Chapter 37

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
This chapter we'll be seeing some of the new abilities of the Uzumaki clan that they learned with the help of Orochimaru. We'll also be seeing masses of collateral damage. Here is chapter 37. Enjoy!
Last time:
Kimiko was totally embarrassed as she hung on to Naruto for dear life. Finally regaining some composure the JSDF Agent whispered, "How in the hell are you defying the laws of physics?! You were standing on the water and now you are walking up a sheer cliff face like it's a flat surface. This is impossible!"
Naruto whispered back, "We're ninjas." as if that answered everything. Then he added, "Trade secret." which made her sweat drop. Soon they were at the top of the cliff and standing horizontal again. Naruto then let Kimiko down.
Standing on shaky legs Kimiko sat down and willed herself to calm down as well. Hinata said, "Are you all right Subaru? You are still perspiring heavily and your heart rate is elevated."
"How can you tell in this fog Hinata?" asked Kimiko.
Hinata said, "I told you I can see differently than you. That's how I can see through this fog. Come on; we need to get moving." Hinata pulled Kimiko up by the hand and led her over to the others which were lying on their stomachs on a ridge looking down towards the center of the island.
Aoi said quietly, "The fog isn't nearly as bad on the other side of the ridge. It's mainly forest and I'm hearing all kinds of animal noises I don't recognize. None of the scents smell familiar either. We should be careful of the local wildlife. I know the smells of rodents, rabbits and weasels that are supposed to here and it smells nothing like them here. It smells more like lizards…."
Em Nenhum Island, Forest
Naruto listened carefully to the strange noises coming from the foggy forests below and like the others couldn't make heads or tails of it. The group carefully descended from the ridge into the forest and followed Hinata's lead silently until the byakugan princess stopped suddenly when she crested a hill.
Hinata looked with her byakugan and whispered, "They look like some of the dinosaurs from Ayane's books….this is very strange."
Ayane's heart nearly leaped out of her chest.* "Did you say dinosaurs?!" she whispered loudly with stars in her eyes.
"Oh no….Ayane-chan is revved now." muttered Kasumi.
Ignoring her sister Ayane said to Hinata, "What kind are they? What do they look like?"
"They look like raptors out of the Jurassic Park movie." said Aoi pointing downwards at one with her night vision goggles on.
Ayane focused her lenses on a four foot tall predator that was about eleven feet long prowling around below and gasped, "It a Deinonychus!** Soooo cooool! Naruto-kun look!"
"I am looking." said Naruto. "Long teeth; claws, talons on its feet. The critter is obviously a hunting machine. If we use stealth we might be able to avoid them."
Momiji whispered, "We have no idea how good their sight, hearing and sense of smell are. It might not be so simple."
"No problem Momiji-chan!" said Kimiko as she pulled out her 9mm. "We'll just shoot 'em!" All of the ninjas eyes grew wide as Kimiko fired off four rounds into the hapless dinosaur below….and the entire forest was awakened by the sounds of her gunfire. The wounded Deinonychus made a strange noise between a bird call and a howl before Kimiko shot it again and it collapsed with blood flowing liberally as it died. All the ninjas scented blood and knew that every predator in the area did too.
"Subaru you stupid, stupid bitch!" hissed Maya. "Look what you've done!"
"I eliminated a threat." said Kimiko haughtily. "Let's proceed."
Kasumi said in a low growl, "Hinata said dinosaurs; not dinosaur. That means others are going to be attracted by the noise and the scent of blood."
Aoi had her ear to the ground. "The whole damn forest is moving!" she whispered. "Hinata, can you see?"
Hinata said calmly, "There is at least a dozen more coming from the east. We need to move west –now."
The group moved quickly and silently as they could through the vegetation away from the sight of the dying creature with Kimiko wondering how they were all moving so silently. (She certainly wasn't). There were soon sounds from behind them of growling and fighting but Hinata said, "The predators are fighting over the corpse to feed on; keep moving!"
Ayane hissed from behind Kimiko, "Remind me to slowly, brutally murder you later for killing that innocent baby and blowing our cover Subaru."
