Chapter 32

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
Well, after receiving numerous flames over chapter 30 and then receiving the least amount of reviews for chapter 31 that I've had in over nine months (which I wrote to appease said flamers) I've decided to change things a bit back to the original plot I planned to write all along. All I can say is actually this is my story so if you hate it kindly stop reading rather than leaving ugly anonymous reviews. I have no problem with constructive criticism but people who don't understand the difference between an honest critique and being rude and vulgar will be blocked and/or deleted. I don't really like the idea of initiating this policy but after being called every name in the book over a story I'm writing I've decided it is a form of flak I can do without. That having been said, here is chapter 32:
Last time:
Outside the 'Love Zone'
Naked people, drunks, strippers and many other interesting facets of society came running out of the Love Zone screaming for their lives and poured out into the streets. Otaki and the Tokyo Police Officers would be sorting out this mess for hours….
Maya and Yamada watched with sweat drops forming as the side show in the Sumida Red Light District paraded by as Otaki's men lined them up to take statements. Just after Maya finished choking on her coffee at the ugliest drag queen she'd ever seen in her life her phone rang. Seeing it was the number the Uzumaki Clan used she picked it up. "Detective Arii here." she said between coughs.
"Are you alright Maya?" asked Kasumi from the other end of the line.
*Cough* "Just fine." *Cough.* answered Maya. "What's your situation?" *Cough*
"All targets are eliminated; we are pulling out." said Kasumi.
"Understood." said Maya as she finished the call. The Detective turned blearily to Yamada. "The Uzumaki's are pulling out and so are we." *Cough* "Get me away from this freak show."
"You don't have to tell me twice." said Yamada in agreement as he quickly got the sedan in gear and they went back to headquarters. Both the detective and the officer had seen things they never wanted to see that night….
Location Unknown
Arii Maya was dreaming. She knew she was dreaming and couldn't wake up. She remembered the strange events before her current dream state….
Flashback….
Maya was sitting at her computer desk at home. The current fiend situation had been sorted out for the most part now that Akiyama and his followers were dead. She'd finished her report and was currently very depressed over her situation with Uzumaki Naruto. She wanted to simply get over him but the young police detective was still hung up on the blonde ninja….Maya was really spacing off thinking about him and failed to notice she was in danger until it was too late. Strange pinkish chains coiled around her rapidly and she found herself completely immobilized and suspended in the air.
Maya was struggling to free herself when she was brought around to face a beautiful woman wearing and elegant white business suit and sunglasses. The chains coiled around Maya were coming out of the left sleeve of the woman's suit. "W-who are you?" gasped out Maya as she struggled to breathe.
The stunning woman took off her sunglasses revealing blazing red eyes that made Maya gasp. The white clad woman simply said, "I'm a fiend Arii Maya. The visions I've had led me to you. Of all the descendants of the Kadokawa line I've concluded you are the strongest and have the best chance of living through this. The woman held up a syringe of red liquid. "This will kill you if it remains unchecked. I'm going to inject you with it and pray you survive. Maya's eyes widened and the woman held up a strange, bell like charm. "This will save you. It belongs to our family. Uzumaki Naruto will know what to do with it. Once you are unconscious I will call him on your phone so he can help you."
"Why are you doing this to me?" asked Maya.
"I want to continue the line of Lady Shion and you are my best chance. Arii Maya, you must carry on our family line in my place." She draped the charm necklace around Maya's neck and then jabbed the needle into Maya's neck. The last thing Maya remembered before she blacked out from the pain was the strange fiend using Maya's phone to call Naruto….
Flashback end….
Dream….
Maya was dreaming about two beautiful dark haired priestesses with strange lavender eyes that reminded her of Hinata's in a way since there were no apparent pupils. They were obviously identical twins and one of them was pregnant. The pregnant one said, "I am turning over the bell of Lady Shion to you Tomiko. You will become the head of the family in my place."
