Chapter 26

Last time:

"….What about the fiend issue?"

"It's our duty to take care of them regardless." said Naruto. "We would like Police support in addition to use of various safe houses though. This is going to take awhile."

Maya let out a sigh. "Unless Inspector Otaki has reservations I'm sure that will be no problem."

Otaki nodded. "It's no problem at all. Do you want it added into the contract?"

"No, it is a separate issue we will deal with though I have a feeling they are linked." said Naruto. "Just add the Police will support us until the fiend issue is resolved."

"Done. I'll type it up right now." replied Inspector Otaki. Soon, everyone reviewed the contract and Inspector Otaki and Naruto affixed their signatures.

"When do you start Naruto?" asked Maya.

Naruto answered in a dark tone. "We start tonight. Once we find them this is going to be a bloodbath…."

Midnight, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo

The Uzumaki Clan was sitting on top of a skyscraper in Tokyo. It was overcast and the sky was completely black; ideal weather for a ninja on the hunt. Naruto was sitting in sage mode sensing where the ninjas and fiends were and Hinata was doing the same with her byakugan. "There's far more out there than I expected. Most of the crimes committed were in Shinjuku but I didn't anticipate this." said Naruto.

Hinata hummed. "It seems there are four or five ninja stationed around every lesser fiend. They are definitely working together. From their formations it looks like a lone ninja is out as bait or as a sentry and the others are waiting in ambush."

Naruto pondered, "I wonder where the higher or mid level fiends and ninjas are….these are all grunts."

"Well there are still a lot of them out there." said Hinata.

"I guess we'll have to rain on their little parade then." Ayane said in a dark tone.

"How do we want to do this?" asked Kasumi. "It looks like a lot of lower fiends and ninja but nothing major for us to tackle. It will take some time but if we use stealth we'll be able to take them out piecemeal."

Naruto turned to his wives. "Hinata; Kasumi, I want you two to attack from the south. Ayane and I will attack from the north. If we take out the fiends first then the ninjas will be taken off guard. Hinata, have you positively identified the ninjas as members of the Karasu Clan?"

"There's no doubt about it. They all seem to have a crow emblem on their left shoulders." answered Hinata.

"Alright, everyone do one final check of your equipment and radios and we'll move out. As long as the enemies are low level, exterminate them." said Naruto.

Ten minutes later the Uzumaki clan vanished into the night….

With Naruto and Ayane….

Naruto and Ayane sped from roof to roof silently as they looked for their prey. Ayane was enjoying the freedom she felt virtually flying as she leaped with chakra from building to building completely unfettered. She saw her husband come to a halt and hold his hand up in the 'stop' position. Ayane landed behind him in silence and he said quietly, "There's a group directly below us in that alley. There's a low level fiend and four lower ninjas. One is out on the street presumably as bait or a guard to alert the others."

Ayane peered over the edge of the building and put on her night vision goggles. "The fiend looks like a lizard or gecko standing upright. I wonder how dangerous it is."

"I don't sense any major energy coming off of it." said Naruto. "Here's what we'll do…."

Ten minutes later after stealthily making their way halfway down the building; Naruto dove on the unsuspecting gecko like fiend out of nowhere from above and cleaved it completely in half with the Kusanagi as he landed. Ayane landed amidst the gore left by the fiend before the splattering blood even hit the ground and killed two of the Karasu ninjas with shurikens to the throat. The last ninja was wide eyed and froze up from the killing intent coming off Naruto. He started to go for his radio to call for help but the extended blade of the Kusanagi took his head clean off before he could utter a sound. Naruto and Ayane exchanged hand signals to take the last ninja alive and Ayane went outside the alley where she saw the fourth ninja who was 'guarding.' She knocked him out with a simple chop to the neck and dragged his body silently back into the alley. It was all over in less than a minute….