"Ummm….Let's head to those trees!" said Kimiko as she took off to get clear of the raging Ayane….and right towards trouble.
"Damn it! This is all going to hell because of that bimbo!" growled Aoi.
The ninjas all heard Kimiko screaming, "Fuck, oh fuck, OH FUCK!" as she opened up with her 9mm pistols into the night. There was an enormous roar and thundering footsteps of a massive beast as Kimiko came running back towards them shrieking wildly in fear.
Momiji stared behind the sprinting Kimiko and asked pointing, "Is that a T. Rex?" in an awestruck voice.
"No, it's an Allosaurus." corrected Ayane. "It's a very powerful theropod dinosaur that isn't as large as a T. Rex." Ayane was in total geek mode at this point. Then the violet hared kunoichi said, "I want one." in a possessed tone.
"There's another one behind it Naruto-kun." said Hinata. The clouds parted and showed the outlines of the two massive predators thundering towards them with their green eyes reflecting in the moonlight.
Naruto said, "Momiji-chan, Aoi-chan and Maya-chan pull Subaru out of there and get her clear. Hinata-chan, Kasumi-chan and Ayane-chan help me drive them off. GO!"
The seven ninjas moved like lightning. Naruto had already called on Kurama's chakra cloak and charged into the leading Allosaurus before it could eat the still terror struck Kimiko. The Allosaurus and Naruto collided and the dinosaur was staggered by the impact to its head causing it to stumble back and change its attention to Naruto. Seeing Naruto jump back and give her a clear shot, Kasumi yelled, "Storm Release: Laser Circus!"*** and shocked the creature badly enough to make it howl in pain as the bolts of electricity travelled all over its body.
Aoi, Momiji and Maya grabbed the terrified Kimiko and retreated quickly to the west. "Stop shrieking you crazy bitch!" yelled Maya as she hauled the much daintier Kimiko over her shoulder as they ran. They rounded some trees only to find several more Deinonychus attracted by all the noise. Momiji had her naginata out in a flash and cut one of the lizards down when it charged her. Maya had her hands full with Kimiko and followed Aoi's instructions to run up into the trees with chakra. Aoi got into position with her bow and rapidly started cutting down the smaller dinosaurs with shots to the neck that allowed Momiji to get some breathing room.
"Thank the gods I practiced bow hunting with birds since I was little." muttered Aoi as she shot at the agile dinosaurs.
….Meanwhile Hinata and Ayane were facing the second Allosaurus. Hinata said, "Eight Trigrams: Mountain Crusher!" and hit the beast in the face with a super compressed wall of chakra that made the Allosaur reel as if it had received a brutal punch to the jaw. The enraged dinosaur spat out a couple of teeth and roared angrily at Hinata. Ayane dashed by the dinosaur and sliced its leg muscles with her kodachis. The Allosaur was slowed down a bit but the cuts weren't deep enough to disable it as Hinata and Ayane had hoped. It swung its tail at Ayane causing the violet haired konoichi to dive for cover. It then charged Hinata only to collide with a kaiten that stopped it cold. The Allosaurus shook its head to get rid of the dizziness before it resumed the offensive….
Naruto watched as Kasumi got backhanded aside by the first Allosaur. She'd done a lot of damage to the creature's legs with her wakizashi Shrouded Moon. Kasumi managed to avoid taking major damage but was hurting from the dinosaur's backhanded strike. Naruto changed to four tails mode seeing one of his wives was hurt and started gathering energy. Somewhere in the Allosaur's mind it sensed Naruto was a serious threat and ignored the staggered Kasumi. The dinosaur charged Naruto with its gaping maw open only to be met by a raging Naruto with a fully charged bijudama. The whole island shook when Naruto let the tailed beast ball loose into the Allosaur's open mouth. The beast never stood a chance against such destructive force and was blown into a million pieces. The bijudama left a trail nearly a mile long before it expended its energy and exploded….