Tomiko said, "No Tomiyo! You are the first born. It is not the place of the younger twin to become head of this house. Since time immemorial the first born has always inherited the title."
"I have shamed our parents with my pregnancy by Lord Kadokawa." said Tomiyo. "They want me to give up my child or be banished from the clan. They want me to marry a man of their choosing which I do not love. I will give the title to you and raise my firstborn with Lord Kadokawa. I will be in self exile and found a new line of Kadokawa Priestesses up in the northern regions. This is my will Tomiko. You must carry on in my place."
The older sister hung the bell charm around the younger's neck and the two hugged each other and cried for awhile. Within a week Tomiyo left for the north with Lord Kadokawa and never saw her family again….
'I am somehow descended of that Tomiyo woman since I have Kadokawa blood in me….' thought Maya in her dream. She'd seen dreams of a blonde priestess named Shion that somehow fought a massive demon alongside a younger Uzumaki Naruto. 'How can this be? This looks like it took place in ancient times….and Naruto was there. I need to wake up…."
Dreams of several generations of priestesses filtered through Maya's mind over what seemed like endless days and nights until she saw the fiend woman that captured her. She was a human woman with the same lavender eyes as Shion. Her name was Asuka and she'd been murdered! 'Asuka was killed but….' Then she saw the gruesome spectacle of Asuka's rebirth as a fiend due to the Greater Fiend Ishtaros and the atrocities Asuka committed afterwards in the name of revenge. The horrors were engraved on Maya's mind and she remembered what Asuka said to her "Arii Maya, you must carry on our family line in my place."
Dream end….
Maya woke up feeling as if she was under water and just broke the surface for air. She didn't recognize the room she was in but was on a soft bed. She saw Naruto's wife Momiji standing there in a shrine maiden's outfit talking to another shrine maiden. Momiji looked exhausted. "It is done Kureha nee-chan. Finally Maya is purified from the fiend's blood that was put in her."
The now named Kureha said, "It was a hard job even with us alternating every other day. Only with the Eye of the Dragon and that bell charm combined was this possible. I wonder when Maya-san will wake up. With the changes her body has gone though I don't know what she'll do."
Momiji said. "Naruto-kun says he'll make this right. He said that Maya must somehow related to that Priestess Shion he told us about from his era for her to be able to use that bell charm. He apparently owed Shion something but I don't know what it is."
"Well, I guess time will tell Momiji-chan." replied Kureha.
The two sisters started heading for the door when Maya croaked out, "Momiji-san…."
The two Dragon Priestesses quickly turned around and rushed over to Maya's side. "I can't believe you woke up so soon!" said Momiji. "Don't move around too much; I'm sure your body is very weak from being bedridden so long."
Maya looked at Momiji and said blearily, "I feel like I've been asleep for decades. How long was I out? Where am I?"
Kureha smiled. "It seems your mind is intact, good. I'm Momiji's older sister Kureha. You have been out for six weeks and you are safe here in the Uzumaki Compound in the Hayabusa Village."
"Are you Naruto-kun's wife too?" asked Maya as she looked at the beautiful sisters.
Kureha chuckled. "No, I'm happily engaged to someone else. I'm Naruto-kun's sister in law."
About that time Hinata came in along with Aoi. Hinata said, "Maya, you've awakened; how are you feeling?" Maya cringed a bit when Hinata activate her byakugan (It still creeped Maya out). "I see all the fiend's poison is out of your system. You gave us all a real scare there. Are you hungry?"
"I'd like something to drink." croaked Maya. "My throat feels really dry."
Aoi said, "I'll get you some water Maya-san." She quickly left the room.
"Is Naruto-kun here?" asked Maya.
Hinata shook her head 'no.' "Naruto-kun, Kasumi-chan and Ayane-chan are visiting the girl's Kaa-san in another village. They should be home tomorrow. They will all be happy to see you are awake."