The fourth Karasu ninja woke up minutes later from a slap to the face from Ayane. His brown eyes widened as he saw her frightening red eyes reflected in the low light. He saw Naruto standing behind her in the shade with his eyes shining brightly yellow in sage mode. Ayane said, "We can do this easy or hard. You tell us what we want to know and you'll die painlessly….or we'll carve the information out of you piece by piece and you'll die slowly and in agony. Make your decision now. Either way we'll get what we want."

Twenty minutes later the Karasu ninja was dead, painlessly as promised….

Ayane growled, "He pissed himself in fear Naruto-kun. Pissed himself!" Naruto had to stifle a snort at his violet haired wife's display of temper. Sighing, Ayane said, "The guy knew virtually nothing. All he knew was the Karasu Clan was to cooperate with the fiends and wipe us out specifically. The whole mission of the Karasu Clan is to destroy the Uzumaki clan for some Tokyo Yakuza group called Sutoraipu. I've never even heard of a Yakuza group called The Stripes before.

"Maybe they like skunks Ayane-chan." He saw her smile in spite of herself under her mask which was what Naruto was hoping for. "Actually we need to talk to our Police contacts about this. We'll talk to them tomorrow; right now we have some house cleaning to do."

After radioing Hinata and Kasumi that it was a trap for the Uzumakis; they briefly discussed it and decided to continue with the operation.

With that Naruto and Ayane took off into the night looking for their next target of opportunity.

With Hinata and Kasumi….

The two kunoichis were on a rooftop and saw some sort of bear shaped fiend and three ninjas on a delivery dock behind a building. It didn't take them long to spot the fourth ninja on the small roadway that led back to the dock. He seemed very tense but the three in back seemed pretty laid back about it all. Kasumi had her night vision goggles and wondered how it was that Hinata could still see better than she could even with equipment. Kasumi wasn't jealous of Hinata by any means but she would have liked to be able to see through Hinata's eyes just once….

Hinata said quietly, "See the one on the left with the fancy gear? Judging by his energy signature he's a middle ninja. The other three are lower ninjas."

"What about the fiend?" asked Kasumi.

"It's got less energy than the middle ninja. I'll bet we can kill it quick." said Hinata as she focused on the fiend. "If they are waiting to trap us they sure aren't paying much attention."

"So much the better for us." said Kasumi. "If they don't think we're a real threat then they're in for a nasty shock. Can you weave a genjutsu around those on the dock while I take out the sentry? The last thing we need is a runner."

Hinata nodded. "I'm pretty sure I can ensnare the three ninja but I have no idea if genjutsu will work on a fiend. I'll have to take him out when I land."

"If we capture the middle ninja he could have valuable information." said Kasumi.

"We'll knock him out and kill the rest then. Do you have that truth serum on you?" asked Hinata.

"I've got three doses that Aoi made." answered Kasumi. "Do you want to use one?"

"Yes, if he's a middle ninja he may be resistant to torture and time is of the essence." said Hinata. "I don't enjoy torture anyway."

Kasumi nodded, "I agree, let's do this."

Once Hinata's genjutsu kicked in on the three hidden ninjas, she signaled Kasumi and the former Mugen Tenshin princess hit the unsuspecting Karusu ninja acting as bait with a flying kick that snapped his neck instantly. At the same time Hinata channeled chakra into her kodachi and formed a six foot blade of ice that dispatched the bear like fiend by taking its head clean off in a shower of blood. Kasumi saw the three remaining ninjas standing motionlessly behind the building. They were obviously caught in Hinata's genjutsu from the blank looks on their faces. Kasumi quickly slit the throats of two of them with a kunai as Hinata knocked the last one in the fancier gear out and restrained him with ninja wire.

The ninja in the more expensive equipment woke up tied to a telephone pole with wire and noticed he'd been stripped of all his gear. He saw the bodies of his three companions nearby. Two had their throats cut out with surgical precision and the last had his neck bent at an angle that no one living should have. They were dead and there was no sign of the fiend that was with them anywhere. He saw a stunning kunoichi gathering up his gear along with those of the others. She looked over at him with pearl like eyes and said, "I see you're awake. You were in command of this unit so we have some questions for you."

