HELLO ONCE MORE!

Well, here I am again with FINALLY the newest chapter of Chaldea Reacts. Which said, I am very sorry that it took this long. It shouldn't have, but at least I was able to get it done. Anyways, it's not too long, but not short too. But I did my best.

Also, I'm trying a new sort of spacing systems in this chapter. Tell what you think on it, and I'll see if I need to change it or keep it depending on the feedback.

P.S: I also decided to at least test it out, to just have the characters introduced by name instead appearance description. Tell me also if you like this way better or the other way I was doing before in earlier react chapters.

So that all said and done in these top notes at least, please enjoy this next chapter!"

Chaldea Reacts-Ch.6: Could it be a lucky three? Pt.1

It was yet another day in Chaldea. Another day of leisure, another day to enjoy the well earned peace. Today we follow a group that. Like many, had become closer as friends and family. Well after a considerable amount of talking, forced talking in small rooms and even more talking when certain issues arose. All thanks to the odd twin masters of Chaldea.

For this group was one that consisted of one David, Avicebron and Sheba who was honorary member of the Hebrew Servants. Alongside one Martha who also had ancestry of Hebrew origins, all in all they were close knit group.

With them were the only two of a few other members of the Egyptian side of this group. Being Cleopatra and Nitocris. Both able to join since they weren't too busy today and wanted to stretch their legs a bit after getting use to their laptops and getting use to how their TV's worked when it came to the four channels it had.

Still as the group of six walked down the hallways, having bumped into one another beforehand. It was the girls who were mainly talking.

"So how's your older brother doing anyways, ever since we got our TV's. Your brother and his friend somehow got their hands on a game station; and from what I've heard. Have been barely seen since." Sheba asked kindly towards Cleopatra, who smiled back

"Oh, you know Iskandar. He's doing well enough. But I swear the man can be more of child at times, even more then my little adorable bother Alexander. Oh, how that cutie grew up to be such a man stubborn man is beyond me." Cleopatra explained amusingly as despite what most knew, it had been confirmed that she indeed was Iskander and his younger self, Alexanders sister. The only one that really had a good relationship with the two "But I do hope Iskandar gets out soon, like little Alex has been even if he's become addicted to something called 'Memes'. Don't know what that is, but it sounds harmless enough."

"I guess it does." Sheba replied back, before she cracked her neck "Anyways, what about the rest of you. Any exciting discoveries from your laptops at least. Since we only get four channels on our tv's for now."

"Not much on my end. Just found a few interesting news sites. Oddest thing though, certain stories seem to not load in properly. It's weird." David answered first, glad to find a good day to stretch out his legs

"Huh, wait you got that too?" Nitocris asked, curiously as she'd experienced something similar on a few news sites she went on so far "I thought I was the only one, wait. What about the rest of you?

"Not on my end. I've been busy with my dear Creaser, on something called Amazon. Not AMAZONS, just to clarify." Cleopatra explained

"Oh wow. That… has Penthesilea said anything about it, or has she complained to her boyfriend about it yet?' Avicebron asked, still getting use to himself at least; on talking more with his friends or even having people to all real friends in the first place

"I still find it had that she and Achilles hit it off. I always thought she hated his guts, that and well. Not to profile. I always thought she preferred…you know." Sheba cut in, as she was trying to sound as nice as possible

"Sheba that's a little rude to presume. At least when it comes to her sexuality, besides I think she and Achilles make a cute couple. I'm more shocked that she somehow was able to fix that little issue with her anger at the mere mention of him." Cleopatra stated, as she still found the rather cute couple also an odd one at how they even became an item in the first place considering the few... issues

"Well thank our masters for that. Those two never cease to amaze me at how they can get everyone to get along so well." David exclaimed, with a shrug but a smile too at the thought of the twin masters

"True. They have an uncanny ability to do that. I'll admit too, I'd be worried if they ever thought of going into politics. They'd be scary to go up against." Avicebron remarked, with a small hint of humor

"Oh yeah. That would be scary, but funny too." Nitocris mused, chuckling some before she noticed Martha had been quiet so far "Hey Martha?'

"Hm?" Martha suddenly replied back, as she seemed to snap out of a daze "Sorry, did you need something my friend?"

"No. Just, are you okay. You seemed out of it?" Nitocris questioned, as the others decided to keep quiet for the moment

"I am… sorry, I was actually looking for a room. But I can't seem to find it." Martha explained, as she stopped and everyone else did too. Looking at the saint as she pulled out from her pocket a small piece of paper "This invitation I found at the door of my room said that if I wanted to have something fun to do today. Then go out and look for a room that's all alone. But I can't seem to find the room described here. That and I can't read this bit at the end of the letter."

"Let me see." Sheba kindly asked, as Martha handed her the letter and red it over, before reading the section below that was oddly familiar to her "Huh, that's cool. It's a mixture of Hebrew and Egyptian. That's weird."

"Whys that?" Avicebron asked

"Because it's a form of language I only knew of and taught some of the other servants. Just for fun, no idea why anyone would use this if it was for someone like Martha who doesn't know my fused language." Sheba explained, as she handed Martha back the invitation

"That is weird." Nitocris stated, a bit perplexed by that news

"But what did it say anyways?" David asked now

"All it said was that Martha was allowed to bring a few friends to where this room is. That it was actually encouraged to do so and that it would be a nice day ahead." Sheba answered, as she smiled at Martha "Which I for one think would be good. I mean there are six of us here in total and I can guess none of us have much else to do today. So why not?"

"Though I don't like being dragged into things by others… I'll admit, I really don't have much else to do. My newest Golem project needs materials I need to wait for. SO, there's that, I guess I'm in too." Avicebron stated first, with a sigh and crossed his arms even though he'll admit he was a little excited

"Same. Besides better then just aimlessly wandering around." David chimed in next, as he just did a shrug

"Well, I think you can guess what me and Cleo here are gonna say." Nitocris remarked last, smirking some

"Which is totally. We're in!" Cleopatra happily answered, just in case they didn't know the rather obvious answer there

"Then I guess were all in this together. Come one let's find us a door to a room we have NO idea about!" Martha cheered, as she pumped her fist in the in the air

"YEAH!" Sheba, Cleopatra, Nitocris and David at least cheered too; doing a fist pump in the air as well

"This might have been a mistake…" Avicebron muttered, already kind of regretting going along with this

Without missing a beat though, everyone began their way off as they let Martha lead them now. Wondering how long it would actually take to find this mysterious room. Wondering what surprised, mysteries and prizes waited for them possible at the end. It would most likely too, take quite a bit of...

.

Turns out didn't take TOO long…

Well, if one were to consider one freaking hour of aimlessly walking around to find this mysterious door as any indication. But they servants had found the door. To their joy and confusion on how and why there was a literal other half of the station that no one seemed to use. Heck, they had rooms with the sheets from day one still placed over and such. It was kind of creepy.

Still as the group found the door, it had opened for them and now here they were. Sitting inside the mysterious room. With the coach, fridge, bathroom and all that good stuff. That and the TV installed, alongside the black screen laptop.

"So… am I really the only one who thinks this is weird?" David asked, as he sat on the far right of the couch, with Sheba next to him, then Cleopatra next to her, followed by Nitocris and Martha. While Avicebron was sitting on a one person armchair

"No, no. I think we can all agree that this place is…weird." Sheba answered back, as she looked to Martha "So just making sure, did that letter say EXACTLY what was supposed to be going on here?"

"Well no. But maybe…wait, what's with the laptop?" Martha started to answer, before she noticed first that the laptop suddenly had the words in all bold white 'LOADING' appear

The other servants quickly looked seeing it too. Confused, they just stared as the screen flashed into a few colors. Before suddenly, a wall of bold white text appeared in the form of a message. Address oddly to them all.

Greetings!

First off, welcome to the REACT room. As it has been now officially dubbed, for those who had no idea what this is even going on about. Simple. You see fellow colleges and later additions to our team. Have been hosting; and recording a few videos into a series know as 'CHALDEA REACTS!'. So far about two official reaction videos have been posted with surprisingly good results. You our fellows are now the third official react video.

Anyways to make it short, you shall be reacting to a movie. What kind you'll find out soon enough all I'll say is that it's an animated one for kids. In a sense if one were to question, what is kid friendly to being with. But questions aside please enjoy, make comments or whatever you feel. It's all encouraged, well at least anything that's not too risky or such. But I digress, enjoy the movie!

P.S: We implore you to NOT say anything to anyone. Be they loved one's or friends. This series must be kept secret.

P.S.S: Seriously, don't be pricks about this and ruin the fun. Especially if you have loyalties to any royalty or are married.

P.S.S.S: We're talking mostly about you Cleopatra and Nitocris. Oh yes, we know you TOO well to not put it behind you to do that. So don't do it, and again enjoy the movie.

Once all the servants read the message the laptop went to black screen for a few seconds. Before after a few more seconds, it changed to a big bold white text of 'PRESS START'. Everyone was quiet for a moment of so. Before Cleopatra cut in.

"SO RUDE!" Cleopatra yelled, before pouting some "I'm not blabbermouth for Anubis sake!"

"Same. Just became me and Ozzy are like besties by this point. And I'm like super loyal to him, don't mean I would tell a secret to him if someone asked me nicely. That's just stupid!" Nitocris added in, irked a little herself that she like Cleopatra had been singled out

"Hehe. Well ladies, I'm sure they just wanted to cover their bases and not ah… you know take a chance." David sheepishly tried to explain, even though he swore he could feel the slight mocking coming from the messages end notes himself

"Either way. This could be fun. So let's just give a try!" Sheba cheered, as she at least had been curious on what the hype about movies were all about. Since the twin masters even now, gushed over all the new movies coming out

"Eh, whatever." Avicebron simply said, with a shrug as again he really had nothing to do today and even he had been a bit curios on movies too. But had no patients to when it came to what the grail knew about them in general and skimming through said knowledge

"The I guess that means were watching a movie today!" Marhta said, with some perkiness as the others even the pouty Cleopatra and Nitocris seemed to get excited for it. Martha moving her finger on what she learned was the built in mouse pad for the laptop and moved the little white courser over the start bottom "And play!"

With a click of the mouse, the events for today would be set. As the laptop screen went black again. The Flat screen TV started up and with it the large bold white number '5' appeared on the screen before it began to count down.

[PLAY]

As the movie begins. A low hum of feminine chants echoed upon the black screen. It's rather whimsical already. Very whimsical, with a sort of wonder and awe feeling; even to those much older and at times; jaded servants. Still if this was any indication to the movie so far, it would be a good one. Animated or not. Then a caption appeared upon the black screen in bold white lettering.

[The motion picture you are about to see, is an adaptation of the Exodus Story.

While artistic and historical license has been taken, we believe that this film is true to the essence, values and integrity of a story that is a cornerstone of faith for millions worldwide.

The biblical story of Mosese can be found in the book of Exodus.]

That was already another indicator of this movie before them. For those of the Hebrew faith, they were more curious now on how this movie would depict the events of one of the rather more well know stories from the bible. One that they all knew of one way or another.

While the those of the more Egyptian centric beliefs, were curious too. But not because they knew of the story of Moses, but because they knew so little of it. Sure again, like many servants. Thanks to the grail they were allowed knowledge previously unknown to them or of events that may have occurred after their lives. But they like many others, either didn't have the time to learn more or they didn't want too for one reason or another.

For Nitocris and Cleopatra. Both of them were in between. Since when first summoned, they had a bit more of the old mindset when it came too being around… Hebrew ethnic servants. Same could be said vice-versa. As a sort of uneasy tension was there for a while. But like all in Chaldea, thanks to the twins and chance. The two uneasy groups with a rather, colorful past with one another. Became allies, friends and even family. So much that now, despite what generational animosity and such that had been there; was gone by this point in time. Oh, the wonders of Chaldea never cease in creating unlikely familial bonds.

