by her side. Her leg violently shook with nerves. She'd never met the council in person before. "You okay?" Kaidan asks as he drops his hand to her knee to calm it. She looked down at his hand then back at him.
"Yeah, just nervous." Some Alliance Admirals walked past. The news of Gemma getting her memory back had quickly spread and the fact that she was engaged to a Major just made it hard for them to swallow. They glared at the couple as they passed. "We really do represent humanity well don't we," she joked.
Kaidan shrugs his shoulders, "they are just jealous I got you to myself," he whispers as he kisses her cheek. Gemma squirmed with a chuckle.
"You don't know how much I missed you," she seductively replies in return. Kaidan almost hitched his breath. He was so sexually frustrated at that point, he had to control himself just being sat in the hallway.
"Control yourself," he grunts in reply. Kaidan found he was much more possessive of Gemma since getting her memory back, he'd rarely let her out of his sight. Scared she would just disappear or combust into dust.
"Yes, sir," she replies with a smirk.
"You will be the death of me," he whispers as the door opens. Tevos pokes her head through, waving them both in. The three councillors stood across a desk which Tevos came back around. They both smiled and bowed partly to greet their council.
"Spectre Alenko, Lieutenant River. Welcome and thank you for coming," Tevos says with a warm smile. The Sarlaian councillor looks at them both, then solely at Gemma.
"We are pleased to hear your memories have returned and you're well enough to be up and about again." He pauses to look at his fellow council, then nods as he continues. "We had some concerns from the report Admiral Hackett sent us about what exactly happened on the Crucible."
"We know about his theory that it was all just in your imagination. But could it be possible it wasn't?" Tevos asks. Gemma steps forward, feeling her palms sweat as she is about to speak to the three most powerful people in the galaxy.
"I am not sure," she starts as she looks at Kaidan. "I thought it was, but with how the Admiral described it, I do question myself. My biotics made me see the truth," she says with a curt nod. Her biotics almost forced a shiver up her spine.
"You're biotics, Gemma," Tevos says with almost a hitched breath. "They are something I've never witnessed in my six hundred years of life." Gemma smirks slightly, it was definitely a compliment even if it wasn't meant to be one.
"Do you have any idea what power they could provide?" the Turian councillor asks.
"No, they surprise me every day." She then looks at each of them, they all seemed to hold back on something they were wanting to say. "There is something you want to ask me?" she blurts out. Kaidan hunched his shoulders slightly. He just hoped they weren't about to ask her to do something.
"We hoped work on the mass relays would be complete by now, but the Reaper tech salvaged only goes so far," Tevos explains. "We don't have the Eezo needed for it. I read your ship's doctor reports on your biotics and implants. I believe they might be the answer we need for the problem." Gemma looked at Kaidan, almost scrunching her face up at him.
"Can you elaborate?" he asks. The Turian councillor nods.
"We would need the biotic power from Miss River to propel the jump start of the relays." Gemma scratched her head, that was a big job to undertake.
"That is a big ask, councillor," Kaidan points out. Nearly becoming protective of Gemma, she only looks at the floor. Was she really capable of doing this?
"We would not ask if there was another way. Please finish your shore leave, we do not expect it done until you are ready," Tevos says. She was trying to make it easier for Gemma to accept. She nods to the floor then looks up to nod at them.
"I'll do it," she says. Kaidan moves forward slightly. "Don't," she whispers to stop him. "I'll be fine, I can do this." The councillors all smile at her.
"Thank you, Gemma. We are in your debt. Please contact us when your shore leave is over and we will prepare everything for travel to this system's relay." They both start to walk out before Tevos stops them. "Congratulations on your engagement as well," she points out the ring on Gemma's finger.
"Thank you, Tevos," Kaidan replies as he scoots Gemma out. He walks back in a mush, pissed off she agreed to do this without speaking to him first.
They got back to his quarters, now their shared room. Gemma waited for Kaidan to walk in and slump on the couch before standing in front of him to finally speak. "So are you going to do the silent treatment or actually speak about it now?" Kaidan looks at her, his brows furrowed in annoyance.
