[Creepie speaking then theme song]

Middlington Middle School

An ordinary school fill with ordinary kids

With all the ordinary problems of growing up

But in my case life is anything but ordinary

You see, I was raised by bugs, get the picture?

Out of the ordinary

Fairytale without the fairy

A family that seems a little scary

A world with perfect people, yeah!

You won't find me

Anywhere but here

And the way you see me

Is pretty far from clear

A little different, not everyday

You can't judge me it don't work that way

So what, so what, if I'm growing up Creepie?

"Wicked!"

It was another dull day for the kids in Middlington middle school and especially for those in Dr. Pappas's science class as he was teaching his students all about electricity made naturally by animals like eels in the ocean.

Hardly anyone was listening as their teacher droned on and on until the door swung opened and in entered a new girl. "May I ask who you are?" Dr. Pappas asked the girl sternly; the class was watching the new girl now.

"Sorry for being late, but I'm Sara Grace the new student." Sara responded shyly, many of the students wondered why they hadn't heard that they were getting a new classmate while one student kept her focus on Sara.

The girl who kept her focus entirely on Sara was none other than Creepella "Creepie" Creecher. "I can't believe we're getting a new friend!" A super chipper voice said happily, it was Chris-Alice, one of Creepie's friends.

"You think that Ms. Monsterrate would've said something." A clamer voice responded, that was Budge another one of Creepie's friends. "Maybe she forgot." Creepie suggested as the three watched as Sara took her seat.

Sara got out her things for class as she felt six pairs of eyes on her, so she looked up to see Creepie, Budge and Chris-Alice watching her. "Hey there." Sara greeted them all with a small smile, they waved back politely.

Creepie looked at Sara's backpack then noted that it was spider shaped backpack which the young goth girl liked since it might mean that Sara likes bugs just like Creepie does as she has a secret that no one else knows.

"Children, pay attention!" Dr. Pappas called out, everyone turned to face the teacher before they zoned out again all while Creepie glanced back at Sara and took in the new girl's appearance carefully as if sizing her up.

Sara had short messy red hair, light tan skin, red eyes, a pink t-shirt under white overalls shorts, brown hiking boots, a white hat with goggles and brown gloves, all in all her appearance was something new to Creepie.

As the bell rang, Creepie snapped out of her trance then went to her next class which just happened to be music class even though, she herself was not good at singing or even playing anything other than the bagpipes.

Ms. Monsterrate was subbing for the music teacher and had decided to have Sara show everyone just what she could do when it came to practicing her singing so Sara chose a song that she knew was her favorite one.

[Play Growing up Creepie by Samantha Lombardi]

[Sara]

(Music)

Out, of the ordinary

Fairytale, without the fairy

A family that seems a little scary

(Music)

Winter, without the storming

Crucial, just not necessary

So strange, extra-ordinary

A world with perfect people

A world with perfect people.

No, you won't find me

Anywhere but here

And the way you see me

Is pretty far from clear

A little different, not everyday

You can't judge me, it don't work that way

So what, so what, if I'm growing up Creepie?

Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na

(Music)

Candy store, without the candy

Private school, where's the learning?

Subtle but I got the feeling

(Music)

A wedding without the dancing

A rock show without the yelling

So look now, the bugs are turning

A world with perfect people

A world with perfect people

No, you won't find me

Anywhere but here

And the way you see me

Is pretty far from clear

A little different, not everyday

You can't judge me, it don't work that way

So what, so what, if I'm growing up Creepie?

I'm growing up creepie, so what, so what

Growing up creepie how about you?

I'm growing up creepie, so what, so what

Growing up creepie how about you?

I'm growing up creepie, so what, so what

Growing up creepie how about you?

I'm growing up creepie, so what, so what

Growing up creepie how about you?

At that last line, everyone was stunned by Sara's song choice, even Creepie was surprised by the song and when she heard the word 'bugs', Creepie glanced over her shoulder and saw all the bugs in the room dancing.

"That's interesting." Creepie muttered to herself, after the song, Ms. Monsterrate had Sara sit next to Creepie which for some reason excited the bugs as they whispered to each other while they also scared the class.

All throughout the school day, Creepie noticed that her bug friends kept whispering to each other about Sara as it seemed like they knew her somehow, but they didn't want to tell Creepie anything when she asked them.

Sara of course was oblivious to the fact that she was now the topic of discussion with both the bugs and the kids in school. "Why are the bugs excited about Sara?" Budge asked Creepie, she didn't know the answer.

"They won't tell me anything." Creepie replied to him, Budge was the only human to know that Creepie was raised by bugs. "Maybe your parents will know what's going on." Budge said thoughtfully as they walked home.

"Maybe." Creepie said in wonder, she needed to know why all the bugs in her school and now in town were excited by Sara Grace, the new girl and she was going to ask them once she got home as she wanted answers.

Meanwhile at an old mansion, Creepie's parents had gotten word of the new girl in Creepie's school and became worried about how their human daughter would react to the news that they needed to share with her soon.

"I can't believe this day has finally come." Caroleena said sadly, she was a praying mantis and Creepie's mother. "We would've had to tell her eventually." Vinnie responded calmly, he's a mosquito and Creepie's father.

While both knew the day to tell Creepie the truth about what they had found out her human family would come, they didn't think it would happen like this, but hoped that Creepie would understand why they stayed quite for a bit.

Caroleena and Vinnie hadn't wanted to lose their human daughter, but ultimately knew that Creepie had to know that she did in fact have at least one human relative that they had found out about and is now in town.

First chapter done! I don't own Growing up Creepie or both versions of the theme song, I only own Sara my oc.