Still for everyone here now, be it those who knew of the story of Moses or wanted to know more. They ye again, could tell this movie was going to at least inform them of the basics and most important of knowledge; or at least said knowledge with artistic liberties of course.

None spoke as the kept watching, the first caption finally fading leaving the black screen as their only sight. Then another white bold set of lettering popped up, this one saying 'DreamWorks Pictures Presents'. Now for the servants, they hadn't actually learned much if any info of the companies that produced movies. Only able to have the time to learn what movies were. So, they wondered how well this DreamWorks would tell the story of Moses. But they didn't have to wait long, before the words faded again. A few seconds of the black screen and then finally the title of this mystery movie appeared.

.

THE PRINCE OF EGYPT

.

To rightfully say, the servants were more than confused on why it was called that. Well, more with the Egyptian servants since the Hebrew ones had a good idea why. None yet having a need to saying anything, as they watched on before making comments. The sounds of trumpets following quietly at first before becoming louder.

As this happened. The once black screen became a cloud covered view. The clouds parting way as the sky began to show, in more of an afternoon setting. More and more the clouds parted. Before finally the clouds parted. Showing only the bright shining sun.

"Well, it's nicely drawing already. The music isn't too bad either." Sheba exclaimed, with a smile as her ears twitched happily just a bit, mainly due to her already mentally wondering how much this movie made and cost to make. Hey, she may have not KNOW of the movies themselves, but when it came to the finances of them or at least the gist of it; that was her bread and butter

"Sort of a mysterious and whimsical vibe to it right?" Cleopatra asked, as at least that's what she felt so far even if had been barely a minute or so into the actual movie

"Got that right." Sheba answered simply as she looked to the others "So?"

"Will hold judgment until I see more." Avicebron answered. Since he was more of the, wait and see with his own eyes sort of guy at times; this apparently being one of them

"Same here. Sorry." David chimed in, as he also was going that route with the movie so far mostly "But I will at least admit. The music is whimsical."

"So, naive then?" Avicebron snarked a little as David already counted his more cynical friend to say something like that, even if it was all in a good friendly manner

"Of course, you'd say that." David quipped, as he rolled his eyes a little

"Behave please. Let's all enjoy the movie as happy friends." Martha cut in, already being the group mother like she usually was if no one did so

"Yes Martha." Avicebron and David simply replied aback, as they knew better then to disobey the words of the nicked named 'Punch Happy Saint'

"Good boys!" Martha sweetly chirped, as she smiled that her friends wouldn't argue

'Mama Martha strikes again..." Nitocris remarked, but only loud enough for Sheba and Cleopatra to hear as the two snickered a little

But that didn't last long, as they all continued to watch the movie starting before them. The music of the scene changing to rather nice melody of trumpets. It was again nice and added to the whimsical vibes.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

So as the trumpets played on in the background. The sun that had been shinning, now was shrouded by something from what the servants saw. That something being at first, what looked like a large…rock of all things. Dust parting as it hit the ground beneath with a loud 'THUD'. Before the scene slowly zoomed out showing it looked to be a carved rock. Then a much wider view of this rock could be seen as a large stone head.

It was only made more clear what exactly was going on, when the scene fully zoomed out. Showing the same large stone head, being pulled by rope. By dozens, upon dozens of people, men to be exact.

Though none commented on this, David and Martha both cringed. Already having a good idea when this was taking place and the fact, even if it was animated. It wasn't exactly a good image to see a darker point in your people's life. Be it your own religion or that of ancestors.

Sheba cringed a bit too, but let it be since she wasn't exactly Hebrew if one were to go by technicality. But that didn't mean she didn't know why this had been such a… sore spot. When it came to some of the servant early on in the days of Chaldea. Especially most of those around her currently.

Avicebron though. Aside from the fact he wore a mask hiding any way of telling how he felt, did have his golden clawed right index finger dig a bit into the armchair. More of the fact that, despite the fact this movie was animated. It also did show the truth of what at one point was a normal part of the Hebrew life. A part which he wished a times never happened, but it did no matter how much again he had wished it hadn't.

Meanwhile Nitocris and Cleopatra cringed too. But not because of what was being depicted, okay well that WAS part of it. But it was more to the fact they also did remember when they had been totally fine with this sort of labor. It had been normal for them then, but considering they'd been around with the servants who had been from the same race as the slaves; they had once used for so long. The two now had different views on it, views that they didn't really like themselves much for doing so. But it had happened, and all was forgiven at this point. Still this movie was already chalking up to be a good one, in the two women's opinion.

Still as that occurred with the silent opinions, that's when they began to hear music and with that; the first song of the movie began.

Mud!

Sand!

Water!

Straw!

Faster!

As the first of lyrics were sung, in the sounds of the Hebrew men chanting. Each doing a task, be it stomping the mud with their bare feet over and over again, to throwing sand into the mud or throwing buckets of water below. Sometimes hitting their own who worked in mud by accident as shown in the continuous changing scene. To even throwing in heavy bundles of straw. All to make the stone that would be used for the statues and such of their enslavers. Speaking of the last of first few scenes here, it showed a larger heftier Egyptian man; whipping the enslaved men. Demanding them to as it was stated, to go faster even if was inhumanely impossible. But the song kept going, as the group of servants watched on.

Mud, and lift!

Sand, and pull!

Water, and raise up!

Straw!

Faster!

The next few scenes, the servants saw the enslaved men working on making brick from the mud, lifting up piles of them in groups over their backs. To more using tools to break up the sand. Then it showed more men, using all their strength to use lifts to bring up more water or to lift up large planks that held the mud bricks. Lifting them up in the air for use for those who worked above. Even more it showed men throwing more and more straw into the mud pits as well, lines forming behind. All the while their enslavers whipped them and screamed over many times the word, 'FASTER'. As if that would do any good. Once again though the servants watched on as the rather angelic if not depressing song played.

With the sting of the whip, on my shoulder!

With the salt of my sweat on my brow!

Elohim, God on high, can you hear your people cry?

Help us now… this dark hour!

Another quick, if not uneasy scene the servants saw. Was of an older man getting whipped on the back, falling over as the scene zoomed out showing more slaves doing hard, tiring labor. Moving then over past more and more slaves, being watched by their Egyptian masters. Panning down and then through ever more sights of slave labor, before the scene moved forward into somewhat finished hallway. Then through the door as the sun shinned brightly once again.

Deliver us, hear our call, deliver us!

Lord of all remember us here in this burning sand!

Deliver us, there's a land you promised us!

Deliver us to the promised land!

More and more depictions of Hebrew slaves doing work, carrying heavy bags back and forth in droves were seen. To many pulling ropes in grounds, while being whipped all the same. Before letting go of those ropes as a shadow would downcast one side of slave workers. Some back away in fear and other in uneasy awe as statues would be lifted up from their hard work. But even with these great feats of work, sadly slave work. The servants could tell life simply went on, next the saw the sight of an older slave falling to the ground. His old wrinkle hand lifting up as if he was trying to ask for some help. Which it did come from another younger slave, helping the old man up, before both were pushed by a guard to get them back to work.

The scene then panned over the sight of slaves working and working, statues being work on or lifted up, buildings being made. All was sadly normal for these slaves, as the servants watched on. One or two of them, those being Martha and Nitocris. Wondering how this was kids movie, from what they understood, kids movies were NOT this blunt with the truths of some eras. Even if this wasn't as brutal, it still was pretty up front at what it was like back then.

Still as they all watched on, the scene now drifted to a large Egyptian settlement. Then it changed to what all the servants assumed was where the enslaved Hebrews lived at when not doing their daily slave work. Before it showed oddly the shadows of guards running around the area. None of the servants said anything, but Cleopatra this time, Avicebron and even Sheba had a rather uneasy feeling as to WHY that was. But they kept on watching. As the scene panned into a home, the image of a beautiful Hebrew woman could be seen. Hiding behind the wall of her home, seeming scared as the singing portion started up once more.

ابني الطيب والعطاء (My good and tender son),

لا تخافوا ولا تخافوا (Do not be afraid, do not be afraid),

My son, I have nothing I can give.

But this chance that you may live.

I pray we'll meet again.

If he will… Deliver us!

The mother sung sweetly, if not in fear as she waited for the guards to pass by. Once gone, she moved past her equally nervous, if not also confused daughter and son. Before she stopped and lifted her robe a little. Revealing she had been hiding a baby boy underneath. By first sight, this boy seemed to have slightly lighter skin and light brown hair compared to his mother and older siblings. Taking a blanket from what was assumed to be his crib. She motioned her kids to come closer. Only then for the servants who were listening to the song, to hear a bloody scream of terror come from outside the woman's home.

Deliver us, hear our prayer!

Deliver us from despair these years of slavery!

Grow too cruel to stand!

As the mother holding her baby and her kids ran out and away. What was depicted after that, was shocking for a kid's movie, in a few of the servant's opinions. For it showed or at least implied that the Egyptian Guards were here for one thing. To quell the slave population for whatever reason. The image of guards going into homes, pushing mothers aside and showing one even look down to a crib before raising his blade. Only for the scene to change and show a crying mother. Out of all the servants, Martha was the only one who sub-consciously cover her mouth at what had been implied.

The rest were just stunned quiet, for either knowing that even if it didn't show it. It had again been a reality at one point or another. A possibility of happening. The Hebrew servants were the ones who felt more of this then anything. For the Egyptian servants, Cleopatra cringed at that. Even she hadn't been THAT cruel with her…ahem, slaves back then. Nitocris herself felt uneasy too, but more on the fact that even if her own Pharoh had never done something like that. She hated to admit it, but it was tactically a sound plan for one who owned that many slaves. Whose population may have had been growing a bit too large at the time.

Still the group as a whole stayed quiet as they watched on still, feeling more uneasy with the movie at what was being depicted as a bit TOO close to home for some more than others. But again, they watched on.

Deliver us, there's a land you promised us!

Deliver us out of bondage and…

DELIVER US TO THE PROMISED LAND!

The scene yet again changed as the music started to quiet down. The mother, brother and sister with a basket in her hands now. Running down the edge of a river that led into the sea. Finding a spot where many plants covered them from sights of others. When they knew they were in the clear. The sister placed the basket near the water. The mother then smiling just a little as she knelt down near the basket, opening it and looked into it showing that her baby boy was inside.

Hush now, my baby,

Be still, love don't cry.

Sleep as you're rocked by the stream.

Sleep and remember

My last lullaby.

So I'll be with you

when you dream.

The mother sang, stroking her right index finger against her baby's cheek. The baby seeming sleepier now as he grabbed his mother's finger. Before letting it go as he fell into a blissful slumber. With that, knowing she did all she could. She kissed her baby boy one last time, before placing the top of the basket back on.

River, oh, river,

Flow gently for me.

Such precious cargo, you bear.

Do you know somewhere he can live free?

River, deliver him there…

Then walking slowly into the water until she was near breast deep. The mother pushed the basket as it floated away, a tearful gaze could be seen as she watched her precious young baby boy float away. The servants able to tell, that the mother knew that she would most likely never see him again, though seemed happy too for that. As if the baby boy would live, the then mother would willing let him live his life without her in it. No matter how much it hurt as the basket floated and floated until it was nearly out of view.

The mother hums in way to ease her sorrows as the servant watching could also see, then the scene changed for them to a more panoramic view of the sea and the slowly setting sun. Though another quick scene change showed the sister had moved around and pushed aside some planets to make sure her baby brother was fully safe as he floated. Various animals from monkeys on the branch to flamingos in the water and many more. Watched the basket float downstream too.

