'….Someone shoot me now please….'

"That why I need to go to Sapporo. By the way; do you need identification to fly?" the woman asked looking puzzled.

"I think you need to talk a lawyer here in Tokyo so they can give you information on exactly what you need to claim your inheritance before you take a trip to Sapporo." advised Yamada with a friendly (and completely fake) smile on his face.

"That's a good idea Officer. Thanks for all your helpful advice. Have a nice day." the woman said as she left with a wave.

"You do the same Ma'am." replied Yamada in a weak voice. 'Inspector Otaki was right! I should have taken the day off and drank myself sick!'

Poor Yamada….he was in customer service hell….Dealing with bloody ninja battles and evil fiends was much easier than this...

9:00 P.M. Detective Arii Maya's Apartment, Tokyo

Maya was in a t-shirt and jeans and was trying to decide what movie to watch on her DVD player as she finished her T.V. dinner. She unexpectedly heard a knock at her door and wondered if it was the crazy old lady down the hall that was always losing her pet cat. When she looked through the peep hole on the door she saw it was Uzumaki Naruto. 'Oh god; Naruto-kun's here and I look like a total slob!' When Naruto knocked again she decided to answer the door. She cracked it open with a smile but then saw the somber look on Naruto's face…."Ummm….Hi Naruto! I wasn't expecting company tonight. What can I do for you?"

Naruto regarded her a moment and then said, "I came over to talk if you have some time Maya. I'm sorry I didn't call ahead but it's important."

Maya wordlessly let Naruto in and showed him to the table in her kitchen. "Can I get you some tea or coffee? I've got soda too and-"

"Water is fine Maya." said Naruto.

Maya felt nervous. "Okay….Did you and the others get everything moved to your new safe house okay? I never heard back after I dropped off the keys."

"We got moved fine Maya." said Naruto as he accepted some bottled water from her. "I talked to my wives and I wanted to talk about your request you made this morning."

"What did you decide?" asked Maya with a sinking feeling from his dour tone.

Naruto sighed. "I'm afraid that you becoming my wife would never work. We come from two completely different walks of life and you would end up terribly unhappy if you were with me."

"But…." started Maya.

"I'm truly sorry Maya but we ninjas are assassins." explained Naruto. "We're born into darkness and are trained to fight and kill virtually from when we're born. Every member of my family wakes up in the morning with the certainty that they may be dead by tomorrow. It can be a blink of an eye between the cradle and the grave. We have wars between villages no one knows about. It's not the kind of life for people that have grown up in modern society and I wouldn't wish that life on you. I think you have a romanticized view of ninjas but the fact is we have to be cold, hard killers. There is no black and white in our world and how dark the shade of gray is depends on what job we are doing that particular day."

Maya was silent and stunned at Naruto's description of ninja life.

Naruto said, "Maya, you are a good, smart woman and very pretty. There's no reason any man wouldn't be thrilled to have you in his life but for your own sake ninja society is not for you. I'm really sorry Maya. We Uzumakis really enjoy being friends with you and working with you professionally is beneficial for both parties. I'd hate to lose that friendship but you can't become a member of our clan."

Maya lowered her head and said in a sad tone. "I guess it was a pipe dream on my part but I had to try. I'm sorry I put you in that position Naruto."

"Maya….I'm no genius when it comes to relationships but I didn't want to give you false hope. I should go. For what it's worth I really do hope we can continue to be friends –or at least friends professionally. Good night Detective Arii." With that he vanished in a body flicker and Maya was left to her own thoughts….

Naruto appeared on the roof of Maya's apartment building and saw Hinata there waiting for him. "Is it taken care of?" asked Hinata.

The Uzumaki Clan head nodded, "Yes, I talked to her and she seemed to accept it. I just hope she doesn't hate me. I really felt bad saying all those things even if they are all true."

Hinata sighed. "It's best that you nipped it in the bud Naruto-kun. It would have been a lot harder for her if you waited until all of us got together like we originally planned. You would have been stringing her along and it would have hurt her much more." Hinata looked skywards at the moon peeking through the clouds. "Let's go back to the new safe house Naruto-kun. You've had a long day."

With that he two Uzumaki ninjas vanished in a body flicker….

