Bad Time Bingo Summary: Never finished fanfic ideas/outlines/notes for Hunter-centric stories. Lots of angst, dark themes, and one-sided relationships. Hunter aged!up to 20 years old minimum. Each chapter has its own story concept and is written unrelated to the others. RATING MAY GO UP.

Ships to post eventually: Hunter/Belos | Hunter/Collector | Hunter/Adrian Graye Vernworth

NOTES: This whole thing is intended to be my one-stop-shop where I can drop all my Hunter-centric ideas. There'll be a variety of thought noodles but all of them will be incomplete because I have a bad habit of losing focus. Each individual concept will have angst. Many will be scribbled in note-form rather than proper story-form. Most will include one-sided, forced relationships. All feature Adult!Hunter.

Maybe someone somewhere will enjoy this bingo game of Hunter havin' a bad time.

ch. 1 Summary: When Collector realizes Belos plans to betray him on the Day of Unity, he decides to start a new, more dangerous game. He'll take that liar's grimwalker to be his own personal plaything before tossing everyone else into a high stakes game of survival. If they don't have fun? Then they're dead.

Warnings: Implied violence, kidnapping.

Intended Ship: Would've had Hunter/Collector but didn't get that far

Chapter 1 – New Game

Collector accepts Belos is gonna betray him. Decides to play a new, more horrifying game.

Maybe throws everyone into an ever-changing labyrinth structure? Filled with traps and hungry monsters both extinct and common? The 'players' either get out alive or they don't get out at all. Hunter forced to watch everyone he cares about be thrown into danger and struggle to survive. Hunter twists in the cage or shadow-y fist that holds him hostage and pleads with Collector.

"Stop." Hunter struggles for air. "Collector, stop, this isn't–"

Collector ignores him. Squeezes him tighter. "You're not going anywhere."

Hunter scrabbles at the hold, desperate to squirm upwards and out of the grip. "They'll die–!" Cuts off with a wheeze. "Please, they're my friends–"

"Friends?" Collector loosens the hold but the blank tone has his breath tightening on its own. "These are your friends?"

"Y–yes…" He trembles. Then tries again, stronger this time. "Yes."

"Well…" The monster turns eerie, soulless eyes onto him and grins. "What would you do to keep them?"

Hunter blanks. He doesn't understand. "W–what…?"

"You heard me." Gives him a shake and the force rattles the brain in his skull.

"I'll–" He struggles to form words. "I'll do whatever it takes. Just don't–guh–don't hurt them–ugh–please–please!"

Cue Hunter accepting sexual slavery for eternity in exchange for the lives of his friends/found-family.

BLAH BLAH BLAH

Maybe story actually begins when the Day of Unity arrives. Hunter and friends manage to catch up to Luz and Kikimora who have landed in the Head area. Owl Lady and co are there, maybe. Everyone's in the Head.

Maybe King managed to talk to Collector about how Belos wasn't a real friend? Which then prompts Collector into accepting Belos will betray him and thus starting the new game.

Belos starts the draining spell while in the Head somehow, sigils everywhere activate. People drop as spidering light crawls from the sigils.

Hunter's horrified as the magic starts in his arm but he hides the effect. The spell doesn't work on him properly since he has no innate magic. It's a slow growing, immobilizing pain. His friends don't remember he has a sigil of his own because of the gloves and lack of reminders. And he hasn't dropped like the others. Or maybe only Luz knows/remembers he has a sigil, not sure.

His friends are trying to fight Belos and the abomatons. Maybe they shield him from the Emperor. Alador's trying to disable the abomatons. It's chaos.

Belos calls for Collector to do his end of the deal for the Day of Unity. All the while, making his way towards where Hunter's surrounded by his friends. Hunter's terrified. Frozen stiff from fear. Luz is leading the charge. Belos keeps tossing everyone aside but they come back swingin'. Annoyed, he repeats that Collector needs to do his part before Belos can do his part. Or something equally manipulative.

Everyone tenses as the Collector starts to speak or to do something, presumably whatever it was that Belos wanted. But then the Collector… says no?

The sigil stops burning. Hunter's thrown off-kilter. Everyone's confused.

Even Belos looks surprised. "What is the meaning of this?"

"I wanna play a new game." The Collector's gaze glitters over them all. "And these are my players."

Shadows twist and swirl until Hunter's wrapped in them and plucked off the ground. He's dangled in the air and he gasps, flailing and panicked. The fist keeping him aloft shakes but doesn't release him. He squirms, slight nausea rising in his throat from the rolling force but stays pinned. His captor doesn't even seem to have noticed the frantic struggles.

"You wanted to handle this one? Shame." Nothing but teeth grins down at Belos. "You had your chance, bestie. Now you can't have him cause he's mine."

Hunter's heart rockets into his throat. "Wh-wha–!?"

Belos launches a fist. Instinctive. Sharp.

Collector glides in an easy dodge, continues to gloat. "I said we could have a third, new player. I said we could be best friends forever. I said I'd do my part and I gave you a pinky swear. But did you listen? No."

"What is the meaning of this, Collector?" Belos spits, taking a moment to reform his arm from the sludge and knobby wood to human flesh and bone.

"I've been around a long time." Collector grins but it's unhinged. The previously playful high-pitched voice drops into something dark: An ominous and threatening rumble. "You think I don't know when the players stop playing? Guess you weren't as smart as you thought, huh?"

Hunter scrabbles in the hold but it's tight and unrelenting. The fist keeping him pinned won't budge. His breathing hitches. "W-wait–"

"So like I said," the monster holding him twists and curls in layers on itself to bow at some sort of waist and gesture grandly at them all. "You're gonna play my game and play my rules and if you don't have fun…?"

The monster's body of shadows both solid and not snaps back into place. He grins. "Then you're dead."

Notes: In this idea The Owl House plot occurs similar to canon but everyone's older. Adult age or close to it. Initially scribbled when Clouds on Horizon episode first aired. Written BEFORE the finale aired. In this idea Collector has the ability to switch between an intangible shadow-figure and a solid shadow-figure. Like a poltergeist or something.

This specific idea is roughly edited. May seem clunky and switches btwn note-form and story-form. Wanted to start this collection of fanfic ideas with a shorter story idea because info overload is a thing.

Thanks for reading! Feel free to favorite/follow/review if you'd like.