Though a second quick change in the scene showed underneath a crocodile had spotted the basket and lunged up to take a bite. Only for three hippos to attack it, either from pure instinct and seeing the crocodile as an intruder or maybe some otherworldly influence. But the baby in the basket floated a bit more violently away and downstream still. The sister following in slight panic after seeing her baby brothers near death.

Then the sister gasps when she saw a fishing net catch the basket with a school of fish. Only for the basket to fall out of the net and downstream once more. BUT the dangers didn't seem to stop when two large boats were passing by the basket. The sister ran out in fear as she helplessly watched the paddles of each boat passing by just barely missed the basket itself. Finally, the basket was almost hit by the front of a boat. It's course now floating to a place the sister was VERY worried about.

As this scene had gone on, the servant felt the need to make a comment or two on the rather near death of the baby in the basket and how rather lucky he had been.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Wow, that… that's like STUPID levels of luck there." Nitocris exclaimed, as some of the others nodded in agreement with her

"Maybe the basket had other worldly help, Godly help that is." David responded. Since that was the only honest reason, he could come up with for someone; animated or not to survive all that with no harm done

"Probably, God guiding hand must be what did so. How lovely." Martha chimed in, as she smiled a little. David cringed some as he knew if there was one thing that was still tense for discussion even now at Chaldea, it was religious beliefs

"OR and just stick with me here sister. But maybe our own Gods?" Cleopatra exclaimed. Crossing her arms, as she felt oddly a little offended that Martha always assumed it was HER God that did the good deeds

"Well of course maybe. But-" Martha tried to calmly answer back, as she realized how she sounded just now even if she hadn't meant too

"Ladies I also hold my beliefs close to my heart. But now is not the time or place, beside Martha. Didn't you say we should watch this movie as friends?" Avicebron remarked, calmly though was getting a little pay back for the 'Good Boy!' comment just a bit ago from Martha

"And Cleo, you know Martha didn't mean it like that." Sheba added in, as Cleopatra blushed a little realizing how she just sounded herself when accusing Martha

"R-Right, sorry. No hard feelings Martha?" Cleopatra apologized, as she hoped he hadn't made this awkward already

"Of course not friend. Honest, and I'm sorry too." Martha apologized back, as she and Cleopatra gave each other a smile

"Crisis averted. Thank the lord." David muttered, as he was glad an argument hadn't started

With that, he and the rest once more continued watching the movie play out. Curious on what was and would occur next in this already rather, impressive animated so called 'Children's' film.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

So, the servants watched on, as the scene changed to show the inside of a palace the basket floated into. Before it changed showing now a lovely Egyptian woman, in bright white clothes, while also adorned in gold and gems as well. She was knee deep in the water. As she held her child, who was lightly playing in the water. Two women in the background watching as they must have been the woman's own servants. But it was Cleopatra who had a good idea who this woman was considering her rather exquisite attire.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Well, if it wasn't obvious who this woman is." Cleopatra mused, as she remembered wearing a rather similar outfit herself and always loved how breezy it was considering the heat

"The Queen?" Sheba and Nitocris remarked as more of a rhetorical question then anything else

"YEP, she just screams Queen material. Literally." Cleopatra answered back, as she smirked at the rather accurate if not stereotypical appearance of what an Egyptian Queen looked like

"Clothing and jewels?" Martha asked now, as she could also see how it was easy to assume considering what era this movie was based in

"Oh you know it. Reminds of a few of my favorite dresses back then. How I miss them and the comfy, breezy cloth feeling against my bare skin." Cleopatra stated, as she smiled from what was assumed to be a bit of a fond memory

Avicebron and David had simply decided to stay out of this conversation, since fashion. Even fashion from around their own eras weren't their thing. They and the ladies, then continued to watch the scene before them.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

Still as they realized who this woman was, the servants were a bit worried in one way or another at what was going to happen. As they watched the Queen take notice of the basket. Moving and placing her son on the steps as one the servant girls moved over to him.

At the same time, the scene did a quick change. Showing the sister coming up through some of the brush a bit aways. Seeing fully, who had found the basket and gasps a little in shock and worry of her own. A quick change back, showed the Queen gently take the lid off the basket and in it the baby inside just waking up and seeing her. The Queen oddly to the servants watching, smiled. Like she didn't seem to have any negative reaction to the baby. The sister meanwhile realizing that despite the fact her baby brother had been found by the Queen. Knew just by seeing the woman's smile, her baby brother was as safe as he could be.

Brother, you're safe now

And safe may you stay,

for I have a prayer just for you.

Grow, baby brother,

come back someday.

Come and deliver us too.

As the sister sang this, moving away from the brush to return to her family. The scene switched to showing the Queen walking up the steps with the baby in her arms. The servant girls seemed suspired but averted their gaze when the Queen gave them a slightly stern gaze of her own. Before continuing off back into the palace.

"Mommy!" The Queens son following behind said, as he wanted to be picked up. Though at the moment he couldn't be since the Queen already had her hands full. The Queen feeling bad as she saw this, gave her blood child a sweet smile

"Come, Rameses. We will show Pharaoh your new baby brother." The Queen happily explained. As she looked back at the baby in her arms and poked his cute little nose. Already knowing the name, she would give him as it was….

.

Moses

.

That was quite a suspires to the group of servants. Though the title made much more sense now considering. Then again, even now in this era. No true story of Moses origins could be considered the 'TRUE' one. But this one was quite a twist and an admittedly interesting one at that. The servants watched on still, as the scene yet again changed showing the Queen with Moses in her arms, the Queens servants and the Queens blood son Rameses. Going up the stairs as the last verses of this first rather hauntingly beautiful song concluded.

Deliver us send a shepherd to shepherd us and deliver us to the promised land!

Deliver us to the promised land!

Deliver us!

As the last verse sung out in a choir of voices and even Moses's mother. The scene lifted up from the entrance to the palace, then faded into the sight of many slaves working. To finally showing the Sphinx being worked on, and the palace itself far behind it. Two worlds separated, yet close for the young Moses. Then it was followed by the screen turning black once more followed by silence. The servants took a moment to realize what kind of 'Childrens' movie they were watching.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Well, if this ain't indication what kind of movie this was…ahem, guess there it is." David stated, as he'd like the song despite the rather… unsettling subject revolved around said song

"I'm more surprised at how they went with the story of Moses in this one." Avicebron exclaimed, as despite his earlier reservations with the movie. He was already invested in how they were gonna spin this well know tale for the movie before them

"Same, but I'm really wondering now how expensive this move was to make. I mean I at least learned it costly when it comes to animation. The smoother the more in price it usually is. Wonder how much it made too in the box office." Sheba exclaimed, her tail wagging some at the mere number of cash made from this movie alone if the animation was any indication

"Of course you would wonder on that Sheba." Nitocris exclaimed, as she smiled at her friend's quirkiness "But I'm just hoping it doesn't get more… a bit too close to home if you all understand."

"Hey all is forgiven, we've said it before." Martha quipped as she gave the woman a reassuring smile

"Some more than others." Avicebron exclaimed, a small hint of teasing amusement as Sheba flicked the side of his head

"We appreciate it. Doesn't mean we still can't feel guilty about it. But again, it's all in the past and were family by this point. So all is good." Cleopatra chimed in as even now she still had a hard time realizing that she was friends with people her own had enslaved in one way or another. Again, the wonders of Chaldea indeed

"So, we're all good and buddy-buddy. Let's get back to the movie though, I'm getting interested by this more so then ever!" David cheered, as the other servants nodded in agreement

So, the group of six continued watching on, as they waited for the black screen to change to the new scene. All of them curious on what was to be shown next, in the twist tale of a well know biblical story.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

As a new scene suddenly started up. The screen still black, before the sounds of hooves clopping against the ground echoed. Then the scene changed, now showing two young men riding in chariots pulled by two horses each. Shirtless they were, wearing only well-made sandals and shendyt's. That and they wore golden bracelets and neck pieces. One of the young men in blue with shaved head aside from a short ponytail on the left of his scalp, and the other in red. Sporting long black hair with a gold band around. Both young men were racing of all things.

The servants already realized this must have been a much older Rameses and Moses, having grown up as brothers; and by the looks of it. Realizing too that they were enjoying the perks of being princes of Egypt. Currently in the form of racing.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Cleo, I know you've confirmed you had kids of your own. Two sons as well and one daughter. Did they ever…" Avicebron asked, rather carefully if only not to upset his friend if she took it the wrong

"Hehe, of course not. Well, okay my daughter didn't mostly aside from some back talk here and there. My boys loved them so much, but they could be a bit rebellious too. Thankfully they didn't do stuff like being shown in the movie. If they had, I'd have bent them over and tanned their backsides till they were blood red." Cleopatra remarked, as she was amused but fully serious too

"Preach sister from another mister!" Sheba cheered, as she herself had done that one or twice with her own boy, since his father didn't. Then again considering how he'd been, well yeah it was mainly on her to do so until he got older of course

"Prayers to my late grandson then. No offense Sheba." David remarked, as he felt for his late grandson, Sheba simply swapped David with her tail as she stuck her tongue out at her technically father-in-law "Heh, violent you are daughter of mine."

The others simply chuckle at the moment, before they turned their attention back to the scene going on before them. In amusement more now than anything beforehand towards the brother's antics.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Ha, Ha!" Moses laughed in glee, enjoying the speeding exhilarating race so far with his elder brother

"Faster, you beasts. You run like mules!" Rameses simply shouted out as byproduct, from his own enjoyment of the race with his younger brother. Passing by a wall, one a hieroglyph of warrior in chariot with a bow in hand. Rameses hoped one day to be like that when he became king. By this Moses point had caught up with him

"Hey, Rameses, how'd you like your face carved on a wall?" Moses asked, amusingly as he took notice of his brothers action moments ago. That and it was perfect punchline for his next move to get a lead ahead of him, even if it would give his elder brother a bit of scare

"Someday, yes!" Rameses answered, as the servants watching noticed the small smirk Moses sported

"How about now!" Moses yelled, in amusement as he pushed his chariot against Rameses. The wheels of Rameses chariot pushing against the wall a little as sparks flew for a moment or so. Before Rameses was able to straighten himself up

"'You almost killed me!" Rameses scolded his younger brother, while Moses only found this more amusing

"Oh, come on. Where's your sense of fun?" Moses remarked, as he was only trying to loosen that staff out of his brother's backside a little

"Oh, it's fun you want?" Rameses replied back, smirking a little now as he did the same thing Moses did. Only the servants could see Moses had been ready, as the younger brother pulled his reins back. Making his duo of horses slow down. Just enough that Rameses missed, before going down a hillside and stopped at the bottom. Rameses taking a moment to catch his breath. Though didn't see his brother "Moses?"

Instead of an answer, Moses appeared leaping over Rameses from a small ledged to right. Landing before making his way off. Rameses smiled, before following. While the scene zoomed out showing the two brothers still racing towards and most likely into the city before them.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Dear son of an Anubis no…" Cleopatra muttered, as she already could tell what possible damages, and such would occur from this race between the two royal brothers

"So, on a scale of one to ten. How angry would you have been if this was during your reigns." Martha asked, curious as the others simply stayed quiet

"Over twenty." Cleopatra answered first, rather quickly too as she could already tell if her own kids did this. Mainly he sons, she would have been livid that would be for sure and not to mention how bad it would have looked on them if someone got killed during all of this

"Oh yeah, trust me if any heirs were around during dear Ozzy's reign. He wouldn't have hurt them, but he'd probably had sent them off for a few months to labor over the damages and I would have been fully supportive of it too." Nitocris exclaimed, as she knew that despite how her friend was at times with his temperament. He wasn't cruel in the manner of speaking, at least if had come to any heirs he could have had if he did at that time; that and she would have loved to have been called 'Auntie Nitocris' too if only

"Huh, well at least…your honest." Martha muttered as she was surprised at how quickly they answered her

The rest meanwhile stayed quiet, but also had to agree with Martha. Still like usual so far, they all continued to watch the scene of the royal twin's race. Waiting to see what would occur and what punishments would come if they were caught.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

It turns out, Cleopatra's and Nitocris worries were confirmed. When the scene changed showing a sort of form of Egyptian chess being played by a few citizens. Before the board started to shake. Then came Moses crashing right through, running over the gameboard only and thankfully. While giving the players and everyone else around a scare. Rameses passing by moments later, both brothers racing down the street nearly avoiding hitting people. Until they ended up on a long road for them to race on, Moses at this point was low to the ground, while Rameses somehow found higher ground to race on.