The shaking from the bijudama blast nearly threw Maya who was still latched on to Kimiko out of the trees. Kimiko was finally shocked out of her panic and said, "W-w-what was that?" Down below on the ground a tired Aoi and Momiji watched as their foes retreated in fear of the distant explosion. The bodies of the Deinonychus' were littering the ground with their necks slit by Momiji or with an arrow in their throats courtesy of Aoi.
Aoi said tiredly, "Come on down Maya. It sounds like Naruto-kun is mad now so I doubt there will be trouble for a little while…."
Meanwhile….
"RAIKIRI!" roared Ayane as she thrust the Lightning Cutter through the top of the second Allosaur's skull and into its brain. The creature had been stunned by another Eight Trigrams: Mountain Crusher and then it stopped moving in shock when its mate was obliterated by Naruto's bijudama. That gave Ayane the time she needed to run up the creature's back with chakra and deliver a finishing blow. As the dinosaur fell over dead Ayane hopped off of it and landed nimbly with cat like grace.
Hinata said, "Very nicely done Ayane-chan. Orochimaru-sensei would approve."
Ayane smiled and wiped the sweat off her brow. "That's a hard jutsu. Let's find the others." Hinata nodded and led the way to Naruto and the still shaky-legged Kasumi. They both rushed over to make sure Kasumi was alright. "Kasumi nee-chan; what happened?" asked Ayane worriedly as Hinata checked Kasumi over with a medical diagnostic jutsu.
"An Allosaurus decided to play handball with me." said Kasumi with a pained smile. "Don't worry Ayane-chan; I'll be fine." Within twenty minutes they had regrouped away from the battlefield and Hinata was patching everyone up with the help of Maya who recently learned the Mystic Palm technique herself. Kimiko was sitting dumbfounded and in awe. She'd seen the still smoking head of the second Allosaurus and what little was left of the first Allosaurus but the mile long mass of destruction left by the bijudama left her speechless.
"Well Subaru, if they didn't know we were on the island when we arrived than they sure as hell do now." growled Aoi.
Abismo Island LOA Research Facility
On the other side of the world Hyabusa Ryu found himself in a shockingly similar situation to his friends of the Uzumaki Clan in that he was fighting a Gigantosaurus. Unlike the Allosaurs that Naruto and his wives had been fighting the Gingantosaurus had been further experimented on with numerous cybernetic parts. Ryu battled the creature and actually tried to get away from it only for the dinosaur to chase him through several walls before the Hayabusa ninja thought he'd killed it with his bow. Then the Gigantosaur rose up bloodied and wrecked havoc before Ryu finally was able to drive his sword into the massive beast's brain and put it down for good….
Em Nenhum Island, LOA/DOATEC Base control room
Lovelace watched the screen with an orgasmic look on her face. The various camera views of untold destruction from the four tailed bijudama had her whole body flushed with excitement. The entire base had shaken like an earthquake and the damage out in the forest was absolutely spectacular in her eyes. The two Allosaurs were big enough to graft cameras on their thick hides and the last thing that the PY clone series Allosaur 01 saw was a transformed Naruto wielding unbelievable power! In Lovelace's mind Naruto could Father a god by her. 'Uzumaki Naruto, your children will be the future rulers of the LOA!'
On the other hand, Lisa Hamilton was petrified. Nothing short of a fully fledged air strike should have been able to do that kind of damage in her opinion. They fact PY Allosaur clone 01 was taken out in one shot left her with no doubts that Em Nenhum Island was a death trap. Even with all the other PY series of clones scattered about and the remaining fifty Hierro Gladius clones -Project Lambda- Wouldn't stand a chance in hell against this. Furthermore the three Uzumaki kunoichis fighting the PY Allosaurs along with Uzumaki Naruto had shown some terrifying powers of their own. 'Mountain Crusher? Laser Circus? Raikiri?' The last thing that the camera on PY Allosaur 02 saw was a violet haired kunoichi wielding what looked like a bolt of lightning before it was damaged beyond repair.