Mugen Tenshin Village
Kasumi and Ayane were both orbiting around their Mother Ayame asking questions about children and so on. They were both very excited that the baby was due in only four months and couldn't wait to be big sisters. Ayame found her two daughter's glee to be very amusing. She was telling them stories about raising Hayate and all the things he did as a baby. "Hayate really had a security blanket that he always carried around when he was little?" asked a giggling Ayane.
Ayame smiled "Yes, your big brother was quite attached to it. Hayate-kun was so furious when Shiden-kun informed him he was too big for one when he turned four. The scowl on Hayate's cute little face was hilarious. He claimed when he became clan head he would make sure all ninjas would have security blankets to protect them. The look of shock on Shiden's-kun's face was priceless. I nearly fell out of my chair laughing."
Kasumi giggled. "I guess nii-san never made good on that threat since the whole village isn't full of security blankets. Maybe I should ask him about it."
"What ever happened to the blanket Mom?" asked Ayane.
"You know, I'm really not sure." said Ayame looking thoughtful. "Shiden-kun kept trying to hide it from Hayate-kun and Hayate-kun kept stealing it back. I think they played cat and mouse with it for months before it finally vanished without a trace."
Ayane said, "We should ask nii-san. I'll bet it's hidden somewhere in the village."
"Well, you could always ask Yomiko." said Ayame. "I think she knows all of the secret places Hayate-kun has hidden away things in case of an emergency."
All three of them broke into laughter at the idea of finding Hayate's prized possession….
Village training grounds….
Naruto and Hayate were both panting rather heavily. They'd been sparring with each other rather fiercely over the last two hours and needed a break. "You've gotten much stronger Naruto." complimented Hayate as he drank some water from a canteen.
"I have my precious ones to protect Hayate." said Naruto. "When you have someone precious to protect is when you become truly strong. I learned that on my first real mission from a friend."
Hayate pondered a bit and then nodded. "It seems your friend was very wise. That's a good philosophy to have."
"It changed my whole point of view as a ninja." said Naruto. "I thought we grew strong just by working hard until then. It never occurred to me how much the spirit affects the body before that."
"Kasumi-chan and Ayane-chan seem very happy Naruto." said Hayate. "I'm glad you are taking such good care of them."
"I love all my wives Hayate." answered Naruto. "Sometimes it's very difficult to balance all of them but I do my best. They all take such good care of me and I want them to be safe and happy more than anything else."
Hayate changed subjects. "Kasumi-chan says you taught her and all of your wives how to use chakra."
Naruto got a mischievous look. "So my little vixen Kasumi-chan spilled the beans did she? I'll have to give her the ancient Uzumaki tickle torture as punishment."
The Mugen Tenshin Clan head looked a bit appalled but then realized Naruto meant it as a joke. "If you could teach them then-"
The blonde cut him off. "Chakra is an Uzumaki Clan Technique. You are my brother in law and a good friend but I'm not letting such a secret go. Besides, it was a fluke that it actually worked. The fact that all four girls were able to unlock their chakra like Hinata-chan and I still astounds me. I would have said it was impossible even a month ago but I underestimated them. It seems the kunoichis I married are just as stubborn and determined as I am. I'm very proud of them. That being said though, I expect that this chakra business remains a trusted secret with you Hayate."
Hayate nodded and said. "I give you my word on it brother in law."
DOATEC Tritower Headquarters
Victor Donovan stared at the lab results from Uzumaki Naruto's DNA for the umpteenth time. Interlaced within the very fiber of Naruto's being was an unknown energy. It couldn't be identified. It refused to be identified. Victor knew as a scientist that all living things were essentially biochemical machines but the energy in Naruto's DNA defied everything he knew as a scientist. Donovan couldn't duplicate it. He had studied the strange mystical energy of fiends and was able to extract it, duplicate it and manipulate it. But this….it was maddening! Victor wanted more samples to conduct tests on but Sato assured him this was all he could get. Victor knew the fiend was very serious when he said that.