Come on, Moses. Admit it. You've always looked up to me!" Rameses teasing his younger brother

"Yes, but it's not much of a view!" Moses chimed back, as he looked up seeing his older brother's undergarments and laughed some before Rameses crashed down in front of him from above. Before the racing continued, but again one of the six servants HAD to ask one of their Egyptian friends some insight here

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Hey, Cleo, Nito. I know we're asking lots from you. But estimated amount. How much would have in damages would this little race have cost in your own kingdoms if something like this happened?" Sheba asked, curious if it was something more in the higher or maybe even lower ranges of prices if one were to go with the old currency of gold in their region

"I'd say maybe a good chunk out my own personal vault if anything." Cleopatra answered first, as she did know that damages to the city at times were paid out of her own wealth, if need be

"Same. But hey, sometimes a ruler has to lose some to make some more later on. A ruined city is one of those inevitable hazards to personal wealth. But such was one of many plights of ruling a large scaled civilization." Nitocris answered next, with a shrug

Sheba simply hummed at the answers given to her, the others staying silent during this all either from no experience in that department or just not wanting too. All of them resuming on watching the movie.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

As the brothers continue to race through the city before. The two eventually ended up on and going down a wooden scaffold that was being used by some of the Egyptian workers to finish up the final touch on a sphinx. Only the scaffolding turns started to get narrow. Like real narrow, to the point where the race caused the scaffolding to start to break apart. One worker who'd been starting to paint the final touches on the sphinx's face, falling off and used a rope to catch himself. Only for the brush in his hand to follow and made a wide black smile on the sphinx.

It would have been a little amusing to the servants. IF only the next part showed just the brothers stopping right at the edge of the barrier at the bottom, and that was used to hold up the scaffolding in the first place. Before they took a moment, and uneasily chuckled with one another.

But that didn't last, as much to all the servants cringe. Especially Cleopatra's and Nitocris. They saw the wood used to hold the barrier full of sand. Break, the sand flowing down and out like a desert tidal wave. At the same time, the scene had changed showing a nicely dressed thin man and a fat one. Most likely some nobles. Walking behind some servants holding fans and such. Doing prayers. Before the thin man noticed behind them the sandy tidal wave coming. Tapping his friend's shoulder, the larger of the two looked back and saw this also. Both running through the servants seconds later. In a vain hope though, as the sandy tidal waved consumed them all in its wake.

All the while Moses and Rameses in a mix of panic; and excitement road the wave. Doing the best they could to navigate their chariots and horses through it. Until they reached the end, both safely enough landing on ground. As the two decided to stop the race; but kept riding away to hopefully avoided being spotted in this whole mess.

"You don't think we'll get in trouble for this, do you?" Rameses asked, still a little worried that they'd get caught

"No, not a chance." Moses answered back, as he was sure that wouldn't be the case

The two then continued back to the city as the scene zoomed out slowly showing their home from a distance. The servants couldn't help but get their thoughts out on this scene alone already.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Oh, OH gods if that had happened. I don't Ozzy wouldn't be much merciful. Heck, I'd probably be screaming my throat out if I caught whoever did just… just THAT!" Nitocris stated, rather suspired at what just occurred and also knowing for a fact how bad it would have been to whoever had done something like that during her time

"Yeah I gotta say. Might not know exactly what you're feeling. But I'd be pretty pissed if something grand as Sphinx was messed up just because two idiots were just dicking around." David chimed in, as he at least understood the severity

"Personally I found it funny." Avicebron remarked, as the other looked at him for a few moments as the masked man simply shrugged "What?"

"Nothing, but of course you'd think it was funny." Cleopatra whispered, before she sighed "Personally if that happened back during my rule. If it was my kids, grounded for like a year and forced to labor with fixing their little mistake. Anyone else, harsh as it sounds. Death by burning golden snakes for two days straight!"

"Remind me to never tick you off Cleo." Sheba exclaimed, as she kept quiet herself on this since she knew despite her own anger if her own kid had done this or worse if some idiot stranger did something like this. Her dear Solamon would have forgiven the transgression either way, maybe a bit stern about it; but forgiven no doubt. Lord did she dearly miss that man "Still, I'll admit it was a little funny too when the smile was painted on."

"Agreed, still we have a movie to keep on watching. Let's do so." Martha happily exclaimed

The others simply nodded in agreement, before turning for the… the… ugh who know, the fourth or fifth time. Eh, still they continued to watch the movie before them unfold.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

Once the servants continued to watch. The scene changed to a new one. Showing a staff called a Crook swinging downward, before it landed against a palm of a hand. Barley being seen was a man in white robes with gold and possibly blue. His body shrouded slightly in the shadows. As from behind were both a nervous Moses and Rameses.

"Why do the gods torment me with such reckless, destructive, blasphemous sons?" The man stated, in calm but known anger. It was pretty clear too, considering who the boys were. This man must have been their father; the Pharoh

"Father, hear what I..." Rameses tried to say, but was cut off by his father

"Be still. Pharaoh speaks!" The Pharoh ordered, before calming himself. Showing him fully now as he wore a head piece too and looked like his sons in many ways. Even if Moses was an adopted son. The servants could see too that they were in his personal quarters

The Queen was to his right, while the thin and fat man from before were to his left. The servants guessed now, that these two were his royal advisors or even his royal magicians. Still the scene continued as the Pharoh addressed his sons.

"I seek to build an empire, and your only thought is to amuse yourselves, by tearing it down. Have I taught you nothing?" The Pharoh scolded, calmly but stern too as his sons averted their gazes for a moment or so. All the while the scene switched for a moment to show the outside of this room of the lovely landscape and Sphinx from a distance, before switching back to the Pharoh

"You mustn't be so hard on yourself, your Majesty. You're an excellent teacher." The fat advisor said first, in a slightly boot licking manner as he bowed alongside his thinner fellow

"It's not your fault your sons learned nothing." The thinner advisor chimed, in an equally boot licking manner. Before booth stood back up, and began making their way off

"They learned blasphemy." The fat advisor snarked, with a slight hushed tone

"True." The thin advisor agreed, as it seemed he and his fellow didn't have such a great view on the two young princes as they passed by Moses and Rameses; before vanishing from sight

"Father, the fault is mine. I goaded Rameses on, and so I am responsible." Moses admitted, as even if he could be a mischievous one and a bit lazy at times. He wasn't one to shy away from his mistakes; especially if it included his older brother

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Well I'll admit, the boy at least is honest. Mischievous maybe, but he's honest with his faults." David stated, as that kind of remind of his dear son Salomon; oh how that boy was when he was but a lad

"That he is. But then again, it is a value that should be praised more no matter one's own belief." Martha chimed in happily, as she did hold many taught values like honesty in high regards

"You mean to be always honest, because that can be a bit bad in its own way too you know?" Avicebron exclaimed, as Marth sighed bit smiled still at her friends words

"True, but I mean more in the sense when it comes to giving someone advice or helping them change to become better people. Small little lies can be useful too, but only if they aren't permanently damaging." Martha explained, being more clear this time on her meaning "That and-"

"Either way, it's a good trait, now please let's not argue and enjoy the rest of the movie." Sheba cut in before either Avicebron or Martha could continue on, they didn't need a passive aggressive argument or lecture to start now

With a small pout from at least Martha and a slight chuckle from Avicebron. They all focused back on the movie, as it was getting more and more interesting to them by the second.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Hmm. Responsible and do you know the meaning of that word, Rameses?" The Pharoh responded back, glancing at Moses for a moment. Before he turned his attention full on his oldest son, Rameses

"I understand, Father." Rameses said, though felt a bit more nervous when he knew his father was gonna be extra harder on him considering his future role in life

"And do you understand the task for which your birth has destined you. The Ancient Traditions. When I pass into the next world, then you will be the morning and evening star." The Pharoh explained, stern still as Rameses and Moses listened on. But a few moments later, Rameses got that rare moment to talk back to his father

"One damage temple does not destroy centuries of tradition!" Rameses argued, as Moses had tried to stop him; but was obviously too late for that

"But one weak link can break the chain of a mighty dynasty!" The Pharoh argued back, making Rameses flinch just a bit; but before more could be said. The Queen moved closer to her husband, touching him on the shoulder as they stared at one another. Before the Queen motioned to Rameses as the Pharoh looked back at his oldest. After a few more seconds the Pharoh sighed, before addressing his sons once more, his back turned to them "You have my leave to go."

"Father..." Rameses said, to try and apologize and explain to his father with a clearer head. But his mother raised a hand. A way of saying 'Leave it for now'. Rameses frowned angrily a little, before making his way off

As Rameses did so, Moses watched his brother leave with a sad look. Knowing that his brother always seemed to get the short end of the stick when it came to them both getting in trouble with their father. Looking back, he moved closer to his father.

"Father. You know it was really my fault. Must you be so hard on him?" Moses asked, if only to see if he could get their father to not be as hard on Rameses as he usually was at times such as these. His father sighing, before looking back to Moses

"Moses, you will never have to carry a burden like the crown I will pass to Rameses. He must not allow himself to be led astray, not even by you, my son." The Pharoh explained, in a kinder tone and with some regrets seemingly that he had to be so hard on his oldest son, the scene changing too as the Pharoh lined up a bit with the sphinx of himself once more; but in a fashion more akin to symbolization now

Though a servant in the group, watching had a question yet again toward the know parents in their group. That being Martha, towards of course Cleopatra at least. Though maybe David if he felt like answering, or not saying anything on it like usual.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"You know I'm curious but Cleo how'd you raise your kids anyways. It's sometimes hard to remember you had kids." Martha asked, as she was curious on how Cleopatra did interact with her kids back in her mortal life

"Oh well to be honest. I did my best not to spoil my kids, my sons were easier to raise. While like I said before, my daughter and I could get at it at times. But I loved them dearly with all my heart. My brats, heh. But to give you a better answer, I raised them to be just productive royals of our society back then. Sadly, it seems even the grails knowledge has no idea on what happened after my… sudden death." Cleopatra answered kindly

"Well, they sound like… good kids or did sound like they were." Avicebron chimed in, as Cleopatra smiled a little knowing that was his own way of giving his late condolences to her

"Thank you, still I do kind of disapprove what the Pharoh in this movie said to Rameses. That sort of thinking can cause…issues later on in life." Cleopatra explained

"True and for someone in a future position of power. The father's words might carry more weight than most other times." David added in, not that he knew much himself. Considering he barely knew his own son back then. As shameful as that was of him to admit, still it was a good and educated guess on his part

The rest simply kept quiet as they felt they hadn't had anything to add to this conversation. Though Nitocris was now much more certain that this Rameses might be the very one she served if with slight differences. Like the name for one. Maybe not, still it was a good idea that she didn't try and get her friend Ozymandias to join in today and do whatever he'd been doing for another day. Since if it was the same person being depicted in this movie, Gods know if the man would have had, some bad memories come up.