Em Nenhum Island, Western Forest
The Uzumaki clan immediately went into motion after Hinata and Maya finished patching them up. Kimiko was much more subdued after being healed from a couple of scrapes and bruises by Hinata….That and the verbal flogging that the kunoichis laid into her pretty much assured the JSDF Agent that if she lost her head under fire like that again that Kimiko was on her own. They were currently on the outskirts of the fenced in base that the LOA and DOATEC were using. It was fairly well lit and there were around twenty or so identical guards with what appeared to be trained hunting cats about the size of a jaguar.
"They are smilodons, otherwise known as saber toothed tigers." said Ayane as she looked at the big cats through binoculars. "At least they're small ones. These are maybe three feet tall."
"What else Ayane-chan?" asked Naruto. "We know how snow leopards fight but these saber toothed tigers aren't built the same."
Ayane thought a minute and said. "Most theories say that smilodons were ambush predators like most big cats. They aren't built for speed but rather power. I'm sure their sight, smell and hearing are good. We can't take them lightly."
"What about all those big guards?" asked Momiji. "They all look and move identically. I don't know of any amount of training that could train men to move that much alike." she said as she looked down at the Lambda clones.
Hinata said, "They must be some kind of clones. I count twenty three and they all look identical to my byakugan. They are each carrying a katana, a pistol and an automatic rifle. The body armor they are wear is similar to that armor we found on that DOATEC Soldier back at the Hien Village. It's fairly heavy except at the joints which are just fabric for mobility."
"What about the neck area Hinata?" asked Aoi.
"The neck, armpits and backs of the knees are the most vulnerable points." said Hinata as she examined the body armor in detail.
Maya said, "Then a one shot decapitating strike would be the best way to kill them fast."
"That sounds like the best option." agreed Kasumi. "Is your blade thirsting for blood Maya?"
"Yes, I wasn't even in the last battle." said Maya irritably. "I was babysitting in the trees."
Kimiko pouted. "I said I was sorry. What do you want me to do? I'm out of ammunition for my 9mm pistols and there is no way I'm going after a bunch of guys and their giant cats with just a combat knife."
Naruto shook his head. 'At least Subaru is thinking now. I wish she had started sooner.' "You stay here with two of my clones Subaru. We'll wipe out these guards and you can pick up weapons and ammunition from them."
"They outnumber you three to one and are on the other side of an electrified fence." said Kimiko. "How do you expect to get to them and beat them so easily?"
Kasumi answered, "We're ninjas. It's what we do."
"Everyone set your radios to channel 376 and pick a building." said Naruto. Several ANBU hand signals later Naruto whispered, "Let's move out." With that they all vanished in body flickers much to Kimiko's astonishment. Kimiko was further shocked that two Narutos were still with her.
The JSDF Agent asked, "Ummm….You are….?"
"We're shadow clones to keep you out of trouble." said the clone to her right. "Boss and the girls will take care of this so just sit back and watch."
Kimiko thought to herself, 'Now is my chance to observe the ninjas in action!' as she got out her binoculars.
LOA/DOATEC Base, surface level
With Aoi….
Aoi appeared on a rooftop in a body flicker and stared down at her prey. The auburn haired kunoichi smiled ferrally as she took the covers off her senbon wrist launchers. Checking to make sure the poison was correct she lined up for her first targets of the night…. 'Let's see what this new batch can do.' thought the poison mistress.
With Kasumi….
Kasumi moved like a black streak as she closed on her opponent with Shrouded Moon gleaming in the darkness. The Lambda clone was decapitated before he knew she was even there. The smilodon turned to face Kasumi but it had two shurikens in its throat and fell over dead before it could even track the Uzumaki kunoichi. Kasumi thought, 'One down.' and vanished in a body flicker.
With Ayane….
Ayane landed on top of a smilodon from the roof above and drove her kodachi through its neck severing its spine. The Lamba clone turned in shock as he saw the flash of a red eye and violet hair. He went for his automatic rifle but had a kodachi stuck through his throat before he even had time to reach for the weapon. Ayane flung the blood off her kodachis and vanished back into the shadows...
With Maya….