Donovan's Project Lambda to make clones of the ninja known as the Hierro Gladius was proceeding smoothly and met with some success. The dead ninja was capable of harnessing the power of electricity through his body and channeling it but that was nothing compared to what Uzumaki could do. If Donovan could successfully clone an army of Uzumakis he'd have warriors whose combat potential was far in excess of any in existence! ….But every experiment with Uzumaki's DNA met with failure. Victor Donovan was not a happy man….
If Uzumaki's DNA was injected into microscopic creatures it killed them as if they'd been exposed to some sort of radiation; on the other hand if it was injected into a larger animal the strange energy seem to dissipate and vanish without a trace. Donovan had long had his eyes on the Mugen Tenshin Clan. He'd found that Hayate and Kasumi had unbelievable potential. Kasumi had married into Uzumaki's clan in some way. Donovan didn't know the politics involved but apparently Uzumaki had several wives to form blood alliances as archaic as it sounded. He wondered if Naruto would sire a child by Kasumi soon. If Victor could abduct such a child the possibilities might be endless! Of course, there was the slight issue that Naruto could probably take out a well equipped army all by himself. It was a vexing problem indeed….
The man plotting to usurp DOATEC from Fame Douglas for himself had a lot to think about….
Elsewhere….
Christie was sitting back in a reclining chair thinking about what she'd seen six weeks ago when she observed Uzumaki Naruto in combat. As she observed the ninja she'd gotten a thrill up her spine. The white haired woman wondered what Naruto's face looked like under the mask. He reminded her of a big hunting cat. As an assassin naturally she had to size him up as a potential enemy combatant but at the same time as a woman she felt attracted to him. Seeing the lean muscle ripple under his tight black uniform gave her an urge to explore his whole body with her hands.
It really wasn't like her to have such lustful reactions. Christie had been with her fair share of men to take care of her physical needs but there was something more about Uzumaki Naruto. Animal magnetism? She figured it was only natural for a lioness to be attracted to a lion. Donovan was interested in Uzumaki also for god knows what reason….Christie soon decided she really needed to fight Naruto. He looked magnificent to her on a view screen but being up close and engaged in heated combat was the only way she truly knew she could get to know him. The white haired assassin smiled coldly and thought to herself, 'I want to fight you Uzumaki Naruto. I want to fight you soon. You may be just what I'm looking for….'
Hayabusa Ninja Village, Uzumaki Compound….
Arii Maya was sitting up in bed with a big pillow to support her. After taking some awful tasting medicine from Aoi she'd been brought a large meal and it took all of her willpower not to inhale all the delicious food before her. Hinata and the others advised her to eat slowly. She hadn't had solid food in her stomach for weeks so eating too quickly might make her sick. As it was, Maya felt her energy starting to return to her. The medicine Aoi gave her was to help promote the muscles to heal after being inactive for a long time. As it turned out Aoi was quite knowledgeable when it came to herbal medicines and she had explained that ninjas who were heavily injured and needed to return to active duty often took this medicine once they were well enough to get around.
Maya also had overheard something about 'changes to her body' when she first woke up and it was starting to bother the detective. She hurt all over but that was to be expected from being bedridden for so long. Seeing Hinata walk in Maya asked, "Hinata; I heard Momiji and her sister say something about my body changing. Do you know what they were talking about?"
Hinata sighed slightly. "Maya, your physical appearance has changed slightly as has your eye color. Somehow the interaction between the fiend's blood, the bell charm of Shion and the Eye of the Dragon altered your body a bit. I know it sounds shocking but you have been completely transformed on a spiritual level and it is reflected ever so slightly in your physical appearance. It also regenerated you so all of your scar tissue is gone. Before you appeared to have a healed bone fracture in your right arm and ribs and now they are completely healed as if they were never damaged.