He suddenly felt his neck gripped and a needle inserted roughly as he was injected. The needle was then yanked out and he turned to see the equally stunning Kasumi standing there putting the cap back on the needle. She said, "Sodium Pentothal in case you are wondering. It's old fashioned but still works and I doubt you have an immunity to it. Tell me your name middle ninja."

"It's Karasu Kato." he answered against his will.

"That's a good start." said Kasumi. "Why are you cooperating with fiends?"

"Our leader Master Ichiro made a deal with the fiend's boss Akiyama to eliminate the Uzumaki Clan." said Kato.

"Why are they after the Uzumaki clan?" asked Kasumi.

Kat answered, "I don't know. Some higher ups paid for it."

Hinata asked. "Do you know who these higher ups might be?" hoping to verify The Stripes.

"I have no idea about who it could be. The Karasu Clan has dozens of clients. Master Ichiro indicated he really didn't want this job." Kato said.

"What about this Akiyama?" asked Kasumi. "Who is he following?"

Kato said, "He praises some 'Lady Elizebet' to high heaven so I assume he serves her somehow. I really don't know who she actually is though."

Kasumi and Hinata questioned Kato for another twenty minutes about how many ninjas were in the Karasu clan and where their bases were. He tried to resist but it was useless with the drug in his system. When it was obvious the questioning was over and Kasumi drew Shrouded Moon he asked, "Are you truly of the Uzumaki Clan?"

Hinata simply said, "Yes." and Kasumi's blade ended Kato's life a second later. "Let's get back to the rooftops and radio Naruto-kun and Ayane-chan; they need to know about this." said Hinata.

Asuka's Penthouse, Tokyo

Asuka had been intending to spend some private time in meditation over the bell charm but her fiend underling Noburu that controlled the The Stripes Yakuza group was squawking in terror to her over the video phone about the terrible losses the fiends and the Karasu Clan were suffering. "Milady, we must do something! We've already lost half our forces in the Shinjuku Ward and they aren't slowing down a bit! We must withdraw Lady Asuka!" he said frantically.

Naturally, Asuka didn't inform Noburu that she was simply testing the Uzumaki Naruto and his clan for Lady Ishtaros and that he was an expendable pawn in this little enterprise. "Noburu, you were given the simple task of eliminating the Uzumaki Clan with your resources and those of Akiyama's. You have said again and again and again that you could take all of Tokyo with the forces you have at your fingertips….now you are saying you can't? It makes me wonder if you need to be replaced Noburu. For all the power you control you seem terrified as a child having nightmares. If you feel you aren't up to the task then I will find someone who is."

Noburu paled on the screen. Prestige and power were everything to him. "N-no! That won't be necessary Lady Asuka! But Akiyama is only lending my forces low level fiends; I need more power!"

Asuka sighed. 'This conversation is wearing thin and I have better things to do.' "Why don't you negotiate with Akiyama then? He is your partner in this operation."

"But I-" stammered Noburu.

"Either take care of the task I have assigned you or I will come down there personally Noburu!" she snapped. "If I have to come down there I will be….displeased and you know what happens to those that cause me displeasure…."

"I will take care of it!" Noburu practically squealed. "Please rest assured that Akiyama and I will have this matter resolved by morning Milady!"

Asuka narrowed her eyes and said, "See that you do. Next time you contact me I want results!" she said as she cut him off. "What a fool…." Asuka muttered to herself. The truth was there were several pieces of dead weight that needed to be trimmed from her organization in Tokyo. Asuka wasn't about to risk anything in her corporate power base but the Yakuza and criminal operations had grown a bit too greedy and needed to be pared back a bit. The only thing she wanted to do that wasn't going like clockwork was to siphon off more of Akiyama's forces to do her dirty work for free.