Down below in her apartment Maya sadly put her dishes away and then allowed herself a good cry. She had realized she was being unrealistic but the little girl that loved ninjas in her just wouldn't let it go….'It will take time but I'll get through this. At least Naruto-kun was up front with me. A lot of guys would have played with a woman if they had the chance….'

Maya didn't know what time it was that sleep finally claimed her but was glad she had the next day off.

Akiyama's hideout….

"Lady Asuka was brutal with me Sato. I had to swear allegiance to her just to survive." he said to his trusted long time lieutenant. "She's far more powerful than Lady Elizebet. Who would have thought she had power that even exceeded her beauty? Lady Asuka is truly a dangerous woman."

Sato sighed. His superior always did prefer aesthetics over common sense. One look at a photo of Lady Asuka and Akiyama had been head over heels for her. Now Akiyama looked like he was on the losing end of a train wreck. "Lord Akiyama, it will be a couple of days before you've had time to regenerate from the beating and myriad wounds she gave you. I have our agents snooping around looking for any clues of Uzumaki's whereabouts. As for swearing your allegiance to Lady Asuka; it's probably just as well. The news came in that Lady Elizebet died at the hands of the Dragon Ninja in South America anyway."

Akiyama gasped. "It can't be! Did she reach our High Priest Dagra Dai with the Demon Statue? If she didn't Lord Vazdah cannot be revived…."

Sato said, "We just don't know my Lord. Perhaps Lady Asuka has that information. Unfortunately we cannot count on her for that data until we complete our task of capturing Uzumaki Naruto and bringing him before her. I think we should concentrate on that Lord Akiyama. There's little else we can do at this point."

Sighing, Akiyama said, "You are right of course Sato. You always have had a level head. Once this task with Uzumaki is completed I'm sure Lady Asuka will grant us the favor of telling us what is going on. We're a bit isolated for now. Tell me what information you've gathered on this Uzumaki Naruto character so we can capture him."

"We have little but there is another option…." said Sato. Seeing he had Akiyama's attention Sato said, "We could ask a favor from Mister Donovan from DOATEC. Victor helped us create that lobster/fiend hybrid after all…."

Akiyama made a 'tsk' sound. "I don't trust Victor Donovan or his methods but he is useful. He is interested in gathering DNA from those ninjas anyway. Perhaps we could broker a deal with him in exchange for a sample of Uzumaki's blood in exchange for using Donovan's intelligence network here in Tokyo. It doesn't hold a candle to Lady Asuka's network but it is better than us going out there blindly searching for Uzumaki. Can you make it happen Sato?"

Sato nodded. "Yes sir, it may take a while to make the arrangements though."

"Excellent; get to it then my friend!" said Akiyama eagerly.

….

Sato was on a secured line. To anyone else he looked like a very plain, stocky Japanese man but if you looked closely then you would see a cold, calculating intelligence gleaming in his dark eyes. He was just the kind of person Donovan could appreciate….

Donovan was smiling sinisterly on the video screen as he looked at his fiend partner Sato. "So Sato; it sounds like to me your idiot Lord Akiyama has outlived his usefulness."

The short fiend nodded silently. "I'm afraid Akiyama has switched masters once again and is undermining the power base I've been building up secretly for years. He's proposed that we use your intelligence network here to hunt down Uzumaki Naruto for him and in exchange he'll retrieve Uzumaki's DNA after he captures the ninja."

"And what are the odds of that working?" asked Donovan with a raised eyebrow.

"You mean the chances of us finding the ninja or Akiyama succeeding?" asked Sato.

"Either. Indulge me a bit with some odds Sato." said Donovan deviously.

"It will be simple for us to draw Uzumaki out by dropping some hints to the police given your political connections." said Sato with a shrug. "As for Akiyama….there is simply no way he can win. Lady Asuka has seen the writing on the wall just like I have. She gave Akiyama the task of capturing Uzumaki to amuse herself. He's going to die like a dog. By my estimation Akiyama and every fiend left under his command couldn't take the Uzumaki Clan. They specialize in killing our kind. Attacking Uzumaki Naruto with kid gloves to capture him? Hah! Playing Russian roulette would be so much safer. Akiyama is doomed and I'm only helping to speed up the process."