Maya stared for a few seconds and said, "Please tell me you're joking." in as calm of a voice as she could muster. Seeing Hinata's serious look Maya felt her ribs where she'd broken them as a ten year old. Her eyes widened as she untied her yukata so she could physically see the old scar. It was gone. She ran her hand over her ribs where there was a tiny knot from the injury and it was gone too. Maya turned to Hinata and said in a panicked tone, "You said my eye color has changed? Are they a different shade of brown or something?"
Hinata replied, "Naruto-kun says your eyes look just like the Priestess Shion he knew some time ago. They are completely lavender now."
"Even the pupils?!" asked Maya in fear. At Hinata's nod Maya started to hyperventilate.
Hinata grabbed Maya's hands and said in a commanding tone, "Calm down Maya." The detective slowed her breathing down though she was trembling and had tears in her eyes. Hinata said, "They're actually quite beautiful. They shouldn't affect your vision in any way."
"C-can I see them?" asked Maya.
Hinata nodded and said, "I'll get a hand mirror Maya. Just stay calm alright? –And remember, you aren't some kind of freak. My eyes are unique as well."
Staring into Hinata's pearl like eyes Maya realized she wasn't alone. "A-alright Hinata." Hinata soon brought back a mirror and Maya stared at her new reflection. "My….my eyes!" she thought aloud. Detective Arii Maya exploded into tears. She felt Hinata pull her close to comfort her and wept until she fell asleep. Maya had worn herself out….
A while later Hinata came out of the bedroom Maya was sleeping in. Hinata had gently disentangled the woman from herself and tucked her in to sleep. Aoi and Momiji were both waiting there having heard Maya's breakdown from down the hall. Momiji asked, "How bad is she Hinata-chan?"
Hinata closed her eyes and sighed. "Maya was terribly upset but she didn't act suicidal or anything. Still, we need to keep an eye on her. I don't want her to hurt herself."
"I'm still not that fond of her but I wouldn't wish this kind of pain on her." said Aoi looking sad. "She sounded totally heartbroken from out here."
"Aoi-chan, Maya-san isn't our enemy." said Momiji as she put her hand on Aoi's shoulder. "You just got a bad impression of her early on. Besides, she currently has no place to go."
"I guess you're right Momiji-chan." said Aoi. The redhead turned to Hinata. "What are we going to do with her Hinata-chan?"
Hinata answered, "I don't know yet Aoi-chan but Maya now has a fully developed chakra system full of pink holy chakra. It's very different from ours and only Naruto-kun has any experience with it. She's going to need training by a priestess so she can control it given it purifies. I'm hoping Momiji-chan and Kureha are up to the task. We're kind of flying blind at this point. At any rate, Maya's mental and physical health has to come first. She's very vulnerable right now."
Mugen Tenshin Village, Main Family Compound
The main family was having dinner together. Kasumi was being civil with her Father Shiden though there was still a bit of a gap between them. Hayate was more or less waiting hand and foot on Ayame. Ayame said to her son, "Hayate-kun; sit and eat! I'm pregnant, not dying. Your Father has me cooped up in the house under lock and key to protect me and you are acting more like a servant than a Clan Head! I. Am. Fine."
"Sorry Mother." said Hayate sheepishly. "I just don't want you to strain yourself."
Ayame got a flat look. "Serving myself some dinner is not straining myself. Moving furniture or fighting enemy ninjas maybe but not this."
Kasumi and Ayane were barely keeping their laughter at Hayate's expense under control. Naruto (for once) wisely kept his mouth shut. That's when Ayame turned to him with a gleam in her eye. "So Naruto-kun, when are you going to be giving my daughters children of their own so I can come over and spoil my grandbabies? I keep trying to encourage Hayate-kun to find a wife but he seems to be committed to being a hermit or a monk."
Both Naruto and Hayate choked on their drinks and blushed while the women laughed at their obvious embarrassment. It seemed that Ayame-sama was on a roll….
Naruto then said pleasantly, "Well Ayame-sama, if you and Shiden-sama don't mind all the noise I'm sure I could have them both pregnant by morning. I'm positive I'd be up to the task."