The former detective was standing over a dead Lambda clone and his dead smilodon partner when another clone came around the corner and opened fire on her. Dodging quickly; she took her chakra blade and it glowed as she whispered, "Illusion blade." and appeared behind the clone whose head was cut cleanly off his shoulders. He had been firing at Maya's afterimage. Maya wheeled around from her genjustu/sword combo in time to square off with a growling smilodon that leaped at her. Using her chakra blade she cut the top of smilodon's head at eye level. The big cat's body careened by her as it spasmed in its death throes. Panting slightly the newest Uzumaki kunoichi ran up the wall of the nearest building to hide on the roof as more Lambda clones arrived at the bloodbath she left behind. 'I need to work on my speed. I'm still so much slower than the others.'
With Kimiko….
Agent Subaru watched in awe as the ninjas moved too fast for the eye to follow. The big Lambda clones were dropping like flies. She gasped when three more Lambda clones and their cat partners exploded into a huge pile of sliced meat….
With Naruto….
Naruto briefly looked over his handiwork. Wind blades were simple but damned effective. He heard more Lambda clones coming and sank back into the shadows. One of the Lambda clones came around the corner and stared wide eyed at the pile of gore in fear. The aura from Naruto was so oppressive that both the Lambda clone and his saber toothed partner were both frozen in place. "What the hell happened here?" he whispered.
"This." was the last thing the Lambda clone and his cat heard as Naruto's wind blades ended them as well.
With Hinata….
Hinata was standing over a trail of gore she left behind from a bunch of Lambda clones that tried to regroup in a tight formation. Her Eight Trigrams: Air Palm had done crushing damage to the lot of them and her chakra blade lengthened like an ice zanbato had done the rest. She sighed and thought, 'It's not pinpoint like I prefer. What a mess….'
With Momiji….
The Dragon Priestess spun her naginata and neatly bisected the last saber toothed cat attacking her. The Lambda clones made the mistake of trying to surround her and close the range with swords and her naginata had more reach. 'They'd have been better off using their guns at long range.' Momiji thought. She said a small prayer for them and then vanished in a body flicker.
With Aoi….
The auburn haired kunoichi smiled when Hinata confirmed everyone's body count. "….That's twenty three clones and twenty three saber toothed cats. All targets are dead…." whispered Hinata over the radio. Aoi saw her targets lying about with foam coming out of their mouths from the new poison she'd concocted. It was useful against extinct attack cats as well as humans apparently….
With Kimiko….
The JSDF Agent heard Hinata's soft voice over the radio, "….All targets are dead…." and she shivered. Hinata's voice was like a kiss of death from her point of view. Hinata's voice then said, "Kimiko, tell Naruto-kun's clones to bring you to point A. It's all clear."
Kimoko turned to the clones from the macabre horror show she'd just witnessed. She squeaked out, "Hinata says you guys are supposed to take me to point A." Seconds later the two shadow clones took her in a body flicker to where Ayane and Kasumi were. Kimiko was a bit dizzy from the method of transport. The two sisters were standing over a pile of weapons and ammunition they'd gathered for her. Kimiko saw observation cameras on the corners of the buildings sparking with shuriken sticking out of them as well as a few bodies here and there.
Ayane's red eyes seemed to blaze in the darkness and she pointed at the pile of weapons. Kimiko shivered and Ayane said, "Pick whatever weapons you want Subaru. They are standard U.S. Army M16 rifles and Berretta M9 pistols. There is a pile of ammunition and a couple of bandoliers for cartridges as well as holsters. Hurry up and grab what you want!"
Kasumi added, "Time is of the essence Subaru. Move!"
Kimiko quickly went through the pile and grabbed several pistols. She was able to pick the two she felt were in the best shape (no blood) and quickly strapped them on. Agent Subaru wasn't as used to an M9 as her beloved Minebea 9mm but they used the same cartridges and having two extra M9 pistols as backups couldn't hurt. Ayane soon hurried up the process by loading the bandoliers with 9mm ammunition cartridges and Kasumi helped Kimoko get everything situated. Within ten minutes Kimiko was trailing after Kasumi and Ayane in a run feeling more heavily armed than she had ever been in her life. 'I have two bandoliers loaded down with full ammunition. They weigh a ton. I feel like I'm going into a war.' As they went along Kimiko tried to ignore the gore. It looked like a sea of blood to her….