Akiyama still had plans to rain terror on Tokyo the way that fool Alexei had in New York and cause mass chaos. That simply wouldn't do for Asuka's neat and orderly plans. Why destroy and terrorize humans when you can manipulate them into doing your work for you? Elizabet and her cronies that worshipped the Archfiend Vazdah were idiots that were wasting valuable resources that were eager to be used. Asuka personally couldn't wait to hear about their downfall at the hands of the Dragon Lineage….It was only a matter of time….

3:30AM, Warehouse above the Underground base of the Karasu Clan in Shinjuku

"This is the place." said a blood coated Naruto in sage mode.

"What do you sense inside Naruto-kun?" asked Ayane equally covered in the blood of their enemies.

"There's a powerful fiend inside the warehouse and nothing else." said Naruto. "Below that underground I sense five ninjas. Four of them are middle ninjas and one is a high ninja that I'm guessing is in command. I think the fiend is the major issue here."

"Should we go in or wait for Kasumi and Hinata?" asked Ayane.

Naruto focused for a moment and said. "They are both twenty minutes away and tired. We are fresh and don't want to lose momentum. Let me recharge your chakra seal just in case." He placed his hand over her heart and gently channeled chakra in until the seal was full again.

"I think you just like having your hands on my breasts." said Ayane teasingly.

Naruto smirked under his mask and said, "I have to admit it's a nice bonus Ayane-chan."

They both peered through a dirty skylight and saw boxes piled up in areas to block the windows giving the appearance of a full warehouse. In the center of this was a massive, lobster like thing that was about twenty feet long. Its pincers were easily ten feet long each. The only real plus Naruto and Ayane could see about this monster was its armor was thin and transparent that showed all of the internal organs of the creature so they would have some idea where to target. "Gross!" they both whispered in unison as the fiend moved around slowly.

Naruto channeled wind chakra into his hand and cut the rusted bolts that held the skylight in place. He removed it as quietly as possible with Ayane's help and the creature didn't seem to react (Of course, they didn't know if it even had ears or not). Naruto briefly considered making a rasenshuriken to destroy the beast in one hit but he was afraid it would collapse the base below and cave the whole structure in on their heads which he did not want. The Uzumakis wanted the base intact long enough to at least get into the computers after all. Then they could blow it sky high.

Naruto made a clone to attack from directly above with a rasengan and he and Ayane quietly slipped in through the skylight sticking to the ceiling with chakra and making their way to opposite ends of the warehouse and down the walls to attack on two fronts. Once they were situated the clone dropped through the skylight with a rasengan in hand only to be grabbed out of the air when he was fifteen feet above the lobster fiend. The fiend snapped its pincer shut and the clone burst into smoke which left the confused beast staring at its empty pincer and opening and closing it in bewilderment. Realizing the creature wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer; Naruto started sending in clones with rasengans from different angles only to have them destroyed by the lightning fast pincers whenever they got close.

"Naruto-kun, anything that gets within fifteen feet of that thing gets destroyed." said Ayane over the radio. "I think all its doing is sensing motion and counterattacking us. It's made no aggressive moves whatsoever."

Naruto studied the creature in front of him and saw its two antennas whipping about agitatedly. 'Those are about fifteen feet long….' "Ayane-chan. Can you get a clear shot at the base of its antennas with an exploding tag? I think that's how it's sensing us."

"That makes sense to me, let me try Naruto-kun." she radioed. Naruto watched as four streaks of silver launched from Ayane's position. The creature reacted like lighting a groaned slightly as three of the four kunai exploded relatively harmlessly against its armored pincers. The fourth kunai struck true though and one of the antennas was blown off. The creature shrieked in agony and started thrashing about wildly trying to crush everything near it. When the flailing monster flipped over on its back writhing Naruto sent in a horde of clones from all sides with rasengans. Half of them were destroyed but the remainder did incredible damage before the lobster fiend righted itself and destroyed them. Unfortunately it was near Ayane when it landed back on its feet so she remained motionless so it wouldn't 'see' her behind the box she'd taken shelter behind.

