Chapter 7 Relationship (Start)

After the formation and big induction of the team or what they call themselves, the Justice League Knightmare came up with the name and was agreeable with the rest of the heroes. Of course, they agree that they are not fully a team yet and still need to work things out, which Batman agreed and informed the others to give him a week or two, he should have a few things taken care of for them & call a meeting to work on their team skills. Everyone agreed to that and kept doing their patrols while keeping ear com on standby when the Dark Knight calls them.

Of course, a few people have their full attention on the newly formed team, mostly a few members and at Knightmare fully now.

The first was a certain group within the shadows that saw Knightmare as a perfect replacement to the Dark Knight and started to watch over him by sending over one of their way to spy on him within the shadows and watch his health. This was assassin was tasked by the Demon's Head and his daughter to watch over this Knight of Bat closely and captured new interest to rise up.

The second was a certain alien queen ruler as she was hoping to mate with the Man of Steel, given that both of their physiologists were compatible but he rejected that. Her interests have changed as she saw the events of heroes coming together and taking on Darkseid. She saw how a mortal man, Knightmare, is capable of toppling gods with no fear and showed great leadership, developing a strong interest in him and will keep an eye on him.

Now in New York City, we see Jack going out on his lunch date with Diaan and was worried but a bit happy and looking forward to hanging out with the Amazon Princess. He picked New York for their date and away from Gotham but did would go back there for patrols and future hangs out there with Diaan after their first date goes out. And he did promise to see if he can Selina again, enjoying her company much like Diana's. That would make him more uneasy and would have to figure that out after this date, first thing first.

Jack wore some civilian clothes, being a blue shirt, black jacket, dark blue jeans, white shoes, and carried his bag nearby. Nothing too big for the first date and all. He was a little nervous but didn't let it overwhelm him and relaxed with a deep breath, in & out.

Jack was soon cut off his thoughts when he saw Diana walking towards him and in civilian clothes which in his mind does so little to hide her beauty. She wore a blue jacket which was short and showed her wearing a white top that hugged her breast a bit, white jeans that are held up by a belt, and had a golden necklace with a purple jew in it. She had her hair, not in a ponytail but loose, and captured her beauty well, along with her blue eyes.

Jack shook his head, shaking those thoughts out of his mind and focusing, not going to let this hangout (date) start off bad. He respects women and won't want them on their bad side, like one being an Amazon.

"Ah, Diana. I have to say you look stunning," Jack commented with a smile on his face as he know that when going into a relationship, the gentlemen must and always comment on their lady's fashion style even if it's simple or casual. He was raised well by his grandparents mind you.

"Thank you, Jack. I can tell you won't planning on anything fancy restaurant for our date," Diana stated as the pair walked together with the mix-haired leading them to a good area for their date which would take place within a park.

"I was but maybe for the second date. I want to get to you know better and enjoy this hangout between friends before taking that nice date between us," Jack explained which the black-haired warrior princess saw as very reasonable and kind too as most men would rather take the chance to get to her rather know her on a deeper level.

"I see. What do you have in mind for our date?" Diana asked.

"Well...I already got it covered," Jack smirked, showing a good area within the park for the pair to enjoy a good lunch together as it was already set up and impressed the Amazon well.

"Impressive," Diana said as she took a set on the blanket and Jack soon joined her.

"Yes and I got other places in mind after our lunch," Jack said, having plans in mind for Diana to have a great time and to get to know her.

"I look forward to it," Diana smiled.

Jack shared that smiled and the pair soon joined lunch together which was he was happy his cooking skills were very good when seeing Diana eating the food he cooked for them & enjoying it. The pair enjoyed each other's presence at lunch and listen to one another about good life stories, some past like good friends hanging out.

After lunch, Jack and Diana went to different places such as museums which the Amazonian Princess enjoyed that much and liked how knowledgeable the mix-haired young man was. The pair enjoyed the topics and subjects on Greek and different parts of history with the warrior was amazing how much the world of men can go by over the years.

On the next part of the date which was the last one, unfortunately, Jack took Diana to a carnival in which Diana struggled and tried her best to act normal as she could, to not attract too much attention. However, the mix-haired young man made the princess feel and act normal, and natural and told her that he wanted to have a date & get to know the real Diana as much as he could which he has & enjoyed very much. This impressed her that he really wanted to know her for who she was, very rare among men and something to keep an eye on.

Before and so close, Jack and Diana almost shared their first kiss but got stopped when a bank robbery was going down, causing the pair to sigh in annoyance and saw that crime doesn't rest, just for one day but hey, it's DC and anything can happen. Some might feel sorry for those bank robbers but a great number got a beat down by Knightmare and Wonder Woman which we now see the pair leaving the crime scene.

"Well, I can say that this is the first and only date that ended up within costume," Knightmare commented as glided alongside the flying Amazon.

"Same, and this would be the first real date I can be happy with," Wonder Woman admitted with a smirk and enjoyed herself with Jack very much.

"Me too. Up for finishing this date at my apartment, I do believe I owe you some dessert," Knightmare said as he knows how to cook one great dessert and would surprise Diana deeply.

"I believe you do and I would take you on that offer. Is your apartment far?" The black-haired beauty asked.

"Nah, just a good flight into Gotham and we will be there before you know it, Princess," The Second Bat commented.

Unknown to the pair, they were being watched by a good number of eyes, not the media or some reporters. Something totally different, for their own interests and how the Second Bat of Gotham got their attention.

And certain Cat was going to get her answers when the Bat returns home & something totally different would happen between the Bat, Cat, and Princess very soon.