Still, everyone put their focus back on the movie. Waiting to see what would come next in this altered tale of Moses so far.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"All he cares about is... is your approval. I know he will live up to your expectations. He only needs the opportunity." Moses reassured his father, on his brothers behalf as it seemed the Pharoh took head of those words

"Maybe. Maybe so. Go now. I shall see you both tonight." The Pharoh said, as Moses did as the man watched him go. His Queen moving near his side as she watched too. All the while the side panoramic view appeared once more and showed the shinning sun upon the city they had built upon for generations

After that. The scene once more changed to showing Moses, whistling a rather familiar tune from earlier in the movie and one the servants took notice of quickly. Still, they also saw him sewing what looked to be a bag in his hands. But showed him walking up to a large clay made statue to one of their Egyptian gods. On the second statue near the open ledge that gave a good view of the city, Rameses sat on the lap of it. The shade covering him a bit, as the older sibling seemed irked. Moses seeing this frowned a bit. But knew just the remedy for this.

"Well, that went well." Moses said loudly as he leaned against the statues leg, he also sounded a bit amused too

"Just go away." Rameses replied back, not in the mood for his brother right now; but Moses was a stubborn one as he forgot at that moment

"Could have been worse." Moses mused, as Rameses sighed a little before responded back

" 'The weak link in the chain.' That's what he called me." Rameses complained, as those words had rather stung, Moses having a feeling that was the main reason for his brother mood. Took a moment, before he knew what to do yet again

"Well.. you are rather pathetic." Moses teased, as he snorted a bit knowing that getting his brother riled up; helped calm him down quicker after a while

"Irresponsible, ignorant of the traditions. He practically accused me of bringing down the dynasty!" Rameses continued to complain, looking down to his brother now

"Yeah, I can see it now. There go the pyramids!" Moses joked, laughing a bit. Having nearly finished with his sowing, he then moved over near a table that held a bowl full of red juice

"You can laugh about it!" Rameses scolded his younger brother, leaping down the statue and moving closer to him

"Statues cracking and toppling over. The Nile drying up. Single-handedly, you will manage to bring the greatest kingdom on earth to ruin." Moses still joked, now done sowing his bag. As he opened it, before taking some of the red juice into it and then tied the top

"Tell me this, Moses. Tell me this. Why is it that every time you start something, I'm the one who ends up in trouble?!" Rameses asked, as it seemed he always was the one who got in trouble even when it was clearly Moses fault

Moses during this, had moved over to the open ledge. Before looking down for a few moments, then dropped the bag, before watching for a few seconds. Then hid back, as the sounds of juice filled bag breaking echoed; followed by two people gasping in shock.

Rameses out of curiosity, looked over the ledge seeing the two advisors for his father. Both covered in the red liquid with even a few slices of fruit n them. Their white cloth clothing stained red. Both men grumbling before the fatter one looked up seeing Rameses. The servants watching, got a quickly laugh out of that scene just now.

"Ah, Rameses. You're in trouble, young man!" The fat advisor yelled, pointing a finger at him like a scolding teacher

"Rameses, get down here. I think you owe us an apology!" The thin advisor added in, angrily as he was also began pointing at the older sibling prince too

Speaking of Rameses, he flinched back. More so for the fact that now he was gonna be in trouble even more with his father and probably his mother too. Looking left then right for his brother. He saw Moses holding the rest of the bowl of the red juice to him.

"You might as well." Moses mused, as he smirked knowing this was the final part of getting his brother to feel better

Rameses for his part, smirked back moments later. Before he took the bowl of red juice and poured it over and on the two irritating advisors. Who simply yelled and grumbled more about their clothes being ruined. Rameses placing the bowl down, while Moses decided to have a bit more fun teasing his older brother.

"Hey. I figured it out. You know what your problem is Rameses?" Moses mused, as he and Rameses began to make their way off

"What?" Rameses questioned, curious on what his brother would say now

"You care too much." Moses answered, smirking a bit as his brother smirked back

"And your problem is, you don't care at all." Rameses replied back, amused as he twisted his hand on his brother's head. Showing a moment later, that it was a wig his brother wore around. Moses fixing his wig moments after, as he took it off

"Oh, in that case, I suppose you care a lot more than I do that we're late for the banquet, for example." Moses remarked, as he held his wig in his hands for a moment; before placing I back on his head and wanted to see his brother's reaction

Said reaction wasn't seen by Moses, but the servants saw and got a small chuckle out of it. As they saw Rameses who was smiling moments ago. Go wide eyed in horror that he was LATE. Moments later, the scene changed showing both brothers running down a flight of stairs. Both now wearing much more gold jewelry and cleaner clothing.

"I'm done for. Father will kill me." Rameses said, nervous beyond belief by this point as Moses was pushing him forwards and down the stairs

"Don't worry." Moses reassured his brother as they were nearing the end of the stairs. While he also shooing away a servant trying to do last minuets fixes on Moses at least "Nobody will even notice us coming in."

The servants all cringed seconds later when the saw the scene change once more. Showing the brothers had reached the bottom of the stairs and walked through a pair of curtains. Only for them to be greeted by a whole crowd of their citizens cheering. Their father ahead of them and their mother waiting near their right. All in all, it wasn't the idea situation for the young princes.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Ehh…." Cleopatra, Nitocris and Sheba at least said, cringing as sudden memories similar to the scene before them came back

"Bad memories ladies?" David inquired with a smirk as the three gave him a glare "Oh so they are, do share please."

"Stop it. Behave David." Martha playfully scolded, before she smirked a little too "But if you would be so dear, maybe you can share later?"

"FINE. At least for me since I know you won't take no for an answer. You or David." Nitocris relented as she knew it was either this or be pestered later on by her friends for details

"At least Avicebron here isn't being nosey." Sheba stated, until she heard a small rare snicker coming from the gold masked man "No…"

"What can I say ladies. I'm curious too, so get to talking please. At least after the movie like Martha suggested and we'll keep you good on that promise." Avicebron exclaimed rather smugly

"Defiantly!" Martha and David chimed in, smirking too as the other women grumbled some

"Oh, let's just get back to watching to movie okay?!" Cleopatra stated, before she sighed "Evil, evil they are…"

That aside, the six once more focused on the movie scene before them. Though mostly for Cleopatra, Nitocris and Sheba to forget the impending doom their other friends were gonna force upon them after this was done and over with. Joy...

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Nobody will even notice…" Rameses muttered through his teeth, as he gave his younger brother the stink eye; Moses on his part simply smiled the best he could. But just then their mother came up to them

"Ah, the young princes!" The Queen said with a loud and regal tone, pulling her sons into a hug before she addressed Rameses in a much more silent stern tone "Rameses, you were just named prince regent. You are now responsible for overseeing all the temples. I suggest you get over there and thank your father."

With a gentle push, the Queen lead Rameses towards the Pharoh who happily greeted him as they waved to the crowd of their loyal citizens. Moses and the Queen clapping; before the Queen addressed her second son.

"Apparently, Moses, someone thought he just needed the opportunity." The Queen explained as Moses smiled that his father took his words to heart. Feeling like he needed to also contribute some more, he walked up in between his father and older brother

"My Lord Pharaoh. I propose that the high priests offer tribute to their new regent!" Moses happily suggested

"An excellent idea." The Pharoh happily agreed. Before turning his attention downwards to his two advisors who were at a table where some food and drinks were "Hotep, Huy!"

This startled the now named advisors, who'd heard the whole thing while dinning and enjoying the drinks on the table before them. Taking a moment or so to think of something. It was Hotep, the fat advisor who figured out the perfect gift, then looked to Huy the thin advisor.

"Huy." Hotep whispered

"Hmm?" Huy muttered back

"The Midian girl." Hotep suggested with a smirk

"That's a good idea. Go get her!" Huy agreed in full, before booking it to get said gift'

By this point the women watching at least, cringed yet again a little having a rather good idea on WHAT exactly they meant and that it wasn't someone who was…willing. But instead the exact opposite. They watched in as Hotep got himself ready and stepped forwards to the royals.

"By the power of Ra, we present for your delegation and delight, an exotic apparition stolen from a faraway land!" Hotep said, loudly and with authority as he spun what seemed to be a rounded metal lap on a string. Smoke coming from it to make a awe filled effect as his whole body was shrouded in it

Once the smoke died down, a large round tent of sorts appeared for a moment or so, before it opened and much to the women servants guess. They were correct, when they saw a camel laying on a fancy pedestal. Huy holding a rope tied around a Hebrew woman's wrists who sat upon a camel.

The woman in question wore lovely dark blue clothing on her, with some gold arm bands, ankle bands, and gold earrings. Her lovely dark skin, black tied hair and brown eyes did add to her appeal. David cringed a little too, having seen sadly similar displays in his own time. The women servants meanwhile could tell that she must have been a Hebrew woman who had been recently captured; then was to be made to be sold or given as gift for someone. They even noticed this woman seemed confused at where she was at and why.

"We offer you this delicate desert flower." Hotep stated, before pulling roped around the Hebrew woman's wrists. Making the girl gasps for a moment as she landed on her bare feet barely; then was able to catch herself. The women servant, once again cringed seeing this as it was something all too real in the past of their lives one way or another

Though as the servants watched on, they saw Rameses and Moses look at the captive women in awe at her exotic beauty. Getting up, Rameses moved a little closer and grabbed the bottom of the woman's chin as he smirked.

"Let us inspect this desert flower." Rameses mused, as it was moment or so more before the Hebrew woman tried to bite his index finger off. Rameses backed off as he shook his hand for a moment and stared at the rather bitty women "More like a desert cobra."

"Not much of a snake charmer, are you?" Moses teased, before Rameses smirked a little back at his younger brother

"That's why I give her to you!" Rameses mused, moving behind his little brother as he began to push him towards the Hebrew woman. Much to the servant's slight amusement there, as Moses went from being amused himself too straight up nervous

"No, that's generous, but..." Moses began to say, but was cut off when the Hebrew woman final spoke

"I won't be given to anyone. Especially an arrogant, pampered palace brat!" The Hebrew woman screamed angrily, with a rather intense glare towards Moses

"Are you going to let her talk to you like that?" Rameses mused, smirking still as this to him was making good entertainment. Seems Moses took that seriously, as he straightened himself out and sternly gazed at the bound woman

"You will show the proper respect for a prince of Egypt!" Moses stated with his best authoritative tone

"But I am showing you all the respect you deserve. None!" The Hebrew woman screamed back in defiance, before being able to rip the rope out of Hotep's hands and swing it around like a whip

"No. Wait!" Moses yelled to few guards, who had their weapons out by this point. Before leaping at the end of the rope and getting a hold of it. Using all his strength to keep the struggling woman at bay. As he laid on the ground "Be still!"

"Untie this rope, I demand you set me free!" The Hebrew woman snapped back, doing what she could to break free from Moses grasps

"Be still!" Moses ordered once more

"Let go!" The Hebew woman argued back, as Moses took notice behind was one of the small pounds they had and smiled

"As you wish." Moses mused, before letting go. The sudden releases, pushed the Hebrew woman towards and over into small pond as she let out a yelp

As the servants watched, most kept quiet though felt quite the sympathy for this woman. As the crowd around simply laughed at her, while she was soaked. The palace guard ran up and picked her up by the arms. Again, the servants all felt bad for the woman. Moses chuckled some but looked back to see his mother seemed a little disappointed in him. But before Moses could dwell on why that was, the brother cut in.

"Have her dried off and sent to Prince Moses chambers." Rameses ordered one of the many servants in the room, before making his way back to the Pharoh alongside Moses "If it pleases you father, my first act as regent. Is to appoint Moses, as royal chief architect!"

As Rameses proclaimed that, proudly and gave Moses a one-armed hug. Before presenting him with a gold ring that a green emerald in the center, a ring he'd worn himself. The crowd cheered. Moses smiling a little, but as he took notice once more of the Hebrew woman being escorted back to his chambers, by a servant. Both their eyes meeting as she gave him a glare, before looking away. Moses couldn't help guilty after that. Despite the happy cheering around him.