The creature's remaining antenna was actively feeling around for Ayane now and she felt very afraid seeing the antenna slide around her and finally over her skin which made her want to scream. Naruto had carefully crept up from behind the boxes to the rear of the lobster thing, When he was twenty feet from it he charged the Kusanagi with wind chakra before he extended it towards the fiend's abdomen. The lobster whipped around and its pincers came around in time to grab to incoming Kusanagi's blade but it cut through them easily and impaled the creature's thorax. Gore flew everywhere as the exploding wind chakra tore up the innards of the lobster. The internal blast must have hit the core of the monster because it literally exploded sending body parts and shattered armor all over the place. Naruto had to body flicker behind some crates to avoid getting hit with monster's leg and god knows what else. The explosion sent shockwaves through the warehouse.

After a few seconds of silence Ayane's head popped up over the crate she was hiding behind and she saw the lobster's remains everywhere slowly dissolving into mystic ash. Forgetting her radio, she cried out, "Naruto-kun?!"

A pile of boxes moved and Naruto crawled out from under them and sat up. "I'm alright Ayane-chan." Ayane dashed over to Naruto and hugged him tightly. They held each other for a few minutes as the tears silently came out of her eyes.

"I thought I'd lost you Naruto-kun…." she whispered.

Naruto squeezed her gently and said, "I'm here Ayane-chan; I love you…."

Their tender moment was broken up by a floor panel came crashing open and two Karasu Clan ninjas came clambering out to stare dumbfounded at the devastation. "Damn it." whispered Ayane as she teleported over and slew the pair before they could react. Seeing the path down she said, "Let's go Naruto-kun!" Then the pair vanished into the open entrance….

4 AM, Underground base of the Karasu Clan in Shinjuku

It had been four hours since the Uzumakis started hunting and other than stopping to question likely candidates, the slaughter had been nonstop. Once Naruto brought his shadow clones into play matters only got worse for the Karusu Clan. Karasu Hiraku, a high ninja in charge of the Shinjuku Ward of Tokyo, was panicking. "Seventeen of our twenty teams have gone silent! Seventeen! What the hell am I going to tell Master Ichiro? We don't even know who the enemy is but everything points to the Uzumaki Clan!"

"Should we withdraw sir?" asked a middle ninja. "We can retreat to another Ward. Surely Master Ichiro will understand in the face of such staggering losses. These Uzumakis are monstrous!"

"The kunoichi there said, "Don't be ridiculous. We're well hidden and that fucking monster fiend upstairs guarding the entrance will keep us safe."

An explosion rocked the base and knocked Hiraku to the floor. The lobster fiend had just perished. "SHIIIIT!" he screamed as the room rocked. He sent two of his people upstairs and when they went silent he said, "We have to get out of here!" Within seconds a roof panel at the opposite end of the room blew downwards knocking Hiraku down again. When the smoke cleared Naruto and Ayane were standing there. Hiraku recognized Naruto from the photos and whispered "No…." in a small voice. He saw the two middle ninjas that had been in the room with him were already dead. One had a kunai in the back of her head, severing the kunoichi's spine and the other was missing his head entirely courtesy of Ayane's Kodachi that was dripping with the man's life essence.

To Hiraku who was still looking at them from the floor where he was laying; the image of Naruto and Ayane splattered in the blood of his comrades standing amongst the smoke was a vision from hell. Despite all his years of training; Hiraku was frozen in terror as Naruto walked silently towards him and tied him up in ninja wire. It was all a daze as he saw Ayane throw the decapitated body aside and start to hack into the computers. Other copies of Naruto come in through the door and quickly stripped the two corpses of his dead comrades of anything of use. Soon Hiraku saw Hinata and Kasumi walk in also coated in blood.