Victor laughed, "Then tell me how you really feel about Akiyama, Sato!" After Donovan stopped chuckling he got serious. "Then what do you propose to do Sato? You wouldn't have called me if you didn't want something. You could dispose of Akiyama yourself with your cunning so you must have another angle."

Sato nodded and said grimly, "Lady Asuka is simply too powerful to overthrow even from the inside and Akiyama and what little is left of his forces are worthless. I want out. Give me a job at DOATEC over fiend development and in exchange I'll get you a few drops of Uzumaki Naruto's blood that you covet so much. Do we have a deal Donovan?"

Victor nodded immediately. This was too good an opportunity to pass up. "What do you need me to do Sato? I can get you passage to anywhere for that DNA. The job is yours for the taking."

"All I need you to do is manipulate some information going to the Tokyo Police Department." said Sato. "Make sure they know fiends have been spotted at the abandoned base below the Tobū Railway Station in the Sumida Ward the last couple of nights and that the Uzumaki Clan is needed. My informants show the Karasu Clan Ninjas have abandoned it. I'm going to convince Akiyama that he needs to go there after the Uzumakis have arrived telling Akiyama he should set up an ambush."

"But if the ninjas are already there…." said Donovan.

Sato smiled coldly, "….Then it is Akiyama who will be ambushed."

Donovan smirked. "And how, pray tell, will you get the blood sample for me Sato?"

"Leave that to me Donovan. I have it well in hand." said Sato. "Once the deed is done and I have the blood in hand I'll contact you."

Victor and Sato stared silently at each other in a battle of wills for a few seconds over the screen. Finally, Victor laughed. "Alright, I'll trust you with this Sato. I'll give you a call once the pieces are in place."

A few minutes later Sato ended the call and he chuckled to himself. 'Good thing I picked up samples of Uzumaki Naruto's blood from the damaged areas of the Sugita building from when he fought Fujimoto. I already have what Donovan wants so all I have to do is sit back and enjoy the show. Being rid of that vain, pompous fool Akiyama and not having to clean up after his messes will be a godsend.'

Sato soon informed Lord Akiyama that things were in motion. "The plans are in place Lord Akiyama. Soon we can set up an ambush for the Uzumaki Clan in the Sumida Ward. All we are waiting on is a call from Donovan so you can make your move in three days. The outcome is virtually guaranteed after that."

"Excellent Sato my friend!" crowed Akiyama. "Having you manipulate Donovan into doing my bidding was a superb idea of mine if I say so myself. You've done well for your Lord, Sato."

"You are far too kind to one such as I Lord Akiyama." said Sato with a bow.

Akiyama laughed. "I promise you that once I've moved up higher in Lady Asuka's graces and affections you will be right there with me my friend."

Sato nodded. "No doubt your relationship with Lady Asuka will be truly secured once this is over. You should rest and regenerate my Lord. I will start making preparations for you."

"Very good Sato. Make sure the plan comes to fruition." said Akiyama.

"I have no doubts the plan will succeed my Lord." replied Sato. 'My plan will anyway.' With that Sato respectfully excused himself. Decades of fanning Akiyama's ego were so engrained in Sato that he gave no hints at all at the plan's true results. Sato knew he wasn't an exceptionally powerful fiend but he was very intelligent so the best he could hope for would be to move through the ranks and become a Major Domo to a powerful Lord. In his mind Lady Asuka would have been ideal to work for but sadly she had no need for an executive officer of any sort. She was just that good. Sato decided that his best option for now was to think outside the box and work with the human Donovan. Who knows? It could turn out interesting….

Uzumaki Safe House, Tokyo

Naruto received a call from Detective Arii that fiends were spotted around the area of the former Karasu base in Sumida two days later. She sounded very down. "Are you alright Maya?" asked Naruto in a concerned tone.

Maya sighed over the phone. "I'll be okay Naruto. I just need a little time. Can you look into this? It came straight from the top which is really strange and makes me suspicious."

"I'll let you know what I find out Detective." said the Uzumaki Clan head. "It might be a trap so we'll be ready."

Sumida Ward, hours later….