The servants watching the scene play out, didn't say much. But they had a feeling that Moses at least was feeling guilty of what had just gone on. That and felt guilty for being the one to make the Hebrew woman seem even more miserable then she'd already seemed.

Still as the servants watched on, the scene changed showing Moses open the doors to his chambers. Seeing his bed with the curtains pulled out. With the fire near lighting from behind, showing a shadowy silhouette of the Hebrew woman. Still the servants could see, Moses was fretting over what had transpired still. Seeing him stop near his bed and took a moment to calm himself. Like he was prepping to apologize.

"Ahem… right." Moses muttered, before he opened to curtains to speak with the Hebrew woman, but as he did. He instead, was greeted by a different sight

It was the palace servant that led her up to his room tied up, next to a pillar from his bed were his two dogs tied up too. Moses looked towards his window and much his surprise; a sheet had been tied around pillar leading down. Quickly Moses moved over to edge, as he and the servants watching the scene. Saw the Hebrew woman had made a break for it, already ground side with camel as she pulled the beast alongside here in a sneaky fashion.

"Shh." The Hebrew woman whispered, to the camel who making some noise as she continued her way to the exit. But didn't seem to take notice of two guards nearing her very location by chance. Moses meanwhile having made his way down now rather quickly, noticed this himself and decided to do something about it

"Guards!" Moses yelled as the Hebrew woman froze suddenly realizing Moses had seen her. The guards taking notice of him quickly

"Prince Moses!" The guards replied back if not with some surprise, but already at his beck and call for whatever he needed of them

"Uh, there's a..." Moses started to say, as he was for a moment torn on what to do exactly. But looking slightly past the guards and into the nervous gaze of the Hebrew woman. He already knew what he MUST do "A man is tied up in my room… well, look into it!"

"Right away, sire!" The two guards responded back, before passing Moses

Moses meanwhile watched the guards for a few more seconds before they vanished around the corner. Once he knew they were gone, he looked back. Seeing the Hebrew woman was gone. Quickly making his way to the entrance of his home. He saw the woman with her camel, was already walking down hill towards were the slaves lived at. Curiosity enraptured him, as he followed behind.

As the servants continued watching. They noticed it didn't seem to take too long, as Moses silently as possible followed the Hebrew woman. Until he stopped and watched as he found her talking to two of the slaves. Staying as quiet as he could, to listen in and see what they were saying.

"Please, I need water. I have a long journey ahead of me." The Hebrew woman whispered to what Moses and the servants watching could tell. Were one female and male slave near a well, to the servants watching they oddly looked familiar like they'd seen them before already in the movie

But none made a comment as they watched on, seeing the slave woman hand the Hebrew woman a water bag from the well. The Hebrew woman happily taking and thanking the two of her own kind for helping her, despite them being possibly caught. The Hebrew woman getting her camel to stand back up now, as it had been laying once more on the ground.

"May God protect you." The slave woman kindly said in hushed tone, as the Hebrew woman's camel was back on its feet now

"Thank you. Hut-hut!" The Hebew woman thanked, before she gave her camel two kicks to the side as the mount began it way off.

As Moses watches, not realizing he was moving closer by accident and out of pure curiosity. His left foot bumped into a clay pot as it fell over and broke. It was then when the slave woman and man noticed him. Both quickly realizing who this was at least status wise considering his clothing.

"Oh. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I... Oh, please forgive me. I... I didn't expect to see you here." The slave woman began to say, a bit nervous at first before she got a good look at Moses face and her nervousness became that one of pure joy "Of all places, at-at-at our door. Mmm, at last!"

"Oh…" David said first, as he was already knowing this wasn't gonna be a fun reunion

"Eh…." Nitocris cringed next, as she could feel the awkwardness about to happen despite the fact it was just an animated movie

"Ah…." Sheba tried to say something, but dear heavenly lord above this was gonna be uneasy to watch

"Urrrrggggh…." Martha also tried to say, but she felt this was gonna be really awkward. Almost as awkward then the time her little brother walked in on her changing and you know what the cringe was already getting to her

"Ssssss…" Cleopatra hissed through her teeth, as she had somewhat similar situations like this; be it thankfully not as bad as this was gonna be

"Awkward…." Avicebron muttered, as he was had a feeling this was gonna happen one way or another in this movie. Though, he still felt the awkwardness himself

Oh yes, the servants all watched, as the awkwardness of this scene was about to play out… oh joy.

"At last?" Moses replied back to the slave woman, chuckling too though didn't know why he oddly felt at ease with these two particulars slaves. The slave woman moving over to the man with her

"Didn't I tell you, Aaron. I knew he would return to us when he was ready." The slave woman began to say to the man, who didn't seem as… happy

"Miriam, do you want us flogged?" The slave man or Aaron said to the slave woman or Miriam, as he seemed worried all of sudden while Miriam was a little too happy to listen and moved back closer to Moses

"I knew you cared about our freedom!" Miriam happily stated

"Miriam!" Araon yelled, but already knew this wasn't going to be as much of peaceful night as he hoped

"Freedom?" Moses mused, with a raised eyebrow as he was getting more confused now by these two slaves "Why would I care about that?

"Because you're... well, you're our brother." Miriam answered, confused herself as she didn't expect this sort of response for their dearly long lost little brother

"What?" Moses questioned, now a bit surprised from the declaration

"Be..." Miriam tried to say, but sighed as this was becoming a reunion that was much more different then she'd hoped for "They never told you?"

"Who never told me what?" Moses asked, as alongside his confusion he was starting to become irritated

"But you're here. You must know!" Miriam argued, before she tried to reach out to touch Moses

"Be careful, slave!" Moses warned, in a slight panic as he flinched back a little as to be not touch by the slave woman claiming to be his sister. Aaron at the same time, pulling his sister back as he grabbed her by the shoulders

"Oh, my good prince. Um, she's... she's exhausted from the day's work. Uh, not that it was too much. We... We quite enjoyed it. B-But she's confused and knows not to whom she speaks." Aaron quickly tried to explain, as to not anger the man who could kill them by a simple order if needed be; even giving his sister a stern glare pulling her a bit closer by the arm now as she glared back

"I know to whom I speak, Aaron." Miriam stubbornly answered, before prying her arm from her brothers grasp. Then looked back to Moses "I know who you are. And you are not a prince of Egypt!"

"Miriam!" Araon warned once more, more panicked in his tone as he was trying his best to keep his sister from getting herself killed

The servants couldn't help but worry some, knowing that what was being said could either end up with a favorable result or a more unsavory one depending on how Moses would take this.

"What did you say?" Moses questioned, his irritation replaced with anger now at the utter words this slave woman spoke. Meanwhile, Aaron moved in front of his sister

"Your Highness, pay her no heed. C-Come, Miriam. May I discuss something with you?" Aaron yet again, tried to explain as he needed a real good talk with his sister after or IF they got out of this alive; pulling her away now by the arms yet again

"No, Aaron. No!" Miriam argued on, as she kept her gaze upon Moses "Please, Moses, you must believe!"

"That's enough." Aaron pleaded, as he was trying to pull his sister away still as Miriam herself fought against him

"You were born of my mother, Yocheved!" Miriam kept on explaining as she couldn't let this rest and be left alone

"Stop it." Aaron yet again pleaded with his sister to stop, as he was very worried now this might be their last night alive. Marium finally breaking free as she continued on

"You are our brother!" Mariam finally answered, much to Moses utter disbelief at the sheer audacity of this slave woman

"Now you go too far. You shall be punished!" Moses threatened, as he gave the slave woman a glare

"No. Please, uh, Your Highness. She's ill. She's very ill. We beg your forgiveness!" Aaron pleaded, on his knees for a few moments as he begged. Before getting and grabbing his sister by the shoulders pulling her away "Please, Miriam, let us go."

"No, Aaron. Our mother set you adrift in a basket to save your life!" Miriam stubbornly kept on saying, ignoring the pleads from her brother to stop

"Save my life. From who?" Moses questioned, a moment of confused curiosity overcoming his anger if only for a moment

"Ask the man that you call 'Father'." Miriam answered, a little snippy at that too as Aaron was fearing for his sisters life even more now

"How dare you!" Moses screamed, his anger coming back towards the slave woman before him

"God saved you to be our deliverer!" Miriam continued to explain as Aaron let her go by this point, already knowing there was no way to come back from this now

"Enough of this." Moses ordered, but was ignored as Miriam continued with the explanation

"And you are, Moses. You are the deliverer!" Miriam screamed, before Moses finally snapped and grabbed her by the arm

"I said, enough!" Moses yelled, at his wits end before he threw Mariam's arm away and in turn making Mariam fall to the group with a grunt of pain "You will regret this night."

Moses then began to make his way off, his anger festering as he was gonna report these two slaves and they'd be sorry then. Only this moment was yet to be over, as after a few seconds of silence as Moses made his way further from the two slaves. Suddenly Miriam started to sing a song. One that made Moses stop in his tacks completely.

.

.

.

Hush now, my baby, be still, love don't cry.

As Miriam began to sing, Moses who'd stopped by now. Started to feel a sudden feeling of familiarity. It was…scary honestly. Very, very scary

Sleep as you're rocked by the stream. Sleep and remember my last lullaby.

Again as Moses listened to Miriam sing, he realized it eerily sounded similar to the little tune he'd whistle sometimes or that he heard in his dream at times even now. Looking back, he saw Aaron lean against a wall facing away, while Miriam looked up to him. Their eyes meeting one another seconds later.

So, I'll be with you when you dream.

.

.

.

Miriam sung on, a lone tear rolling down her left eye as Moses suddenly got a brief if not faint flash of memory. Of a woman he never knew, but look similar to how Miriam was currently. The servants watching couldn't help but make a comment or so on this very scene.

"Well I didn't expect this to happen in the movie. Can't help but feel a bit sad for Moses though here. I mean, I can't imagine what it must be like to have everything you held dear to you. Be in question." Martha exclaimed as she felt sorry for Moses here, honestly she couldn't imagine how confusing his ordeal must be all of sudden

"Well yeah. I mean how would you feel if you learned you're actually or in this case. Possibly, could be related to a people your own subjected for a LONG time." David rebutted, as at least to him that made sense

"Not to couple with the fact you just threated your possible and since we already know. But definite sister and brother. Probably added in a more personal stake for Moses now." Sheba exclaimed

"Well at least now he won't be so cocksure. A little humbling if you ask me." Avicebron exclaimed, though noticed Martha and Sheba at least giving him a pointed stare while David just shrugged "What, you know it's true."

Cleopatra and Nitocris simply stayed silent here. Though having surprisingly more in common with Moses here then their friends even. Since they themselves had gone through rather… similar experiences. During their first month of so in Chaldea. Neither wanted to go into it or talk about it. Hence why they stayed quiet. That and they wanted to get back to the movie, that was peaking their interesting more and more by the second.

Speaking of, all the servants did just that as they focused back on the scene.

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

As the servants watched on, they all saw the face of Moses become one of absolute denial and horror. Before he ran off and away back to the palace. Millions of thoughts coming through his mind, before he crashed on top of an older slave. Who when he saw who Moses was, screamed in terror.

Moses got off, before looking around seeing more slaves come out of their homes seeing what was going on. Moses mind racing more and more as he was now seeing ever more similarities between him; and them in many ways.

Ignoring the mutters, whispers and such. Moses booked it again and all the way back to his home. Before another song started. But unlike the one Miriam sung briefly, this one would be one near similar to one having a paradigm shift or in more simple terms. An identity crisis.

.

.

.

Gleaming in the moonlight, cool and clean and all I've ever known.