"This is the leader?" asked Hinata as she looked at the terrified Hiraku. Naruto nodded. Kasumi was already on the other computer terminal. Hiraku knew all was lost at this point. He wanted to take his own life but he was stripped of all means to do so. Hinata's hands started to glow with chakra and she said, "He's the only one left alive. I assume he's Karusu Hiraku. Do you want me to take him?"

"If you don't mind." said Naruto. "Once we've finished draining these computers I'll set up the demolition tags and this place will cease to exist."

Hiraku watched in terror as Hinata gently tapped certain points on his body with her glowing fingers and he was paralyzed. "W-wait" he said as she tapped his throat silencing him.

Her pearl like eyes bored into his terrified brown ones and she said in a dark tone, "Don't worry; you'll have plenty of time to talk later." With that she placed a hand on Hiraku's shoulder and they body flickered out.

Naruto saw Ayane get frustrated and she said, "I've got everything that isn't password protected Kasumi! Let's just yank the hard drives to fiddle with them later. That Hiraku character is bound to know the passwords."

"Agreed." said Kasumi. "Let's take the hard drives and blow this joint."

Thirty minutes later there was a major explosion in the warehouse district and the Uzumakis and their prisoner had completely vanished. The Tokyo Fire Department was busy most of the night with a warehouse fire and soon frantic calls of the bodies of the Karasu Ninjas found all over the Shinjuku Ward had the Tokyo Police scrambling all over the place.

Karasu Main Base, Sumida Ward, Tokyo

"We've completely lost contact with our entire group in Shijuku Ward Master Ichiro." said a Karasu kunoichi grimly. "The news reports show our hidden base in Shinjuku is a pillar of flames and news reports are also coming in about bodies turning up left and right. I don't know if anyone is left alive…." she said as she teared up. "I'm worried for Hiraku…."

Ichiro looked at the various incoming reports with more and more horror. He turned to the kunoichi. "Hiraku's homing beacon is still active; try to have faith in your husband's abilities Sachiko. He is a skilled ninja." Seeing Sachiko nod as she regained control of her emotions Ichiro said, "Issue a general order to pull out of Shinjuku and have the surrounding Wards fall back. Or troops are in total disarray and we don't know how many are left alive….Let us pray that our losses aren't as bad as these reports indicate."

It was going to be a long night for the Karasu Clan….

Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department

"Just what the hell is going on out there?" cried Inspector Seburo Otaki. "We've called in every off duty officer we can reach and it's still not enough." he said as he ran his hand over his balding head. "No wonder I'm going gray!" he said as he followed Maya into her office and closed the door. "Jeezus H. Christ!"

"I had no idea you were a Christian Inspector." quipped Maya as she sipped more coffee.

"I'm not!" said Otaki. "I don't even know if I have a religion after seeing these reports. Do you think this is the Uzumaki Clan's doing?"

Maya sighed and drank some more caffeine to keep her awake. This was not what she wanted to be doing at 4:30 in the morning. "Well, each body found has a Karusu Ninja Clan crest on their clothes and Naruto did say it was going to be a bloodbath. That's evidence enough for me."

"What do you think Commissioner Kobayashi is going to say about all this?" asked Otaki clearly out of energy.

Detective Arii cringed. "I have no idea what the Commissioner is going to say. I figure we'll both be commended or unemployed by the time he crawls out of bed at nine. God forbid we interrupt his beauty sleep."

Several tense hours passed as the Police slowly caught up with the backlog. They were still waiting for a body count when the Commissioner woke up hours later.

Location: Unknown

Karusu Hiraku awoke tied to some sort of pole. He was elevated up where even his feet weren't touching the ground he found that he was stripped to his underwear and judging by the soreness under his left arm the emergency tracking device that all those with the rank of high ninja and above was surgically removed which meant his clan couldn't track him and assumed he was dead. He looked around and saw darkness except for the light shining down above him. It looked like something from an old basement or something….Hiraku wriggled around but found the ropes were tied in such a way that he couldn't escape….tied by an experienced ninja. -!- The Uzumakis! What was he going to do?