Naruto, Hinata, Kasumi and Ayane searched the base thoroughly and found the Karasu Clan had indeed abandoned the place. There were no signs of fiend activity. Suddenly they all reacted at once when a woman appeared at the entrance of the base. "Are you the Uzumaki Clan?" she asked with a foreign accent.

Hinata said to the others, "She's human." Turning to the woman she asked, "Who are you and what is you want?"

The woman said, "I'm an ally and I have a message for the Uzumaki Clan which I assume you are. My name isn't important. Akiyama is planning to set up an ambush for you here day after tomorrow. We want to be rid of him so do what you want with that information." The woman quickly turned around and walked out.

"Well that was interesting." said Ayane once they were sure the woman was gone. "What should we do with this information?"

"It's probably a trap." said Kasumi.

"That's more than likely." agreed Naruto. "What do you think Hinata-chan? I could station a mass of clones here to ambush them so if it is a trap we'll all still be safe."

"That sounds like a good plan Naruto-kun." answered Hinata. "We need to be careful because this is way too convenient. We should call Detective Arii and see if there is more to it."

Naruto stationed two shadow clones that concealed themselves inside the base and the Uzumaki Clan quickly withdrew.

Uzumaki Safe House, Tokyo

That evening, Detective Arii and Officer Yamada quietly arrived at the safe house the Uzumaki Clan was using. Maya had a couple of officers on station to observe the Tobū Railway Station from a distance. "All I've found out is it came from the Police Commissioner's Office from a reliable source. I was informed that it was classified by Police Commissioner Kobayashi" said Maya. "Damn Politician."

Maya continued. "I don't like it one bit. This mysterious 'friend' that popped up out of nowhere with a message for you when you were investigating doesn't help matters either. Someone is manipulating the Police Department in order to get to your clan Naruto."

"We surmised as much." said Hinata. "Naruto-kun's clones will be in there in case it's true but we won't be in the base personally. There may be a bomb set in there to wipe us all out or something. We'll have to play it by ear. If it is true then we can kill Akiyama and his troops and quickly withdraw. It sounds like the fiends have some internal dissension to me."

"You think the fiends are setting up one of their own?" asked Maya.

Kasumi explained, Akiyama was a loyal follower of the greater fiend Elizebet and the local greater fiend is Asuka. From what we know Elizebet is dead so there's a fair possibility that Asuka wants to eliminate a potential wildcard or loose cannon. They obviously have different goals and methods so Akiyama's presence might be seen as a hindrance to her."

"That's quite an idea." said the detective as she chewed on her pen. "That would also indicate that Police Commissioner Kobayashi and his friends on the Tokyo City Council are at least in indirect contact with this fiend Asuka. Hmmm…."

"Well, on our end of things it should be simple enough to set up an ambush for a bunch of fiends." said Ayane with a gleam in her eye.

Yamada said, "It's a shame we don't have a map of that base. It could be a big help."

Kasumi handed him a folded paper. "We made one earlier today for later use. It might make a good safe house for the Uzumaki Clan later on."

Yamada unfolded the map and whistled before he handed it to detective Arii. Maya eyed the map and smiled. "You all sure know how to plan things out."

"We do our best." said Ayane. Though they all saw Maya was still down emotionally the Uzumakis were glad they hadn't lost their friend….

Hayabusa Village

Hayabusa Ryu returned from a climactic battle on top of Mount Fuji having finally slain the Archfiend Vazdah in a duel. The exhausted Dragon Ninja bid farewell to CIA Agent Sonia and was home now. As he entered the village gates he was welcomed home by most of the villagers joyously as he made his way to the Castle of the Dragon to see his Father Jô. Truthfully he wanted nothing more than to lie down in the arms of his beautiful fiancé Kureha. She soon welcomed him home with an eager kiss and took him to see Jô who had fully recovered from the battle with Genshin by now.

Ryu had a long, tough fight and simply glad to be home. After talking with Jô and Kureha for some time he asked, "So Naruto and three of his wives had to deal with a fiend problem connected to Vazdah in Tokyo?"

"Yes." said Kureha. "Momiji-chan says that it turned to a game of cat and mouse but Naruto-kun says it should be squared within a couple of days. In other words Hayabusa Ryu; Naruto doesn't need your help and you will be staying home with me. Got it?"