All I ever wanted. Sweet perfumes of incense, and graceful rooms of alabaster stone.

All I ever wanted. This is my home. With my father mother, brother.

Oh, so noble oh, so strong. Now I am home, here among my trappings and belongings, I belong.

As the song Moses sung, was seen to be only in his mind. Moses was seen running home, trying to feel a familiar comfort. Petting his dogs, looking over the hieroglyphs depicting him and his family. To even looking at a sword made just for him when he had turned sixteen.

And if anybody doubts it, they couldn't be more wrong.

I am a sovereign prince of Egypt. A son of the proud history that's shown etched on every wall.

Surely this is all I ever wanted.

All I ever wanted. All I ever wanted.

Moses then laid against a pillar in his room. Looking up in the stary night sky, the servants noticed Moses seemed to still have some doubt. Doubt that would follow him as he fell into a slumber.

.

.

.

The next scene suddenly showed Moses awakening, but in hieroglyphic form now. Looking around, he saw his father. The Pharoh ordering his men to do something. Maybe a dream or something else all this was. But it showed Egyptian soldiers marching and marching, spears and shields in hand. Moses fleeing uneasy as they got closer. Before he hid behind what looked to be some plants.

As Moses watched, the soldiers passed by. Through walls, corners and pillars. Before it ended up to hieroglyphic sight of the city of the enslaved Hebrews. The scene changed showing the Egyptian soldiers enter the city. Woman mainly, pleading for some reason. Only for that reason to be shown as the soldiers were taking babies from their cribs or forcing them out of the mother's arms.

While that occurred, Moses and servants watching the scene before them, saw it zoom to a mother and her two kids. One a boy and the other a girl, that looked familiar to Moses oddly in the movie. While to the servants, they could see it was hieroglyphic replay of the day Moses was sent down the river leading into the sea for his own safety.

Still Moses followed behind, watching and as if a blurry memory was becoming more; and more clearer to him now. Then he watched from afar as he saw the mother push a basket with a baby in it, down the river. The mother saddened by it as Moses let out a tear, feeling like he knew who that woman was and who the baby was as well. But the moment was cut short, when he looked back seeing Egyptian solider coming.

Running and running more, Moses suddenly fell over the edge into a red colored sea. Shadowy figures appearing around him and that looked oddly like small bodies. But that wouldn't be address any further here. As a large shadow loomed over a frightened Moses. Before it all went black.

"AH!" Moses screamed, awakening from the nightmare

Moses took a few moments, breathing in and out. Before he was calm enough to sit up and realize he had fallen asleep. But that dream, no that nightmare. The servants watching the scene could tell it was gnawing at him now. Moses himself thinking if he should go looking for answers.

Which quickly was answered, as Moses face went from contemplating. To determined, as he got up and the scene once more changed. Showing him running in a large room with many pillars and walls full of hieroglyphs. A torch in his hand as he ran and ran down to the hallway after hallway looking for what he NEEDED to find. He eventually did, much to his horror.

For once he found the very hieroglyph he was hoping wasn't there, it showed his father pointing ahead in manner of giving orders. A snap to a solider holding a baby in his hands. Then another snap to another solider throwing a baby in the river, alongside another who did the same. Then one last snap to more babies sinking down as crocodiles neared them and had their mouths opened.

The scene then changed, showing the whole image that was illuminated. As Moses placed his hand on the stone, dropping his torch. Before falling to his knees at the very sight of what was he could tell. Was a slaughter of helpless, newborn Hebrew babies. His eyes closed as if not to look upon the mural of death anymore. Before a hand suddenly was placed gently upon Moses head. The servants already had a good idea who it was, Moses father the Pharoh.

"The Hebrews grew too numerous." The Pharoh explained calmly, the scene showing the man addressing his son in rather regretful manner surprisingly "They might have risen against us."

"Father… tell me you didn't do this." Moses asked, in a strained tone as he looked back up at his father

"Moses, sometimes, for the greater good, sacrifices must be made." The Pharoh answered, looking ahead for a moment with a thousand yard stare. It was oddly humanizing of the man, if barely as despite that; Moses in the movie and the servants watching felt sick by that reasoning alone

"Sacrifices?" Moses replied back, in strained disgust as he'd gotten back up and placed his hand on one of the carvings of a baby

"Oh, my son." The Pharoh exclaimed, hugging his son for comfort. But what he said next, would only make it worse

.

"They were only slaves."

"OH FUCK YOU!" Avicebron in a very… VERY rare moment of anger, scream as everyone else flinched. Realizing this, he cleared his throat "Ahem, apologizes. Movie or not, that was bit… much. In some ways I mean..."

"No, no it's fine. Honest. Just never thought we'd hear you get so…" Cleopatra began to say, but stopped trying to find the nicest word to use here

"Expressive." David cut in, as he gave Avicebron a small smile before looking to the corner of his eye towards Cleopatra "That was what you wanted to say, right Cleo?"

"Right, right. Thanks David." Cleopatra thanked, as she was glad someone helped her out there

"Still can't blame you there. Sadly, that was the mentality Ozzy and even I once upon a time believed in fully. But after being here in Chaldea for so long. Well, you can guess now how we feel about some of our AHEM… past beliefs when it involved our slaves." Nitocris exclaimed with a somewhat down draught look on her

"You and I both. You and I both." Cleopatra exclaimed with a sigh

"Well, you all have fixed that by now. Like we've said many times before and will still. No need to worry anymore on it my friends." Martha kindly reminded her friends, before looking back at the scene before them "Though I'll admit, I'd probably be horrified if my own father or heaven forbid my brother. Said something like that, well that followed by a solid right hook to the gut."

"Same, still let's hope Moses realized how wrong what his father just said is." Sheba suggested kindly herself, as the others nodded. Though Avicebron flipped off the movie in another rare moment of slightly losing his cool even for a second more

None of the servants said much on that, but were a bit scared wondering what would ever happen if someone was able to actually piss Avicebron fully off. Either way, those questions put aside for now. As everyone focused once more on the scene playing out.

As the servants watched on, they notice the music playing became more akin to a horror movie. To further this feeling of horror, they also took notice of Moses eyes going wide. Before he moved back from his father. Looking at him in shock, before simply running away from the Pharoh and the mural to the genocide the man had committed so many years ago.

After that, the scene changed back to the very place were Moses had been found all those years ago. Moses seeming out of it as he sat on the stairs. Just staring at the water of the river near his feet. From behind the Queen came. Seeming worried for her younger son.

"Moses?" The Queen said, calmly as Moses looked back at her

"Is this where you found me?" Moses asked, as the Queen seemed to sigh a little knowing this had been a conversation coming one day

"Moses, please try to understand." The Queen stated, as she moved closer to her little boy

"So... So, everything I thought. Everything I am, is a lie." Moses mused, as the last string of hope that maybe just maybe it wasn't true died right there. Now he knew that the slave... his sister Miriam had been correct about his true origins

"No. You are our son, and we love you." The Queen reassured, kneeling near her son as she could tell Moses mind was in a place of confusion, anger and even some curiosity

"Why did you choose me?" Moses asked once more. As he truly was confused on why his mother all those years ago, who most likely knew what he was; had still chosen to take him in and love him as her own

"We didn't, Moses. The Gods did." The Queen answered, as she moved over and sat down next to her son, before gently placing her right hand on his arm; and started sing just a little

.

.

.

This is your home, my son, here the river brought you, and it's here the river meant to be your home.

Now you know the truth, love.

Now forget and be content, when the gods send you a blessing, you don't ask why it was sent.

As the Queen sung her short song, cupping her sons face with her hands in a motherly manner. She smiled as he stared back at her seeming a bit better, before both embraced in a hug. As for Moses, he at least could tell that if one person truly loved him. It was his mother. For the servants they could see it too and for those who'd been mothers themselves well…

"Are, are you two crying?" David asked, as he and the others noticed Cleopatra and Sheba sniffling a bit

"S-Sorry, just memories of my own kids. Oh, how I miss them." Cleopatra explained first, as she was sniffling some remember her own memories with her troublesome but beloved sons and daughter "Oh I didn't think this movie would bring up those memories."

"S-Should have called i-it. Oh, I miss my own little boy. So much!" Sheba exclaimed, whimpering some as Marth gave her a hug as the woman whimper a bit more

"To be honest. Didn't think this movie would bring up a LOT of feelings at all. Even with the subject matter, but gotta admit. Guess what I heard once has meaning." David stated, as he just gave Cleopatra a kind pat on the shoulder as Cleopatra was calmer now alongside Sheba

"What would that be?" Avicebron questioned, as David smirked back

"That movies are just a more literal form of telling a story. Without the words. Our masters told us that, early on when I overheard them talking about the subject to each other." David answered, smiling a bit "Didn't think much before on it, since we all we're so busy back them. But now, gotta say it holds truth."

"Hm, guess so." Avicebron muttered, before he focused back on the scene before them ending

The rest just did the same, glad to at least have a moment of happiness even if bittersweet from what had been seen beforehand. But, that wouldn't last too long sadly as the next scene started up.

As the scene changed, from the warm hearted moment. It came back to more… unsettling scene for the servant watching on.

As first it shows scrolls being placed down, before panning showing Raneses now wearing a head dress like his father. Discussing with others on what plans he had already in store. Using the very nose that had fallen off the sphinx earlier as a sort of flat land to use for the moment. All the while slaves around were working like usual.

"Last night, the Gods granted me a vision. I'm not merely going to restore this temple, I will make it more grand, more splendid than any other one in Egypt." Rameses explained, rather proudly at that

Though the scene then switched to Moses, who making his way up to where his brother was. While doing his best to ignore the whippings, beatings and general mistreatment of those he once called slaves; now simply his people.

As it continued on, the servants could tell that Moses whole perception on things had changed drastically over on simple night. The young man having trouble on trying to be indifferent to the treatment of the slaves.

It didn't help when one of them, that he bumped into. Started at him, with eyes either from hatred, fear or maybe a bit of both. Moses did his best to ignore it as he continued his way up. It seemed his brother moved to him, when Moses was close enough.

"Moses, look. Fate has turned our little misadventure into a great opportunity!" Rameses stated, as he and Moses began walking off to where Rameses was making his plans

Though as the happened. Moses took notice on a wooden scaffolding to his right. An old man being beaten and screamed at by a guard to work faster; and harder. The old man seeming to be too weak to do so. A bit aways he also saw his sister Miriam looking on with concern, while his brother Aaron though seeing this too. Knew that they couldn't do anything about it and kept on doing his job of chiseling into the stone.

"This is just the beginning. A gateway will open to an entire new city of white limestone, more dazzling than the sun. And here, a statue of Hapi." Rameses kept on, like nothing wrong was going on. All the while Moses was too busy hearing the old man being whipped over and over

"Hurry!" The guard doing the whipping yelled, as another whip smack echoed as Moses listened on

"...two great column halls." Rameses still kept on, as it was all Moses heard

For now. Moses looked back instead, seeing the old man being whipped even more viciously. But more importantly, he overheard his sister. Who finally seemed to have enough of the cruel abuse. Much to Moses own fear for his newly found sister's life.

"Stop it!" Miriam yelled, though it seemed to fall on deaf ears as the whipping continued. Miriam was about to walk up to stop it if so be it

"Miriam, no!" Aaron then yelled, grabbing his sisters arm to keep her back as the whipping continued

"Somebody's got to stop this!" Miriam argued, only for Aaron to hold her back in his own way of protecting her from getting killed by the guard

"There's nothing we can do." Aaron tried to explain, as Miriam seemed to be doing her best to try and get the guard to stop if only with words by this point

But the whipping continued, the old man getting hit once. Then twice, the for a third time as he screamed out in agony. All the while this happened, Moses watched as his face went from silent shock to all out horror. Before something suddenly occurred. Moses found the strength to speak up and move.