"I see you're awake Karasu Hiraku." said a male voice from the darkness.

"We've been waiting around on you some time." said the same voice from the left.

"The others will be pleased to know you're ready to chat with them." said the same voice to the right.

"We should tell the boss." said the same voice behind Hiraku. The Karusu ninja was freaking out a bit.

Sweating, Hiraku asked "How many of you are there?!"

"As many as there needs to be." said all the voices at once. Hiraku heard a swish of air and then silence.

Hiraku called out a few times more but the only sounds in the room seemed to be his own breathing.

Uzumaki Safe house

It was morning and Ayane cracked an eye open. She was lying safely in Naruto's arms. Earlier that morning when they got back Naruto washed up in the shower with her and then the two made passionate love to one another for hours. She'd needed him to prove they were both safe and obviously Naruto felt the same for her. Ayane really didn't want to get up, she was resting very comfortably and the feeling of Naruto's steady heartbeat and deep breathing was lulling her back into the land of dreams. Ayane absentmindedly thought she'd pass on eating lobster from now on before she drifted back to sleep.

….

Hinata woke up a few hours later snuggled up with a clone. She loved how her Naruto-kun could make shadow clones on a whim. Naruto had been very concerned for Ayane last night and quickly made clones to guard the prisoner and to take care of her and Kasumi's needs. Hinata woke up feeling refreshed and happy. She had an urge for a morning quickie but was interrupted by a soft knocking on her door. Activating her byakugan she saw it was one of Naruto's shadow clones since she knew the real one was asleep with Ayane in the next room. "What is it Naruto-kun?" she asked sleepily as she sat up.

"The prisoner is awake Hinata-chan. I woke up Kasumi-chan too but I let boss and Ayane-chan sleep." said the clone.

"Alright, I'll get up Naruto-kun." said Hinata. "Go back and keep an eye on the prisoner okay?"

"Will do Hinata-chan." said the clone as he body-flickered away.

Hinata sighed. "I guess I should get up and take a shower."

She suddenly felt her shadow clone's tongue lick her from her naval to her breasts and savored the erotic feelings that went up and down her spine. "You wouldn't shower without me would you Hinata-chan?" he asked as he traced his fingers down her hips and her firm rear end.

Hinata smiled lustfully and said, "I wouldn't dream of it Naruto-kun." with a giggle.

Kasumi was already in the shower with her clone of Naruto. She had her arms wrapped around his shoulders and her legs wrapped tightly around his waist as she rode him to her next orgasm. All in all, Kasumi was having a very good morning. Of course sex in a steaming shower always seemed to lighten her mood….

Noon, Tokyo Metropolitan Police Headquarters

The Commissioner had just finished his news statement to the media to try to put the frayed nerves of the public at ease. Now he was addressing Maya in his private office.

"There's simply too much bloodshed." said Commissioner Kobayashi. "While the Uzumaki's are doing exactly what we asked them to do it's causing a panic. See if there's a possible alternative Detective Arii. Is there any way to arrest these Karusu Ninjas?"

"I can't see it happening without incurring massive losses and even more bloodshed Commissioner Kobayashi." answered Maya. "I doubt we can negotiate directly with the Karasu Clan but I believe the Uzumaki's may be able to. It depends on whether they are willing or not."

Kobayashi sat thinking for a moment. "If the Uzumakis can remove the threat of the Karasu without more large scale slaughter then offer to double their pay. We can't afford another night like this last one. I'll be the first to admit there wasn't a single civilian casualty but between this and the recent disaster in the Sky City Ward it's more than the public can handle. Make it happens Detective Arii; I'm counting on you."

Maya left the Commissioner's office distressed. 'Sure; no pressure. Just tell Naruto his methods are incredibly effective and therefore can't be used anymore. Sure. Just play nice Naruto. I can hear it now.'

Uzumaki Safe House that Afternoon

Naruto and his wives were all up and having a late lunch. Detective Arii contacted them and asked to meet with them saying there was a change of plans. They weren't sure what to expect.