The Hayabusa heir cringed. "Yes ma'am…." he said totally defeated. He'd rather face Vazdah or Genshin again than make Kureha angry with him.

"Wonderful!" beamed Kureha. She turned to Jô. "Father in law, Ryu is badly in need of a bath and rest so I'll be taking care of him." Jô nodded with a soft smile and dismissed the pair.

Kureha took care of her lover well into the night and they slept cozily in each other's arms until the following morning….

Akiyama's hideout….

The next day a tall, voluptuous white haired woman arrived from DOATEC to 'assist' Akiyama in his endeavors against the Uzumaki Clan. She reported to Akiyama and said with a British accent, "My name is Christie and Victor Donovan sent me to help you Lord Akiyama. I have news that everything is ready. I was told by Mister Donovan to coordinate with Mister Sato."

"Ah, excellent Miss Christie." said Akiyama with great flourish. "I will summon Sato to help you out. Please wait in the hall."

Sato soon arrived and Akiyama asked irritably, "Why did Donovan send that girl here Sato? Were you aware of this?"

"No sir, I was not aware." lied Sato. "It seems I'm going to be stuck babysitting her instead of participating in the battle tomorrow night. I'll have to keep her entertained so Donovan won't be able to interfere. We can't very well afford to kill her you know."

Akiyama sighed dramatically, "Of course, you are right Sato. Keep her out of our business while I deal with Uzumaki personally."

"As you wish my Lord." replied Sato with a bow.

….

Sato was soon sitting down with Christie in private. "That fool Akiyama is suspicious of your presence so we're going to act as if I'm keeping you out of the loop assassin."

Christie arched an eyebrow. "You're awfully well informed Mister Sato. I was sent to make sure everything goes smoothly; that is all."

"You were sent to make sure I hold up my end of the deal and kill me if I fail." said Sato in a flat tone.

Christie chuckled darkly. "Well then, since you seem to know Donovan's methods then I won't have to keep up any pretence with you. I warn you though; I'm more than capable of taking you out should you betray Donovan. I'll need to make sure that you acquire that blood sample or assist you if needed."

Sato smiled coldly. "I already have the blood sample and I'll be handing it over to Donovan personally. I had it before I made the deal with Donovan. This whole travesty of Akiyama's little suicide run is nothing but a bit of entertainment for me. After we watch the show I expect you to safely transport me out of the country tomorrow night."

Christie would never admit it but she was rather impressed. Sato was telling the truth or was the best liar she'd ever met. "You're and interesting little person fiend." said the 23 year old woman. Given she was five foot ten compared to his five foot two Christie towered over Sato.

"Height isn't everything." grumbled Sato….

Hayabusa Village

Momiji was sitting and talking with Aoi. "We've made a lot of progress in your spiritual training Aoi-chan." said the shrine maiden. I'd asked Kureha nee-chan for advice on what to do next but right now she's very occupied with Ryu-sama."

"I don't blame her." quipped Aoi. "When Naruto-kun comes home I intend to lock him in my bedroom for several days and have my wicked ways with him."

Both girls giggled. "I know what you mean Aoi-chan." said Momiji. "Not having Naruto-kun around this last week has been really lonely. Besides, now that we are working towards a way of each of us unlocking our chakra we're going to be so much more powerful. I can't wait to see our future children lobbing around massive jutsus like Naruto-kun can."

Aoi smiled. "I hope they have Naruto-kun's whisker marks. They are so adorable! Speaking of babies; once Naruto-kun and the girls get back we need to go visit Ayame-sama in the Mugen Tenshin Village. She's been waiting for us after all."

"Between poisonings, fiends, wars and battles in both Japan and China we Uzumakis have been a bit preoccupied." said Momiji as she adjusted her ponytail a bit. "I'm sure Ayame-sama will understand."

"I'm just really excited!" declared Aoi. "Babies are so cute and I never really got to play with them back when I was with the Black Spider Clan. It wasn't considered 'dignified' for one of my standing. What a load of crap."

Momiji laughed at the stars in her sister-wife's eyes at the thought of babies. "I'm sure we'll have lots of babies to play with someday. Rebuilding the Uzumaki Clan is one of our goals after all. I can't wait to summon Snow Leopards too."