Kasumi and Ayane blushed madly at Naruto's off the cuff comeback. Shiden looked like he was ready to faint and Hayate was white as a sheet. Ayame burst into laughter and said, "You're such a good son in law!" in between her giggles.
Tokyo, Asuka's Penthouse
Asuka sat there in deep meditation. Though her connection with the bell charm she sensed that her very distant cousin Arii Maya had indeed survived the ordeal. 'It seems I've succeeded in my task. Lady Shion's line will be revived through that girl. For now I will have to continue in my role of serving Lady Ishtaros but when the time is right I will help Uzumaki Naruto destroy her. She corrupted me beyond any hope of redemption. I am a fiend and there is no way to go back now. However, that doesn't mean that I can't take Lady Ishtaros to hell with me.'
Asuka thought on her conversation she had with Ishtaros earlier today….
Flashback….
"Akiyama is dead Lady Ishtaros." said Asuka emotionlessly. "Sadly his use was limited at best and the whole operation was a bit of a lost investment. The losses were manageable and easily rectified but quite a bit of capital will have to be recouped over time. On the positive side the whole business of reviving the Archfiend Vazdah has been brought to an end."
"Have we gained any information on Sage Uzumaki Naruto from this Asuka?" asked Ishtaros curiously.
Asuka shook her head. "Other than he is quite capable against both fiends and humans alike there is little else to say my lady. I had intended to put Akiyama to further use to suit our purposes but an outside source set him up from the upper echelons of Tokyo politics. I am looking into this issue as an outside influence in my domain is most unwelcome. I will find out who they are and either co-opt them or destroy them depending on whichever is the more logical course of action."
Ishtaros looked puzzled. "Do you think it is a rival fiend group's activity Asuka?"
"Just to speculate?" asked Asuka. "I personally believe it was a corporate move. The strike seemed rather surgical and was aimed at Akiyama personally. Someone was holding a grudge against him; I believe Akiyama's habit of constantly changing sides finally caught up with him. Whoever it was used big money to ensure he was eliminated. Whether it was the actions of humans or fiends I do not know but I intend to find out to prevent further interference from that source."
"Very well Asuka, do what you can. From your previous reports the only playing piece we lost worth mentioning was Fujimoto and you indicated he was a lost cause anyway..."
Flashback end….
Asuka decided to call it an evening at that point. She laid down to sleep and dreamed of better times when she was a young priestess spending time with her own beloved husband….
Hayabusa Ninja Village, Uzumaki Compound….
Maya awoke to the smell of something delicious and saw a young woman coming into her room with a tray of food. The girl was cute and adorable like a china doll as far as Maya was concerned. The young lady said, "Are you awake Arii-san? I'm Hien Madoka, one of the retainers for the Uzumaki clan. Hinata-sama asked me to bring you some dinner. Are you hungry? We are having chicken teriyaki tonight if you want some."
Maya was staring at the mouth watering food set before her. "I'm very hungry, thank you for bringing this to me Hien-san."
Madoka set down the tray and poured some green tea as well as some of Aoi's herbal medicine. "Drink this first Arii-san, your health is most important to the Uzumaki Clan."
The detective cringed a bit but then took her medicine. She quickly washed the flavor down with tea and then started eating rather ravenously.
"Slow down Arii-san, the food isn't going anywhere. If you want more I'll get it for you from the kitchen." said Madoka kindly.
Maya blushed slightly and said, "I'm terribly sorry; I forgot my manners. It's just this food is so good! Is this from a restaurant or something?"
Madoka chuckled good naturedly. "No, it is Hinata-sama's cooking. I'm sure she'll be pleased that you like it. Everything she cooks is always a treat for us. Most of us girls do our best to assist her in cooking so we can learn from her."
"Hinata can cook this good?" asked Maya between bites. "Why is she a kunoichi instead of a chef?!"