Stop it." Moses said first, in a hushed tone. Before he started to run and run faster by the second towards the guard, falling off the fallen nose of the Sphinx and into the sand. But got right back up, before ran on and bumped into a few slaves. But Moses still kept on towards the guard whipping the old man senseless "Stop. Stop it, leave that man alone!"

The servants watching were surprised by this, some more then others, as they decided to speak up just a bit on this life changing moment in the movie.

"I think Moses is having a breaking point at this moment." Cleopatra pointed out, but already had a rather suspicious feeling on what was gonna happen soon even if by accident

"That can be a good or bad thing depending. But back then, how was the punishment even for-" David asked back, also having a good sneaking suspicion on what was gonna happen real soon

"Depends, for me it was exile that was for sure." Cleopatra explained first, before Nitocris decided to chime in herself

"For me, it was imprisonment if Ozzy gave me authority. If it was Ozzy, well… better left unsaid." Nitocris stated, as she shuttered a bit from a few memories back then

"Either way, he'll be in trouble despite his status. Actually, he might be in even more trouble considering his position." Sheba added in, as those who had spoken either shrugged or nodded in agreement

Meanwhile, Martha and Avicebron wondered if what they also were assuming would happen. Once Moses made his way to the guard. Would happen like it had in the bible or would it be different. Either way the two kept quiet here at least as they and the rest continued watching to see the outcome of Moses sudden actions.

Back at the scene, the servants watched Moses getting closer to stop the sudden beating. Rameses and the other with him, took notice of what Moses was doing and were rightfully confused by it. Mostly Rameses who'd never seen his brother behave this way before.

"Moses?" Rameses yelled out, as he and the others saw Moses move up the scaffolding to where he guard was

After that, as it more of an accident then anything. But still a crime in the eyes of those who'd deem it as such. Moses leaped on the guards back when he was about to whip the old man once more. The force, flew Moses back on his feet a second after impact. While the guard fell off the edge and into some wood below.

The servants watching, cringed a little. Well more of Cleopatra, David and Sheba as they could tell that was the only outcome to occur with such a sudden act of trying to save the slave. Still as they and the rest of their fellow heroic spirits watched on, the scene showed people. Both slave and slavers. Gather around in shock.

"Out of my way. Out of my way, move!" Another guard ordered, as he looked over what had happened, before looking back up and around the crowd with a stern gaze "Who did this?!"

"Up there, it's him. Up there!" A man from the crowd screamed as the guard and everyone else around looked up barely seeing the sight of Moses

The scene itself even panned upwards to a shocked Moses, who realized a this very moment at what he'd done. Moses looking around seeing many slaves, even his siblings staring back at him. In shock, confusion or a bit of both even. Moses final let out a gasp, before he started running away.

"Moses!" Miriam yelled, as she grabbed him by the arm as both looked at one another

But that only lasted a few seconds, before Moses still in shock, shook her off before he continued running. Down the wooden scaffolding, past more slaves and down the hill of sand. Before his Brothers Rameses also tried stopping him.

"Moses, what's going on?" Rameses asked in concern for his younger brother as he grabbed him by the shoulders, but like with Miriam. Moses shrugged him off, before he continued running away "Moses!"

Moses then ran and ran, ignoring the stares or shouts to him. Moses simply ran, until he was near the gates that lead out from the city. Into the desert, to well who knew where after that. But as Moses was nearing the gate, Rameses came in. Riding on a chariot as he stopped in front of his brother.

"Moses!" Rameses said, as if this time that would stop his brother or break him out of whatever funk he was in

"Let me go!" Moses yelled. Passing by Rameses as he wasn't going to stop, not now after what he had just done

"No, wait!" Rameses pleaded, getting off his chariot and following behind Moses

"You saw what happened. I just killed a man." Moses tried to explain, as he was now walking through the gate leading out to the desert

"We can take care of that. I will make it so it never happened." Rameses tried to reassure, as he was getting more concerned for his brother by the second

"Nothing you can say can change what I've done." Moses yet again, tried to explain to his older brother

[][][][][][][][][][][][][][]

"Ah yes, it seems Rameses is trying to be fixer here. Despite what Moses did and how distraught he seems as well. I can't but feel bad for the older brother in this situation." Martha stated, with a sad smile of her own

"Because of you own familiar experiences with a sibling?" Nitocris asked, kindly at that as everyone knew by now how much Martha had dotted over her own little brother in their mortal life's

"Indeed. Back when it was just me and him, I did all I could to keep him happy. Even fixing mistakes he made." Martha explained, at fond memories of those younger days of hers "Oh what I wouldn't give to see my baby brother again."

"Still it's a bit disturbing how casually Rameses speaks of this, like it was a normal occurrence." Avicebron stated as he even found that disturbing, animated movie or not that wasn't normal for someone to do or even conceive as normal behavior. Considering how he used to be or if some of his own past memories in certain grail war were to be correct, that was a lot coming him; he knew that much at least

"Well what do you expect. Back then in this movie or in real life around this time. I'll sadly admit, slaves were always seen more as useful pets or tools. I'm not surprised myself." Cleopatra exclaimed, feeling rather unsettled herself mainly because of how she used to be when it came to this subject

"Still, at least it seems he's doing it from a good place in his heart. Despite the rather… unsettling nature around it of course." Sheba added in as most of the others nodded or shrugged in agreement

With that, they turned their attention back to the movie and back to seeing how this rather sudden, if not also tense moment would play out in the end.

"I am Egypt. The Morning and The Evening Star. If I say 'Day is Night', it will be written, and you will be what I say you are. I say you are innocent!" Rameses argued still, moving in front of his brother and making his stop a little as he held his hands against his Moses chest

"What you say does not matter." Moses explained, pushing his brothers arms away. But knew he shouldn't be angry at his older brother, since he couldn't see it from how Moses was seeing it as now "You don't understand. I can't stay here any longer."

"Moses!" Rameses yelled, as Moses past by him and tried to grab him by the shoulders

"No. All I've ever known to be true is a lie!" Moses screamed, pushing away his brother some more. Before he sighed, then a few moments later placed both his hands in his older brothers shoulders; while looking him in the eyes "I'm not who you think I am."

"What are you talking about?" Rameses asked, confused beyond belief at what his obviously distraught brother was even going on about

"Go ask the man I once called 'Father'." Moses simply answered, before straightening himself up and making a run for it again towards the desert beyond

"Moses?!" Rameses yelled out once more, as Moses against his better judgement stopped. Before looking back to see his older brother Rameses, concern and desperate to keep him around. Rameses holding his hand out to Moses "Please…"

"Goodbye, brother." Moses said, rather calmly but with a hidden hint of hurt in his tone as he truly didn't want it to come to this, with that he made his run for it again

"Moses, MOSES!" Rameses yelled out, as he watched his brother become a blurrier image by the second

Further and further Moses went, as the scene showed Moses still running before it went black. Then the movie paused, before the laptop that had been off. Turned back on, with new text for the servants to read.

Greetings once more,

We apologize for the sudden and abrupt stop. But we thought it would be prudent for you to have an intermission. To stretch, maybe get a quick snack, use the restroom or maybe a bit of all three. Either way, we also ask you to kindly talk a bit of what you've seen so far. Be honest too, no judgment here.

Anyways, enjoy the rest of the movie to come after your little intermission period.

P.S: If you haven't indulged in a snack yet. Then if anyone there is allergic to peanuts, we have made sure most of the food is peanut free. BUT, read the ingredients just in case.

P.S.S: You should have about half an hour, sorry forgot to say that. Still no rush.

With that said and done, the laptop turned off again, leaving the servants alone. To do whatever before the rest of the movie continued. But they also decided to comply and speak a bit about what they've seen so far of this movie. It could be a bit fun too, if anything else.

"Well guess since we're being asked. I'll go first. Now for what think so far…" David started off, as he took a moment to collect his thoughts. Before he cleared his throat "I guess if I'm going to honest. I like it, a bit surprised at what it depicted for something that's supposed to be kid's movie. At least if ya ask me. But again, I like it. Even the small bits of singing."

"I agree with you David. It's already been quite the tale being told. That and about one of the more well know stories from the bible. Though I'll say, the little twists in this one are interesting none the less." Martha exclaimed, as she clapped her hands "Oh I wonder if this would be a good one to show the children!"

"Possibly, it is aimed towards kids more after all. Though I'll admit myself, it is rather blunt with the realities of that certain ahem… era. A rather shameful one that is too." Nitocris stated, as she smiled a little herself

"I just like all the lovely animations and songs a lot. Past events aside. Now I really do wonder how much this made in the box office in total. That and how much it cost to make this movie. Must have been quite a bit. Oh how excited I am to figure that out!" Sheba exclaimed, as the real life finical production was what caught her attention the most currently

"Only you… only you Sheba." Cleopatra exclaimed, with an amused tone before she cleared her own throat "Anyways I like movie a lot myself. Like, lots, lots. I just hope it doesn't get too sad. I like the more cheery mood despite the ah… well the subject matter."

"Pretty sure it's gonna get sadder before cheery again, if it's following most of how the tale of Moses went. That and might have a few things differences here and there from what I remember of it." Avicebron exclaimed, bluntly as Cleopatra pouted a little towards him "What I'm simply being honest. Still I like the movie enough, even if it's on a rather unsettling subject. Hope the rest of the movie can hold up."

"Well that all said and done, I'm going to use the restroom. Drank a bit too much water earlier and it's starting to come full circle. Excuse me." Martha chimed in, as she got up before walking over the bathroom

The others simply decided to either wait their turn for the restroom, get a quick snack to eat or talk with one another. But all in all, those who were recording this session. Hoped like always.

If this one was gonna be another hit or a miss?

And there we go, end of this chapter, along with the set reactors here. I hope you enjoyed pat one of this movie reaction.

That said, I really do hope I did well. I tried my best to make sure I did my best to not offend anyone in any way when it comes to how I wrote this chapter, etc. Mainly when it comes to phrasings and such. That and my history/ memories of some of the passages in the bible are rusty to me, like real rusty. So, I hope I got the reactions mostly correct for the servants.

If I did mess up here and there, tell me and I'll do my best to make sure to be a bit more mindful. When it comes to one's culture, more of the two being currently represented in this chapter and the movie being portrayed.

Also, you may have noticed in these few chapters. Some of the reactors say more and some less. I decided to make this a sort of feature in my story. Since not every reactor will be the same, sometimes some may speak more while others less and well you get the idea behind it. Hope you like that little feature included as you read this chapter and those after this one.

Now if you also may have noticed, just to add more to certain reactors. I may have taken liberties of their histories. Then again Fate does that all the time am I right! [Insert laugh track]

No but for real, I did this to make some reactions easier to do and just add more content. But I've also done so when it comes to studies on certain figures and such of history. Like I at least heard once that Cleopatra did have kids, that along with her and Alexander the Great or AKA Iskander being blood related siblings actually. Again, I don't remember where I heard them from. But decided to run with some of these again to add more fun content. So, there's that.

Now lastly and this one is the most important here for me to address. But since this particular movie involves well, religion. Please for the love that all is good, none of you try and start something. You know who you are, you know what I'm talking about. Both sides on this one. Just respect one another when it comes to that subject, or I will start getting rid of reviews of such a nature. I have zero tolerance of that kind of behavior from either side.

Again, you know all who you are and what I'm talking about. Seriously, it's not that hard to do so please be respectful.

P.S: If you're curious, I swore I kept it up for longer. BUT this movie and Monty Python both won pretty close to one another on the last poll. So, I decided for this movie first; then Monty Python after. So, look forward to that.

Well, all said and done. I can't wait till the next chapter, enjoy it till then and have the best days ahead! : )