"Me neither!" said Aoi enthusiastically. "Especially the cubs; I just love to cuddle them!" she giggled.

The two girl's banter continued as they discussed having extra shadow clones around to change diapers. They were laughing outside but inside they were worried for Naruto and the other girls. In spite of all the friction that they had been through initially both Momiji and Aoi had come to love and care about all of their family members very much….

Sumida Ward, Tokyo

The next evening Akiyama and all his remaining fiend forces entered the abandoned Karasu base under the Tobū Railway Station to set up and ambush for the Uzumaki Clan for when they arrived to investigate later. They were quietly being observed by several groups as they entered. Christie and Sato were watching the situation from Akiyama's Base via camera and the Uzumaki Clan was carefully observing things from outside the station. Detective Arii had several units on hand in case fiends escaped and Otaki's units were on standby in case fighting spilled out into the streets and they need to evacuate people.

Akiyama strutted in like a peacock in his usual way and said, "I guess we'll have to set up here and set a trap people." He had sixty mid and low level fiends with him. Once they were all inside and accounted for Akiyama said, "What a boorish job. Uzumaki will probably knuckle under in fear once he sees all of us. Still I suppose we should hide so we can surprise him…."

Every fiend in the room suddenly felt themselves being crushed by a massive blanket of killing intent. Akiyama looked around and saw Naruto's shadow clones everywhere surrounding them and even above them in the rafters….There were hundreds of them! "Oh dear…." said the fiend. Seconds later the clones charged and the bloodletting and the sounds of fiends dying in the one sided slaughter began. It lasted nearly twenty minutes….

After the meat grinder stopped rolling a battered praying mantis fiend was all that was left….and the clones were regrouping for another round.

Outside Tobū Railway Station

Deciding the battle with the mass of Naruto's clones was a losing proposition and Akiyama decided to do what he did best –run away. He stumbled out into the street. The fiend was already badly mangled and bruised and would surely die if he was caught. 'I have no troops left to shield me; I have to escape!' he thought frantically. Reverting to his human form and running far faster than a human possibly could he darted he darted towards the biggest grouping of people he could find close by: The adult entertainment district of the Sumida Ward. Unfortunately for him the original Naruto and his three wives were all waiting for him outside and now were pursuing him hotly. 'There are more of them?!' Akiyama thought in terror as he saw Hinata diving upon him and he barely managed to dodge a juken strike that blew a large chunk out of a stone statue he'd been standing by.

The distracted Akiyama had no time to breathe as Kasumi scissor kicked him backwards across the street and Ayane then roundhouse kicked him towards an alley. Akiyama was seeing double as Naruto appeared in front of him ready to strike. The fiend heard loud, raunchy metal music behind him and dove back into the ally. He ran down some stairs and through an entrance to an underground drinking establishment faster than the civilians there could follow.

'Love Zone' was emblemized above the entrance to the place Akiyama ducked into when Naruto and the girls arrived in front of it. They stared a moment at the sign and then the two confused bouncers. The smell of booze and cheap perfume wafted through the air and one of the bouncers said, "Are you four entertainers? They go in through the side entrance." Seeing the skin tight black ninja attire the bouncer really couldn't think of anything else the Uzumakis could be. He figured the kunoichis had to be strippers, dancers or porn stars with bodies like those.

Hinata said nicely as she went through hand signs, "Yes, this evening's entertainment has arrived." She quickly cast a genjutsu and the four ninjas walked past the dazed bouncers and into the bar….

With Detective Arii….

Arii Maya was tense as she and Yamada listened to the incoming reports over the police radio in her car. "They've just entered the Love Zone. Should we try to follow?" they heard an officer ask over the radio.

"The Love Zone?" asked Maya confused as she looked at Yamada.

Yamada said, "It's a brothel/bar/dance club with all kinds of entertainment detective; haven't you heard of it on the radio?"

Detective Arii sweat dropped. "Why would a whorehouse have radio ads?"

"Come on Detective Arii; their jingle is really popular." said Yamada. "I'll bet you know it. It goes like this: ~Any time you want to; Any way you need; Get your love for money there satisfaction guaranteed!~" he sang.

As Arii Maya gave a withering stare to him Yamada realized just what he'd just been singing to his superior officer…."Please don't judge me!" he groveled.