"You are an interesting person." said Madoka with a smile. "My cousin actually asked Hinata-sama that too. Hinata-sama said cooking is her hobby but being a kunoichi is her profession. All of us girls admire her cooking skills."
Maya took a sip of tea and asked, "You say you're a retainer to the Uzumakis Hien-san?"
Madoka nodded. "Please just call me Madoka. And yes, all of us in the Hien Clan owe Naruto-sama and Hinata-sama our very lives. After our home village was burned to the ground they not only helped with medical treatment, food and clothes but they also brought us here to live with them here in the Uzumaki Compound. We of the Hien Clan are proud to be the retainers of the Uzumakis."
"Wow, I had no idea." said Maya. "I guess there is a lot more to the Uzumaki Clan than I imagined." Having finished her meal, Maya felt rather energized. More importantly she needed to use the bathroom though. "Ummm….Madoka-san, could you please point me towards the restroom?"
"Certainly, do you want me to help you?" asked Madoka. "I'm a healer after all."
Maya said a bit flustered, "I think I can manage." After Madoka helped her stand up, Maya urged her aching body into the restroom to take care of her business. About ten minutes later she called out to Madoka, "Is there any way you could help me back?" Madoka soon helped Maya get back to her bed. Maya was rather embarrassed but Madoka didn't seem to mind.
Mugen Tenshin Village, Main Family Compound
Naruto, Kasumi and Ayane were all cuddled in the oversized bed that was in Kasumi's old bedroom. They had no intention of having sex for the simple reason that they all felt a bit awkward in the main family compound. There was also the fact that Naruto would never try anything with two of his wives in the same bedroom….but Shiden-sama and Ayame-sama didn't know that. Kasumi giggled. "So should we make a lot of noise and absolutely scandalize the whole house?"
Ayane was snickering. "You do realize we'd probably be banned from the village Kasumi-chan. Shiden-sama might have an aneurysm and Hayate nii-san would be too embarrassed to talk with us for weeks."
Naruto was smiling at his devious vixens. "They are predictable. My question is how Ayame-sama would react."
Kasumi looked thoughtful. "Well, she would either think it was a funny practical joke or she'd be disappointed that we weren't actually trying to get pregnant. Sometimes I'm not sure where she draws the line on teasing us or whether she really does want us to have grandbabies for her."
Ayane blanched a bit. "Given none of us are even eighteen yet I'd rather put children off a few years even if Mom really does want us to have them."
Kasumi clicked off the light and both girls cuddled on either side with their husband. Naruto felt incredibly comfy snuggled between two of his wives. 'I'm in heaven; their warm, soft bodies feel so amazing. I'd better go to sleep before I start totally perving on Ayane-chan and Kasumi-chan both being with me in one bed. I can practically hear Ero-sennin cheering me on from the other side….' Realizing that both girls had dozed off while he was musing Naruto wondered how his other wives were doing and if Maya had awakened yet….'I guess I'll find out when we get home tomorrow.' He finally dozed off in the warmth of the two beautiful sisters he had married….

Ahhhh! That is a good stopping point. Yes; the plan going all the way back to the Yoru Clan Arc was for the Kadokawa Clan (and thus Maya) to be Shion's descendants. Last chapter wasn't planned but I think it worked out well as a bit of a plot twist. I want to thank several people who PM'd me and told me to take control of my story back.
Victor Donovan has hit a brick wall with his plans and is at a bit of a loss as to what he should do. Asuka has set her own plans into motion against Lady Ishtaros and Arii Maya is recovering from changes that were caused by Asuka's plan. What all will that entail?
The Ninja Gaiden 2 Arc is completed and I'm debating on how to handle Ninja Gaiden 3. Given it basically revolves around Ryu globetrotting, getting a curse and fighting a world terrorist organization I'm not quite sure where the Uzumakis will fit into the scheme of things. They may be involved or might have a totally unrelated adventure dealing with DOATEC or something. See you next chapter. Blue out. 8/19/15.