"Don't be so condesending about it," he shouts. "You should have asked for time to think about it. I just got you back and you're doing stupid shit again already." Gemma kneels down, resting her forearms on his thighs. She could feel just how much toner he was, she loved this new look and was getting excited just thinking about what is under his shirt.
"Don't be like that, Kaidan. I'm only seeing if I can fix a mass relay, I'm not going to try and blow the thing up." Kaidan rolls his eyes.
"It's you, your biotics will probably blow it up anyway." Gemma chuckles, brushing her nails along his clothed stomach.
"You are very stressed," she mutters. Kaidan watched her hand, he could feel her warmth and it was slowly taking control of him.
"Yeah, well how can I not be?" he says as he pushes her handoff. He tries to get up, but she pushes him back down. She grabs his thighs, his breath hitches way too quickly and he feels dizzy. "Could you not?" he asks, though didn't do anything to stop her.
Gemma ignores him, looking down at his hardness concealed under his trousers. It looked awfully uncomfortable. She undoes his belt, but his hands stop her. "Don't be like this, Kaidan."
"Like what?" he asks as he lets go and she carries on undoing it.
"An ass," she says, pulling the three buttons and zipper down. They both didn't break contact until his grown length was greeted in front of her. She was still happy to see he barely liked wearing boxers. "Well, hello," she giggles.
"Gemma, seriously," he groans as she wraps his hand around him. She had forgotten just how big Kaidan was. She was in awe and licking her lips just touching it. Kaidan drops his head over the back of the couch, leaning an arm to cover his eyes. He would barely last a minute at this rate.
"Temper, temper," she whispers as she licks the tip. Kaidan almost fell forward, he placed a hand on her head, forcing it down to take him fully. She massaged the bottom part her lips couldn't reach.
"Jesus, fuck," he bits his fingers. He'd missed this so much. He heard and felt Gemma's throat vibrate as she started to move her lips, tongue and hand. Her other handheld tightly to his muscled thighs. Kaidan played with her hair, tugging and tangling his fingers in it.
She pulled her lips off, letting them pop as she did. She continued to pump him as she raised high enough to reach his lips. They both share a hot, messy kiss. Kaidan pulled her completely off, dropping her trousers and not even wasting a time pushing a finger inside her folds.

Gemma looks at him, glaring as she smirks at him. She drops the towel down by her feet. "Very sorry, sir," she whispers.
"Do as your Major says then, Lieutenant," he instructs. Gemma swore her knees nearly gave out at his husky voice.
"Wow, using rank on me now, sir?" Kaidan can only smirk and nod. His hooded eyes warned her to do as he said and get into bed. Gemma leaves the bathroom, going across the short hall to his bedroom. The bed wasn't very big, much like a small double bed.
She found another towel and dried herself down before grabbing Kaidan's Blasto movie shirt and throwing it over her freezing body. Earth was freezing this time of year. Kaidan came out five minutes later as he saw her lying on her stomach with her legs in the air.
"Now," he sternly says, pulling her ankles to drag her down the bed and pulling her hip to spin her. Gemma squealed in response. "Did I say to put clothes on?" Gemma giggles, wrapping her legs around his waist to pull him down. His hands caught him from crushing her.
"I like to be insubordinate," she says with a kick peak. Kaidan drops his hand between them, he was already hard and wasn't even waiting for her to keep up. Kaidan kisses her as he starts to rock his hips, "I haven't truly seen my fiance in over a month. I'm just making up for a lost time," he says smashing into her. Gemma scratches her nails along his back. Kaidan grunts and bites down hard on her neck before sucking it between his tanned lips.
"You'll leave a mark," Gemma says, pulling her neck away. Kaidan looked to see the slight teeth marks and purple skin.
"Good, I want everyone to know your mine." He pulls out and forces her to sit up. Gemma pumps his dick and licks her juices off him. "You're incredible," he whispers as he lightly pulls her hair.

Kaidan kisses her head, holding her tightly into his chest. "I love you, too," he whispers.