"This conversation never took place." said Maya with a tone of finality in her voice.

Yamada saluted and said "Yes, Ma'am!"

In the 'Love Zone'

The four Uzumaki Clan Ninjas immediately attracted attention of the Love Zone's customers on the dance floor who were yelling things like "Take it off!" and "How much are your rates?!" With her byakugan active, Hinata blocked out the wolf whistles and cat calls and zeroed in on Akiyama who was hiding behind the bar. She pointed him out and the group of four quietly made their way over to the bar amidst the clamoring of the crowd, the flashing lights and the blaring music….

Akiyama had handed the barkeep a small fortune in cash; grabbed a bottle of sake and hid behind the bar a few minutes ago. The barkeep shrugged and let him stay there figuring the guy was hiding from his wife or girlfriend or something. He then turned around and saw four ninjas (?) walking over towards him with their hands on their weapons. "I don't suppose you've seen a coward in a striped suit have you?" asked Kasumi in a sensual tone as she pointed towards the place Akiyama was huddled out of sight.

The poor barkeep was blushing profusely and was weak in the knees at Kasumi's charms. He smiled goofily and said, "Nope, I have seen anyone that fits that description." as he nodded towards Akiyama's position and rapidly moved away. Akiyama let out a silent sigh of relief….

Smiling behind her mask, Kasumi drew Shrouded Moon and sliced straight into Akiyama's right shoulder when she cut through the bar. The fiend let out a blood curdling scream and all hell broke loose as blood sprayed all over from behind the bar. Akiyama assumed his praying mantis like fiend form and tried to strike but his bladed arms were blocked by Hinata and Ayane before he could react. He then tried to use his powerful legs to jump clear but Naruto still caught the fiend's left shoulder with a wind rasengan that completely obliterated that section of Akiyama's fiend body.

By this time Hinata had activated her twin lion fists and sent Akiyama crashing through the wall behind him with a brutal hit that shattered his remaining chest armor for good. Akiyama was lying on his back when Ayane landed on top of him and beheaded the praying Mantis fiend in one brutal strike. It was over in seconds. Akiyama's body exploded into mystic ash and Naruto and Hinata grabbed both Kasumi and Ayane and body flickered out….

Outside the 'Love Zone'

Naked people, drunks, strippers and many other interesting facets of society came running out of the Love Zone screaming for their lives and poured out into the streets. Otaki and the Tokyo Police Officers would be sorting out this mess for hours….

Maya and Yamada watched with sweat drops forming as the side show in the Sumida Red Light District paraded by as Otaki's men lined them up to take statements. Just after Maya finished choking on her coffee at the ugliest drag queen she'd ever seen in her life her phone rang. Seeing it was the number the Uzumaki Clan used she picked it up. "Detective Arii here." she said between coughs.

"Are you alright Maya?" asked Kasumi from the other end of the line.

*Cough* "Just fine." *Cough.* answered Maya. "What's your situation?" *Cough*

"All targets are eliminated; we are pulling out." said Kasumi.

"Understood." said Maya as she finished the call. The Detective turned blearily to Yamada. "The Uzumaki's are pulling out and so are we." *Cough* "Get me away from this freak show."

"You don't have to tell me twice." said Yamada in agreement as he quickly got the sedan in gear and they went back to headquarters. Both the detective and the officer had seen things they never wanted to see that night….

POSTSCRIPT:

*Love Zone was an old Judas Priest song and the 'radio jingle' were lines lifted from that song. (No, I don't own it either).

Well, this chapter took a while but flowed fairly well. I originally intended to have some sort of epic battle when Naruto's clones sprang the ambush on Akiyama and his fiend army but then I figured it would be nothing but mass extermination via hundreds of rasengans which would be a rather dull subject to read or write for all that matter. As for Akiyama's death; he was already a wreck from Asuka ripping him to shreds last chapter. Combining his weakened state with an ambush from the Uzumaki Clan pretty much sealed his fate just as Sato planned.

Next chapter we'll see both Christie and Sato's reactions to what they saw and have more dealings with DOATEC. What will Victor Donovan do with Naruto's DNA sample? See you next chapter. Blue out. 8/16/15