"A breach of contract is a very serious matter Naruto-kun." said Hinata. You can't just let this slide."

Kasumi nodded. "I'm with Hinata one hundred percent Naruto-kun. If we give them an inch they'll take a mile."

"Let's just see what Maya wants himes." said Naruto. "As nervous as she sounded over the phone I don't think she's too enthused either. Let's just hear her out okay? It doesn't mean we have to agree to anything but we can listen to her."

Ayane kissed Naruto's temple. "Alright Naruto-kun but don't you dare go soft on us just because you're a nice guy."

"Sheesh! Am I that much of a pushover?" asked Naruto.

"Yes!" cried his wives in unison. Naruto just pouted….

Later that afternoon….

Maya arrived alone at the safe house having sent her bodyguards out to help with regular duty officers. She wouldn't have minded having Otaki along but she'd been vested with the authority to handle this her way so Maya was praying this would work out. Ninjas were very finicky about contracts and she didn't want to lose Naruto's trust. When she came to the door she was met by Hinata who was in casual clothing of short shorts and a button up shirt. "I see you made it Detective Arii, come on in." said Hinata in a tone that didn't disguise her unhappiness with the situation at all.

Maya cringed that things were already going south. Soon Maya was sitting in front of Naruto and the three kunoichis all of whom were in casual wear. Maya cleared her throat, "I'm sorry to be bothering you with this but Commissioner Kobayashi made a request of me that I cannot refuse. The mass slaughter you guys did last night was brutally effective and probably has the Karasu Clan pissing themselves in fear….Unfortunately the same goes for the public. The Commissioner agreed with me that you are doing exactly what we hired you to do without flaw but he wants to take a different approach."

"What different approach is that?" asked Ayane dubiously.

"He's asked me to get your help in negotiating a way to remove the Karasu Clan from Tokyo instead of killing them." explained Maya. "I believe you've done enough damage to them that they would be willing to listen to your terms unlike the Tokyo Police."

Ayane sighed. "So you want us to run the Karasu Clan out of Tokyo under the threat of us destroying them? That's not how ninjas work. They'll simply go underground for a few years and rebuild their forces so they can come back in a decade or so with a vengeance. Your Commissioner is simply trying to keep his job Detective and I'm pretty sure you know this."

Any of Maya's well prepared arguments were pretty much shot down by that statement. The Detective was stopped cold before she even started. The fact was she knew this was all to protect the Commissioner's political career and the city of Tokyo could be damned for all he cared….Maya was at a loss….

Hinata then held up her index finger and said, "Perhaps there is an alternative since we have suspicions about the Karasu Clan's alliance with the fiends."

Feeling hope surge back into her veins, Maya grasped onto it. "I'm more than open to suggestions."

Hinata locked eyes with Naruto a moment before she continued. "We need to know every bit of data the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department has on a Yakuza group known as The Stripes."

Detective Arii made the most intelligent answer she could come up with at the time. "….Huh?"

POSTSCRIPT:

Okay, I'm officially having fun with this plot line. The fight scenes were inspired by the song "Dive for you" by the Boom Boom Satellites which was on the Appleseed movie soundtrack. Speaking of music, the original name for the Yakuza gang The Stripes/Sutoraipu was The White Stripes but I figured I would have fans of Jack White's band coming after me with pitchforks and torches so I shortened the name.

Putting all that aside, Asuka's been rudely interrupted from examining her family heirloom and the Karasu Clan's operations in the Shinjuku Ward have completely imploded. Commissioner Kobayashi is worried about his position in the government hierarchy and got cold feet so he dumped it all on our poor Detective Arii. The Uzumakis have linked the Karasu Clan to the fiends and want to know why and how this has occurred. Most importantly, Ayane has lost her taste for lobster (or even looking at one) and on and island nation where seafood is a major staple in their diet this could spell disaster for the menu of the Uzumaki Clan once they get back home….Blue out. 4/19/15