Subaru soon caught up with the ninjas panting slightly. Naruto said, "Here we go. Got to move in at the speed of light." The ninja grabbed Kimiko and took off at a breakneck speed for the entrance to the facility which was pitch black inside. Hinata was already in motion throwing shurikens ahead of them and taking out security cameras left and right. Kimiko managed to get her night vision goggles in place and saw the ninjas moving through the blackness like a well oiled machine. Hinata made ANBU hand signals and the Uzumaki ninjas scattered to the four winds as machine gun fire raked the corridor they were in. In the flashing and the noise Kimiko saw three different kunai with tags fly from three different points which exploded on contact.
The JSDF Agent was dazzled by the flash and felt herself accelerate forward again through the gauntlet. By the time she finally got her vision completely back she'd felt herself tossed around like a ragdoll as the shifted in different directions down into the bowels of the research facility. The noise of gunfire, growling, screaming and god knows what else had her head spinning when they suddenly came to a halt in the darkness. Ayane's voice said. "I'm turning on the lights." Kimiko's eyes adjusted and she saw they were in a large, gymnasium sized room with shurikens and kunai sticking out of various cameras and….projectors? The room was covered in green grid like patterns from the floor to the ceiling. "What the hell…?" she whispered as Naruto sat her down on her own two feet.
LOA/DOATEC Base control room
Lovelace was sitting there horrified. "They took out the most massive virtual reality simulator room we've made to date before I could even turn it on! How am I going to seduce Naruto now…?"
Lisa said, "What in the hell are you talking about? How on earth were you going to seduce him after all that Lovelace?"
Lovelace said angrily, "Uzumaki Naruto was to be separated from the others if any of them survived that five floor deathtrap LOA set up. Using the VR I was to convince him to cooperate with me because any surviving kunoichis would be captured. It was a flawless plan and now all of them are down there alive in a VR room that is no longer functional! This is a disaster!" Lovelace had tears in her eyes as she threw a fit and started throwing files around in a rage.
'She's lost it. This woman is completely insane….' thought Lisa. The DOATEC scientist hit the unsuspecting Lovelace with a brutal roundhouse kick that she normally reserved for when she was in the fighting ring under her luchadora stage name of La Mariposa. Lovelace hit the wall hard and was knocked unconscious by the blow. Lisa got out her cell phone and dialed an emergency channel that the DOATEC employees used. "This is Lisa Hamilton. All remaining DOATEC employees are to evacuate to the heliport. I repeat, evacuate to the heliport. We are pulling out now." The cameras showed the security doors into the main lab from the VR room exploding inwards on the control room screen. Lisa caught a glimpse of the Uzumakis coming in as the dust settled and the camera was taken out by a kunai a split second later. 'There is no time to grab my other research.' thought Lisa as she picked up her laptop and external hard drives. 'Time to get the hell out.'
Underground security entrance
"Good job Ayane-chan." said Naruto. "Those doors blew in perfectly." Ayane smiled under her mask and everyone fanned out to look around in the office space. A few Lambda clones were there as well as some LOA employees armed with handguns. The exchanges were brief but violent. After nearly an hour of cat and mouse the ninjas had eliminated every one of their foes hidden in the various rooms of the research facility….
The Heliport
Fifteen DOATEC employees and ten Lambda clones were aboard the tilt rotor that the LOA was using to get on and off Em Nenhum Island. With them were six LOA survivors including the unconscious Lovelace. Lisa really wanted to abandon the evil woman to her fate but one of her subordinates pointed out that Lovelace could be a valuable bargaining chip in dealing with the Lords of Alchemy or the ninjas later. Ten minutes later they took off and Lisa Hamilton and the DOATEC staff members wanted nothing more than to forget the hellish island nightmare. Project Zeta was a complete and utter failure….
LOA/DOATEC Base control room
Hours later, Kimiko was sitting in the control room with her laptop looking at the files that she could access. "The Lords of Alchemy are monsters." she thought aloud.
"You mean more so than creating dinosaurs and extinct cats as well as cloned soldiers?" quipped Maya who was at another terminal.
The JSDF Agent nodded. "They wanted to lure Uzumaki Naruto here to experiment with his genes according to this. That must have been why they called him out specifically by name."
"WHAT?!" asked Aoi. "They wanted to experiment on Naruto-kun?" She looked over Kimiko's shoulder and saw what was on the screen:
Chairman Ashtear Higgins has authorized us to work independently of our partners in order to further our research on Uzumaki Naruto. Our goal is to recreate the unique energy he seems to possess so we can create our own human weapons with it. Results so far have been complete failures and natural reproduction by breeding with Uzumaki may be the only viable means to recreate his power. This project could last generations as a result. If this proves to be the case the following personnel are considered to be the best current candidates for breeding as they posses both strong, healthy bodies and superior intellect:
Aoi skimmed over a list of fifty names; none of which stood out to her.
The Em Nenhum Island Research facility will be the hub for this research and it is hoped Uzumaki Naruto can be captured and perhaps coerced into cooperating with us.

Looking back up at the 'breeding' list Aoi saw Lovelace was at the top of the list.
'So some horny scientist bitch wants to fuck my husband. She is so going down when I catch her.' thought Aoi angrily.
Maya was looking over Kimiko's other shoulder at the screen and thought, 'They are after our chakra. I need to tell the others. Our whole clan could be in danger –and the JSDF doesn't need to know about it….'

By morning JSDF Agent Subaru Kimiko reported in that all the LOA personnel were dead or had abandoned Em Nenhum Island. She also reported that the island was being used as a research facility for human experimentation and requested that a helicopter be sent in to retrieve them. Unbeknownst to Kimiko a demolition level exploding tag had been set in place by the Uzumakis to destroy the underground facility. The kind of research being done there not only would endanger the Uzumaki Clan but the world as a whole as cloning humans (either with or without chakra) was something no government should have knowledge of….
The Seaking helicopter that dropped them off the night before soon arrived to pick up the Uzumaki expedition. It landed and then quickly flew them out from the LOA Base heliport. They were to return with a NATO Science Team to explore the facility within a few days. An hour later the lab coincidentally exploded leaving the island to the remaining dinosaurs….

*Yes, Ayane is a total dinosaur freak in this one. It seemed like fun way to add more facets to her character.
**A couple of notes/disclaimers on the depictions of the extinct animals:
I have been a huge fan of dinosaurs, etc. since I was a little kid and the theories on dinosaurs and their behaviors have changed from slow cold blooded plodding dullards to more birdlike, intelligent and fast creatures (sometimes with feathers). The theories on their behaviors appearances and methods of predation have also changed yearly. I've pretty much mixed these behaviors to fit this fanfiction for story purposes rather than what theory is in vogue this year. If you are a paleontologist or expert on dinosaurs and know that I am "wrong" then that's great. Good for you. I'm pleading no contest as I don't claim to be an expert on these fantastic creatures; just a fan. The most recent theories favor the Deinonychus with feathers but they don't have them in this version. If anyone really wants a copout reason then we can say that the LOA & DOATEC screwed up something during the cloning process. Like them or not, that's how those particular critters were depicted in this story so please don't send me lists of 'corrections.' Humanity will probably be arguing the way dinosaurs behaved, looked, etc. until we're all fossils ourselves.
***Storm Release: This is a new ability discovered while under Orochimaru's tutelage. Since Kasumi already knew the Torn Sky Blast Ninpo is didn't seem like a real stretch to give her the Storm Release bloodline.
This chapter turned out a bit shorter than planned but it wrapped up the Em Nenhum Arc nicely so it was a good stopping point. I was originally going to have Lisa shoot Lovelace dead instead of knock her out but I decided that Lovelace was just too good of a villainess to write off so easily. Unlike Lisa Hamilton who sees experimenting with anything even related to Naruto as a bad idea, Lovelace is all for it so she'll probably come crawling back out of the woodwork eventually.
